Breakfast was good.

The room was in the basement, sink was cracked, was very dark.

The rooms and pool are getting a little run down, wallpaper peeling, the pool floor missing tiles, but the price is still very high. The rooms feel stuffy with noisy a/c

Very friendly and accomodating staff, overworked in my opinion but still smiling. Breakfast was better than expected, with both pancake machine and waffle maker. Great amenities, however waterpark/pool wasn’t private, windows looking out the reception and entrance. Pleasant restaurant and amazing terrace by the river, very private and quiet.

We booked a pet friendly room so maybe there wasn’t much choice. Room 135 was in fact in the basement so that was considered first floor and that’s where the fitness room and water park access was too, with reception at main floor (second floor) so indeed it was away from the elevator however right between the back entrance, cleaning and mechanical room so we were woken up around 7am. Also coffee machine didn’t work and the game room was a rip off, not working properly but taking your money - everyone please stay away, those machines are built to rip you off and they don’t belong to the hotel.

Great hotel! Clean, lots of parking! There was a family on the floor above us and they were very noisy and the manager dealt with the issue quickly for us. Thank you! Beds were amazing and buffet breakfast was great!

The location and pool!

BREAKFAST was cold, same food everyday, tasteless, had to use paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery. Our room 209 was in a bad state of repair, eg: sliding patio door did not lock properly, safety lock on door was not secure, back of bathroom door paint was peeling off, large patch on ceiling repair, phone not working properly in room, table lamp missing, loung chair in room was disgustingly filthy and sticky, hotel was not very clean!

- the room was very spacious and comfortable - the balcony with mountain views - the breakfast had a lot of variety and was good quality - the restaurant & breakfast room had patios that allowed dogs - the pool and slide were great for kids - the hotel is right beside the river - there is a games room with arcade games

- the pool area was only accessible by a flight of stairs, so not very accessible - the bathroom needed a few repairs (ex. the shower curtain was ripped, the caulking was turning rusty & had black spots) - the air conditioner is right at the head of the bed and blows directly in your face

Не обычная архитектура. Красивейшее расположение с видом на реку. Большая водная горка, детям пришлось кстати. Практически в каждом номере есть выход на не большие балконы.

Все в этом отеле в плачевном состоянии, разбито, порвано, сломано. Стенки в ванной комнате покрыты плесенью из за отсутствия вытяжки. Ужасное состояние номера.

Pool was great, staff were great, location was excellent, price was alright, breakfast was okay.

Hotel was kind of old, cleanliness was not great. AC kind of worked but not well.

The position of air conditioning very bad, it’s blowing to face person who o lay down on bad.

Rooms are large with small fridge and a coffee machine. Small deck outside allows you to relax with a beautiful view. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was a bonus.

Der Pool, die Rutsche und der Hotpool sind wirklich super. Auch die Lage ist spitze. Fernie hat uns gut gefallen.

Der Fahrstuhl ist leider defekt gewesen. Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr bieten.

The room was comfy. I enjoyed the waterslide. Nice to have a restaurant right in the hotel. It's on the edge of town but also next to the Elk River, so a good place for a short walk.

There were people stomping above us for over an hour, past 10:30 at night. Sounded like children. The breakfast used lots of disposable plastic; surely they could do better than create piles of waste like that.

Well kept family place. Full breakfast with omelette sausage and potatoes, yogurts, waffles, pancakes….take your pick. Water slide with hot tub. Good service. Great location.

Play pen was filthy. Crackers fell out when it was penned, visible stains everywhere. Cold shower.

Located a little out of town so nice and quiet. We were also fortunate enough to see a Moose and her babies opposite the accomodation. The staff were super friendly and helpful!!!

Excellent location - right next to Elk River and very close access to Mount Fernie Provincial Park for hiking and mountain biking.

The breakfast has improved since our previous visit. We enjoyed omelets with cheese, sausage patties and hash browns, along with offerings of juice, coffee/tea, yogurt, toast, waffles and pancakes. Thanks for adding some hot items, we appreciate it!

The toilets are a bit low, close to the floor. This has always bugged us a bit. But, toilets and bathrooms always spotlessly clean! Also - would be nice to have an ice machine on the 3rd floor.

Great value and location. The staff were lovely, so kind and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Gorgeous location and surprisingly great food at the in house restaurant. They also had an indoor pool with a giant water slide! They also had a game room and exercise room. Super fun. Staff was friendly. We had a unique surprise of one of those jacuzzi bathtubs in the living room 😂 had to walk upstairs for the bed which was ok but not for older folks or anyone who needed ada assistance.

The loft bedroom made you have to walk downstairs to the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was better than most.

The rooms were clean and well-lit. The swimming pool and hot tub were a great bonus, and the staff was friendly as well.

The quality and variety offered at breakfast did not feel like good value for money. I have stayed at Holiday Inn properties where breakfast is charged separately, yet the quality and service were far better. Either the breakfast standards should be significantly improved, or it may be better not to offer it at all in its current state.

The room was well made and pretty clean but not as clean as many other hotels we have been at.

The staff at the breakfast stand were extremely rude. Moreover the breakfast times are 7am to 10 am, but the staff started removing the food one hour before the breakfast end time. They were really rude and said that there is no breakfast even though we can at 9am, well before the end time.

Didn’t like the amount of plastic/non-reusable used in breakfast service, and the plastic/non-refillable shampoo/conditioner. The gym did not meet expectations. No soon bike or adequate weights or mobility/stretching equipment, no cleaning supplies to wipe off equipment.

The staff are all super nice, answer any questions and always smiling and willing to help. The restaurant has a great variety of choices, and the steak was tasty!

Dirty sheets and blankets, we found out when we were about to sleep and because it was late and no housekeeping available, we had to make our own beds to change the sheets and blankets. Terrible experience and I truly believe that housekeeping staff only change the sheets if they look bad enough to change them... terrible

This hotel was promising due to its location, indoor pool and pet friendly rooms.

Our family is quite comfortable in many types of hotels and don’t mind simpler setups. We were, however, absolutely horrified by the significant rat droppings, piles of dead flies and rodent trap in the pool and hall areas. If this is visible in high traffic places, what’s happening behind the scenes? We also had a strong smell of exhaust in our room as it faced the main road, and found dog food from previous guests on our floor. The people were kind, but our skin was crawling and we had to leave asap.

The breakfast was awful we travel alot and this was the worst we have ever had , there was a very limited choice of processed inedible food. The cutlery was plastic and wrapped in more plastic , the plates were either plastic or cardboard, I didn’t even know it was legal for a business to be so unsustainable. The coffee was bitter .

The three bed loft style room was awesome for our group.

Out room was right next to the highway, semis could be a little loud, if they had the speed at 60kms on the highway there it would be very helpful for the noise and for traffic coming off and on a very busy intersection there.

The room had lots of space, and the front desk staff was very lovely and welcoming. Having a pool, hot tub and sauna were great too. Lots of parking, and really close to the ski hill and beautiful river.

Not nearly enough seating in the breakfast room, and not enough amenities (a 25 minute wait for a waffle since only one machine). I also wish that the pathway into town was cleared in the winter so we could walk places safely and not only drive around.

This hotel is in a great location, perfectly in between town and the ski hill. We were able to walk to town for food and to check out the beautiful historic town core. It was maybe a 15 minute walk, with beautiful scenery all around. the 360• view of the mountains and right on the river were amazing. It was a perfect location for our ski trip and we fished on the river right infront of the hotel as well. Was a great experience! The staff are so friendly and attentive, we felt so welcomed on our arrival and throughout our stay.

Nothing, we can’t wait to stay again when we visit Fernie next.

Wonderful staff, great facilities, delicious restaurant. It was a great experience. I'd love to stay again if we go through Fernie. Excellent location, 3 minutes from the ski hill and 3 minutes from town but it has everything so we didn't have to leave the hotel for anything.

The only thing I noticed was there was no fan in the washroom. That is the only thing I can think to write as not so great

We really liked the pool and the waterslide. The kids had a great time. Having the restaurant available was great and the food selection was very diverse which we enjoyed. The arcade was a wonderful bonus, and our kids were delighted with this opportunity. The beds were comfortable, the balcony was a nice addition, the amenities in the room were sufficient. We loved that we could bring our dog, and we were close to a door for outside easy access.

We have nothing to declare that we did not like.
