Great location, love the quirky style of the hotel, great shower and really great staff. Hats off to antonella and katie, and the lovely lady at breakfast.

My one negative was that there was no variation at breakfast and after 4 nights it was a bit boring. But this did not distract from our stay.

A small reasonably priced hotel in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the train station. Lovely decor and very attentive staff.

The quirky decor and size of our room. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good and the hotel was convenient for the station.

It was further from the centre of town than we'd realised and the locality is a bit run down. We were advised to take a bus to the airport which was ridiculously slow compared to a one-stop train journey.

The staff here are wonderful, we received a very warm welcome after a long travel day. Our room was spacious and secure with a great renovated ensuite. Close to the station and an easy walk to the Duomo and surrounds. Good restaurants near by. The breakfast is excellent. The artwork is interesting! Don’t let the surrounding streets put you off, this is a gem once inside.

Hotel muy moderno y bonito. El personal muy atento. Está a 5 minutos de las estaciones de autobús y tren.

El ambiente del barrio. El hotel está a unos 20 minutos del centro y hay mucha suciedad en las calles y el ambiente da sensación de barrio deprimido, aunque sin ningún problema. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta.

Very different. Rooms were multilevel but very comfortable. Katty at the front desk was excellent and very attentive. We were 5 mature couples traveling together and there were gazebos with the outdoor furniture outside to hang out in

It wasn’t really in the thick of the central area

The room was clean and nice, the bed was very comfy. The staff was very welcoming - let us leave the bags after checkout until we had to go to the airport, as well helped with all the questions we had. The breakfast was good but nothing special. Location of the hotel close to bus and train station.

The accommodation was so helpful and communicative, especially as our flight was delayed 24 hours due to the volcano. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was really good. The location is about a 10 min taxi ride and cost about 15 euro.

Gli spazi dell'hotel in generale sono molto ampi. La camera era molto ampia, con soppalco. Il letto e i cuscini comodissimo. Il personale gentilissimo ci ha fornito molte informazioni. La zona è comoda per i mezzi e alcuni edifici dell'università ma non è centrale.

In estate la camera con soppalco può essere molto calda, anche se si utilizza il condizionatore. La colazione sotto le mie aspettative.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were exceptional and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us, we really appreciated how friendly, welcoming and helpful they were throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The location was central and convenient for getting around. Breakfast was fairly basic, but perfectly sufficient and had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, a lovely stay, made especially memorable by the wonderful staff.

Viesnīcas atrašanās vieta tikai 6 min. gājiena attālumā no centrālās stacijas, 20 minūtes līdz ieteiktajiem apskates objektiem. Viesnīca atvērta visu diennakti.

Liked · An oasis ìn a simple, quite backstreet of Catania, away from the bustle but within easy walking distance of the historic centre (15 minutes or so). Also, local neighbourhood full of character, and slowly being redeveloped - feels completely safe at night, good lighting. Wonderful local family restaurant just around the corner - Osteria dal Panda - mainly locals, good food especially seafood, and prices, and excellent service. Hotel rooms are creatively designed, split level, comfortable, and restaurant is a spacious, airy restored interior of the historic site, opening out onto a sunny private courtyard. Breakfast offers full choices. Room includes a kettle, fridge as well as effective air.con. The charming host has created an artistic environment, and is an engaging advocate for the cultural life of Catania, in which she has played an active role as a jazz singer. Hotel is just five minutes from waterside regeneration cultural complex in repurposed sulphur factory : an arts venue, with performances, cinema museum, and museum of the WW2 allied liberation landings. Airport shuttle bus stop just three minutes away (it does a loop around the town centre, and tickets good for 90 minutes), and rail, bus (- long and short distance) and subway stations under ten minutes away. Who needs a car in Catania!

Car parking might be a problem - street parking possible - but for me arriving by train and leaving by airport shuttle not an issue

It is a 15 minute walk to the main square and it felt unsafe at night. We opted to use the taxis to get around.

Alles hat mir gut gefallen! Das Personal war sehr nett und ließ uns gratis einen early Check-in machen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, alle Annehmlichkeiten funktionieren gut (Fernseher, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Klimaanlage). Das Badezimmer war groß, schön und sauber. Das Bett war sehr kuschelig besonders die Bettdecke und alles hat frisch gewaschen gerochen. Kunstliebhaber kommen auch voll auf ihre Kosten. Über jedem Bett ist die Tapete ein anderes Meisterwerk, welches auch auf einer kleinen Broschüre beschrieben wird. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und hat keinen Wunsch offen gelassen, außer vielleicht eine Eierspeis. Getränke aus der Minibar waren auch nicht teuer. Alles war wirklich wunderbar und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Außergewöhnlich tolles Hotel! Sieht von der Straße nicht so aus, aber überrascht aufs Positivste im Inneren. Personal sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Frühstück tolles Angebot. Zimmer sehr großzügig, sauber und dem Namen des Hotels entsprechen gestaltet.

Great hotel located very close to the central station, making it perfect for a 1-night stay before traveling further. The room was surprisingly large and comfortable. The breakfast is simple, but features really good coffee and delicious croissants.

Siamo stati una notte.ho prenotato 3 camere e pur troppo solo una era poco meglio. Di cui una era pessima.con letto sopra e sotto e sopra nn si respirava dal caldo che faceva. L'aria sopra nn arrivava per niente. E poi era piena di formiche.la signora ci ha dato un spray ma io nn devo occuparmi io.e poi piena di capelli per terra. Mi dispiace ma nn tornerei. Un po di pulizie meglio potrebbe fare. Colazione basico.....

A lovely spacious clean hotel, with a great outside space for relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection. Very close to the train and bus station. 15-20 minutes walk to the centre.

Not much but half hour late checkout was appreciated.

1) We arrived very late and were given a room with two major problems: First, our original booking of a standard double room was cancelled three days before due to a 'plumbing problem' and replaced by this split level room which, inconveniently, had the bathroom on the lower level. Second, and even worse, the air conditioning was completely inadequate for the room which made sleep virtually impossible due to the heat. 2) The night receptionist insisted on us paying but we had already paid through Booking.com. This was unnecessary hassle considering we had arrived at midnight. 3) Breakfast was of low quality and lacked choice.

Half hour late checkout appreciated.

1) Room not very attractive with an awkward arch in the middle. One end of each of the curtains had come loose from the curtain rail. This let in light in the early morning but, worse, it shows poor attention to detail by the management. The toilet seat was also damaged. 2) Breakfast was poor. The quality was not good and the choices were very limited and mostly unhealthy.

Very near the railway station and several museums. Great decor and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast area was clean. Room was clean with a powerful shower.

The smoke alarms flashed continually, not a problem in the day but at night it lit up the room like strobe lighting!!!

Le stanze mansardate al 2° piano nonostante il condizionatore sono troppo calde.

Hotelul e la 5 minute de gara si de autogara. Accesul la autobuze e foarte facil. Camera a fost curata si dotata cu tot ce era nevoie. Micul dejun a fost in stil italian, dar suficient. Doamnele de la receptie au fost extrem de amabile si ne-au ajutat cu sfaturi sau recomandari de excursii. Per total am avut 4 zile minunate.

Nu exista nimic negativ.

Sehr hübsches Hotel ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig zur Altstadt. Saubere Zimmer, bequemes Bett, klasse Dusche, täglich frische Handtücher. Gratis Wasser zur Ankunft. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück. Toller Cappuccino. Arrangement (20 €) mit einem Lido am Strand mit Transfer, was wir gern bei der Hitze in Anspruch genommen haben. Konversation in Englisch war prima.

Es fehlte etwas Herzhaftes zum Frühstück. Der Schrank in unserem Zimmer war kaputt und ließ sich kaum öffnen. Aber wir sind klar gekommen.

La ubicación cerca de la Estacion de tren y bus ideal si te mueves en transporte público. Cómodísimo para ir al aeropuerto. Del centro un poco más alejado aunque nosotros íbamos caminando. La amabilidad del personal es exquisita, especialmente la persona que atiende el desayuno y las de recepción. La limpieza muy buena. La habitación silenciosa ideal para el descanso.

No puedo decir que haya algo que no me gustó. Sí puedo sugerir que estaría bien un mini bar en la recepción que está abierta 24/7, ya que en los alrededores no hay muchas opciones para hacer un café o refresco.

Das Zimmer besteht aus zwei Ebenen, wobei das Bett und Badezimmer nur über eine steile Treppe zugänglich ist. Die Zugangsstraße ist sehr schlecht und in einem tragischen Zustand.

The room, and the hotel itself are beautiful. The room was also very quiet. The staff was very accommodating-they opened breakfast 15 minutes early so we could eat before our tour.

The area around the hotel is rough. Don't be put off by it - the hotel is great.

It was quiet, clean & had some of the best quality linen I’ve come across on the beds. We loved the mezzanine level bedroom & the wall art. The breakfast was amazing, as were the staff. They were so approachable & helpful. The lift was an unexpected plus too! It is close to the bus & train station, which was great when traveling by public transport.

The surrounding neighbourhood was a bit tired & unkempt, but easy enough to navigate through.

Kleines Hotel in unscheinbarer Lage. Das äußere täuscht erst einmal. Alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Nettes freundliches Personal. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt zu empfehlen. Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe vorhanden.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, I needed to do some work while there and there was a desk and chair separate from the sleeping area that was perfect. The vibe was super charming, I loved the posters and photos and all the nods to my favorite movies and shows.

Il manquait une ampoule dans la salle de bain qui de fait était un peu sombre.

Voor ons was de locatie belangrijk omdat we het hotel boekten om de dag erna met het openbaar vervoer naar de luchthaven te gaan. Hiervoor is de ligging echt perfect. Dichtbij en toch weg uit de drukte. Nette, geen te grote kamer maar je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt. Vriendelijke ontvangst en receptie die 24u / 24 geopend is. Verrassende binnenruimte met ruime ontbijtzaal. Ontbijtbuffet.

The staff was exemplary! Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was generous with fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, cold meat and cheese and made to order cappuccino.

It was a on a small side street that was not well known. But it was definitely lovely. There are stairs in some of the bedrooms
