The clean bathroom

The room was dirty and stained bedding. I caught a rash from you bedding and has had to seak medical care .The staff was rude, and didn’t provide clean towels.

It's clean and the shower was great,it's a bit dated and the rooms look tired.but for an overnight or two it's fine,the staff are always friendly and happy to help, Kelly the receptionist and bar host was exceptionally helpful.

You cannot argue with the value for money at this hotel. Everywhere was clean and maintained, staff at reception and the bar were friendly and it is ideally located if you are off to the football.

As you approach up the drive the building itself is not easy on the eye and during our stay had a boarding up, which I think was temporary.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Bed springs were poking me all night. Awful sleep.

Kelly the barmaid was great,the reception staff where really helpful.

CONVENIENCE ! The staff were quite nice n the room was satisfactory EXCEPT for the following ; The carpet edges were dirty and obviously had not been cleaned ( for some time due to the amount of dust and cobwebs,The pedestal to the small table was filthy with approx 3mm of dust ! ) There was no plug for the washbasin. one of the bedside lights did not work !

Noisy next door guests kept me awake till 3.40am then next day early hours 2.30 am noisy.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The staff was always very attentive, friendly, and courteous throughout our entire stay.

The hotel is very old and definitely needs renovations. Our air conditioning wasn’t working, and the breakfast had very few options.

The breakfast was ok good value apart from hardly cooked hash browns. The beer was ok from the bar and you could take it back to the room thankfully. Also the lady serving breakfast etc very helpful and attentive

Very outdated rooms in desperate need of refurb stopped in twin room, two single beds. Clean ish overall, repairs look like they have been done by a 5 yr old. Room smelt damp and stale, told reception day staff they apologised and noted it. In room 17 but I had two very inconsiderate drunks with dogs next door in room 18. I had driven nearly 300 miles that day so needed a decent sleep and had another hundred odd to the following day. They were shouting at each still at 2330hrs and beyond with the dogs constantly barking, I told reception and asked to be moved rooms but apparently they were fully booked, found this hard to believe baring in mind the state of the rooms. I asked if they had any ear plugs but nope and they offered very little assistance or solutions and didn't even go to next door to tell them to be considerste to others. The next thing me and my 14 Yr old son knew the police were at room 18 because the man had assaulted the women punching her and she had called the police, again reception did nothing. Maybe this could have been avoided if reception had bothered their arse to speak to them. So yes we heard all this through the flimsy seperating room door. The police finally left about 0200 hrs and we finally had a chance to get some sleep, que being woke up then before 7 am with you guessed it, room 18s dog barking. The owner probably drunk in her bed and doing nothing about it. We told reception and I said maybe due to last night's incident they should check on her in case she had done something to herself as we didn't hear her, and the dog was constant barking for 40 minutes, they just looked like they didn't understand and did nothing. They didn't even know about the incident in the night as they didn't get told. In my opinion that's really poor communication. They did offer me a complimentary late check out which was a waste of time as how was I going to get back to sleep with the dog barking next door.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, room was quiet, facilities great, staff friendly and helpful.

Only issue was the bed, hard, could feel the springs through the mattress, didn't get a great sleep really.

I feel compelled to write a review as when I booked I noticed a whole host of negative reviews for varying reasons. Firstly, I wanted to comment on the fact the hotel is a budget hotel and that’s exactly what it is, and for some of us that’s all we need. I stayed with my son (3) as we were visiting relatives nearby. Upon checking in we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who explained what we needed to know. When I got to the room I noticed part of the door chain was missing and therefore couldn’t be used. I rang the receptionist and he sorted this immediately for us, he even said the comfort of guests is important. Obviously travelling with a small child you need that extra peace of mind, and the staff certainly made that happen. On the second night there was entertainment and a nice atmosphere, of course we didn’t stick around for long as my child was tired. Overall I was really happy with the stay, budget friendly and easy to use. I didn’t notice any issues with noise or unpleasant behaviour. Yes it’s rough around the edges but it works and we had a decent nights sleep.

Took me over an hour at almost midnight to get staff to help me when there was consistent disturbance from multiple people in the same group of rooms opposite me who were repeatedly slamming doors and making so much noise they woke me and my daughter up from our sleep and staff even witnessed it and did nothing. I was very annoyed at the level (or lack of) support that was given when it became hostile. The doors slammed so loud it was impossible to sleep through with doors being slammed every couple of minutes for an entire hour after I had already told them they had woke me up and I had to be up at 5am. Staff did not assist for an hour after me calling reception multiple times for help. I asked to make a complaint and was told I couldnt because the manager wasnt there and to phone at a later date. I also asked for a refund for the night of no/consistantly disturbed sleep and was told they couldnt do that either. I also requested bath towels big enough for an adult instead of the ones provided that would struggle to fit around a small child and was also told they do not have any. Overall, I felt extremely disappointed.

Very easy check in. Staff we came across were all friendly. Room was clean. Beds comfortable.

Our hallway did smell of cigarette smoke even though it said no smoking allowed. Guests slamming doors at all times. Water in the shower never got hot enough.

The fact that it was close to the sea

The place had a cigarette smell The toilet was filthy, I called the manager and said I would clean the toilet but the brush was dirty as well, he told me it's a toilet brush it's supposed to be dirty😏 The next day he sent someone to clean the toilet and put a new brush I was booked for 2 nights I only stayed one night and left I am very unhappy that I spent 128 and disnt stay my time
