- Great location right at the metro station line 1 and main railway station - Very nice pleasant lobby - Nice design of the room - Good bathroom and the shower - Love the automatic curtains mode - There's an ok solid gym

- Staff is sometimes very slow at the reception - Concierge and welcoming staff at the entrance isn't that welcoming at all... - It's a bit confusing to get to the gym but do ask the staff at the concierge - They take 2000Y for deposit which I haven't experienced in a very long time for hotels at this level and famous chain - Poor english of staff but this is sadly kinda everywhere in China

这次旅行我们住在上海静安铂尔曼酒店一个礼拜，最打动我们地段静安核心，却像把全城交通握在手里，步行到上海站、地铁口几乎不用过马路，步行下楼梯到1/3/4号线随换随走，去南京路逛街、静安寺、人民广场/外滩看夜景都很顺。周边苏河湾、大悦城、来福士也在不远处，吃饭购物不愁。 进入大堂有种铂尔曼那种现代又沉稳的家庭、团队旅行气氛，或者出差商务感也拉满，房间通透、床品舒服、隔音在线，临近车站却不吵；前台和礼宾响应快，特别表扬礼宾部每天给我们收发快递，快递还送房间，服务各方面非常满意。早餐在一楼餐厅品种齐全、服务员补餐及时，泳池健身也能消除全身疲劳感。选择这家酒店准没错，下次来上海还会选这里。

Internationale Hotelkette mit guter Reputation. Lage (direkt am Shanghai Station) ist sehr gut. Check-in und check-out problemlos. Frühstück sehr umfangreich und lecker.

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war nicht ganz tadellos. Hat auch damit etwas zu tun, dass das Hotel bereits in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Betten waren extrem hart (dies wurde dann in der zweiten Nacht mit einer extra Unterlage behoben - Danke dafür).

We really enjoyed our stay in hotel Pullman jing’an. The personel was very friendly, the hotel breakfast was very good and had a great variety. The rooms were really big and cleaned everyday.

The room was lovely and the location fantastic! So easy to get around with the Shanghai Station just across the road. Close to the optical mall and the the mobile phone and accessories mall. Lot's to see and do in the area.

Very clean

Location was excellent for everything we wanted to do whilst we were there. Great breakfast each morning to start the day and great service each and every day from everyone. A special shout out to Allan for sorting so much out for us before we even got there such as our transfers to Disneyland and more importantly brilliant tickets to the football game on the Saturday which I was unable to book being in the UK, then paid for them when we arrived. Whilst there throughout the trip Allan was always the go to for anything else we needed to enquire about or just general information to make our planning run smoothly. Overall, a great hotel, in a great city, with great service and people.

All was fine across the board as stated above.

Genuinely exceeded my expectations with metro station being right next to the hotel (as soon as you exit, turn left and in less than a minute is an entrance into the station). Breakfast was great with a variety of food options including Western and Asian delicacies. Really enjoyed my stay here and would 100% book it again!

The location was amazing, with the subway entrance right in front of the hotel lobby. The railway station is also within walking distance.

The corner room we were given was next to the rooftop access, so there was some concerns regarding privacy, as the toilet blinds could not be fully closed.

It was stated that payment for the rooms are available at check in. However the hotel tried to charge the stay before my check-in. Bank blocked this transaction as suspicious and after that the hotel cancelled the booking without any attempts to contact me Service in the lobby restaurant is very slow, you will have to wait 30-45 minutes to get served. Surprisingly the same dish or drink may be prepared differently the other day. Lobby bar lacks any kind on sparkling wine - tried to order several times but they say they don't have it now. Surprisingly you cannot charge services to your room (lobby bar, lobby restaurant, swimming pool) - seems like there are several independent companies within one hotel And yes - they have security deposit when you check-in!

Our executive suites were really big and quiet and fitted our family very well (2 rooms for 2 adult and 3 kids). Breakfast was good and plentiful. Housekeeping was very good and friendly. Location for day trips on the train from Shanghai as well as metro access was very good.

Breakfast area was small. Executive lounge was also very small. Service wasn’t so good, staff at breakfast and lounge just didn’t look happy, any question was one question too much. I also hated the AI room service reception, it was frustrating. Executive lounge happy hour lacked food, nothing was replenished and the staff just couldn’t wait for us to leave.

Very good location, right next to the metro station and near the city center. Even taking a DiDi when there’s no traffic makes it easy to get around. The breakfast has many options and was very good. The staff is very friendly and efficient, and the gym is very well equipped.

The room lacks natural light as well as light from the lamps.

It was in a good location, with a very nice breakfast offering both European and Asian options. The gym was decent, and the steam room was quite good as well.

The rooms are a little tired. Most of the interior panels are made from shiny plastic, which looks good in the photos but feels quite cheap in reality. The pool is also too small for a hotel of this size and was constantly crowded. The bathroom had mould in several areas and needs to be cleaned properly.

Het personeel kan niet allemaal even goed Engels. In het zwembad wordt ook zwemles gegeven, soort privélessen, waardoor je niet echt kan chillen in het zwembad, maar alleen baantjes kan zwemmen.

No air-conditioning in the lobby and the gym! Almost passed out working out in a ‘sauna’… 🥵 Room air-conditioning not adjustable, either off or high mode. When set to low fan, it’ll jump to high automatically, cold air would blast on my head while sleeping.

I’ve visited Shanghai many times and often find myself coming back to the Pullman in Jing’an. It’s a very comfortable and well-run hotel, with excellent facilities and a great location. The staff are always attentive, friendly and genuinely helpful. A special mention to Allan at the concierge, who was particularly helpful during my stay and really went out of his way to assist whenever needed. The gym and other hotel facilities are excellent, and the location is another big plus. It’s close to Suzhou Creek, which is perfect if you enjoy going for a walk or a run, while still being conveniently located for getting around Shanghai. Overall, I’ve consistently had a great experience here. With the combination of good facilities, excellent service and a convenient location, it has become one of my go-to hotels whenever I’m in Shanghai.

Amazing staff , super friendly and helpful with all our requests, including early check in as we arrived after 15 hours long train journey. The staff also helped our daughter with Taobao purchase, that was really exceptional!

Poor ventilation at the pool - it was difficult to stay there if you were not swimming

El kedel defekt, stol beskidt. Meget slidte værelser, samt meget beskidt, teske under bordet fjernet først efter 3 dage, osv. Man bliver træt af at klage, over for personalet der ikke kan snakke engelsk. Hotellet er ikke pengene værd.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était bon, avec un choix satisfaisant. Le seul point négatif concerne la piscine. Elle est davantage adaptée à la natation qu'à la détente, et le port du bonnet de bain est obligatoire. Si vous recherchez un espace pour vous relaxer, cela peut être un peu décevant.

Achei ruim a proximidade com a estação de trem. Tivemos um problema ao chegar porque nossa reserva foi cancelada e como estávamos sem acesso aos emails, estávamos em transito, soubemos somente quando chegamos para fazer o check in. A reserva foi cancelada porque estava em meu nome e o cartão de crédito em nome do meu marido, o qual foi utilizado posteriormente para pagar o hotel. Conseguimos depois de um tempo, um quarto mas não era o que fizemos a reserva. Nunca tínhamos passado por isso, sendo que sempre usamos a mesma forma para reserva.

The property is strong 4 star hotel, not 5. Breakfast area is too small. The whole hotel is just too dark. The staff are helpful, but from another side they are very obsessive and annoyingly asking you to leave a good review, I find it inappropriate and not matching a 5 start hotel vibe at all.

I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but Ryan Huang, the manager who assisted me at check-in, is honestly one of the best hotel professionals I’ve ever met. His kindness alone was outstanding, but what impressed me even more was how attentive he was to every little detail. The level of service and genuine hospitality I received at Pullman Shanghai Jing An was even better than what I’ve experienced at much more expensive five-star hotels near the Bund. Every interaction felt sincere rather than scripted, and that made all the difference. Without a doubt, this was some of the best hotel service I’ve ever experienced. This was a girls’ trip to celebrate my friend’s birthday, so we had quite many requests throughout our stay. Even so, Ryan took care of everything from A to Z with genuine patience and professionalism. Thanks to him, we have such wonderful memories of both the hotel and our time in Shanghai. I’d also like to thank Nicholas, Allan, and the rest of the hotel staff. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Their excellent hospitality is one of the main reasons I’ll definitely choose Pullman Shanghai Jing An again on my next visit to Shanghai. Room: We originally booked an Executive Suite, but after mentioning that we were celebrating a birthday, we were kindly upgraded to the CEO Suite. It was quiet, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable that it was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city.

What could be improved? Literally nothing. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience. Thank you to everyone at Pullman Shanghai Jing An for making our trip so memorable. I can’t wait to come back.

This was my second stay at this hotel this year. The hotel, its location, and the staff were excellent, as always. This time, flights were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and a typhoon. Even in this situation, the staff were very helpful in every way. I especially want to thank Ms. Beverly at the reception. She deserves the highest praise for her support and guidance during this process. Thank you for everything.
