I loved the balcony and being able to look at the ocean

I didn't like the pet policy, the lack of not telling me until I got there that pets cost extra PER night, and wasn't disclosed while I was booking online. I chose this hotel because it was close to all the activities I had planned for my kiddos birthday. Couldn't do 90% of it because of their policies and for the price of the stay, I chose that hotel because it said pet friendly but they are absolutely not pet friendly. Ended up having to stay in our room with the dog instead of leaving the dog for human only activities as planned. Maybe be more upfront in costs and policies so people can make informed decisions instead of feeling pressured when they get there to spend more than budgeted on.

I was very disappointed that I paid $300 per night and had to request room service! The least that should automatically be done is fresh towels and trash removal! Really!!!!

The beds are very high! It takes some effort to "climb" up to the bed. Definitely not good for small kids. The ceiling fan was wobbling as it spun, and it looked like it was about to fall, which was scary.　　The coffee maker didn't work.

Please update your wifi. The connection was not the greatest. Also maybe consider a hot food buffet. I heard several comments about how the continental items were disappointing to guests.

Ideal location. Nice looking interior but needs better upkeep (cracked bathroom tiles, wobbly balcony railing (rm 318), chipped tub. Nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the salmon chowder at 5pm and cookies at 7pm. Not sure how often the cleaning staff is supposed to come in because they didn’t come during our 2 night stay and it would’ve been nice to have the trash taken out. Unfortunately the 2 days we stayed the fire pits and pool were out of commission and were 2 of the big reasons we booked this hotel.

Amazing location, great amenities! Super friendly staff.

We had 4 guests, only were provided 2 towels and 3 pillows. No bedding for the pullout couch, we had to call down at night. Just little things that would’ve been nice if provided ahead of time.

I really enjoyed the oceanfront rooms and decks. Clean and very comfortable rooms. And whoever ordered up the beautiful weather, great job.

It was great view. Parking if you have a truck is difficult but not hard to manage.

It's right on the ocean, has a nice hot tub and pool area as well as fireside terrace. There's ample parking and getting down to the beach is a block away

I wish it was clear before I booked that we could not leave our dog alone in the room while we were getting dinner. This was not prominently displayed on their website and booking.com. My moms in her 70's and found the beds hard to get into as their so tall

Stayed at this hotel while on vacation and I will not do it again. For the price you pay I would think they would have a better breakfast selection other than packaged muffins and waffles. Maybe some eggs and bacon or sausage. Went down to the hot tub several times and 5-6 kids were in at all times. They should set aside some time for just adults to use it. Also the free clam chowder they have in the evening was gross. The only thing good I can say is they have good cookies. Will not stay at a Choice Hotel again.

Great location and the staff were on top of it every morning to make sure the coffee was fresh. There was also delicious complementary salmon chowder every night.

Pet friendly. Pristine hotel room and smelled fresh (hard to find real clean in a pet friendly hotel). Amazing water pressure in shower (a hard to find anywhere). Beds were comfy but pillows. Could be better. Also, there were no extra blankets nor pillows in the closet which was a bummer. Gas fireplace was a special touch. Direct sunset views. Beach went for miles. We will absolutely be back.

Wonderful location. Awesome service by the front desk. Rooms very clean, bright and well maintained! The atmosphere was relaxing and refreshing. We actually extended an extra night !

I love the fireplace and balcony overlooking the ocean w/ microwave and fridge in big bed and lots of pillows and beautiful pictures on the wall, loved the ceiling fan.

We had no room phone to call the front desk, our fridge didn't work so everything was warm inside of it when we went down and let the front desk know they sent the handyman up to look at it and he told us there was nothing he could do about it and especially when we let him know that we didn't have a phone he said it was because they're working on the rooms and he left. You could tell the room hasn't been vacuumed in a very long time dirt everywhere the bathroom wasn't swept out we were just praying that the sheets were clean at this point. Went swimming and it smelled so bad when you walked in the double doors it was nasty and trash everywhere was not cleaned. The next morning before check out the doors were supposed to open at 8:00 for swimming and spa and they didn't open until 8:30 and there was a couple groups of us waiting outside you could tell they didn't clean the pool and the trash was still piled up nothing had been cleaned swept or vacuumed very gross as obviously their housekeepers are not doing their job let alone the handyman brings the value of this what could be very beautiful hotel down. Also was led online with a hot Continental breakfast just to show up to have cold cereal and a few other things that was disappointing.

This was by far the best hotel we've ever stayed at. Right on the beach with beach views right out the window, fireplace in the room, loved the amenity of also having the fire pits and sandy areas by the pool. We didn't walk anywhere except the beach, but when we were looking at distances there was a lot within walking distance! The front desk staff was super kind and accommodating. I cannot say enough about our experience at the Elizabeth. We can't wait for our next visit.

This was our 5th time staying here. Always a relaxing experience. All employees are very friendly, professional and helpful. We love the location and beautiful sunsets. We look forward to coming back soon.

The stay was pretty good. I will say we wish there was a better variety of food options for complimentary breakfast. There needs to be locks on the back patio doors in the rooms, I had to ask for a wooden bar - I have young children who could’ve climbed on those patio chairs and fallen over the patio. I also think there should be more frequent room cleans unless DND sign not posted on the door.. as most people are busy while visiting and don’t always remember to schedule a cleaning during the scheduling window. The beds also don’t have any mattress protectors on them… only sheets which is a little unsanitary. The only thing we noticed was a washable thick blanket but it didn’t even cover the whole mattress .

We loved the hotel and location. Definitely would have given five stars, however your low hanging concrete bars above the entrance and exit of the parking garage damaged the rental car I had. And now I have to pay them $650 deposit and file a claim with my insurance. WHAT is the purpose of those bars??

Nice room overlooking the beach. Parking was easy. The staff were very friendly. The free treats in reception at different times of the day was a nice touch. Overall, a decent place in a stunning location

The lock on the door to our balcony was broken, but very inaccessible so didn’t make us feel unsafe. The hotel is probably in need of a freshen up, but felt clean so not a major issue.

Location was great. Room was spacious and clean. Hot breakfast would have been nice. Staff was attentive. Only complaint was price. After checking in and looking on line, I saw our room in the same time frame for $100/DAY less than we were paying. Price we paid felt high for what we got.

The pool was echoing and loud with a bunch of kids. We tried to relax after hiking and a long travel day. It was not relaxing or enjoyable

Our stay at the Ocean Inn was a wonderful coastal stop on our road trip featuring ocean views and direct beach access. Waking up and looking out at the scenery was breathtaking. Walkable to nearby dining. Includes convenient on-site parking. They also have a laundry room and pool on site.

Breakfast was OK and did the job, but no hot options. The interior is dated, but the location and price point provide good value.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a clean property and we had a lovely view of the ocean.

Paying over 500$ a night and being promised breakfast, we got bagels etc that were wrapped in plastic, with no toaster oven even. When asked, they said just heat it in the microwave in your room. Property was fine but the pricing was absolute rip-off and that too without promised breakfast. Giving bagel in plastic wrapper is NOT breakfast!

The view from a $450/night room was something from a steampunk movie. Rust everywhere. Couldn't enjoy the sunset. Will not come back.

Enjoyed the hospitality and all the amenities! Rooms were clean and very up to date. The only area I would suggest for improvement is a bigger seating area for breakfast.

Seems nitpicking but room was small but adequate for our needs. We did hope for better breakfast options and the water pressure was weak at best.

$486 view thru bird poop. Bird poop had been there quite a while, you could tell. Photos don’t really show how gross it was. There was also no shower curtain in the shower. Other than that the room was nice, bed was great and the room was clean. There were only 2 very small!! trash cans in the entire hotel room. Almost a joke how small they were.

Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice. The view of the ocean was fantastic. The daily salmon chowder was delicious at 5PM.

Proximity to beach and start of Newport Marathon. King bed is high off floor which is great! View of ocean from room and balcony are fantastic.

While worth it, tends to be a little more expensive than other hotels with a more robust breakfast options.

This place was great I loved their property the pool was awesome and the fire pits were great short was to the beach and the room was so comfortable and set up perfectly for us.

They didn’t really offer breakfast it was just some packaged stuff but the night before they did have chowder that we didn’t try but heard was good and chocolate chip cookies that we did get and were good.

My room had an amazing view! I could open the sliding glass door to hear the ocean and the view was fantastic!

The hot tub is lukewarm. So disappointing.

I liked the cleanliness and the facilities, and it was great that there was enough parking. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I also liked the spa, and the pool environment was warm, which made it comfortable to be there while it was very cold outside. Mmm, and they had two elevators up and running

..If they had a dining room available and maybe a more complete breakfast option, it would be amazing!

Loved the extremely comfortable two king beds, the fireplace, and the balcony overlooking the ocean. Hotel staff were so kind and informative.

PARKING only 1 handicap spot at main level, 4 in lower level ( and 3 of those had "poles" in them, ALL handicap spots should be at main level.

The room was not functional at all. The beds were very high to begin with. My mom who is five feet tall had to climb onto a chair to get on the bed. The balcony to the ocean had cracks making it dangerous for us to step out and enjoy the view. The glass doors were dirty. The breakfast was cold packaged food. Hot water for tea was always like warm.

I had an ocean view room on the third floor! It was perfect! It had a balcony with chairs and a little table. The most comfortable bed away from home! It had. A fireplace that would have been cozy in the winter. I didn't go to the hottub love this recreation area! And ofcourse they have the Accend smoked salmon chowder at night. Sadly I missed breakfast which is included! I don't have a bad thing to say! Thank you! I will be back!

The location is very convenient. The beds and inside the actual room were very nice and clean. The balcony view was spectacular.

It really wasn't the greatest for 330 plus dollars a night. The pool and jacuzzi were filled with sand. The ceilings in the pool room were peeling off. The outside deck with the fire pits looks fabulous online, but in person looks like they were 80 years old . Everything looks like it needs to be upgraded and remodeled . We stayed two nights housekeeping was non-existent during that time. No extra towels or trash cans. I wouldn't stay again for that price.

Pool was nice and warm and the hot tub hot. Always look forward to the free claim chowder and of course the view of the ocean hearing the waves is priceless ♥️♥️♥️

Wonderful stay, and the staff were lovely, welcoming, and helpful.

I thought the staff was excellent. They were always friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful and responsive. The room was very nice and I liked the layout with the double sinks outside of the bathroom. I loved having an ocean view. I have been there before and will definitely come back when I am in the area.

We liked our view the best! The girls took amazing sunset pics right off our balcony.
