I went during low seasons and the facilities were all mostly available. The staff was really friendly and the room i stayed was clean and modern

Since it was during low season the place was a little empty and the spa wasn't open. But that's not exactly their fault

First, I would like to thank Johanne and her team for welcoming us so warmly and taking care of everything we needed. You could really tell that everything was done with genuine care. My daughters absolutely loved the hotel staff and were so happy to receive the gift at the end of our stay. The room was clean and tidy, we received a fresh fruit platter, and the beds and linens were clean and cozy. There are plenty of pools at the hotel, including one with a waterslide that the girls really enjoyed. We will definitely be back! Finally, thank you so much to the Holiday Inn chain for the great service and professional staff!! Michael A

The staff, I enjoyed the activities that were also planned by the place.

The room did not have bunk beds for the kids and that there was a log of Lizard-like animals in the room all the time. Running into a big Ingwana

La cena ottima, vale assolutamente la pena optare per la mezza pensione. La cena non è a buffet, ma alla carte e ogni piatto è veramente ben preparato, un livello di cucina molto più alto di quello che si trova fuori nei ristoranti di strada, bravo lo chef ! Anche la colazione molto opzioni e tutto buono !

I had booked a standard double room and upon arrival they mentioned that all double rooms are full and gave me a villa on ground floor which was not my requirement. Swimming pool was not so clean compared to the property in Patong where I stayed earlier.

The room got upgraded , which was spacious and fit for my family. Beach is cross the road .

This is truly home away from home. Staff are just amazing (esp MJ, Ning & Joanne). Always helpful and caring for every little detail 24/7. Pool parties are great, kids club is advanced with PlayStation and lots of activities for kids such as surf classes, bingo & karaoke nights.Food is awesome with variety. Massage therapist name Namtan was best masseuse I ever had.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort Karon Beach and would highly recommend it, especially for families travelling with children. A special and heartfelt thank you to Manager Kung, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay. Our flight was late at night, and Manager Kung went above and beyond to assist us with a late check-out, which made our final day so much more comfortable and stress-free. He also kindly arranged complimentary drinks for us and ice cream for our children, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. These personal touches truly made us feel valued and welcomed. One of the biggest highlights for our children was the Kids Club. A very special thank you to Mai and Mint, who were absolutely wonderful with our kids. They kept them engaged with different fun and creative activities, were extremely friendly and caring, and made sure the children had a fantastic time. Our kids genuinely enjoyed spending time with them, and it was wonderful to see how comfortable and happy they were. The Kids Club itself is excellent, with a PlayStation and a great variety of activities for children. It is definitely one of the reasons I would recommend this resort to other families. The entire staff were fantastic — friendly, polite, professional, and always willing to help. Their warm and supportive service really made a difference to our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday at Holiday Inn Resort Karon Beach. Manager Kung, Mai, Mint, and the entire team deserve a big thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. Старый отель, старый номерной фонд и грязные номера, грязные бассейны с песком на дне и вода не свежая, завтраки на твердую 3, расположение у него не самое лучшее. Из 5 отелей в этом отпуске этот был самый худший.

Probably nothing other than the location.

Hotel needs MAJOR renovation. It is very old. Kids Pool stair is very rusty. Breakfast & Cleaning service is below average. Many other things I didn’t like but not willing to mention everything, I just hope they do some renovations ASAP.

Pool water temperature was too high. The water slide was out of order. Road in front of the hotel to busy, not easy to cross with children.

, I am writing to share my disappointment with my recent stay. The swimming pool water was extremely dirty throughout our four night stay, and we could not use it even once. The condition of the pool was unacceptable and honestly concerning for health and skin safety, especially for children. On top of that, service was consistently slow. Staff often arrived very late when called. Given that a clean pool and timely service are basic resort standards, this was very disappointing. I hope you address these issues urgently, so future guests don't have the same experience. Sincerely,

Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with toiletries supplied (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion included), towels, linen supplied & bath robes. Bottled water provided everyday, tea/coffee & room service. 3 areas with large pools for swimming and one with a water slide for the kids. Spa and Fitness centre on site. Continental buffet breakfast and just about 5-10 minute walk to nearest cafe/bar and Karon local shops. 7Eleven & Pharmacy down the road. Directly across from the beach about 5 minute walk and about 15 minutes drive to Patong Shopping Centre. The staff were very courteous and always ready to help.

No iron in the room but this seems to be across Thailand resorts. Clothes can be taken down the road to be laundered. No clothes racks for drying wet clothes but staff brought one over for us (would be good to have one on balconies for guests to use). Two clothes hooks on the back of the bathroom door would be useful. Organise enough staff to facilitate peak hour times at the pool bar to accommodate for numbers/orders reducing wait times.

What a beautiful hotel, perfectly located between mountain and sea. Rooms were very beautiful. Me and my family loved the stay.

The room and the bed errs the most comfortable. The staff is just awesome from the reception manager Joanne who really rocked to the others MJ & Remi. Food is great. Pool is big. Lots of activities for the kids at the kids club with Ning who runs the staff gracefully. They accommodate all of our needs without delay. Highly recommend.

Stuff are good

Building very old AC doesn't work properly in most of the rooms. Had to change 4 rooms while staying there till finally get a room that has good AC. The staff is very helpful but they can't do much since the building is very old

The resort was extremely well managed with great service-minded personnel from management to cleaning staff. Everything was very guest friend orientated with focus on the guests’ experience. We liked it so much, so we extended our stay by a couple of days, which was not our first intention. The resort upgraded our room throughout the stay, which was not expected at all. And the breakfast was outstanding.Thank you!

Kinda quiet place

Generally all facilities are too old, The children’s playground injured my daughter’s hand, which was very disappointing. On top of that, some children who said they were the owner’s kids bullied my daughter during our stay.

Kids club was great. Mint and Pat were interacting a lot with my kids and my kids wanted to go there everyday. Good location for family. Lots of choice for breakfast. Staff were very helpful especially Loubhov from Guest Relation and Joanne the manager was very friendly. Front desk manager even gave us late check out for free. We were also upgraded to the villa due to low season. The rooms were very big and comfortable.

Some facilities needs renovation like the gym and toilets around the bar and pools. Showers next to the pool were not working on the last 2 days. We booked also because of the live entertainment/music in the evening described on booking. However, there was no live music/entertainment. The staff mentioned that it is only during high season.

I like the staff was very friendly , welcoming , smiling , helpful , caring & was daily trying to satisfy our needs & our satisfaction level was 100 % for me & my wife & kids

Great place to stay, the one bedroom suite was perfect for us. Very quiet and clean room. All the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, we felt very welcomed. We recommend the spa and the lovely, professional staff. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure.

There was a problem with two of the pools whilst we were there unfortunately so the main pool was closed for the duration of our stay. There was a smaller pool we could use however.

I liked staff who upgraded my room..MJ and other night front office executive was very cooperative..Special Thanks to Diana who was very nice with us and was very supportive.

Lake of Indian Food Options.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were excellent, very kind and friendly. And our kids really enjoyed the stay. The villa and the room with the balcony were very nice, spacious, and comfortable.

The staff make the resort - they could not have been more welcoming, accommodating or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Location also very good - close enough to everything but a bit quieter than other places in Phuket. Everything you need is on the doorstep

I chose Holiday Inn Karon Phuket mainly for the location, and it didn’t disappoint. Right in the heart of Karon but still quiet enough to relax. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made check-in effortless. I stayed in one of the villas and wow — the layout is brilliant. Super spacious, open-plan living + bedroom area, big bathroom, and your own little outdoor space. Didn’t feel cramped at all. You get that “home away from home” vibe instead of a standard hotel room. What really stood out though was cleanliness. Everything was spotless — floors, bathroom, even little details you don’t expect. And the staff go beyond just cleaning. They actually check in to make sure you have what you need so you can just enjoy your stay without stress. I walked around and checked out a few other hotels in Karon while I was here, and I have to say Holiday Inn has the best staff by far. Friendly faces everywhere, always greeting you, always willing to assist. That kind of service makes all the difference. Already planning to come back. Highly recommend if you want comfort, space, and people who actually care.

Staff was nice.

Facility is not in good REPAIR. It needs alot.of work. The POOLS WERE GROSS. They were a brown color and we did not swim the 4 days we were there afraid of getting sick. All restaurants are open air NO A/C and this Thailand 85 at 8am.

the location was great, everything essential is within 15 mins of walking maximum. staff is very polite, breakfast menu was good as well. staff was very friendly and nice, they gave me a free upgrade for no reason. my room had a pool which was simply fantastic.

only thing is the wifi never worked in my room throughout my stay but they said they will fix the issue soon when i was leaving so it will hopefully be better for others.
