Grant Hall Hotel

It was a very spacious room and well equipped for a physically challenged guest. The bed was very comfortable and the dining room food and service exceptional. The receptionist went out of her way to make us feel welcome and helped us unload luggage. This hotel provided my wife and I the opportunity to spend a few days in very gracious and elegant surroundings.

It would have been nice to have a lounge where we could relax, have a coffee and perhaps watch TV without necessarily being a bar.

Excellent, well priced breakfast.

Our room was very cold. Stayed at a frigid 66 degrees for the three nights we were there notwithstanding that this was brought to the attention of staff.

I Like the hotel for the antiques and atmosphere.

The room we had was cold. I turned the heat up and took a bit to get warm. Then when we came there was not enough parking in there parking lot. So we had to park on the street.

It was very clean and the staff were super friendly

Everything was wonderful! Front desk service was very attentive, the bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant food and service were a delight. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored and we would definitely return on our next visit to Moose Jaw.

Parking. Small parking area and very busy this time around.

This is our go to when we go to Moose Jaw. We love the history of this place. The outside does not reflect how wonderful it is on the inside. The restaurant is top notch and I love the L’Occitane products.

My only request would be lighter duvets. We felt that they were almost like weighted blankets. Not great for early senior ladies, but that is still not a big deal.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an executive suite which was spacious and lovely.

Exactly best location, walking all over Main Street and the lovely Central Park. My Mom loved the old cared for antique furnishings in picturesque rooms. Honestly best was the genuine staff, no scripted customer service bs. Great staff everywhere, front desk, restaurant and room.

It was beautifully decorated, very classy historical bldg. Gorgeous room with very comfortable bed and lots of space . The dining room was breath taking and delicious food .

Carpet floor in the room but they seemed well maintained.

Pretty nearly everything. It is a beautifully restored hotel with a fantastic lobby and dining room. We also were given a complimentary upgrade to a king suite. We had breakfast in the dining room and it was great value and very tasty. Bed was very comfy as well.

The bathroom did not have very much space for our toiletries, and the design for the shower was crossways rather than lengthways so it was tight. Luckily you could remove and use the hand wand otherwise all okay.

Wifi didn’t work and staff unable to resolve. This was unfortunate and did hinder our ability to access some services for us. Hotel was busy the weekend we stayed parking was an issue as lot full.

Quiet, friendly , roomy

This is an exceptional hotel. From the time you walk in the front door until the time you leave you are treated to fantastic experience. The staff is very gracious, the building is well appointed and oozes old world charm. The beds are comfortable and the room was very clean.

Just stay in such an elegant vintage hotel was one of the highlights of my. It was extremely affordable, given the high-level of luxury space and comfort in the room. I would expect to pay a lot more for what I got. Put the check in and check out the staff was top not I left very early in the young man working at the front desk actually helped me to my car without me asking.

We use c-pap machines so needed more electrical outlets close to the bed.

Beautiful, renovated heritage building. Welcoming staff, spotless room, l'occtaine toiletries, delightful lobby lounge with well priced cocktails and live music... wonderful! We were just delighted to be told on check in that our Queen Studio had been upgraded to a King Suite! It was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last! Thanks for the tremendous hospitality!

Our bathroom was very small for 2 people. The water in the shower is backwards (hot is cold...cold is hot) and the floor of the shower is terrible and slippery. We did manage with these, but our room smelled musty and the A/C struggled to keep the room cool

I enjoyed the beautiful decor in the public areas -restaurant, lounge, etc. It reminded me of Europe.

The parking lot and access from there to my room was very daunting. I was regretting my decision to stay there, by the time I got my luggage up to the room. However, after a bit of time in the building, I was able to overlook my first impression. I really recommend, though, that you do something to improve the parking area and access.

Adequate location, room was okay.

I was charged around $150 for "security deposit" and was told it would refunded to my credit card within 10 business days. Three weeks later this deposit was not credited back to my credit card. I called the hotel and asked for an explanation and was told that the credit was forwarded the day I checked out.... and was told to talk to my bank for an explanation. The clerk I spoke with offered hollow apologies ..... Nice hotel: crappy management policies and service.

Love the history and old world feel of the hotel

The hotel is Gorgeous. Love the 1920's vibe. The staff were very nice. The room was beautiful.

The air conditioning is terrible. We had to ask for a fan for our room it was so hot. We attended a party in a reception room and it was so hot. The AC definitely ant keep up with such a large building. The bathtub was dirty, needs a good scrub.

Location was excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We were on the 5th floor and it was very warm at night even with a fan blowing on us. Also, the shower was awkward to use.

There was nothing I didn’t like!

We have been staying at the Grant Hall for at least 10 years and it has always been excellent. This last stay, while excellent, was different. There is a different feeling there. The building and decor is beautiful and well maintained. Service was excellent. In previous years the continental breakfast was included. Our room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable.

The service was great! The food was very good, well presented and not too pricey especially with the 20% discount on entrees. We enjoyed the beautiful dining room.

Room service was a must as the room was so lovely to be in. Decor incredible. Comfort like home. Totally recommend for character and class. Front office manager Mariz is an asset to the place. Above and beyond.

Beautiful historical hotel. Stayed in Executive One bedroom suite. Room was immaculate. Nice place to relax after walking around Moose Jaw. Dining room and Lounge have stellar food and service. Every interaction we had with staff was positive. Highly recommend The Grant Hall!

Nice spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, live evening music in the lounge, the food and great service. The hotel is central walking distance to the Temple Garden Spa, the underground tunnels tours, a nice big park for walks and other nice restaurants. The bonus excursion was the Prairie Bee Meadery - Winery tour that is 20mins. from the city. The Meadery-Winery also has a store near the hotel for tastings. We will be back again.

Had appies in lounge area - calamari was delicious, but came with 6 small pieces for 22.00 - we learned our lesson!

Room and bed were good. We didn't have breakfast. But the coffee in the room was good.

No complaints. However, previously you had more local beer on tap. Its disappointing it's no longer available. Having to get a room on one of those websites isnt my favourite.

The only thing was the coffee machine was not working properly and the microwave door wouldn’t open after heating something up!

Renovations were wonderful. Historical significance recognized. Staff terrific. Day concierge gave me a tour. A real asset to your orgs ization. Only thing that stood out to me and surprising for such a qualify hotel- plastic shower stalls. Poor choice and poor taste. Restaurant staff could be a little more professional. Suggest a fine hotel uniform for the restaurant staff. Take a look a t Fine European hotels. But I will return. !!

Convenient having a nice lounge and great restaurant there. The traditional style is unique nowadays - like stepping back in time. The downtown location is great.

Wish it had a gym. I would recommend adding a nice fence around the ugly garbage and recycling bins that greet guests in the parking lot - not the most pleasant first impression.

We were pleasantly surprised by the "old world" charm and quality of this hotel. We would definitely stay here again. The staff were wonderful and it was a treat to relax in the lounge in the evening and enjoy the dining room.

The room windows did not open to get fresh air inside. And no switch for a bathroom fan.

Beautifuly restored hotel just a short walk to the Mae Wilson Theatre, and the casino. Very elegant lobby, dining room and our room was upgraded to a suite. Very comfortable four poster king bed, separate bathroom with tub and shower, and living room, with tv, desk, fridge and fireplace. We ate dinner and breakfast in the dining room, both were excellent!
