The view was stunning from the private room. Location is absolutely top notch. Very easy to check in. Steal for the money you are paying for this property.

Bathroom was smelling, had to air it out by keeping it open and leaving the exhaust on. Floor felt dirty. Shower wasn't great.

Stayed in a spacious and clean double room with great views of the beaches and coast. The cliff top location is perfect for access to Towan Beach and is near to the harbour and good eating options

Excellent views of the beach and the waves! Really central location with discounts on the bar downstairs and surf lessons/hire nearby. Super close to the beach. Really friendly staff with easy check in/out procedures and the property felt secure. Towels were provided and the room was a really nice size.

The shower was quite small.

Great proximity to the beach and lovely views. It would be better if there were 6 bedroom dorms. (same gender).

There are no laundry facilities and the dormitories could have fewer beds as only one toilet for potentially 10 people.

Amazing sea front view overlooking Towan beach and the harbour. Hearing the waves breaking as you fell asleep.

Dirty. In a 10 bed female dorm for 4 days and it wasn’t cleaned once and clearly hadn’t been cleaned prior to my arrival. The bin in the room was emptied and vacant beds made up but that was it. Floor and bathrooms not swept or mopped. Hair and sand and dirt everywhere. Sinks dirty and one shower not draining so you ending up standing in a pool of sandy water filled with other peoples hair. Grubby. No hooks or bench or shelving in tiny shower room to place anything. “Breakfast” was a day old croissant that had come out of the fridge, jam and Nutella, a boiled egg, breakfast bar, apple and juice box. The coffee was good and able to get refills. No common room, kitchen facilities.

Room wasn’t clean, bathroom had a bad smell, windows did not close, bed liner dirty with blood stains. they advertised as an hotel and it is an hostel, hallway smells and staff wasn’t very friendly

L’établissement est idéalement situé au sommet d’une falaise. Il dispose d’une terrasse offrant une belle vue sur la plage principale de NQ. Le bar est sympa, le Check in rapide et efficace et le rapport qualité prix excellent dans cette région hors de prix côté logement!

Les chambres et les sanitaires sont un peu défraîchis.

Bright room with a great view to the beach. Fairly basic room, with comfortable bed and ensuite. Quieter thsn I expected, given it seemed to be for people younger than us.had a beach hut vibe, but suited our requirements for the night. Friendly staff.Good hot shower.

I could have really done with a kitchen and fridge so I could kept food fresh and cook food whilst I was there.

Filthy! One of the worst hostels I have ever stayed at. The bathrooms were disgusting and only cleaned once during the entire 4 days that I was there.

Good location, a lot of space to take a seat.

I slept in my car. There was a rock band under the floor below my bed. I use noise cancelling headphones but the whole bed was vibrating. I know that that is a music venue, but there's a difference between a music venue and feeling like you're inside a speaker.

Table could do with clearing more glasses should be collected quicker as some where still in the same place 6 hours later coffee machine not working properly and one staff members not seeming to care that what people want in a morning and wasn't his problem basically didn't try to offer something else basically just had to go without

Enqyured 2 days before if we could leave bags from 1pm. No reply so brought them in but only paid locker available. Luckily 1 left Bar advertises happy hour until 7pm but wouldn't honour. Also pizza of the month didn't exist. Came down in morning to buy orange juice but told couldn't be done

Perfect location to explore newquay and fistral, view of the ocean from room. The balcony out front was a great spot. Clean facilities.

I checked in late and it felt a bit rushed and chaotic. There was not cooking/food storage facilities or communal areas (except the public bar area) which was strange for a hostel.

I loved that the property had a fantastic sea view and location. I loved how secure it was also. The staff were the nicest people I’ve ever met. Especially the guy on reception and Brad who invited us all out to karaoke. Everyone there is lovely and helpful, and genuinely so full of joy that it is contagious. I will be returning here in no time. Thank you for feeling like home, St Christopher’s!

Location is great, room was clean and the bathroom was inside the room, what is not very common in shared room hostels, it made the difference. Hostel bar is very nice.

Not really the hostel fault, but it was very hot and the room had no air con or fan.

Even hotel from inside was very suffocating.Room is very small as an excepted and suffocated.Fan was not working properly then I requested to change but staff was ignored.No proper breakfast buffet.we left one day earlier because we felt very hot and my husband can’t bear this much heat .

This was a filthy, disgusting experience. The room was nowhere near big enough for six beds. The bathroom cubicle was too small to stand in. The toilet seat was loose. The washbasin was grimy. The fitted sheet on my bed was Sandy and had obviously not been changed. The shower tray had a thick layer of sand that got thicket each day. The room was unbearably hot. It was impossible to see the floor due to the huge quantities of clothing dropped by the other occupant. One couple slept together each night in one single bunk bed, with much petting and giggling. This left one bed empty, though piled high with clothing, but on the third night it was also occupied, making seven in the room, no doubt in properly admitted. I have been using hostels for 65 years and this was by far the worst I have experienced

We paid for a private room with ensuite as too old for dorm room/bunk beds :) Room/towels/bedding was clean, shower hot and had an amazing view of the towan beach. Staff were fab and super friendly on arrival, there is a clever door unlocking system and no need for a key card. The Belushi's bar has a great balcony and food/drinks deals for guests. We would definitely stay again as its also such a convenient location.

I can see they tried with the included continental breakfast but it was poor and we aren't fussy. The tea/coffee made by friendly barman was nice though. Maybe better if they offered a discount/voucher to a local cafe or something as its not actually open at breakfast time.

Avevo la camera privata. Piccola ma carina ,provvista di tutto ,con tea, caffè, smart TV con streaming. E soprattutto bellissima la vista dalla stanza sulla spiaggia. Ottima la posizione con locali appena esci in strada

Non ci sono aree comuni, il bar di sotto ha un ottima vista sulla spiaggia ma non organizza niente per gli ospiti si potrebbe puntare un po' di più sulla socializzazione visto che é un ostello.

It was in a great area, staff were very helpful. Close to shops, bars and the beach. The room had amazing views.

Breakfast wasn’t quite what we expected for a continental. We thought there would be a selection of things like pastries/cold meats/some cereal/a selection of fruit ect. Unfortunately it was given in a paper bag and was only a croissant, apple, hard boiled egg and a breakfast bar. It was fine just not expected when paying extra for a breakfast lol. We would definitely stay here again but may skip the breakfast option and go get a proper one else where. Still an amazing hostel and everything else was wonderful.

Wer wir wie das erste mal auf das Hotel zuläuft denkt sich, oh oh, was habe ich da nur gebucht. Bin ich nicht zu alt dafür. Was für ein Loch erwartet mich jetzt? ABER typisch vorurteile! Netter Empfang, Zimmer unter dem Dach, sehr groß, sauber und wunderschönen Blick über die Bucht. Die Stadt am Sonntag sehr voll und laut, die Nacht jedoch dann ruhig und am nächsten Tag war das Dorf regelrecht verschlafen. Einfaches intercontinentales Frühstück im Papierbeutel bekommen, dazu frisch gebrühten Tee, wir durften draußen Frühstücken. Am Ende gab es vom freundlichen Barkeeper sogar noch Empfehlungen was man in der Gegend alles ansehen sollte.

Etwas schwer zu finden, Einbahnstraße davor, Beschilderung des Hotels schwer zu sehen, vor lauter Surfschulen-, Pub- und anderer Werbung bzw. Schildern.. Keine eigenen Parkplätze, aber öffentliche Parkplätze werden empfohlen, Tarife sehr günstig. zu den Zimmern im Dachgeschoß sehr enges Treppe, mit großen Gepäck eine Herausforderung.

The shower room too small.

The location is amazing.

The room was not clean, and housekeeping did not clean it on the previous day. When I asked the cleaners why it had been skipped, they said that because the rooms are mixed, they cannot always enter. However, I don’t think this is a valid excuse. Guests should receive the clean room, regardless of the room arrangement. This was disappointing and affected the overall experience.

Stuff unhelpfull. Been located in a room with no open windows, despite 40 degree inside. After multiple requests,, been re-located to different room. Been advised to book directly next time, not via booking.com, when I can expect something better...

Picky as it may be, and only a small one but the outside of the windows were really dirty, with the view (which was amazing) it obscured it a little. Not a deal breaker at all. The place and staff were epic

The location was great

There were no faciliries for cooking, heating food or even a kettle available for guests despite the online chat saying there was. No communal areas (living/chill space), acceptthe resturant/bar downstairs that had loud music playing. The continental breakfast that was advertised when booking isnt offered anymore.

It’s close to everything in Newquay . Josh got me all sorted after moving a few things around . Because I was going out for 11am . So he let me check in earlier than normal. Thanks again

Bed linens everythong was clean but room was bit smelly no aiir freshmer or nothing has been used. We booked BB , BF was very unsatisfied it was only a crossiant with ham and cheese , snack bar , nolied egg and an apple that also not served to one and also everything served very cold. No drinks nothing has offered until we request , Overall poor service in the .mornimg and property smell should be more concerned.

I like the proximity to the sea as they resulted into waking up with excellent view. The gentlemen downstairs Adam and Brad were so welcoming as well!

One of the showers was a moulding and you were able to smell it, I mean it is a hostel not like a 5 star hotel or anything but yeah that's my take that made things a bit uncomfortable for me but I could look past it.
