Loved seeing all the environmentally friendly options. Loved seeing donations to local charities board. Enjoyed the coupon for breakfast at Smitty's

A hidden gem- can’t rate this place high enough. We were really impressed and delighted we chose this hotel. Staff - super friendly & helpful Beds were extra comfortable Hot tub/Jacuzzi - amazing Loved the kitchen facilities inside & outside, cleanliness and fox themed everything here. Happy to support a small business that is trying to be as sustainable as possible. Can see the huge effort put in here and will definitely be back here repeatedly when visiting Fernie :)

Everything the bed linens were amazing. The towels could have been thicker but for drying purposes I understand the reason for less luxurious.

The place was very clean, and the room was big, the beds were very comfortable. All the employees were nice and very kind.

This was a really comfortable place to stay and if I go to Fernie again I would definitely stay here.

It was a drive to get to the downtown area.

Tayla checked us in and was helpful when we asked to switch rooms. Great shower (though water was not contained in shower area, no shower door only a half-wall). Appreciated 15% discount coupon at Smitty's restaurant (next door) in AM, but breakfast food was average. Room coffee was hard to make (grounds in drip filter into coffee cups) but very good once brewed.

No door on shower stall, just a half glass wall; HD TV had cable but few channels and no premium cable channels with movies nor series (thought it would based on price and advertising info online), also unable to see what shows were coming up on cable guide on the TV (and no printed list of channels for reference). Bed was comfortable but high for 4'11" senior female to get into.

The rooms and facilities within the hotel were immaculate. Very comfortable and quiet.

Great hotel- very clean, EV charging, sauna and hot tub along with a kitchen to make a meal. We even saw a fox and deer wandering outside. They have made it energy efficient without losing any quality. The staff were excellent- friendly and helpful.

Love the care and attention given to being eco friendly righ5 down to the toilet paper. Also provides staff a living wage!! And the coffee is the best I’ve ever had. Love the the foxes, thought the ones outside the window were real for moment.

J'avais demandé une chambre adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Après plus d'un mois sur la route et avoir séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels ... Enfin une chambre vraiment adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite ! Prendre une douche n'est plus une acrobatie ni un danger. Pour être parfait, il ne manque l'ajout d'une tablette dans la salle de bain pour déposer nos effets personnels de toilette et un support près du lavabo pour y suspendre la serviette pour les mains. La chambre est vraiment confortable. L'hôtel est bien situé. La chambre dispose de tout l'équipement pour y être à l'aise et même y prendre nos repas.

Very comfortable beds, linen crisp. The staff were welcoming & polite.

Traffic noise

This hotel has given me THE best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel, 0 complaints. The staff here is always around to lend a hand and will do their best to make sure you have a great experience. The complimentary E-Bikes are a great way to explore the surrounding area via the dirt and paved trails which providing amazing views of the streams, river and mountains. The entire interior of the building just has personality that should be experienced in person. The rooms are spick and span upon arrival ready to be heated or cooled to your liking, and if your room gets too boring you can always go enjoy the hot tub or sauna out back or the grill and seating area that is free to use out front! Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore the towns natural beauty and have a well deserved rest.

hot tub and sauna were amazing and open until midnight that was a bonus . lobby coffee was super good and they made me a fresh pot in evening we travelled from calgary on motorcycles through some pretty heavy rain and cool temperatures this hotel was an oasis located next to highway smitties restaurant across the parking lot was a bonus and they allowed us to leave our bikes in carport until we and the bikes dried off was the best hotel of our mc tour !

We loved the view of the river. Also really enjoyed the design of the rooms - the giant photographs of Fernie as headboards were a cool touch. Appreciated that the Fox is trying to go green! Loved that the hot tub and sauna were open till midnigh.

There were some dead flies in the hot tub (ick).

The moment we arrived we were greeted by enthusiastic staff. All the facilities were explained and were excellent. The spa and sauna were relaxing and the meal room was fully equipped.

Fantastic staff, clean and usable room, convenient location and hot tub/sauna are a real bonus. Beds were comfortable with extra pillows and good in room amenities. The water station and communal kitchen are all really nice touches. Hotel's location is easy to find. Easy to park and conviently located near many facilities. Not in town but very close and easy to get to the hill. Price is fair and service was fantastic.

Only thing is the heater in the room is a bit loud but not a deal breaker at all

Very convenient location. Love how they are so environmentally friendly with solar panels, EV charging stations, lights that turn off when not in use etc. Also love the water bottle filling station and great communal kitchen! The staff are also very helpful and friendly.

Our trip through Fernie is just that, a stop and go needing a place to stay overnight on our long journey. Our accommodations are always ready for us when we arrive. The room is always clean and up to our needs. (We get a pet friendly room.) The staff is always friendly and accommodating to our needs if any. Highly recommend the Fernie Fox Hotel.

The free water bottles were great and the customer service was great, the employee really wanted to help when the hot tub wasn't working and apologized.

The hot tub was cold when we got into it and it was the main reason I came to stay there, otherwise paying $230 for 1 night and no working hot tub felt like a lot of money and wasn't really worth it. Stayed in a different hotel the next night that was slightly cheaper and had much better amenities. The towels in our room had stains on them and the shower was not very well cleaned.

Very comfortable, great staff, excellent communal kitchen. Nice decor. AND the TV was user-friendly so we could watch the Jays game in comfort. Best spot on this long road trip so far!

This was a quick stay. It was a great experience. Very easy check in and out. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. It was a great room, the set up and furniture was perfect. I will be coming back for sure. A great location!!!

Clean, convenient, newer, took advantage of the free rental bikes, we have been thinking of buying some and this was the perfect opportunity to try them out.

I liked the how eco friendly the hotel was and the staff. I was disgusted by the smell of dog poo in the room without any mention of it. The traffic and train were very noisy so not the best choice,

This is one of cleanest hotels we’ve been to. The staff we have met so far have been extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Well kept clean hotel

Even though there was no breakfast option they provided a beautiful kitchen available to all... The rooms were clean and beds were comfy.. EV chargers and ebikes free to use. Was impressed with this place.

Nice hotel

From the minute we arrived the entire staff welcomed us and went above & beyond to make sure our stay was special. The FREE E-Bikes were amazing & we took advantage of them several times. We have told everyone we know that they need to book a stay here. Our other favourite part was the awesome outdoor Hot Tub. Such a treat

Everything was great. Everyone was professional, friendly.

Loved the fox everywhere and room was nice, location quiet apart from loud aircon and fridge. Close to nice restaurants. Indonesian lady at reception was exceptionally nice and helpful, an asset to the hotel.

Impressive commitment to environmentalism in the operation of the hotel and all of its facilities. My wife and I shall definitely stay here again when we come to Fernie.

This hotel is obviously very proud of the steps taken to make it eco friendly. A very modern hotel, yet extremely comfy. This was our second stay at this hotel, and will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. Beds were comfortable and clean but just a little bit lower at the head of the beds for some reason. Not sure why but an extra pillow fixed that problem.

There is a Smitty’s right beside the hotel for all your dining needs. The beds were comfy with lovely bedding. Access to wifi was easy.

This hotel is eco-friendly and gives back to the community as evidenced through news articles and signage and by supporting local businesses (eg use of locally roasted coffee in the rooms). The staff were the most friendly and thoughtful hotel staff of anywhere I have stayed before. The staff appeared to be truly happy and enjoy their work, giving the impression that this establishment treats its employees kindly. The hotel is clean with a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ to allow for home cooked meals, if preferred. Pet friendly.

The guest BBQ and shared kitchen are great features, the staff are friendly, our AC didn't cool but at night the mountain air fixed that

We really liked having the full kitchen and BBQ area to prep and cook our own healthy meals, instead of having to order food or go to restaurants all the time. The staff was very friendly as well!

Slightly away from the main business area but the cost savings is worth the 15 minute walk. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, great pillows, room had everything you needed. Friendly, efficient check-in. Spotlessly clean. Quiet. This is a green hotel, this has taken planning and effort which is much appreciated. Will stay again.
