DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly

clean

everything was ok

Convenient , good staff , nice room

Nothing

The location

The room and the view and the facilities. There was broken items in the bathroom and mold around the sealed area. Newish outside and old inside. And the profe for this wa very high. The shower is less then average very poor set up and the toilet has no brush? I was not happy of the selection of breakfast for this price was very average and the coffee machine was broken and did not have any alternative. Fruits selection was very poor too and the granola pots were only fake yogurts.

Close to station and easy walking distance

Nothing

Location lovely hotel, clean modern, great breakfast which was included in price and warm cookies on arrival ☺️

A quality hotel in a fantastic location. The room was spacious, clean and well laid out.

Nothing

The hotel was very clean and all the staff was very polite. Very central!

Last weekend i stayed at Hilton Madrid, and the breakfast is lots better! This one could be a lot better. Pure orange juice would be a smarter choice as example.

Bed was very comfortable / nice television in room . Breakfast was good overall

The fried eggs were overdone and slightly firm /rubbery. It would have been nice to have running yokes

Everything

Nothing

I live on a high floor and I can still hear the sound of trams.

Location. I expected it to be a bit noisy due to a major railway station directly across the road plus tram lines at the back of the building. I was wrong. A lot quieter than I expected.

Nothing.

Room was good except the aircon was out of action. It rained so this didnt really matter

Everything was just what I would expect.

Great breakfast, great staff

Amazing quality breakfast with a lot of choice. Check-in warm cookie was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Excellent location

Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Breakfast really good. Mini bar a lovely bonus.

Room not ready on arrival and still waiting an hour later (4.30pm) though given a complimentary drink and then cases stored so we could go out. No bath towels in the room had to ask. We had DBB deal and the set menu was limited and second night struggling to pick something different, not everyone wants squid for a start for example.

It was ok. Very close to the station. Room was decent and clean and breakfast was good.

The whole hotel is very generic. The decor is generic, the restaurant is bog standard hipster style. Not a big problem tho

Exceptionally clean, friendly staff and right next to the train station.

Sehr zentral. Gutes Frühstück. Hilfsbereites nettes Personal

.

Location. Mattress

The security guard was really agressive and rude for no reason.

Excellent breakfast, perfect location, very comfortable room

My wife lived the mattress. She wants us to buy one now. Great city centre location.

The food no included in the dinner option wasn’t great. Not much choice, tough inedible steak. I expected better from a 4* Hilton. More effort required

Beliggenhet

Null AC på rommene. Var 25 grader når vi skulle sove.

Very nice hotel

Its advertised as free parking when you book Then when you book they tell you they only have 20 free spaces on first come basics So we had to pay an additional parking fee which made an over night stay quiet expensive

Great location

Everything

Tables a bit close at breakfast

Location

Staff were great especially Tara in reception. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff responded quickly when I needed something.

Reception space was limited. It would be good to have a relaxing space to wait for train etc.

Great location. Lovely room. Very modern. Friendly staff. Lovely clean room with all the necessary amenities.

The aircon was broken so the room was very warm. The little window had to be shut because of the traffic and outdoor, and sign cleaning noise. Also, the beds were a little too hard. It's a Great size bed, though. Could have done with a sheet option as the duvet with the heated room was impossible to use. Even with the aircon finally fixed, the room was still 27.9 degrees and wasn't able to change it.

Hotel bem localizado e confortavel

Na nossa estadia o ar-condicionado estava quebrado, ponto negativo na minha estadia.

When I arrived at the Double Tree by Hilton I was stunned how beautiful place was. I am not used to such amazing and fancy hotels so I felt a little bit weird. When I approached reception I was greeted by very friendly girl ( wish I remember her name ). She was very friendly polite and helpful, made me feel so much better about whole experience. When I got into my room I was speechless, never seen such an amazing room in my life. I know for sure if I ever need to stay in hotel I will be looking to book with Double Tree by Hilton

That i was there for only one night haha Honestly there is nothing I can think I didn't like about my stay

Parking in City Center / canal street district... Breakfast with above average Espresso , poached egg and fried egg. Helpful staff with late checkout and car park options.

Air condition could have worked better/ at all during heat wave, no problem though.

Great location and reasonably sized rooms. The rooms and bathroom were clean and well appointed. The hotel staff was very helpful and we were able to check in earlier in the morning as our flight landed around 8am.

The breakfast could have been better. While the options and spread were very good, they had the same items every day. As we were staying for 5 days, it got a bit repetitive.

Very comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom. Friendly and efficient staff on reception and in the bar and restaurant Excellent location opposite Piccadilly station Decent quality and varied breakfast

Unfortunately the hotel's entire aircon system was out of order for the duration of my stay, which was during a heatwave in the UK. I was not informed of this upon check-in and only discovered this the following morning after appalling sleep. They then provided a small fan, but the room was still way too hot. They did not offer any discount even when I asked at checkout. The bar area is dominated by large TV screens with sport on. Absolutely ruins the atmosphere! Luckily the Mal bar opposite was much nicer.

Pillows were too soft

We arrived to find that there was no air conditioning working in the whole of the hotel. This had been a problem since the weekend but no one had contacted us to advise if the situation. In the heat wave which the country is having this was totally unacceptable! Not even a fan to be offered.

Location, clean

No shower cap or soap. Only liquid soap.

Helpful receptionist, spacious room with walk-in shower, huge comfortable bed, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast.

Nothing

The suite was spacious and clean. There’s plenty of transport links surrounding the hotel, so it’s ideal for concerts (could see Etihad from our room!) In the suite we had two beds, large bathroom, two tables and a ‘complimentary’ mini bar.

The fact I paid so much money for the room to then be told at reception that the room is ready but check in is in one hour. We were told we had to pay to access the room or hang around for an hour. Usually wouldn’t mind leaving the bags but why tell us? And why charge someone who has paid a significant amount already! Scam!

Very centre location, clean, and good breakfast

Nothing

Excellent breakfast selection on offer

The room service catering needs to improve. Very little fishing the batter, very little chicken in the batter also

Alles was ge,woon goed en inorde

Hoofdkussen waren veel te zacht. Gaven niet echt steun.

Nice touches like warm cookies on check in . The service and staff very friendly

Nothing

Clean, smart, comfortable and very friendly staff. No complaints whatsoever 👍

I’m usually quite critical and not shy about complaining when I feel things are not right. I can’t think of one thing I wasn’t happy with at this hotel. Easy check-in with very friendly staff. Lovely clean and smart room (705). Comfortable bar with lovely staff and good food (we both had the burgers) and great selection at breakfast (one very small gripe was the fried breakfast, although satisfactory, could do with being a bit hotter).

Hotel is nice and clean

I called room services they brought a bottle of coke with no bottle opened, I called and asked for one was told there is one in the fridge, there wasn't. I called again to ask for one 20 mins passed no sign I called again I answered the door the lady had 2 bottles of water, I explained its a bottle opener I needed she said call, I again called and then the lasy who passed the bottle opener to me handed it to me said nothing and walked off in a mood like I had ruined her day. Wasn't a good experience

Everything. Nothing was too much trouble. We messaged them straight away as I needed a fan in my room otherwise I cannot sleep, they immediately told me they could do this for me, whereas other property’s struggled getting one and another provided me with a broken one so was nice for them to accommodate me. Staff are so lovely and happy. The rooms were spotless and really clean. We stayed in a standard queen room and the bed was massive, so comfy and soft. We slept like a baby. The hotel bar is decently priced especially for town. I liked the security of only allowed going in the elevator if you had a room key. Overall amazing stay, best hotel we have stayed at by far and will 100% be coming back again!

Nothing.

The locality and being so close to the station.

Very hard to flush the toilet. The pushing mechanism was very difficult to work.

Very clean, friendly staff. Near to city centre.

Right next door to Manchester Piccadilly Station, lots of places to eat and drink around and only a short walk to main streets. Very comfortable and large bed. Good breakfast.

Soft pillows

The food was great

The staff were all amazing they helped me set up the room for my now girlfriend it wouldn't have been possible without them so thank you

Nothing

Lovely room, great location, and very good service from all staff we encountered

Staff were very friendly

We were given a disabled room And it flooded

Great location, 3 mins walk from Piccadilly. Comfy bedding, good breakfast. Friendly staff.

I was late to book in was meant to be there around 1am put my flight was delayed so didn't get there till 3.30 am the first thing the night porter said was would I like a free late check out . A could not but was nice to have it overed , lovely place to stay near Piccadilly station and the centre of the city

Friendly staff, easy check in

Shower gel was empty when we checked in. Not noticed until in the shower. Not ideal.

Location. Clean and tidy

Clean bright and airy

Excellent location. Very clean rooms. Great breakfast. The bacon was fantastic!

Nothing. Slightly expensive. Shower head holder was broken.

Great location and lovely view of the city.

Clean, comfortable, close to the station, great breakfast

Location was great and beds super comfy. The staff were helpful in trying to resolve issues

The air con unit was very noisy and went off loudly every 5 mins through night and had very bad sleep during my stay

I liked how easy it was to check in and out and the size of the room. The room was really big and the bed was very comfortable, had a very good night's sleep. We ate in the restaurant which the food was really nice in the evening and the breakfast was superb.

I didn't like that you only gave 2 coffee sachets for our room just wasn't enough. The price of the drinks are very expensive and seriously over priced. The TV remote in the room was faulty so couldn't change the channels.

Bed was ok

Cleanliness in the lounge, car park difficult to navigate through from the entrance as our car got scratched. The scrambled eggs was not well cooked considering we Africans that liked well cooked eggs. Juice wasn't fresh, this was one of the reasons I go to hilton. The a/c wasn't good

Beautiful, wonderful breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful

L'accueil

Insonorisation insuffisante.

The staff, very helpful,

Fantastic location opposite the station. Lots of places to eat nearby. Really nice rooms and staff were incredible.

Muito boa, qualidade do serviço e do quarto.

It was in a good location the hotel was clean and the beds was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly

Great location, wonderful staff, upgraded me to a fantastic high-floor corner room with incredible views. Great breakfast. Everything was super clean and very quiet.

Nothing.

The room was nice but very overpriced . For nearly £700 you would expect breakfast included to say the least. Staff on reception were really helpful.. location was really good.

The fact on our second day the room didn’t get cleaned till gone 4pm which was very disappointing considering I have spent all this money on the stay. I had to tell reception on the way out that night. When I returned at 11 pm we had fresh everything little too late!!! One young lady serving behind the bar was a little rude, didn’t catch her name.

Location was fab. Nice touch doing drinks whilst waiting to check in. The restaurant, bar and lounge was very nice. I also liked the size of our room.

It was all very good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant and breakfast was gorgeous!
