The Front Village - SHA Plus

I have stayed here every year for the last five years. Between the location, the service, the room standards (I always stay in the poolside studio room) and the price, it's perfect for me. The pool is amazing to chill in all day, the staff (in particular May and Song) are truly fantastic and go above and beyond to help in any way they can. I would honestly rate The Front Village more highly if I was able to. I spent three weeks there this trip and it felt like three days. It truly is my Thailand home away from home. Love it and cannot wait to see all the staff again next year :) :)

La musique au bar de la piscine, style boîte de nuit, à 10h30 du matin c'est un peu difficile. Sur le plan pratique : Manque des accroches serviettes dans la salle de bains. Manque de supports de valise. Manque de placards Manque d'insonorisation des portes fenêtres

The Front Village was a great place to stay, good location and fantastic pool with swim up bar. Staff were so nice and helpful, each request was fulfilled happily and very quickly. Really nice facilities and the included breakfast had something for everyone. We had a pool access room with the pool straight off the balcony which was very nice.

The bed was not good, so hard even for someone liking a firm bed. Woke up each morning with sore hips and back. I should have asked sooner, but went to reception and they put a topper on the bed so just ask straight away for a topper if you don't like sleeping on a plank.

Great place to stay. Ideal location for a quieter spot but not too far from markets and convenience stores. Room had pool access and very roomy .. only negative was the mosquitoes

The bed was quite hard but staff were helpful in sorting by adding toppers .. worked well!

Het zwembad is fijn, verzorgd ontbijt voor 250 bath. Lieve personeel die probeert je te helpen.

De venster en balcon komen op drukke straat uit wat heel veel lawaai maakt 24 u per dag. Aan de bed kant zijn er geen enkele stopcontacten. In toilet is altijd vies water aan het afspoelen. In 5 dagen tijd dat wij er waren 2 keer probleem met waterleidingen geweest (water was afgezet voor enkele uren) en 1 keer probleem met lift. De hotel is niet direct aan het strand en niet direct aan het straat met restoranten dus bereid je voor elke keer wat stappen naartoe. Ik zou deze hotel niet aan mijn vrienden aanraden.

Сам отель не плохой, но с нами рядом проживали туристы которые буянили всю неделю подряд. По правилам отеля купаться в бассейне можно до 21:00 но по факту всю ночь крики у бассейна, пьяные драки и все это слышно всему отелю. 5 раз подходили с просьбой на ресепшен, так как были с ребенком и ребенок слышит всю ночь за стенкой мат и драки, но ресепшен просто предложил переселить нас на два номера подальше. С ними вопрос никак не решали. Так и прожили всю неделю под бой посуды у бассейна, пьяные разговоры ночи напролет и ночные драки. Единственный плюс это расположение отеля, пляж рядом.

Loved the beautiful swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool ,the rooms are a good size it was great being over the pool ,we all loved the happy hour on the drink 🍸 and the food was lovely too 😀 xxx

Le ménage est fait très rapidement. Des traces sur la baignoire et des cheveux dans le siphon du lava eau sans parler des traces dans les toilettes

We had a swim up room which was amazing . The welcome off staff when we arrived was lovely and they were very helpful . Rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice especially the fruit salad and yogurt . Great location for exploring Karon beach. Really nice spa and massage place around the corner plus laundry facilities.

It’s next to a road and the walk into the main centre is a bit difficult due to an uneven pavement. You can walk on the other side of the road however crossing it at busy times was difficult . There was no coffee machine at breakfast. The beds are lovely and big but the mattress quite hard .

Swim up room was amazing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Mosquito deterrent in the room didn’t work, got a few bites. My own spray helped to a degree.

Simpatia dos empregados. Piscina agradável e sossegada. Fácil acesso até à praia e rua das lojas. Torneira na sanita. Pequeno almoço: Frutas, arroz branco e ovos de todas as maneiras, cozinhados na hora.

O pequeno almoço parecia super rico de pratos típicos, mas, não havendo opções vegetarianas, não provámos nenhum. Pediram um depósito de 100€ (não tendo dinheiro, damos o número do cartão de crédito) sem ser avisado na reserva.

Отличное расположение, до моря минут 7 ходьбы. Рядом магазины и ресторанчики. На территории бассейн с водопадом и баром. Номера большие , уборка каждый день( убирали на совесть) . Очень приветливый персонал. У нас был номер на первом этаже с выходом в бассейн, удобно освежиться в жару. Завтраки не брали

В номере комары , но есть фумигатор с таблетками, что решило вопрос. С открытым окном слышен шум с дороги, но ночью тихо

The resort was lovely and very clean. It had everything we needed. The staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful.

The location of the property was right beside what seemed like a raw sewage conduit. Very smelly and not pleasant.

Le personnel était gentil, la chambre était comme sur la photo, l’accès à la piscine depuis la chambre était tres pratique (même la nuit si on nage pas vers les autres chambres), le petit déjeuner était bon et la localisation était très bien, proche de tout mais pas bruyant etc. Hotel connu, tous les taxis savaient où aller. L’happy hour à la piscine était bien, pour 1 cocktail on en avait 2 et on pouvait le prendre à la chambre…mais en réalité les prix augmentent à l’happy hour donc c’est bénéfique mais pas trop non plus, le petit déjeuner est pas immense mais il est sympa, il y’a un employé qui fait des œufs aussi (omelette, œuf bénédicte etc.). La climatisation marchait très bien. La plage est proche. J’ai vu qu’on pouvait aussi garer des scooter, mais j’ai été transporté que par les taxis.

L’hôtel est un peur rustique mais c’est le style et c’est comme sur les photos mais c’est vrai que je suis pas trop habitué, l’accès à la piscine est bien mais la piscine devient profonde qu’une fois les chambres passées, la où il y’a le bar. J’avais besoin d’un aspirateur pour aspirer l’air d’un sac pour ranger les habits dans ma valise mais ils n’avaient pas d’aspirateur (ils ne voulaient pas me donner ou ils nettoie toutes les chambres au balais ? Les prises étaient pas super bien situées. Mais ce sont des détails, c’était très bien.

A long walk to the centre

The resort is a very nice hotel! Room and bed were comfortable and the shower was good. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment! The pool area could do with a few more beds. The pool was nice and has a nice swim up bar with lovely staff especially Nam, who made very nice cocktails. We had happy hour lunch, I.e. a club sandwich which was nice, if you have it in happy hour you get double fries which were nice and not greasy. Only downside to this resort is the noise at night time whilst trying to sleep. It’s constant road noise all night long.

Location is a rather long walk to the beach. Breakfast was good. No kids club so that was great . Pool bar great.

Always asking for more toilet paper. You get 2rolls a day that's it. Hopefully track down the trolley.

Haben schon für das nächste Jahr wieder gebucht. Super Lage zum Strand und zum Zentrum trotzdem eine Oase. Kolonialstil war super

Hotel was more on the basic side but did have everything you’d need. Pool area had a swim up bar with a happy hour during certain times for 2 for 1 cocktails. We had a twin room which had a nice little balcony over looking the swim up rooms. Location wise it had everything within walking distance - money exchanges, 7-11, beach, massages etc. From our room you could hear a lot of traffic noise, this was through the night too, with Tuk tuks playing loud music. We didn’t have breakfast or any food at the hotel so can’t comment on that element. Found the porters and cleaners friendly, the front desk staff weren’t overly helpful when we approached them about taxis and onward ferries. An okay stay for us for a couple of nights before moving on however wouldn’t personally want to spend a week here.

Le personnel très gentil, m’a porter mon sac qui était lourd jusqu’à la chambre d’hôtel. La piscine avec le bar et la musique est vraiment top. J’ai tester le petit déjeuner qui est plutôt varié et très bon. Pas assez de sucrée je trouve, mais reste très correcte ! La chambre était très propre et le ménage fait chaque jour minutieusement.

The hotel had a smell of mold and a lot of rules. The rooms were ok and clean and the staff was doing their best . But the hotel did not meet the standard we paid for.

Migliorerei i materassi e i cuscini che nel mio caso erano davvero scomodi. In una struttura del genere mi sarei aspettata dei materassi molto comodi e dei cuscini normali, invece i materassi erano con le molle che schiacciavano la schiena e i cuscini erano alti 20 cm

The location is excellent and easy to reach by taxi or car. The studio was spacious and comfortable, with a nice pool view. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. The room is equipped with an Android TV with YouTube, which we appreciated. Power outlets are American-style 220V sockets adapted for European plugs. An invoice was provided upon request, and the clearly enforced no-tipping policy was appreciated.

A deposit of 100 EUR was required for a two-night stay, which felt excessive. Some areas of the property, including the reception desk, are accessible by stairs only. While the air conditioning works well, it is mounted in a way that blows cold air directly onto the bed, making it uncomfortable to use at night. Drinking water was limited to two small bottles per day for two people, with additional charges for more. Tap water had a brown color, which was concerning.

It was outstanding the staff are amazing and service. Great place will visit again also not so busy which is great as it was a very busy time of year.

Älteres Hotel im Portugiesischen Stiel und schönem Pool. Großzügiges Executive-Zimmer mit überdachtem Balkon in der 4.Etage. Gut mit Aufzug zu erreichen.

Sehr hoher Lärmpegel. Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße.

Everything was really good!

Close to the beach. Lovely pool and the staff were very helpful.

The bath/ shower in the room was very high to step down from and was dangerous. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our room on a daily basis.

Hyvä henkilökunta.

Maksoimme lisämaksun pool acces huoneesta. Allas oli lasten altaan syvyinen eli mahdoton aikuisen uida. Huoneen vaihto ei ollut mahdollista. Lisäksi huone ja allas olivat aivan vilkkaan tien vieressä, liikenteen melu ja pakokaasut oli valtavat 😣
