We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist who welcomed and assisted us when we arrived—she was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. And lastly, the breakfast was so good! We really enjoyed it and it was a great way to start our day. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Make sure to specifically request a non-smoking room. Our first room smelled strongly of cigarettes, so we had to ask to be moved to another room.

We came, we slept we left./ Highlight was that the receptionist set my friend up with a good hairstylist on short notice.

Four beds, presumably up to four people and only one chair???? "Free" breakfasts were not very exciting. Real eggs would be a treat Why do hotels think that their rooms should be dark. A good fixture in the entre of the ceiling would do wonders!

Sometimes in life, you may simply find yourself looking for a little peace. The desire to disconnect, spend some quiet time, put your things down, and simply breathe for a moment. And, in my case, this hotel was exactly the solution I needed. I stayed in room 207, which was truly very spacious and pleasant. The bed was also of very good quality; after a long day, it was exactly what I needed to get a good night’s rest. The room was also very quiet, with excellent sound insulation, which made the stay particularly relaxing. Now, I do have to mention the view. 😅 Let’s just say I had a rather privileged view of… the hotel’s pole. 🫠 It may not have been the most spectacular view in Cochrane, but at least I wasn’t going to get distracted by the scenery! As for the price, I think the rate is quite reasonable for a hotel in Cochrane. It is worth acknowledging that staying in Cochrane can be more expensive than staying in Calgary, but when compared with the other hotels in the area, the price here remains very reasonable and the value for money is genuinely good. But above all, I want to talk about Jeff, because he is truly what made my stay particularly memorable. Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cochrane is officially a 2-star hotel. Yet one of the things that impressed me the most had absolutely nothing to do with the number of stars the hotel has: it was the quality of the welcome I received. And a large part of that is thanks to Jeff. I have rarely met someone like him, even in some of the most prestigious hotels I have stayed at. In certain high-end establishments, the service can be flawless on paper, but sometimes employees become so accustomed to the standards of the industry that they lose a little of their naturalness. Everything is executed perfectly, but some interactions can feel mechanical, almost rehearsed. With Jeff, it was completely different. He has something much rarer: a genuine naturalness in the way he interacts with guests. You can tell that he is not simply someone who is “doing his job.” He seems to genuinely care about the experience of the people he welcomes. His professionalism never comes at the expense of his humanity, and that is precisely what makes him so remarkable. Jeff has this ability to make you feel genuinely welcome without ever overdoing it. No forced enthusiasm, no scripted phrases, no feeling that you are simply another customer passing through. There is a sincerity in the way he carries himself that makes a real difference. And honestly, he is the kind of person you remember long after you have left the hotel. I also think that hotels sometimes underestimate just how much someone like Jeff can influence the overall experience of a stay. A room can be very comfortable, a hotel can be well located, and the facilities can be impeccable… but very often, it is the human interaction that makes a place truly memorable. And Jeff has exactly that quality. If the hotel’s management happens to read this review, I sincerely hope they understand the value of having someone like him on their team. Competent employees can be found. People who can properly follow procedures can be found as well. But people who combine professionalism, naturalness, kindness, and a genuine sense of humanity in the way Jeff does are much harder to find. To be honest, I find it almost ironic that an officially 2-star hotel could give me, on a human level, something that I have not always experienced in much more prestigious establishments. In the end, what I will remember is a spacious and comfortable room, excellent bedding, plenty of peace and quiet, a reasonable price for Cochrane… but above all, meeting someone who, in my opinion, represents what hospitality should truly be. Thank you, Jeff. And thank you to the entire team at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cochrane. Even with that breathtaking view of the hotel’s famous pole. 🫠😄

We stayed for 2 nights for a family event. I booked a double queen room and got a kitchenette which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was ok. Food wasn’t labeled so for someone that had an allergy to dairy I was very limited to what I could have. Loved how close everything was to trails and the bow river. That was the end of the good things. We were in room 209 which was right above the front lobby doors. So all we heard was doors opening all night. The beds were rock hard and so uncomfortable that my back was so sore after the 2 nights. The room was so muggy and humid and would take hours for the moisture to leave the bathroom even with the fan on. Our clothes were damp by the end of the stay due to how muggy it was. My husband and I were always congested and stuffed up while in the room. We are also pretty sure we saw mold in the bathroom and took pics and showed the front desk when we checked out and they didn’t seem to concerned and would mention it to the housekeeping staff. No apology and no compensation. For spending almost $800 for 2 nights I would expect better quality beds and no mold in my room.

After experiencing a terrible lack of professionalism at another local property, arriving here was a complete breath of fresh air.The staff members here are incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. This Tuesday morning, we were scheduled to change rooms due to high seasonal occupancy. However, Rommel went completely above and beyond for my family and our dogs. He manually rearranged the bookings behind his counter and told us: "Stay in the same room, we took care of everything, no need to move."This high-level operational flexibility completely eliminated our stress and allowed us to keep our perfect suite with a kitchen without any transition gap. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the customer service is truly top-tier. They genuinely care about professional travelers and families with pets.Thank you, Rommel, and thank you to the whole Days Inn Cochrane team! You have earned our absolute loyalty. Udvalget af morgenmad var fint. Lokalet var lille i forhold til hvor mange, der skulle have morgenmad, vi sad tæt.

I alle dage var vaskerummet ude af drift, kan have været tilfældigt, men da vi stod og havde behov for tøjvask ville det have været rart, hvis det blev ordnet.

Very unprofessional atmosphere—the staff members were constantly smoking right by the main entrance and felt like they were hanging out rather than working. On top of that, the rooms are very worn down and outdated, and the breakfast was low quality and completely artificial.

Très bon hôtel, bien situé pour visiter les alentours de Cochrane, la vallée de Kananaskis et même le parc National de Banff. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Super confortable, les chambres sont lumineuses, la literie est bonne, tout est pensé pour le bien-être des clients, il y a tout ce qu'il faut et même de petites attentions bien agréables. Lovely stay at the Days Inn. The staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was really good, always replenished. I missed the waffle/pancake maker though. The hotel has amazing trails around it and to the Bow River. Cochrane is a cute town with lots of shopping.

Very disappointing customer service after my stay. I contacted the hotel multiple times for an invoice, but my requests were ignored. They told me to contact Booking.com, even after I explained that the property is responsible for issuing the invoice. Booking.com also sent them a request, which was ignored. A simple invoice shouldn't be this difficult to obtain.

After my stay, I only received my invoice after following up several times.

I was quite disappointed with the overall condition of the property. I raised my concerns with the front desk, and while they did offer a $20 discount per room, it was only after I asked. Initially, I was told that the rate was already discounted through Booking.com. My concerns were focused around the condition of the pool which was one of the main reasons we chose the property. One of the pool ladders was broken, and an underwater light had come loose from the side of the pool and was hanging down, which raised concerns about maintenance and safety. I was also disappointed to find that the hot tub was out of service. After noticing these issues, I began paying closer attention to the rest of the property and found that the guest room itself could have been cleaner. Overall, the property did not meet the standard I was expecting.

Good choice of hot and cold buffet. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend.

My room was right above the lobby, so anytime the automatic doors opened in the lobby I can hear it and it did impact my sleep, lots of people leaving early in the morning.

I don't think I've ever written a review on Booking, but we had a great time staying here and wanted to let others know! The front desk and breakfast room staff were so friendly and helpful. I recall one lady was called Celine and there was a very friendly guy working most afternoons. Our 2 Queen room was a good size, it was well cleaned, it had a clear view of the parking lot, and the TV conveniently has Netflix and YouTube (rather than just cable). The rooms on the other side would have a lovely view of the park. There are lots of great walking paths alongside the river (which we frequented most days) and there is a nice stretch of grass which is dog park, giving the area a wholesome feeling. Their breakfast is one of few hotels that offers a hot breakfast alongside the continental breakfast. They put on a nice selection! There's also a hot drink station available all day (plus noodle boxes) which you rarely see in other hotels - that's a very nice touch. The area has several choices for places to eat when you are on the go (all within quick walking distance): Tim's, Dairy Queen, Subway, A&W. The Shire Pub is a fun little spot for a drink and they host events such as Music Bingo. Before this intersection, there is a Boston Pizza, a 7-Eleven and Esso gas station. Very convenient! We would definitely stay here again!

It's a basic hotel, but can't complain because I knew the value up front. The only thing is that the floor of the indoor pool is a very rough surface and my youngest daughter kept scraping her feet.

Had a great stay. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They let us upgrade to a mountain view room and even brought the keys up to us! Really enjoyed the breakfast and the outdoor hot tub!

I was down in Cochrane visiting family and have stayed at this hotel several times now and the experience has been consistently excellent. The front desk staff are all friendly and efficient at check in and out. The breakfast is quite good offering something for everyone from eggs , bacon, sausage. Several choices of cereal, pancakes, fruits , yogurts and a great selection of breads and bagels. My room was roomy clean and had a fridge and microwave which is always handy. Locatis great offering several restaurants and a Tim Hortons close by.

Staff is friendly and professional. Very quiet stay. Attractive view at back of hotel. Good parking for those with mobility issues. We will be happy to stay again. Heating system in room badly needs cleaning (unpleasant smell when heat turned on.) Breakfasts are adequate. Some good aspects such as the fresh fruit available.

Our Frenchie was very happy with this property and all the staff who took time to say hi. This property is outstanding and we stayed for 4 nights. Best hotel stay in a few years and we travel often.
