the pool was big , however it was very shallow not very deep and also we were told not to access the pool because of some cleaning process going on in the day . room was excellent and they had it cleaned every day. they had beach drop off twice a day and it was good. the staff was very friendly and approachable.

i did not enjoy the breakfast venue plus the options available were very few . there were not any place to sit and dine post evening the pool was out of service during the afternoons and post 7 pm pool was not allowed to use .

Loved this resort as the staff are friendly , all rooms are on ground level and have pool access and location is perfect which is why we keep returning. It ticks all the boxes for a great holiday

I loved the swim up pool which contributed to the beauty of the resort.

While the lobby and the external parts of the property was beautiful, the room, especially the bathroom seemed a bit run down, not what I would expect in a 4 star property.

Rooms are dated and in need of some tlc. Bathroom is old and shower didn’t drain properly due to uneven surface. Room needs to have plug points for charging by the bedside pedestals. Couldn’t leave door open leading to patios due to insects, and unable to access pool from patio very dangerous to jump in as no steps. If I had known this would not have booked. Breakfast limited

Yes the chef can make a vegetarian food for us but for sure as a tourist we would like to enjoy the thai food that available for muslim And if you bring a baby u have to buy the mosquito repellent cz the resort not providing you this. A lots of mosquito will enter you room.

Direct access from room balcony to the expansive pool was wonderful. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly. Only 10 minutes by cab to Karon beach.

The in-room dining was a little below par and we kept having an issue in figuring out how the use the air conditioner.

All went well. The resort is set out very well and the pool access from each room was certainly one of the main attractions. The rooms were well appointed and the cleanliness was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I think the breakfast could have been improved, however the staff more than made up for it - they were always helpful and attentive. A special mention to the staff cooking the eggs - anyway you like them. Bravo.

What an amazing hotel! Peaceful, relaxing, stylish and so wonderfully run. The swim up rooms are lovely. Particularly in the Blue Wing. Here you have more convenient wide steps into the canal style pool. The green wing is not as easy to get into the pool. Here there are square blocks to get into pool. Not as easy for older visitors. This is about to change..The Green wing will undergo a big modernisation over summer 26. Updated rooms and better pool access. We switched from green to blue after a few days. This was easy and handled very well. Rooms, bathroom shower etc, all great. Breakfast is brilliant, egg station is a must. But, something for all tastes. Now the staff...!! Just super 👌 first class. Everyone is so friendly. RESORT. We found Karon good. But for a better, beach, bars, markets etc we preferred Kata. Just a couple of quid by taxi.

Der Pool war sensationell! Es gab einen direkten Zugang zum Pool aus dem Zimmer! Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und die Mitarbeiter hatten immer ein lächeln im Gesicht.

Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen, das einzige, worüber ich mich hätte beschweren können, wäre die Matratze. Aber da kann man ea glaube ich niemanden immer zu recht machen. Mir persönlich war es zu hart. Ixh habe trotzdem wie ei. Baby geschlafen.

The room was spacious, but not much to store in. The staff tried to do the best to help us. Many options for swimming. I think it is a good option to have a stay for 2 or 3 nights. I wouldn't stay longer.

It's far to get to the beach and restaurants. The resort is close to the main road. We got first a room in this area. The only one option we got was a room directly at the pool bar which wasn't the best place too. The hanger for the towels was above the toilet, I have never seen that before in other hotels. During the day people were very noisy. At night it was quiet. People didn't follow the pool rules. Somked and drank with glasses and glass bottles in the pool. The pool was pretty dirty. Especially English made the stay very uncomfortable because of their behavior and noise. I had my concerns when I booked this place. Pool access concepts is nothing for people they want quite place or relax. Anyway, I don't stay in any of those places again.

The room with the swim up pool in blue wing was amazing. Loved that the terrace was hardly in the sun(it was nice to have a rest from the sun). Easy access to pool via stairs. Shower powerful. Provided with shower gel and shampoo &conditioner and hand soap. Pool towels provided too. The sunbeds on the terrace were extra comfy. The bed is one of the hardest beds I have ever slept in. We did have a prob with the air con but it was rectified. Staff really friendly. Pool bar prices a bit pricy compared with outside restaurants. Lovely flowers and plants dotted around the resort.

The staff is so incredibly friendly. They try too really make you have a great time. No question is unanswered.

On some places, for example the pool, it's a little outdated. It could use some upgrade. Also the step from shower to room is a little dangerous for small children.

Our holiday to Thailand was cancelled with 6 days to go due to the original layover we had in the Middle East. I had to rebook the holiday there and then with no research on hotels that I would have normally have done as our original multi centre hotels were no longer available. I was not sure what to expect however it was such a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay and were actually sad to leave to go to our next destination. All rooms were swim up rooms and the little area outside the patio door was perfect to relax in especially when you are suffering from jet lag. The pool outside our room was a little lagoon type pool and felt so private and it was really quiet. There was a main pool as well with a swim up bar that had the best cocktails! It felt like a little paradise with the beautiful gardens. They even delivered room service on little boats. We had breakfast each day which had a good choice and they cooked omelets, bacon and eggs to order. We didn’t have dinner here as there was a small buffet a couple of nights a week however we were not keen on what was on the menu. There a many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and 7 eleven was a 2 minute walk. There is a shuttle which will take you down to the beach twice a day and there are lots of restaurants etc there as well. The room service was very nice with generous portions. The hotel was really clean and although seemed to be a bit of algae on the walls inside the pool, while we were there they were cleaning it off. We saw staff constantly cleaning and looking after the gardens. The rooms were large and comfortable and very clean. The staff at this hotel were so lovely, helpful and friendly. A real credit to the hotel and we were always greeted with a smile and were always offering to help. Our flight arrived early in the morning so we arrived hours before official check in. All the staff did everything they could to get our room ready as early as possible which we were so grateful for after a very long flight. We would love to come back to this hotel if we ever came back to Phuket. Absolutely fantastic stay. Thank you to all staff for making our first stay in Thailand so lovely.

Access Resort - Our second visit, Swimup rooms are fabulous - The staff in this hotel are Amazing and very very hardworking to ensure you have the best holiday possible from Dada in reception, Boat, Supannee, to the bar staff Ellie, Bowie & Frame, our cleaner Soi and the lovely Restaurant Manager Mr Troy, All the staff from the restaurant to the cleaners, gardeners and porters really are an asset to access resort. We stayed longer than we had planned due to the Iran war and the hotel made every effort to deal with any question/request we had. The rooms had been refurbished and are very relaxing the location is good and so peaceful we stopped over 7 weeks in 6 Different hotels and Access without doubt the best! We came as independent travelers so had no rep at the hotel to enquire about flights being cancelled etc and what was happening, But the Tui Rep in this hotel Sai was very kind and very very helpful to everyone and went above and beyond. We saw hoe this lady dealt with a customer that had an accident and ended up in hospital she was brilliant! If you are going to Karon Beach don't miss this amazing hotel! Thank you all for an amazing holiday - see you all next year :)

Stayed for 14 nights. Nice and quiet resort. Pleasant surroundings, good quality rooms and loved the fact the swim up room outside area had shade. Breakfast food was rather underwhelming.. very little variation on a daily basis and not many options. Still at least a few things to fill you up until lunch. Very polite and helpful staff (the typical Thailand level) Only negative I could say is the pool. Lots of bits floating around the bottom, scum on the edge tiles and never seen anyone attempt to clean the pool in the two weeks we were there. Was a topic around the pool whenever someone new arrived. Happy hour was always a great time for the brits to gather and chat. Overall, would stay again if on a multi resort trip

I had read some reviews and actually asked to cancel but we are glad we didn’t . This is not a luxury hotel but a lovely holiday hotel with the most lovely staff and beautiful rooms and gardens. Breakfast was simple and fresh. The restaurant is an open pavilion style with fans and shade which just made breakfast really lovely. Rooms were nicer than a lot of luxury ones I have stayed in.

The beds are slightly on the hard side and could really do with a mattress protector with a big of give.

We love the swim up rooms the size and quality of the room is lovely. Worth every penny second staying there and will be back.

The only negative is there is no storage for your clothes otherthan a wardrobeand a tiny drawer. We pointed this out to the manger who hopefully will put drawers in when they refurbish the blue wing rooms.

The Access resort and villas is a nice place to stay but I wouldnt say that it is a 4 star. While the food areas were always spotlessly clean the pool areas and the pool its self was not. The pool area regularly had cigarette butts and drink stains on the tiles and wasnt cleaned regularly neither were the sunbeds. The pool itself had grit and dirt in the bottom and plastic bottles in it and there were scum marks on the tiled sides of the pool and we had to prompt the staff to have someone clean the debris. Our room was lovely but the cleaner wouldnt always give us fresh drinking glasses or enough towels. We also noticed that we didnt get as good a maid service as other guests ie towels folded creatively, floors washed, fresh pool towels and bathroom cleaned everyday. We could only assume that this is because we dont tend to tip everyday but at the end of the holiday we leave a larger tip and the other guests we spoke with did leave a tip at least every other day.Having the swim up room was nice but there are patio roofs that are not retractable so you tend not to get the sun on the patio of the swim up for very much of the day. The sunbeds are hard as rocks. The food and cocktails are very good and a very reasonable price and as the bars are swim up its handy to be able to to open a tab rather than trying to bring money into the pool. Over all we enjoyed our stay here but there is room for improvement

Just arrived home after amazing 3 week stay at Access resort and villas...we loved it especially the swim up pool. Staff are brilliant all helpful and always had a smile.. Breakfast was enough many choices and the egg and noodle stations perfect. Can't fault this hotel we will definitely back ...

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our 2 weeks in Thailand, lovely relaxing hotel with swim up room, staff were lovely & friendly, breakfast was good especially the egg station, bed was smaller than the previous 2 hotels we had stayed in, limited storage, would say our room was a bit tired looking especially the bathroom which could do with being updated & the doors also (room 170) , everything lovely & clean though, staff work hard. The road outside is super busy with no pavement so was a bit of a nightmare walking down & back each night to restaurants/ bars etc, shuttle bus to beach twice a day 10am & 2pm just one way, had a relaxing couple of days before heading home.

Nice hotel with all room direct access to the pools. Very good furnished private terrace. A little far from the shops, restaurants and the beach, but had a free shuttle service twice a day. Really nice garden with several pools, with always available sunbeds. The hotel has a very good spa, with a large choise of massage and other treatment, with a very affordable price. (Not a lot more expensive that local one in the streets).

Nothing, except the breakfast juice had an industrial taste. Could be better in a country where plenty of frest fruit is available all year long for almost no money. We experienced better in other hotel.

We stayed at the Access Resort Villas for two weeks. We were well looked after by staff and nothing was too much trouble....we loved the location of our room and would definitely return to the tranquil days spent around our room and pool area. The swim up rooms are just perfect. The house keeping team work tirelessly and clean the rooms daily. We met Mr Troy who was exceptionally kind and couldn't do enough for all the visitors, his English is also very good which helped with communication difficulties at times. Mr Troy is an amazing person and a real asset to this hotel. All staff were wonderful in their own right. Make sure you get the mosquito cream on from 5.30 pm, advised by the locals. We would definitely return. We visited a number of different islands that was breathtakingly beautiful, Bamboo Island being my my favourite, it's a real shame that you only spend approx. half on hour on each of the four Islands visited. The Elephant Sanctuary was worth a visit too, don't forget to grab an umbrella as the heat is very intense. When out and about there are parts of Thailand you would want to protect young children from. Some older men with the young girls had no boundaries, it's difficult for an adult to witness so you would never want a child to witness some of the adults behaviour.

From the moment we arrived, everything has been beautiful and spotless. The whole hotel feels calm, welcoming and so well looked after. Our swim-up room has been the highlight of our stay. Stepping straight from our room into the pool every day has felt like pure luxury. We absolutely loved it. As it’s our honeymoon, the team added such thoughtful touches to our room, with gorgeous towel decorations and romantic details that made us feel really special. It meant so much to us. The spa is slightly more expensive than the massage places you’ll find along the road, but only by a little, and the service and quality make it completely worth it. I was there every other day. The treatments were incredible and so relaxing. The reception staff have been amazing from start to finish, always friendly, helpful and smiling. The swim-up bar team were brilliant too and made our afternoons so enjoyable. Everything here has been excellent. The cleanliness, the atmosphere, the rooms, the pool, and most of all the people. Just amazing all round. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special. We will never forget our stay here. Victoria & Lee

Lovely hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not very extensive, but at least big enough for us. Eggstation at breakfast is great. Rooms are very nice and poolaccess from everyroom is awesome. You can also get taxi from hotel wich makes it very easy to travel different places.

Stayed at this stunning relaxing hotel 16th -31st Jan Room 139 which unfortunately didn't get much Sun However this was a blessing just a short swim to the island for as much sun as possible. The staff at this hotel are absolutely incredibly friendly helpful very polite & nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself is very calm , peaceful and relaxing .The breakfast is good plenty of choice. I did hire a scooter from the hotel for 10 days at a reasonable rate. there's plenty of restaurants within walking distance nearby. I enjoyed this hotel and would highly recommend it while visiting Karon beach Phuket

I stayed here for 2 weeks from 14th to 29th January in room 184 on a package booked through Tui. I absolutely loved the concept of this hotel and I spent a huge portion of my holiday on the patio of my swim up room. My patio got the sunshine all morning until about 1.30pm and in the afternoon,  it was a beautiful shady haven!  My room was clean and comfortable, classed as a twin, it was two beds made up together to make a super king sized bed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. Bedding and towels were changed daily. A couple of small niggles,  very little storage space/coat hangers for one person, let alone two people.  I used every inch of it. There was only space to store one suitcase too. My room looked out onto a large white painted brick wall,  which needs some more trees and shrubs planted to hide it - a simple fix, but perhaps not noticeable unless you are staying in the room. The room wasn't overlooked so felt lovely and private with no one opposite me. Breakfast was great,  plenty of options and the freshly cooked omelettes were always delicious.  I was given two complementary dinners which were OK,  but the food wasn't really to my taste.  I usually sat and had a cocktail in the bar after I returned from eating out, but it was always pretty quiet there, despite having a live band playing several evenings a week.  The quiet low key atmosphere suited me and it was lovely when staff remembered what I liked to drink. Every member of staff I encountered in the hotel was absolutely lovely,  very welcoming, friendly and professional.  I think that the location of the hotel is great, it really worked well for me.  There are a plenty of nice restaurants nearby - Mama Jins and The Elephant Restaurant were a couple of my favourites and there's a supermarket a few minutes walk away. The road outside is very busy and initially I was horrified by the thought of walking along it. After a couple of days,  it didn't seem as bad, but you do need to take care! There's a courtesy bus to the beach twice a day at 10am and 2pm - you need to reserve a place on it at reception beforehand if you want to use it, they can also get a taxi for you, there's always loads outside waiting.  If you walk to the beach, it takes about 20 minutes, a level walk with plenty of shops to look in along the way.  There's a fab night market in the grounds of the Temple about 5 minutes walk from the hotel,  this is held on Tuesdays and Fridays. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I were to return to the area

From the outside not as promising as some of the other grander hotels in town, but what a friendly, low rise, calming hotel. Wasn't expecting much, but room large and cool, keot very clean, swim up room was lovely and our terrace got afternoon sun which was great. Swim up bar lovely and cooling, drinks good and plentiful, buffet breakfast good, fair choice, but the star each morning it was on was the chicken noodle soup, not something we Brits have for breakfast, but so light and refreshing, made ti order infront of you, delicious!! There were a few little tired areas that needed a little updating, and not on the beach, a 20 minute stroll down to beach, but as a nearly 70 Yr old, and not fit, I could do it easily, and if 4 sharing a tuk tuk back up the hill costs about £1 each if tired! We'd stay there again, not 5 star luxury, but comfortable, there is a spa and gym too, didn't partake, looked ok.

Stayed here over new year , overall was impressed at my room 164 with swim.up pool outside my doors. Room was very modern and clean & looked quite newly decorated . Having been thailand a few times thought the tui package holiday was good value , having paid more previously and been basic . Restaurant breakfast was good enough for me and the meals offered dinner & evenings was good too Atmosphere was very relaxing , evening was quiet and midnight silence . Been solo traveller was easy to communicate with other guests , mainly couples or family's. On arrival I asked about my friend who I always see to stay and would of paid the whole vaccation . But was told no guests allowed . Then 2nd week 2 days before coming told could stay at 1200 baht I'd of paid that x 14 .. As I spend my whole vacation with her. I would love to return again here but due to the above , I would have to think hard

It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming as I was by myself. The best hospitality in Thailand. They even gave me and upgrade to my room. Best place I stayed in Thailand!!

This hotel is very pretty and it was lovely having a swim up room. We had a room at the end of a "pool" which gave us a feeling of having our own bit of paradise. Very clean and very friendly hotel We came here after a week in Krabi and have to say we preferred Krabi. It's more cosmopolitan and has better pedestrian friendly paths & less mosquitos ( we found.) There were some downsides to this resort: - The bed was incredibly hard. It was like concrete and we slept badly. There is no wardrobe or chest of drawers. - The breakfast could have had more choice, such as pastries. The coffee machine always seemed faulty. - The mosquito problem is bad. - the road to the beach is precarious with paths that are parked on and you have to walk into the road. The traffic is manic Phuket beach was busy but lovely and the sunbeds were cheap and the attendants were attentive. If you have already booked , you will enjoy yourself but be aware of the pitfalls.

Stayed here for 4 x days on way to Oz… ( couple plus 21 year old) remarkable tranquil feel within the hotel; delightful friendly staff; unique setting of access to water/ pools from ALL rooms ( which were superbly clean spacious & comfy) swim up to bars fun & delicious cocktails! .. plus of course the picturesque boat delivery of room service via the waterways! truly remarkable place. Outside, it is bustling street life,markets, stunning beaches, fantastic location for Walks to beaches( Karon, Patong, Kata) or easy taxi.. restaurants a plenty. Boat trip to PhiPhi island an absolute must. Unfortunately we left an iPad ( with students uni assignment on!) in a taxi to airport… staff here went above & beyond in communications secured the return of iPad to hotel,(remarkable in itself!) held on to it, .. packaged it…so we could courier it home to UK.. it arrived today!! Could not be more grateful for the amazing support and kindness by the staff… we are so so enormously grateful and highly recommend staying here to experience all it offered us..and more! Stunning on so many levels. Do not hesitate to book if you are looking!!

조식 메뉴가 많지는 않지만 다들 호불호 없이 먹을만 한 메뉴라 잘 먹었습니다. 시간도 넉넉해서(6:30~10) 아침 일찍 출발하는 투어에도 먹을 수 있어서 좋았어요. 마주치는 직원들이 모두 웃어주고, 알아봐줘서 좋았습니다. 다들 기억력이 좋으신듯 해요. 한국인도 없었지만, 그 나라 사람도 하나도 없어요. 샤워젤/샴푸가 레몬그라스 향인듯 한데, 생각보다 질이 좋은것 같아요.

메뉴 변화가 거의 없었지만(4일동안 쥬스 1가지, 식사메뉴 1~2가지변동) 즉석 계란요리나 신선한 샐러드등은 좋았습니다. 투숙객이 대부분 서양인이라 그런지 태국메뉴가 없어서(국수가 한번 나왔는데, 누군가 만들어줘야 할것 처럼 생겼는데, 직원이 없어서 못 먹어 봤네요) 간단한 설명과 셀프 쏨땀 정도 있으면 좋을듯 합니다. 객실내에선 금연인것 같은데, 수영장 주변 비치베드 등에선 흡연이 가능한지 다들 누워서 흡연... 담배냄새 피해다니기 힘들었네요. 호텔입구에 좀 더 커다란 간판등이 있으면 좋을것 같아요. 4일간 렌트카로 다녔는데, 입구찾기가 힘들어요. 특히 밤에는 더 안보이네요.

Stayed in rooms 165 & 170, rooms were beautiful straight in the main pool, hotel staff were lovely and friendly nothing was to much trouble, even though onto a main road was easy to get to everywhere, would recommend Kata beach for beach and Mama Gin for food across the road.

Amazing tranquil hotel. The staff are incredible and so friendly. From the warm welcome and refreshments on arrival to the large comfortable poolside room, the hotel does not fail. Food excellent and reasonable price for a hotel I’d like to shout out to two particular staff members photographed below. These two gentleman would be an asset to any high class London hotel. They are so friendly, helpful, smart and courteous, SHA resorts should be reminded of how excellent and professional these two are and they made our stay the best experience

Amazing place to say! Sad to leave lovely staff and Beautiful hotel!

Beautiful hotel. From arriving and checking in the staff very brilliant and couldn't do enough to help guests. Rooms were beautiful and spacious and thoroughly cleaned every day. Priced in the restaurant were very reasonable and although we really only had snacks I would say there was plenty of choice on the menu. Evening entertainment was not to our liking (sorry) but needed to be more party like for the time of the year. Plenty of Sunbeds's available at all times even though hotel was full and room service was something different. Pools were immaculately clean and surrounding areas- always people around cleaning. Would highly recommend a stay here which is a 15 minute walk into busier nightlife or 200 baht in a taxi (£5).

The place is false Nothing like pictures they have on their website or booking.com We lasted 1 hour with the manager saying he would sort a refund and he has given nothing back We paid for 6 nights £2000 gbp it is shocking. Mouldy beds left in walkways which we have since been told were for other guest rooms 🫣. Absolutely no way should this resort be described as 5 star. We are now staying at a 5 star resort in Karon which is excellent. Had to obviously pay again - very poor service from Access Resorts we are very disappointed. The resort will have sold our room so have received double the price which in my opinion is plain greedy. I can only summarise by describing the resort as a poorer cousin of Butlins. Do not be fooled by the images online. If you have booked get your money back now Chris
