Everything was amazing from check in and check out. The staff was great. We will return.
Room air conditioner and bathroom
The overall experience was good but there were more than a few issues. After we checked in we had to literally dodge painters and paint covered tarps just get to our room. Had to use a robe to block the odors from coming into the room from under the door. The next morning we get in the elevator to go to the pool on the 4th floor. When we arrive there there is workers everywhere and we were told we could not get to the pool this way and we must go down to the 3rd floor and go up some other elevator that we had no idea where it was. We ran in a manger on the 3rd floor and he got us in through the closed off hallway but we had to exit by a different elevator which lead to the main entrance of the hotel which forced us to walk through the main lobby in our bathing suits/robes. No signs on the elevator about the closure until after we saw the manager. The pool is closed between 8:30 and 9pm but that is not posted anywhere except in small print on the sign in the elevator. The room was nicely renovated except for the total lack of a place to put your own toiletries in the shower. On the plus side the new steam baths were very nice and when the outdoor saunas and fire table are completed that will be nice. The breakfast was very nice.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa. The room was extremely dated, with visibly damaged furniture and fixtures. The air conditioning did not work at all and only blew hot air, making the room very uncomfortable. The bathroom was also in poor condition. The vanity sink was extremely damaged, and the toilet seat was peeling apart in layers. For the price and reputation of the property, I expected a much better standard of maintenance and upkeep. On top of the condition of the room, the spa was disappointing as well, with the steam room and saunas closed during my stay. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here and would suggest looking for a better-maintained property elsewhere in Moose Jaw.
We got an upgraded room-which was nice, but sub par to other hotel rooms we have been in. I would say it is a pretty basic room. The bed was comfortable. Was disappointed the outdoor fire put/sauna area was not yet open as that is one of the reasons we wanted to come for a night and enjoy a "campfire" feel while still enjoying the outdoor pool. The benches in the indoor sauna/steam rooms get EXTREMELY HOT. If you do sit on the bench, when the steam turns on under the benches be prepared to burn your legs. We heard multiple people complaining about this. They look great in each room, but was not thought out very well in my opinion. Having to walk across the pool for a glass of water after getting out of the sauna each time we found to be silly too. Why not have a water station in the open area where loungers are for people who are leaving the spa for the day and people getting out of the sauna? Would consider going back as it is close to home, but if your looking for a true spa experience, I'd go elsewhere.
Love the pool, my massage by a male provider was so awful, and made me somewhat uncomfortable, but I never did say anything :/ pillows were so puffy and big it killed my neck.
Sorry see above for both like and dislike
Great spa. The pools are so warm and relaxing. The cold plunge was fun. The hit and cold showers were great. The various temp steam rooms were nice as well. Nice sun deck. I recommend booking an updated room as we booked 2 rooms and ended up getting one updated and one not updated room and the updated room was much better than the not updated room (and the updated room still needed new furniture) the beds were comfortable though. Do recommend close to the shops downtown so was nice.
Moose Jaw Temple Gardens Hotel and Spa.
Nice bed
The room was like a very cheap motel room. Very old furniture. White walls. The tub was small and had a patched hole. Vagrants outside the hotel. When reserving the room I requester one room with two beds. When I arrived they said I had to take two rooms. The property seemed to be on the decline.
Mineral pool.
Dated rooms - cracked sink. Not very good pillows. Need magnets on shower curtain
New cold plunge at the spa
Some of the Reno’s still not complete.
We were first put into a room which looked like a frat party from the 1980's had taken place. Chipped paint, dripping tub, scorch mark from an iron in the dingy carpet, broken leaning lamp. Gross! We were moved to a newly renovated room which was nice except for there being no where to put your clothes. There's a closet with 5 hangers. A tall empty compartment which clearly could use some shelves and a place for shoes. No luggage stands so we got to live out of our suitcases on the floor for 5 days. The new steam rooms, hydrotherapy showers and cold walk (can't really be a plunge) are great. The saunas looked like they will be a nice feature once they are up and running. Cleaning staff were pleasant and hospitable. The nightly adults only pool time was crowded with the staff starting to shut everything down 30-45 minutes before closing time. We were celebrating 28 years of marriage and have been coming every year for the last 5 years. This was not a good experience.
The room was run down, and the bed was very uncomfortable and creaky. The front staff did not call to let us know the room was ready even though she said she would. Someone hit and run our vehicle in the parking lot. The only thing that was worth it was the mineral pool. I would just pay to use that and stay somewhere else.
It's was my second stay i like the hotel staff and ambiance. But when I check in I ask for breakfast included she didn't we can't do that . Its a hotel why can't you guys do that

The pool was fantastic
Front desk lady was awful. Was told because we booked through 3 rd party booking ( bookings.com) there was no way we could be in the renovated side Restaurant waitress was rude
The room was nice seeing that the hallways are all ripped up due to renovations. Mineral pool was obviously the reason we came. Wish there was a gift shop or some sort of shopping here with this caliber of hotel. Also the shampoo and conditioner.....sucks! Maybe for men it's fine but women with hair, left it all dry and dull.
Pool was nice
Air-conditioning was very noisy !
Loved the friendly people. The spa facility. The large comfortable rooms.
The experience was very underwhelming. The hotel obviously is going through renovations, but it was an eye sore and even the “renovated room” seemed like a basic hotel room you would see in 2026. However, our biggest issue was the pool being closed down due to a “lightning sighting”, which I understand is for the safety of the guests (even though no one seen any lightning at all that night), but the whole purpose of our trip there was for us to do a bachelorette celebration and enjoy the pool. I believe a partial refund would have made sense given the inflated prices of hotel rooms, but we were never offered one. My friend (the bride) also had her leg burned by the steam in the steam room, I don’t understand how that’s even a thing with a “modern spa”. Overall we left feeling disappointed and like we paid wayyyy too much for the experience that we had.
I really enjoyed all the Renos that were done in the pool area. It gave a nice upgrade
The curtains in our room were broken so it was hard to close them at night and open them
Great renovation with new cold pool, multiple temperature saunas
Reception staff. Male staff finished servicing one customer and then stayed at his desk for like 5 minutes while we are in the queue waiting and then proceeded to leave the desk and go behind. Waited another 5 minutes before another female staff finally checked us in. Also, the same male staff was checking us out and when we asked to leave our luggage behind for storage for about 1 hour, he gave a very unwelcoming answer that he needs to check if there is space behind!!! This person should not be working at the reception desk!!!
Went to temple gardens after their Reno’s. Saunas were nice however would have been better if there were signs telling what the different colors meant. Shouldn’t have to rely on other guests experiences. I took advantage of cold plunge a few times. Nice addition. Hydrotherapy opened the last day we stayed. Loved that. Dry saunas still closed. No firepit area yet.
Just got a massage by therapist Tyson and it was the best I’ve ever had! Tyson is incredibly skilled and seemed to know exactly where my body needed the most attention without me having to say much. The pressure was perfect, the experience was relaxing from start to finish, and I walked out feeling better than I have in a long time. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely exceptional at what they do, I can't recommend Tyson enough. I'll definitely be booking with him again!
pool
My salmon was cooked too much
Pool
Better security at the pool. A couple was walking down along the chairs picking up and checking all the robes. When they got to mine that had my phone and room card in it they took it. I saw what they were doing and immediately started tuning in the water towards the other side of the pool cause they were walking towards the door and I yelled at him, “sir that’s my robe and he said oh it is let me take it back over there and I said no!” and I took it away from him. If they had mistakenly taken the wrong robe they would have gone back to the same area to look for their robe. Which made me think they were just theifs.
Staff was friendly, location was good
The room we had was old and had a weird smell. Last time we stayed there we were in a renovated room and it was much nicer.
Loved the new renovation
I didn’t like how the AC wasn’t working, the carpets also smelt bad when walking through the hallways. Our rooms had gunk under the sink in the bathroom.
It was advertised that the pool was open after an extended renovation of their pool area. Pictures of saunas and cozy fire pits were shown. But the truth was that, yes the pool was open, but it was in the middle of a construction zone with workers on site doing construction and electrical work. Materials and debris everywhere. Water was shut off in the public bathroom area near the pool. Guest were asked to use the stairs or elevator to go to the lobby to use the bathroom. Terrible experience. I felt I was baited into coming to enjoy the new amenities only to find out I was stuck in a construction zone.
Extremely disappointed on quick getaway, contractors loud and disruptive on the floor, room is renovated hall is not. Booked room with balcony to then have the balcony next us be smoke friendly, according to front desk this is allowed even though it is a smoke free facility. Balcony must belong to someone else? Can’t even go on the balcony for the haze coming from next door. Definitely will skip the expensive room experience next time and just visit the pool. Less stressful and cost. Do better Temple Gardens😞

manque de propreté rénovation débutées à plusieurs endroits dans l'hôtel
Good price and comfortable
Pools and hot tubs had closed the day prior to our arrival, which was unfortunate as we would have liked to experience them.
Booked for 2 couples 2 months ago and was advised pool and spa was undergoing Reno’s but pool are would be finished during our stay June 23/24. Hotel has gone done hill in cleanliness since we were there 2 yrs ago. Pool area was not finished and most areas roped off and only way to get around ward by going over the stairs which I cannot due to mobility. Pool had so much bromide in it that it was not refreshing as this is not a Mineral Spa. Robe that I was given was too small and checking in was told to call room service and they will come and exchange it. Wife called 3 times and no one answered. The 4 of us decided to check out and go back to Regina and check into a hotel with pool and hot tub as it was half the price. We travelled from Wpg and pissed off they should have let us know the pool area was not finished and spa closed. Stay away from this place as false advertising and not a mineral spa in its current operation. Receptionist did not apologize or offer refund or future discount on this 300 dollar room.
Everything was in walking distance from hotel 🏨
The room was not that clean, stains on the lounge chair and graffiti on the walls.
If you're going for the pool, then that is exactly the place to go. However the rest of the experience was mid-bar. Felt more like staying in a low-end motel than staying at a high-end spa and retreat. They really need to step up their game. I'm pretty tolerant with a lot of things but this one was not a good experience this time and we are repeat customers.
Location,pool,casino
Furniture a bit outdated
I like the pool, but sauna was under construction
Pillows are not comfortable, they are good for sitting but not sleeping 😴
I liked that Temple Garden is supposed to be a Spa
There was no Spa experience. Hotel Spa area is undergoing a major renovation. Pool was closed until 6:30 pm. We were not told by the hotel or by Bookings.com that the Spa services were not available. Major disappointment
The room was a disappointment. Very worn, no flip lock on the door, no artwork on the walls, water pressure so strong the shower curtain stuck to you. Overall the lower price during renovation wasn't worth staying here. It should be closed during renovation.
Nothing
The pool was closed room was old.
Everything was fantastic until we checked out. We parked 2 cars in the hotel parking garage across the street. Both cars were damaged with the car on the ground floor requiring $1500 of bodywork due to an unknown white vehicle hitting the back bumper very hard. The vehicle parked on the 2nd floor had damage to its side panel. If you stay at this hotel, DO NOT PARK in their lot.
Proximity to downtown and the park.
That the spa was under renovations. It would have been nice if you had let us know there was no pool! Main reason we chose to stay at Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. We were a little shocked when we got there and told there was no pool.
Temple Gardens Mineral Spa is a lovely place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms need updating and this is being done. Even so, the rooms are always spotlessly clean. The pool area is being updated as well. I recommend staying here for a relaxing experience.
The staff are lovely very helpful. Room was nice upgraded as none of facilities aside restaurant were open. Location is good.
Wasn’t aware the mineral spa was under renovation. Neither booking.com or confirmation included details. I didn’t know until arrival. The staff did their best to accommodate and I felt bad that they likely were dealing with angry people all day. Should have been clearer that facilities weren’t open not fair for frontline staff or customer.
The pool was ok but if I knew we couldn’t go outside in the pool I’d not paid full price
I had to speak to supervisor at the pool about staff talking for 45 minutes plus loud about the supervisor in a very negative way and my daughter got upset because it was her birthday to relax and we sat there and listened to that and she went back to our room. We came to relax. We paid to relax the staff was being paid to be here… there were two staff on duty at the pool and obviously an unimpressed staff off duty in the pool very disgruntled with her employment here… the blonde lifeguard on duty was lacking professionalism and had nothing better to do than sit in her chair engaging in vile talk with the off duty employee in the pool. After the supervisor spoke to the on duty staff she snapped at other guests in the pool…
The front desk staff lady was amazing! It honestly was the easiest check-in I've ever experienced! The beds were really comfortable! The pool area was amazing! My cousin went to the spa and she loved it!
The air conditioner definitely was a little lazy lol The lady at the Starbucks store by the pool needs to review her customer service. We asked for three martinis and she rolled her eyes and give a big sigh. There was a table of four beside us that had just said we asked for that too but she said she couldn't do it cuz she didn't have the right cups. So then I said well I don't care what kind of cup it comes in and she rolled her eyes again and give a big sigh once more. So I asked her, is that okay? And then all the sudden she found the Martini glasses. Then she yelled over the room and asked one of the other staff members to help her. The girl that came over to help was amazing and positive and while she was making seven martinis now, the lady that sighed did not even help her at all. When the drinks were completed the other girl had to ask the lady for help to take the martini drinks owed to the people. It was the weirdest thing. Then when we went to throw the plastic glasses in the garbage bin, she said what are you throwing in there and my cousin was kind of shocked and she said the Martini plastic glasses. The lady then started to dig them out and said we reuse those. I don't know if that's an Alberta health code safety issue, but plastic glasses are slightly porous. Anywho, I don't know if that lazy's going through something or if she needed a hug, but she definitely should not be Frontline staff.
Pool was great! Newly renovated room was lovely! Supper at Harwoods restaurant was fantastic!
Lovely pool. Rooms are modern and new. Front entrance a load/ unload and enable easy check-in. Staff can be more friendly/helpful.
Location is great. Easy to walk to shops and amenities. Atmosphere is always great. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a renovated room the last 2 visits and both were amazing. This time was more than expected. Value for money very good.
Room was clean available at arrival time, Courteous staff
Bathroom vent really allows sound to carry. The conversation of others was as loud as if standing in same room so privacy issue
Excellent management obviously. This please was great in every aspect!
Beautiful layout design, loved to mineral spa and the family room was spacious spectacular!!!
The rugs to the pool felt quite dirty…should have brought shoes or sandals
Spa
Dirty rooms. Has hair everywhere, the sheets smelled like it’s used, there’s a pair of mascara taped in the blower and garbage shoved on the side of the bed. It’s disgusting.
Terrible experience with newly renovated room. Toxic sewer smell from drains in bathroom string enough to make me physically sick. Nothing worked in room. Temperature control broken. Hot water not available. Only warm after 20 mins. Tv remote control didn’t work. Staff didn’t apologize, offer a remedy or seem to care ,
It is a very nice get away to reclaim yourself and the water is amazing for the aches and pains.
If you are looking for a quiet hotel, this is not the hotel for you. They are doing room renovations, the sound of grinders, hammers and any other kind of construction noise you can think of was constant from 7am - 6pm. It is extremely hard especially with a baby to get any sort of quiet time. We asked to move rooms but unfortunately they were sold out. They should be posting somewhere that they are doing active renovations and the hotel will be noisy. If we would have known this we would have stayed somewhere else. Rooms are also extremely outdated and in need of a refresh. Paint on furniture is chipped and paint is peeling off walls. In all honesty, I can't say anything positive about the hotel. I'm sure it will be nice once renovations are completed but for now we will stay elsewhere on our trips to Moose Jaw.
Hi the room is nice and we love Moose Jaw! The big tip is to make this a functional space for well for a spa with so much wet clothing. There’s huge walls on both sides of the entry way. A ton of hooks would make a huge difference for towels, robes, bathing suits. And boot mats. It’s a room that can accommodate 6 but little functional space or storage. Shelves in the bathroom and the hand towel hook higher. The only place to hang bath towels is beside the toilet - gross. Thank you!
I would probably not recommend this place as there is updates that need to be done to the rooms for the price that is charged. The pool was good but also needs renovations. Staff was not friendly after dealing with an issue of theft at the pool. Asked that a manager call me and am still waiting for them to call me two days later. Overall I guess I expected more for the value that we received.
I have been to the pool many times. Never have I ever had a bathing suit wrecked in one day. Obviously the chlorine levels were high because my black bathing suit is now almost white in spots, and I have worn the bathing suit and other pools in other hotels. Even after washing my bathing suit and soap and cold water, it still smells like chlorine.
Got a couples massage at the spa. Great experience, very relaxing. Was surprised at the price per night after arriving. The rooms are very outdated. Our ac in the room was too loud to use at night while sleeping. Loved the mineral pool. Would go back to the mineral pool again but just stay at a different hotel.
staff, food clean, comfortable
directions to the pool from the casino hotel side ,
If you have not been here in a while you will be shocked at how far its fallen. Filthy parkade, parking machines that do not work, filthy carpets, stairwells, doors, dirty windows, showers that do not work and the list goes on. Embarrassment to the province. Still expensive to stay there however, used to be a very nice place.
Hotel and Pool were perfect. Housekeeping did an amazing job...Thanks to Jessica and check in was very good as always with Noreen in charge. The entire two day's were very relaxing. Thank You to all the staff!
My wife and I went for a night and stayed in a renovated king room and it was beautiful. Bed was comfortable and everything looked and felt fresh and new! Enjoyed the pool a few times with friends. Ate steel cut oats at Morningside’s and that was delicious and was an easy way to have breakfast and go to the pool in the morning. Staff were always helpful and upbeat for the entire stay. Best stay we’ve ever had there!
They add a lot of chlorine to the water in the mineral pool. Too much in my opinion. Anyone with skin conditions (even if healed) should avoid the mineral pool. Temperature was not very warm. They were having trouble with the water pipes when we were there so that could have contributed.
Excellent room, so quiet here we slept very well last night .Our balcony is overlooking the park that is a beautiful area . Its bliss! the beds are very comfortable and clean. The decorations are pretty, the tempreture of the room was perfect with no noise from our heating unit. We have a fridge microwave and coffee and tea maker. Lots of storage with silent doors and drawers, plenty of lighting options and plug in areas . The shower is a rainfall one in its own room inside the spacious bathroom. There is fine shampoo, conditioner body wash. There is a small bottle of quality hand/body lotion by the sink and some very good hand soap . We are on floor 4 only a little ways from the spa and quiet elevator . Staff all seem friendly and ready to help . We booked a regular room but we were complemented with an upgrade to a newly refurbished room . Lots to explore in Moose Jaw , we are able to walk to many attractions from here . Our vehicle is across the way undercover in the hotel car park. There is a sky bridge to the car park and the casino so you are out of the elements . Lots of people here but we dont see or hear them . Reception are very pleasant and any service workers we have said hello to seem happy and efficient. We are enjoying everything about Temple Gardens and the restaurant Harwoods ? is very reasonable with lovely wait staff, we shall be coming back again !
Got a wonderful experience with the newest renovated room. The ambience made us feel relaxed. Had a fun and stress free staycation.
Are last stay a temple Gardens we got a newly renovated room. Clean, comfortable, quiet. They did a great job on the renovation. I recommend checking it out. Can’t wait to go back and see the jacuzzi rooms when they are finished.
The spa was great. Soaked my weariness away. Great for the tension in my arm and neck. The room was lovely and spacious. Beds were comfortable and great to sleep in. Close by to a lot of options for food, entertainment and the like.
While using my shower the curtain was super close to me and should have been put on a convex pole so that it arcs away from me. Also the water would heat up fine but as soon as someone else started a shower on the floor my shower would start to squeal and making terrible noise, lose pressure and get cooler. After that it would either be too hot or too cold. The bathtub tap was also very loose. Just a slight tap would move it and change your temperature.
Room update are lovely, more suited to a spa get away. Three things I wish were added. Bed side table being wider. Hooks in shower to drip dry bathsuits. Larger recycling bin. The new storage and drawers are amazing.
Newly renovated suite is nice but weird layout choices (no closet by front door) and the “view of the park” description on website is accurate but … just barely. Suite is on ground floor and view is across the street at ground level. When I read “view” I expect to be at least on 2nd floor.🤷♀️ Hotel has/is undergoing renovations and room updates are nice but overall there’s a bit of a downgrade from the hotel’s former glory. Still better overall than when place was in need of an overhaul. Complimentary robes during stay are less luxurious than previous versions. Bedding is more hotel standard than luxury. But all clean and comfortable. Booked a couple of spa treatments and both were excellent. Food in the restaurant was also excellent.
We had a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Our mid-week stay was quiet and the pools were not crowded. Staff were friendly and competent We stayed in one of the renovated rooms which are modern and tastefully designed. Great experience overall.
This is a first rate hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The rooms are larger than most hotels. We did not experience the restaurants because we read the menu and felt it was more than we could spend. But we hear the food is worth it. The mineral water pool itself is hot and healing! You can almost hear your muscles sighing in relief! We appreciated the use of robes to walk from room to spa. Staying in this hotel is a must do experience for those wanting to feel better.
Room 331 needs a renovation. Shower head inadequate for small space provided and this particular room had banging in ceiling throughout evening, and not enough power outlets to recharge cell phones etc. You can get a power cord sent up, so not a big issue. Room was otherwise fine, lots of room to move around and mattress was great, firm but not too much. Mineral pool is wonderful, all 3 restaurants served well prepared food, especially poolside restaurant was great. Front desk was understaffed. Overall, 4 out of 5, very glad we stayed there.
We go to Temple Gardens annually for a bit of a winter get away. The outdoor pool in the winter, at night, is fantastic. The hotel itself is comfortable and more than adequate. if there is one thing missing from the rooms its drying racks for wet swim gear. Heated racks would be great!
The staff were all friendly and courteous. Anything thing to help. Except reserving a handicapped parking spot. The first man I spoke with, at the desk, contradicted the lady on the phone, a week prior. The 2nd lady contradicted him and then herself. The rest of the visit was wonderful. A candle for my birthday really elevated my mood. There weren't any towels for the pool at the hotel door, but there were by the water station. The toilet paper is awful. Thin and scratchy, it is not what you would expect from a "Luxury" or Spa hotel. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap were all excellent, exactly as you would expect. The beds were completely comfortable, the pillows excellent and the blankets smooth and soft. An extra blanket might be nice. The TV was perfect for the room, as was the microwave. The fridge could use a freezer, but still very useful. The Keurig machine worked well and the selection of pods was perfect. Larger glasses would be nice, but having 4 for 2 people worked too. Having to get ice from a machine a floor down was a bit of an inconvenience but, not terrible. The mineral spa was fantastic. Perfect, absolutely what I needed. All in all, well worth the trip!
The exhaust fan in our bathroom did not work Beds were squeaky, uncomfortable and pillows extremely uncomfortable. We went to Winners and bought new pillows after the first night of poor sleep because at least we got to take them home instead of paying an upgrade price for more comfortable ones at your hotel. The sink in the bathroom was cracked A light bulb in the bathroom was burnt out The carpet in the room had stains There were no info pamphlets or menus or phone directory or anything in the hotel room of the sort Our room was prepaid and only added on parking for the 3 nights, at checkout you tried to charge me more at different rate for our room. The front desk man was very good in dealing with that once I questioned him but I shouldn’t have had to. Had I not been paying attention my credit card would have been charged more again. We have stayed here years ago before for a spa trip and had similar expectations coming back, we have to say our expectations were not met and we won’t be returning. I know we did not pay extra for a “newly renovated” room but for the prices you charge it should have at least been comfortable with all things working properly. The mineral waters are very nice and warm but the tile and grout are falling apart, especially outside. My friend cut her foot on the pool deck (?shard of tile or rock?) inside when we got out of the waters and had to get the lifeguard assistance for a bandaid and clean up the blood on the deck as we didn’t want to use your towels. The spa has a beautiful waiting lounge and the treatments were good but again for the prices the spa charged it should have been excellent. It was not. We will not go back there for treatments either. We have had better treatments for lower prices elsewhere. The esthetician doing a treatment should not have long nails or gel nails that harbour bacteria and that you can feel scratching instead of rubbing during “massage” or facial. 2 out of 3 of mine did. My RMT was excellent in skill although he could have made the room and experience much more comfortable. The room was cold and bright with a big window and the bed was cold with no warmed blankets or towels, I had to ask for another pillow to be more comfortable as he did not question my comfort level at all. I left there and went into the steam room to warm up. In my experience a massage leaves you warm and completely relaxed not cold and shivering.
We stayed in a mineral Jacuzzi suite. The room was very dated with peeling furniture, uncomfortable sagging king bed, lumpy pillows. The door to the fridge was off the hinges, the desk chair torn and a disgrace. not sure exactly what was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom? Although the Jacuzzi tub was cracked in places, at least it worked. It is difficult to get in if you’re short like me since there is no step or bar to hold onto. We brought these matters to the attention of the front desk since we didn’t want to get charged for any damages but they didn’t really seem to care as no empathy or apology. Dining room is closed for lunch. Definitely not worth the price we paid.
Location and spa on site was terrific. Staff were great and the hotel and room is very clean and secure
Shower head was awful felt like a thousand pins piercing the skin. Room needs updated
I would say this hotel is just OK. Definitely not worth the luxury price tag of the per night stay, especially if you’ve travelled and stayed in many hotels with comparable prices. I hear they are renovating rooms, I staying in the 500’s, it’s ok but outdated and not modern in style in any way. Just a large room but looks old. Pack your own toiletries because you’re lucky if you get one hair wash from the shampoo and the lotion smells old. Given that this place is a mineral spa, I assumed the whole place would be a vibe and carry into the rooms like aromatherapy soaps and lotion - not the case. So you could essentially get a Nordic spa experience for the same price and that’s a vibe worth experiencing- just assumed this would be the same thing for the almost $300 a night. I’d say the experience would be $175 at best for a regular king room. In the future we will just come for the pool. It’s clean and comfortable just not worth $300 a night
the pool spa
rooms nees update & kinda expensive for staying 1 night
The renovated room was well finished. The tiled entry way and bathroom were very nice. The pillows were all very large so we had to get other ones. The wall unit is nice, but too large. Coming for two or three nights, we never opened any of the seven drawers. It would have been better to cut down on the length of the wall unit and put in a small table and a couple of chairs.
Nothing over priced overpriced everything.
I just left a flat in a small town in Italy. The flat was convenient, be space and generally as advertised… except the bed was as hard as a board. We tried (and failed) to sleep on it for two nights, and ended up leaving a day early because we couldn’t stand it. I don’t expect (and did not ask for) a refund, although I did tell the host we’d checked out early because the bed was too uncomfortable.
This hotel use to be the go to place. They claim they have been renovating but i just dont see it. Pillows are super lumpy in the "renovated" room so bring your own. If your in a big group and want to party and drink with your door open all night... they let you! so thats nice (HA!) The hotel seems to really encourage you to spend your money outside the hotel so thats also awesome. The cafe and the restaurant is very pricy so we chose to eat elsewhere. and the spa is SUPER expensive so i got a massage from a nice little business across the park. The pool itself was very murky with lots of crap floating around like bellybutton lint and bandaids and the chlorine smell burned the eyes a bit. Even seen the lifeguard picking up multiple loose tiles and storing them to the side. Ive been going there for as long as i can remember and the only real change i have seen is the price go up and the quality go down. Its like its stuck in time.
The location couldn't be better. Right downtown close to restaurants and attractions. The pools were great.
The pillows
Location was great. The restaurant was very good 😋
I wish we could have checked in earlier.
The pools were all hot and you couldn't control the temperature of the showers and I thought they might be cold as I watched people not be able to get under the shower by the pool - it was so screaming hot they couldn't! It was a beautiful, sunny day in october and sitting outside by the pool we got hot - but there is nothing to do. We spent so much of the day so dang hot were were exhausted and fell asleep at 6pm. Please, even just a cold shower would be so lovely! If you still want to go, book directly with the hotel. Booking.com doesn't offer upgraded rooms, only the run down rooms across the street.
The room was old and run down. No smart TV. (book with the hotel directly to get a nice room) and the spa was also run down with a hole in the ceiling it was airconditioned so intensely it was very uncomfortable. (If only I had known this was the cold I was seeking, but it was in the morning and we didn't go to the pools before). My massage and my wrap were otherwise incredible.
Overall hotel was wonderful. Bathroom could use a bit of updating. Room and hotel were clean Staff super friendly and helpful. Excellent experience
The mineral spa was relaxing, the staff were friendly and the location was convenient.
Rooms are outdated especially considering the price, facilities were also in need of an upgrade and repairs. For an example of this, there were spots on the pool deck where tiles were cracked or all together missing, as well, the liner on the pool floor seems to be lifting in places creating ridges and tripping hazards. The final issue for me was that people under 18 aren’t allowed into the mineral spa after 8:30 meaning that due to a dinner reservation we were left with limited time to go to the mineral spa as a family.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, pool was enjoyable as always !
Room was in desperate need of a Reno, for the price I feel one deserved a whole lot more ! Rooms were very small with uncomfortable beds ! All furniture looked like it had seen better days !
Had an amazing stay at Temple Garden Hotel and Spa for a hockey tournament in Moose Jaw! The newly renovated rooms were fantastic, and the staff was super friendly. A huge thanks to Shelly, the spa supervisor, for arranging a group spa day for 8 hockey moms and finding extra masseuses to accommodate us. Chloe also provided top-notch service—so professional and incredibly attentive! I can’t recommend this place enough—it's the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!
Our stay was great from the booking, check in to check out. We booked the 2 queen bed renovated room. Excellent! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Lots of coffee/tea. All containers in the bathroom were filled Staff was excellent Pool was awesome. It was a Monday so we pretty much had it to ourselves. Definitely recommend for a nice getaway
