Proximity to national park was excellent
We found hair on the shower wall that was not ours. This means the showers were not cleaned properly.
This hotel looks nothing like what is advertised on the website. The property and our room were very dirty, and the pool was not working during our stay. What made the experience even worse was the manager’s behavior—she was extremely rude, disrespectful, and made us feel that we were being treated differently because of our race. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
Very clean room and comfortable bed, easy check in and out. Convenient location close to restaurants and entrance to the park.
People came late at night and talked loudly. We put the A/C on and solved the problem.
This was the best find on our visit to RMNP. The staff were so friendly. The room was spacious and updated. The beds were very comfortable. We were kindly upgraded to a balcony room which was nice for looking out at the mountains in the evenings. The location was perfect for getting into the park early on the day we didn’t have a timed entry.
not a thing
The location was excellent !! Very clean .
The walls are thin so we could hear everything from the rooms next to us . The bed was pretty hard .
location to jim and bird and bird nest walkable the young man who checked us in nice
i personally disliked the automation as i got so many emails i ignored them
Comfortable
The closest to rocky entrance into the park, friendy staff.rooms were clean, comfortable beds, frig, coffee maker and refills.
No complaints
Die Unterkunft ist sehr nahe am Eingang des NP
Nichts
Mike and his team—They were very friendly; and accommodating, in that they set us up in a nice room, with a great view. It was very comforting and spotless, which I love! I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Estes Park. I hope to be back again.
Nothing
I loved being right outside the park & it’s walking distance to a couple things: a coffee shop, great restaurant for dinner
A couple lights didn’t work upon check-in and the floors were covered in hair from a previous guest. Staff seemed annoyed that I wanted the lights fixed and asked me to leave for a full refund instead of telling me when they’d fix the lights, verbatim: ‘I can tell this is going to be a problem’. I didn’t feel comfortable mentioning the hairy floors after the lights convo.
It was quite.
It was small, the bathroom was tiny, the bed was very uncomfortable.
room was older but clean which was noticeable
bed was a bit too firm
This place is literally 5 min from tge Bear Lake entrance for RMNP. It makes beating the timed entry simple.
As close to the park as you can possibly be.
The walls are paper thin.
Room was clean
very small for the price.
There was a kiosk to check in with which was nice and there was a note with a phone number to call if you needed help.
The view was amazing every day.
We couldn't swim in the pool. They said the ph was off. The floor was dirty. There was a dirty band aid behind the door. Toilet seat was loose, we fixed it. The door knob was lose in the cabinet, we fixed it. The AC didn't work
Hotel check in process was not cleared, phone number was not available for after hours service. We were travelling from long way and network was not available on the way so couldn't make it call and no email access due to driving and network problem. We were expecting clear check in process. It was very bad experience, when we went to room one of the room has terrible smell. Its a long story to write here. But finally we used our body spray and make it little comfort. We didn't have option because we had special care child and tired family members so anyway slept there. It was not expected experience in my travels.
Check in process
Staff, Location
A/C controls only worked on Low/High (freezing or hot). Had to park across the street due to lack of parking.
Location was great and staff helpful
Big bed, big tv. Enjoyed the little pool. Stunning views. Plenty of space in room.
Slightly noisy - could hear babies / children etc in adjoining rooms. Room was quite dark
Location was perfect and bed was comfortable
Bathroom is VERY small
Great location. Good views of the mountains. Close to many good restaurants and RMNP.
Our unit seems to be getting a little worn. They generally keep up renovations very well but probably facing economic difficulties in these difficult times.
Great location so close to RMNP and several restaurants & café
The walls are incredibly thin. I listened to my neighbor's evening and morning conversation.
The location is perfect, close to the National Park and town. The rooms are clean and spacious.
The parking space is little hard to drive around.
Check in process was frustrating 😑 two room's code was not set up. One of the room was smelling.
Wasted 2 hours to check in. Staff was not there, no phone number provided there to contact to check in. That kiosk is very difficult to check in. We were on the way, no network to check email. So emergency staff was contacted she was not friendly.
It was quiet and affordable.
It was pretty small for four people. It was an older facility. It looked clean but the bathroom felt dirty and I wasn't confident.
Location!
Road a little noisy
The view from balcony and location
It was clean.
Parking lot was small
Location ONLY
Lack of staff , bad bad value ,extremely overpriced . Run down. Noisy, thin walls. Old . Ratty place. Smelly , Cancelled 2nd night . Horrible place. Better off at a motel.6 for less than half the cost . Ripoff!
Right in the middle of the city and close to amenities. No hotel key to lose and the office is open late.
Definitely not enough parking. Expensive enough that it rivals The Stanley for certain days.
Cute little hotel very close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The rooms were clean but a little small. Clean outdoor pool. No breakfast so plan on having items with you or making a short drive to restaurants in Estes Park. The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable.
Exceptional location near a popular entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Very comfy beds. Key code door entry was nice. Staff was pleasant and responsive to request for additional towels.
Kiosk self-check in even with a staff member present. Room did not have a chair even though it was roomy. Very limited space to put things: one small shelf in bathroom for toiletries, no surface around fridge and microwave to put something down and one shared bedside table that was not close to an outlet made charging devices a challenge.
Room was big. Beds comfortable. Nice towels. Had a small refrigerator and microwave. It was clean. It is on one of the free shuttle routes into Estes Park .
Our room was right on the road, so lots of street noise until late. The walls are super thin. Parking is a little tight. The bathroom is tiny. Two of our three nights we had very loud neighbors. Didn’t enjoy listening to their conversations, hearing their footsteps, and all the plumbing noises. The drunks yelling and playing music until 1 am was particularly unpleasant. The office closed at 8pm, so there was no one there after hours. It was the very busy 4th of July weekend, so lots of people and our options were limited in our budget range. If you have good ear plugs this wouldn’t be a bad place to stay.
Loved the view
I wish the door closed better and the water didnt change temperatures when u shower
Room was very clean, staff very nice
Noise from the room next door, a little over priced
very close to the national park, so i could wake up just before my reserved entry time. th room even had a coffee maker! room was clean and nice, a lttle noisy from the street. i think it was a little pricey for its value but overall the room had all the basic needs in a good manner.
a little pricey and a little noisy
Location is the prime pros for this.
Close to the park entrance .
We had to leave 2 days early because there were bugs crawling over our towels and 2 cockroaches on my face while in bed . Totally unacceptable ! When I reported to the manager , she simply said we don’t have cockroaches and was very rude .
We were able to park right in front of our room.
We stayed here twice before … the first time over 20 years ago and we remember the experience of checking in being welcoming. They were friendly and provided hiking recommendations. This time, I was told to use a screen to check-in (and not in a lobby, but a cramped closet basically). The user experience was extremely clunky and it left me feeling agitated that there was no customer service. Everything was self-serve. Then, we were disappointed at the “renovated” rooms that were lacking. But I really didn’t like was how gross the bathroom floor and baseboards were. Yuck. I don’t mind an outdated place to stay as long as it’s clean.
Location and clean, nice staff
Eigentlich nichts
Es wurde mit neu renovierten Zimmern geworben , war aber sicher schon ein paar Jahre her
Location, friendliness of staff and management.
They have tried to make it nicer, but it's still a motel. Outdoor space could have been nicer. More places to sit and a picnic table would help
Location to Rocky Mountains NP was delightful enabled easy access early morning and later in the evening.
The balcony rooms are above and when there is someone there it is quite noisy. Footsteps, dragging suitcases/bags and or furniture, it is very loud.
Spacious room and enjoyed the quiet balcony and mountain view.
Little farther away from main thoroughfare, but plenty of restaurants close by closer to park entrance.
Pricey for the comfort, bedding was decent the bathroom very small, the toilet area small and we are not big people. Good for over night stay. Beautiful area!
The chairs are metal and cold provided in the room and not comfortable at all , What little time we spent inside. Parking was not great. Disappointed in area around the hotel, pictures of the property appeared better than they actually are, but for one night everything worked.
The location
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. Before arriving, I received a message offering early check-in for an additional $25. Since I was traveling with my 4-year-old son and expected to arrive before the standard check-in time, I thought this would be a helpful option. However, when we arrived and asked about checking in early, we were told that early check-in was not available because the rooms were full and that we would need to return at 3:30 p.m. The interaction felt dismissive, and it was frustrating to receive information that directly contradicted what had been communicated beforehand. The room itself was also disappointing. The property advertises newly renovated rooms, but our room did not feel newly renovated. The furnishings and overall condition seemed dated, and the bathroom was extremely small. The walls were also very thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. For the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard of accommodations and customer service. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the property's marketing or rates. While Estes Park is a beautiful destination, I would likely choose a different place to stay on a future visit.
Location, close to park entrance and restruants. Very clean and comfortable bed
The coffee maker didn't work
I enjoyed the location of the hotel, right next to Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was quiet at night.
The website said that early check in fees applied before 2:00, however when we showed up after 2:00 we still had to pay a 10$ fee. We also could hear the squeaking of furniture from our neighbors. The bathroom does not have any ventilation-- just a window. There were also some areas on the walls that did not have complete paint jobs. The location is great and the rooms are clean, however for the price we paid and the early check-in up charge, I was unimpressed.
The staff were so helpful accommodating a late check in for us!
Good location
Shower bar was broken and couldn’t use the curtain correctly.
Close to the park, very clean, comfortable and close to shops and restaurants!
Great place to stay and very affordable!
Yes I would I've stayed here twice before
Convenient, clean, updated, nice decor
Sink area was a bit small but in all a good value for this area of tourism. Thankful to staff for keeping up with customers. 😁
Great location, good size room, clean and nice balcony. There is a good restaurant 1 minute walk form the inn, and a good and cozy bakery/ coffee place across the road.
Nothing really. Just bear in mind that the Balcony is over the main road and thus noisy. Also, the check in is a bit late, at 3 pm.
Everything!
We loved everything
Price /value is superior. Room location and convenience is excellent.
I understand that a smaller hotel can't staff a desk 24/7, but it is a small inconvenience if you need assistance. Simply be aware that the office is not always staffed. Some communication may need to be done by texting.
Very dated accommodation but served a purpose. We booked 37 nights accommodation throughout the US and this was the only place that required a deposit and then took the balance before we arrived. A courtesy would have been to email first as I had used my card as a holding card only for all friends rooms and we would have paid separately. As for cleanliness, the rooms were very average. As for location the accommodation is on the furthest extremity of town. This place is definitely budget so dont believe the photos on the website
I loved it ,old fashion and very clean!
I don’t have any bad things to say about this motel
Location , the park was right down the road and the views were amazing.
None
Could hear the people in each room on both sides and Couldn't sleep
Fantastic location! Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Easy check in and check out. Didn’t care for the fact it cost me 30 dollars to check in three hours early, but I needed sleep
Beds were comfy.
Could have used a comfy chair.
Value, clean, quiet
Located close to rmnp entrance
location,clean,service
fire place
The room was inexpensive for Estes park.
Great place to stay!
The staff was excellent and understanding. We arrive late. We had late arrival packet ready. We actually extended our checkout time that transition was smooth and reasonable. Definitely will be staying there again.

We were excited for a quick family vacation to Estes Park. When we arrived the floors were filthy. Debris everywhere and one dead beetle. The TV in the living room turned on but would not play anything. The instructions for the TV stated you could log into your own streaming services. After an hour of frustration we gave up on that idea. I went to the front office and reported the problem with the TV and was told they were not “fancy” enough to have anything but basic TV, it didn’t even do that. I asked for the floors to be cleaned while we went out and was told the cleaning crew left for the day and was given a broom. Sweeping is not my idea of a vacation. The kitchen was a nice addition except there was no salt in the salt shaker and no oven mitt. The stove top slanted so much it was difficult to cook on. When I went to take a plug out of the outlet the whole outlet almost came out. Lastly the chain on the door was coming out of the wall. We put a piece of furniture in front of the door at night. Unfortunately staying here put a big damper on the vacation. If we were going to stay another night I would have changed hotels.
Nothing
They don't clean the room and don't take the garbage until you leave no enough toilet paper just a roll and litle bit for two day of stay house keeping don't check that is sad
Location
It is not clean. Inside and outside the room
Super clean and renovated on the inside. They had great little complimentary toiletries and a fridge, microwave, and ironing board as well as a coffee maker. Location was super close to the park and the price is amazing. Honestly I feel like I got such a good deal for what we paid. Probably the cleanest place I’ve stayed at. Very quiet as well.
Nothing excellent place to stay
