It smelled musty, but the manager, Paul, was able to transfer us to another room right away. However, even the hallway also smelled damp and musty. Also, they did not issue an official invoice or receipt.

The Ascott is a fantastic 5 star hotel in Makati. This is a great hotel if it's your first or many trips to Manila. After 2 great stays within a 9 month period it's time to drop a review Lobby & Check In: I've always booked directly through the hotel's website and had zero issues. The lobby is located on the 7th floor, so you pass through security on the first floor and I love this. The main lobby is gorgeous with a massive 4 story ceiling. The mesclun restaurant & Cafe is showcased in the lobby. There are sofas and table to lounge in as you check in with the attendants seated at their work desks. Mesclun Restaurant & Cafe: The breakfast buffet is what'd you expect from this type of hotel. Great selection from local to international breakfast options. Plenty of staff to ensure tables are turned quickly. I'd suggest going earlier versus later to beat the breakfast rush. The dinner menu is simple but all the dishes were tasty. Local and non-local dishes to satisfy all visistors Gym: Clean, modern and plenty of equipment. It's located on the same floor of the lobby and the staff has always been friendly. I visit here right after stuffing myself at the breakfast buffet at Mesclun. Amazing convenience. 1 Bedroom Premier Suite is my go-to every visit: 893 Square feet 1 King bed & Separate living and dining area Fully equipped kitchenette Washer and dryer Housekeeping is always on point and friendly. I love the working area in the master bedroom and there's plenty of storage space. Location: The best part of the Ascott imo. It's directly connected to Glorietta mall. Which also connects to Landmark which will connect you to Greenbelt Shopping mall. SM Makati and One Ayala mall are also connected/walkable. Everything you need is connected to the Ascott. The drop off/Pick up area is easy to get to for pick up as well. This is my home base every time I visit Manila. You get amazing value for the overall package the Ascott Makati offers. I'll be back there sooner versus later. Ingat

This was our 4th time checking in at Ascott, but our first time having dinner at Mesclun Restaurant and Café — and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We’ve always enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with its wide variety of dishes that never fail to impress. This time, we decided to try dinner, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We ordered bulgogi, sisig spaghetti, pizza, California maki, truffle soup, and chicken buttermilk — each dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The service was also commendable. Emman assisted us right away, making sure we felt welcomed and attended to throughout our meal. His attentiveness added to the overall positive dining experience. Overall, Mesclun continues to deliver both in variety and quality, whether for breakfast or dinner. It’s a place that makes every stay at Ascott even more memorable.

Had breakfast with clean pool view and was taken good care by James, Deo and Andrew. Ashley, Kim and Riza were very welcoming. And thanks to Vincent, Ryan and Marvin for the assistance while we enjoy the place and the food and good conversation.

I had a wonderful stay in Ascott all the staff are courteous,professionally behaved and pleasant,helpful from housekeepin,engineering concierge and all the front desk staff esp Cheska ,most esp in the restaurant of ascott namely Kenneth Dean,vin,miggy,Ryan,angelo,Lorenz,and James and the rest . Highly commendable all the staff of the resto from the chefs to the server to the receptionist.

Location was great, right at Glorietta 4 entrance. Lots of shopping and food options in the many malls. Room was large. Staff were very friendly. We didn't eat at the hotel buffet as we were only there for a couple of days and wanted to eat at various restaurants.

Makati is the business center of Manila. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall so food n restaurants are easily approachable. We used Grab to visit other places like SM Mall of Asia and Greenhill, therefore the location suited us. Hotel has an excellent gym. I couldnt book rooms with breakfast, not sure why, so I cant comment on breakfast options. Staff is extra cordial. Overall we loved the stay

I've got just one word in my experience with Ascott Makati: AMAZING! I WAS A HOTELIER from an adjacent facility once upon a time, and I should know what service meant. My fam and I are "Hotel–Hoppers," and I can assure you we were extremely pleased by the way we were treated- on a very important event for us (FATHERS' DAY, 21 June 2026): 1. Hotel staff was extremely helpful! 2. Facilities within reach and not one area was without an attendant! 3. Bedroom door was accidentally locked with no one inside to open it- 2x. Called Room Service for a rescue and, voila- a staff came knocking for SOS- 2X! Kudos to the guy who went to fix it! (You could ask who it was.. Didn't get a chance to ask him, though. 4. A fam-gang member went to the outdoor basketball court within the premises, went back to the room to report that there was some sort of contest (since it was Fathers' Day). Since all of us have a knack for basketball, we all headed to the court to try our luck. We were given a chance by CHRISTINE JANE MARTIN to a volley of shots and we were handed tokens (that I'd rather not say for spoiler reasons 😁) which doubled the fun and excitement right after! (You should treat her to a free night's stay - with dinner - for being very, very cordial! 🥰) 5. Parking was never a problem!* 6. Security to the entrance was extremely respectful and even guided and assisted us in our queries! Hard rain in the late afternoon towards the evening (due to inclement weather) may have dampened our shoulders and shoes, but overall, we were never disheartened by the service and warm and cozy treatment that ASCOTT HOTEL treated us to! *Although the Exit Cashier charged and wanted to collect a hefty sum from us on our way out. When I asserted that we were guests, she "double-checked" our validated ticket and were eventually released (within 30secs) without having to pay (HEY.. We were guests, right! 😉) Thank you for your kindness. We'll see you around sometime!

I had a great experience with our family. We had spa night and the staff were super nice and helpful. Dining in at Mesclun during breakfast and afternoon coffee was so comfortable due to help of Dean. He was very accommodating and funny and nice. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable and nice. Hope to stay again here next year!

The staff were so nice. The room is excellent. It has amenities needed for longer staycation. The space feels like you are in your own house so my friends enjoyed our bonding time.

Hotel & Mesclun staff was amazing!! Ryan, Kenneth, Riza, Dean (Supervisor), Aizel and all the amazing chefs who made our buffet breakfast such a feast, everyday!! Service was superb, professional and super friendly!! Jenny and the Front Desk team are all top notch!! Will definitely book again!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent food and a beautiful ambiance! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed dinner, I ordered Angus beef burger and it was so delicious. Thanks to Sir Jasson and the supervisor Sir Deo, for the great service!

Another great weekend stay. Entrance point within the newly renovated Glorietta mall complex. Even the serviced residence seem dated, it is still well maintained. In fact some of their suites are already redesigned. Eco friendly initiatives still enforced . The pool, fitness center and even a barbershop still there. The one bedroom suite was well furnished, with complete amenities made for longer stays. Even there was no Nespresso machine, they have a smart Tv option available . Room service and spa also can be arranged. Breakfast buffet was sufficient not compromising quality in their partner restaurant. Staff security were good. Also grateful to Front desk for not hesitating to give me a 1 pm checkout. Gelo of FD was very polite in handling my check in and out process.

Location is auperb. Shopping malls are all around and one is right down on a ground floor and very safe area. Staff is excellent.

Location was GREAT! Breakfast was OK! The room was spacious, clean, the coffee maker and water container a very nice feature! Staff quite, gracious, friendly and professional, always willing to help!!! OH! THE GYM WAS THE BEST OF ANY HOTEL GYM WE HAVE USED. i HAVE TO SAY THE LIFE FITNESS IS MY PREFERRED GYM EQUIPMENT; TRULY ENJOYED OUR WORKOUT THERE.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the upgrade when first staying there was a great feature to want us to stay again and ultimately become a member. One thing that I feel needs to be addressed by your IT staff is to fix the problem we had of your system allowing us to become members and ability to access by our electronic devices. Can't do it, and your reception staff told us to just call. She tried a few times to try and correct the problem but was unsuccessful!

Allora della struttura mi è piaciuto soprattuto la posizione, super comoda per spostarti (andare in aeroporto, o a BGC) ma soprattuto perché vicino c’era il mall e diversi ristoranti. Quindi in sé molto pratica. È un hotel perfetto per chi viaggia sia per piacere che per lavoro.

Le camere sono un po’ datate ma questo perché l’hotel è in sé in fase di rinnovo.

Had a lovely staycation to celebrate my mother's birthday. It was so nice to be in a 2 br suite with a living room where we could gather - vs being in separate rooms. Service was exceptional. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Staff were nice and friendly. The place is clean and also it is a great location.

For a very spacious apartment, the bathroom is tiny. We tried most of the dishes on the room service menu and though the service is quick, the food is poor. Not one dish was enjoyable or worth the price.
