Hotel Villa Romeo

Tolles, altmodisches Hotel in Bahnhofsnähe. Ein sehr gepflegter Innenhof mit vielen Pflanzen, denen man die Pflege ansieht. Das Frühstück war großartig und die Dame, die den Kaffee zubereitet, sehr freundlich und sympathisch.

das Zimmer, das ich nach Kampf bekommen habe, weil ich es ja gebucht hatte.

Der Empfang. Es wurde mir verweigert zuerst meinen Koffer aufs Zimmer zu bringen um dann aus dem verschlossenen Koffer meine Ausweispapiere zu holen. Riesen Theater, ich wollte nach Stundenlanger Fahrt nicht ewig kramen um die Schlüssel zu finden und dann in der Lobby meinen Koffer aufmachen. Als ich meinen Personalausweis hinterlegt hatte durfte ich in das Zimmer, das dann ehr eine schlichtes Dachzimmer war jenseits dessen was ich gebucht hatte. Nach Kampf und umständlicher Suche in booking zu dem Foto des gebuchten Zimmers (künftig mache ich immer einen screenshot bei der Buchung) konnte ich dann im ersten Stock ein adäquates Zimmer beziehen. Never ever - das macht keinen Spaß.

Staff was ok

Does not look anything like the pictures. It is extremely dirty, outdated. First room i was given smelled literally like piss. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Even the flooring had missing pieces. Walls are dirty.

Hotel is located in a great location for exploring the city! Our room was beautiful with a spectacular ceiling and chandelier. Room was finely furnished, had balcony with partial view of the ocean, and was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful, seating in a large outdoor courtyard area.

Номер был чистым и аккуратным. Высоченные потолки и огромная площадь комнаты. Выглядит точно, как на картинке! Великолепное расположение - 5 минут до центральной ж/д станции. Из номера 2 балкончика: немного видно море и фонтан - просто произвндение исскуства, но к сожалению, заброшенный. Хотелось бы, чтобы муниципалитет Катании обратил на него внимание и реконструировал!!!! Завтрак вкусный. Обслужиаание отличное. Персонал приветливый. И отель запоминающийся!!! Огромное спасибо!

К сожалению, омлет и сосиски на завтрак был холодными. Хотелось бы еще бутылку воды сразу после приезда. Кондиционер "просит и пишет": почистить фильтр!

Rommet var helt elendig jeg bestille to rom til 4 personer og det ene rommet var rent, pent og koselig. På vårt rom var det ikke rent, tapeten var revet opp og dusjen var så skitten at vi orket ikke å dusje.

Das Hotel war früher bestimmt schön, doch heute 'in die Jahre' gekommen. Tapeten lösen sich von der Wand und das Fenster hat nicht geschlossen.

Lå i øyeblikkelig nærhet til sentralbanestasjonen.

Cuando llegamos nos habían dado una habitación que no tenía nada que ver con las fotos de booking, pero pedimos el cambio porque nos sorprendió un poco, pero nos cambiaron a otra y la verdad que estaba muy acorde con lo solicitado!

La posizione vicino alla stazione dei treni e degli autobus. Servizio, colazione e camera. Bella terrazza dove è possibile fare colazione. Alcuni mobili di pregio arredano l’hotel. Calorosa accoglienza del proprietario. Consigliato.

Pensió agradable, ben situada, al costat de l’estació de tren i a uns 15 minuts a peu del centre històric. L’habitació és força gran, amb un llit confortable i prou. El bany és petit, però la dutxa té bona pressió.

Tot i això, l’establiment necessita una reforma urgent i una neteja en profunditat. Pel que fa a l’esmorzar, només es poden salvar les pastes de te.

The room is like the pictures, the bed and the room were very clean and comfortable. The staff members were very helpful.

The air-conditioning was faulty, weather temperatures were very hot which made the stay very uncomfortable. Your staff member, Diego, tried his best to help us, he came to our room four times. He suggested the filter needed cleaning by could not do so until the next day. He could not relocate us as the hotel was full. He provided us with a pedestal fan which did little. The room needs maintenance and is not suitable for letting in its current condition.

We paid for an survived room in the middle of a heatwave. We didn't get what we paid for.

Le personnel très accueillant, la chambre et le matelas très confortable, la cour où prendre le petit déjeuner est très agréable, l'hôtel n'est pas bruyant, la localisation est parfaite à côté de la gare centrale, du métro, des bus et des cars, et à 15 minutes à pied du centre-ville de Catane.

Il n'y avait malheureusement pas d'internet lorsque nous sommes arrivés (mais c'était dans tout le quartier), cela n'a duré que quelques heures). Egalement un matin nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude pour nous doucher, mais l'eau restait tiède donc ce n'était pas infaisable :-)

Das Hotel ist sehr herzig, es ist wie ein Boutique Hotel. Es ist nah zum Bahnhof und Strand. Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet und sehr ruhig. Es hat ein wunderschöner Innenhof, wo das sehr feines Frühstück serviert wird.

酒店有欺诈之嫌，我支付25欧元给前台订第二天一早的出租车，到机场后司机说酒店未付给他，我只能又付了25欧元。后经预订平台和酒店联系，酒店慌称收的为城市税。城市税之前我们就已支付。

Sa localisation à la fois proche de la gare et du centre ville.

À la fois très mauvaise insonorisation et manque de discrétion absolue du personnel de ménage. Le personnel de ménage qui étaient bruyant avant même 8h du matin et ne s’arrêtant pas malgré des remarques faites à plusieurs reprises, nous obligeant à nous lever du lit de nombreuses fois. Nous ne pouvions pas ouvrir les volets et fenêtres sur la cour intérieure car il y avait un vis à vis trop important avec les chambres d’en face et des rideaux qui ne marchaient pas.

Sometimes AI doesn’t do what you want…..but I’ll put this down to operator error in this case. Staying for 2 nights in Catania, first night arriving late, second day we travelled to Syracuse and we were off the next day so we wanted somewhere close to the train and bus stations. We got it! Other than the stations, the rest wasn’t great unfortunately. Very nice people working there but this part of town is not nice, didn’t feel safe at night and a good 25 minute walk to Catania centre which is interesting. The rooms were something from the 70’s, the continental breakfast was very basic and bed itself was as hard as a rock. I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again. Probably wouldn’t return to Catania.

Obsluga byla bardzo mila, problem z prysznicem zalatwili bardzo szybko. W pokoju byl balkon chociaz maly. Lokalizacja do zwiedzania wyspy bardzo dobra. Do dworca kolejowego ok 100 m, ciut dalej do dworca autobusowego. Sniadania dobre chociaz monotonne . Jest winda.

Die Reinigungskraft und der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Entscheidungen wurden von einer Person (vermutlich dem Manager) am Telefon getroffen und von genannten Personen lediglich übermittelt.

Wir haben sofort nach Ankunft storniert. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht den Abbildungen. Es roch modrig, am Fenster war Schimmel und auch im Raum konnten an der Tapete schon erste Anzeichen von Schimmel erkannt werden. Das Bad war unsauber und voller Kalk. Die Toilette roch nach Fäkalien. Dürftige Ausstattung. Auch im Flur war der gesamte Teppich voller Flecken und roch modrig. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten wurde zunächst gesagt, es gäbe kein alternatives Zimmer. Nach mehreren Diskussionen wurde uns einen Tag später ein alternatives Zimmer, im Verlauf sofort ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Aufgrund des insgesamt unhygienischen Gebäudes wurde dies unsererseits abgelehnt.

The hotel is in a great location and has a stylish, welcoming atmosphere. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

The electrical outlets seemed to provide low power, so my electronic devices charged much more slowly than expected.

A very good place to stay, just a 5–8 minute walk from the bus station. The location is excellent, with the city center and many great restaurants nearby. The breakfast was tasty and served in a beautiful garden. The rooms are arranged like a little labyrinth, which gave the place a unique and charming atmosphere. The staff were professional, friendly, and always helpful. The reception is open 24/7, making check-in and assistance very convenient. Overall, a great stay that I would happily recommend.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’Hotel Villa Romeo. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant, chaleureux et toujours aux petits soins, ce qui nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison dès notre arrivée. L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour découvrir Catane. Nous avons pu visiter le centre historique à pied sans avoir à nous soucier de la voiture, un vrai confort dans cette ville. Nous avons également adoré la magnifique cour intérieure, véritable havre de paix. C’est un endroit exceptionnel, plein de charme, où il est très agréable de prendre le petit-déjeuner. Celui-ci est d’ailleurs excellent, varié et composé de produits de qualité. La chambre était confortable, l’ambiance paisible malgré la proximité du centre, et l’ensemble du séjour a été parfait. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans la moindre hésitation à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Catane dans les meilleures conditions.

Odalar temiz, personel ilgili ve güler yüzlü, konumu gayet güzel, fiyatı da uygun bir oteldi. Kahvaltısı güzel ve yeterliydi.

Die Lage war sehr gut - direkt bei zwei Busbahnhöfen (Hauptbahnhof und "Fernbusse"), das Zimmer war ruhig und das historische Gebäude mit den Innenhöfen schön. Ich konnte mein Gepäck auch kostenlos lagern, was sehr praktisch war, da ich einen ungeplanten Zusatztag (Flugausfälle) in Catania hatte und erst Abends mit dem Fernbus nach Palermo zum Flughafen fahren konnte. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, einer der Mitarbeiter konnte sogar recht gut deutsch. Von meinem Zimmer aus konnte ich über eine Tür direkt in einen kleinen Innenhof gelangen, der beschattet war. Eine schöne Stimmung mit einigem Grün. Zum Stadtzentrum gelangt man nach knapp 20 Minuten Gehzeit, was trotz Hitze für mich in Ordnung war.

Das Einzelzimmer war wirklich sehr klein und eher eine "Abstellkammer". Kein Platz für einen Stuhl, meine Reisetasche konnte ich nicht einmal richtig öffnen. Ein sehr schmales Bett, zum Glück bin ich klein. Für eine Nacht zwar o.k., aber für mehrere Nächte würde ich dieses Zimmer nicht nutzen wollen...

We loved it! Location was great, its near main bus station so its very easy to find hotel. Its 15-20 min walk to city center/ shopping area. Rooms are BEAUTIFUL ! nicely decorated and comfortable. Lady at breakfast is nice and welcoming while recepction stuff is kind and helpful! Diego from recepction was so welcoming and nice to us,as well as other members of the team. We know where we will be staying again thats for sure! :)

Good, old-fashioned hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was cleaned to a high standard every day and the bathroom and shower were good. Breakfast in the courtyard was plentiful with lots of choices. A great hotel, very near the station and very good value for money.

The location was great for travellers and very close to the train station in Catania.

Very unique hotel with a lot of character. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and the outside sitting area was lovely. The hotel is right across the street from the train station which is convenient if you are walking to and from the train t at action. There is about a 15 minute walk to the historic district and restaurants. I would stay here again.

I like that it was very close to the train station. The room was big. The breakfast and coffee were very good. The staff was nice to work with in person.

The blow dryer was older and didn’t get hot or blow out much air. The hotel is a little far from some of the better places to see and eat, at night can be a little sketchy. Although the staff was responsible and respectful in person, they were not very responsive to messages or emails.

We were just there for a one night short visit as we flew into Catania and took the train out the next morning. That said, the hotel is right across the street from the central train station making it very convenient if you have train travel plans. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious, out on the beautiful Terraza.

Walking distance from central station/airport Alibus. Also breakfast was nice.

My room (121) was noisy due to water tubes running through it. Missed at least 4 hours of sleep because of that. The staff were just "sorry" about it. Never coming back again here.

The staff serving breakfast and the breakfast courtyard was good.

If you stay here, make sure you do not have room 121. A fountain in the neighbouring property ran all night meaning very little sleep was had.

Quite dated hotel that is need of an update. However everything else makes for a lovely stay in Catania. Close to the station, big room, fabulous staff and a delightful breakfast courtyard. The breakfast was also excellent. Needed to be a little further away from the main road as it’s noisy. A room facing the courtyard would be better. Book directly with hotel if you can, for a better rate.

Furnishings were a bit dated but still comfortable. Beds were good. Would definitely stay here again.

Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived well before check in time and were able to store our luggage. Clean large room with balcony and the shower had plenty of hot water plus a kettle was kindly delivered to my room on request. Breakfast was relatively basic with alfresco tables available on the terrace. Short walk from the train station with buses and metro close by.

Mattress was terrible which is the only negative part of my stay as everything else about this hotel was fantastic.

Delayed check-in - room wasn't ready. Advertised as having a bar but was told it only opened from 7pm-10pm. Tried to access a bar at around 7:10pm but there was no evidence of anyone running a bar. The room was quite dark even with the lights on
