This was absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable. The night-shift employee made no effort to help me get into my room. My friend was already asleep inside the room with both key cards, and I had no way to open the door or wake him up. Instead of helping me find a solution or verifying that I was a registered guest, the front desk employee simply refused to let me into the hotel. I ended up having to search for another hotel at 3:00 AM after several failed attempts at other properties, and I had to spend an additional $600. My phone battery was also dying, and the front desk employee still made no real effort to assist me. This situation should never have happened. The lack of willingness to help a guest was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I will never stay at this hotel again.

My husband didn’t like the breakfast- food quality. The required valet parking was ridiculously priced. Stayed at another hotel a couple of years ago and the parking wasn’t anywhere near this cost.

Very unhappy with hotel. 1. Arrived at hotel address and couldn't get in the front door! Taxi left us at the address which was very clearly on the front of the building "310 4th Avenue South". I had to call the front desk to get someone to open the door and allow us to get out luggage in. No large sign saying to go around back. 2. The carpeting the lobby and hallways were very dirty. 3. The area carpet near where the breakfast was set up was frayed. 4. Asked if front desk could change a $100 bill to smaller bills and was told to go the valet as he might be able to change it. Fortunately, he kindly helped us out. 5. Ladie's room in the lobby area has baseboard missing and wall paper coming off the wall in the stall. 6. Laundry room was out of order. 7. The printer in the business center was out of paper and when I ask for a handful to replace it myself, I didn't even as anyone to put it in, I was told by the clerk at the desk to send him an email of what I wanted printed and he would do it!! What the hell??? I said no and he finally gave me a few pieces so I could print some boarding passes. 8. The bedroom set up is awful. You reserve a room to sleep a number of people and you have to change in a tiny water closet instead of having a wall that encloses the sink and mirror with the facilities! Who did they have that designed these rooms??? Family members, men and women of different ages, were sharing this room. 9. No waste basket in the water closet?? Must have been a man who decorated this place, who wasn't thinking of ladies and their needs! 10. They have a little kitchen area without a waste basket and the wastebaskets in the room are so small you can hardly put anything in them. Don't they understand that there will be waste when using a microwave? Think leftover containers. 11. Large desk/table but only one chair at it? Are you supposed to kneel on the floor? There was a love seat but far from the table. Remember, this room was supposed to sleep at least 4 maybe 6. 12. When we registered at the desk no one told us that we wouldn't have maid service (fresh towels) each day. Going by that, where the HELL were we supposed to hang them to dry for the next day??? One small towel rack in the water closet. Again, 4 to 6 people could fit in the room. Should we have hung them on the back the one chair? We saw a sign in the elevator that said renovations were happening on the 5th floor however; maybe they should be starting in the lobby to give a good, CLEAN impression to the guests upon arrival. The only thing about this place was the breakfast. Do not make plans to stay here for at least 5 years while they renovate!

Stayed one night on a family vacation. The location is very good - just 3 blocks south of Broadway. Breakfast was good and well attended by staff. The guest rooms reflect the heavy traffic / use of downtown Nashville - clean, but worn. With the insane pricing of downtown Nashville hotels, it just seems a bit out of sync, but in all honesty it's probably one of the better values in downtown (or at least it was at the time of our trip).

Lovely room. Very good breakfast. Awesome location. Was able to walk to all museums and Broadway. Exercise room was very good, also. Staff was helpful.

Parking is too expensive. $60 per night is ridiculous. We found a garage a few blocks away for half the price, which was also too expensive, but at least less than the hotel's price.

Dirty, old furniture in the lobby, ac in common areas not working. First room smelled like someone had recently smoked weed. They got us a different room.

It is really run down.. I paid almost 400 for 1 night after taxes and 60 for parking.. We stayed one night and it was pretty gross.. Like other reviews stated, it is extremely worn down.. Rusty hinges in the bathroom and paint missing on the walls in the bedroom. There were pieces of the ceiling chipping in the room.. The hallways and lobby were very warm.. Everything felt very dated and run down. Very disappointed. I have stayed at the Embassy a block over for the same price and it was wonderful. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

My partner and I had the best support and service from staff at the Hampton in Nashville. Our flight was delayed and when we arrived our actual hotel stay was overbooked and we didn't have a room for another 8 hours. We were so tired and needed to sleep because it was 14hrs of flying and around 24hrs no sleep because of time differences. Jackie on the front desk was so understanding and patient with us. We are Scottish and with a thick accent it was no easy job understanding us: Jackie was kind, conscientious and patient with us. This stay was the end of our honeymoon and having a room early check in meant we were able to enjoy our first night in Nashville. We are eternally grateful. Thank you to the team at Hampton Nashville, what a lovely staff you have, everyone we came across was polite, welcoming and professional just what we needed after a long journey with lots of hiccups. They were a reminder that kindness and humanity prevails. Thank you again!!!

Great stay! Room was great, staff was very nice and helpful. I had a change in travel plans and Marco was great helping me get it sorted out. Definitely recommend!

We isited Nashville for a short vacation of four days during the 250th America's birthday celebration. Great breakfast, great informational staff, great location to downtown (Broadway). We will book this location again in the future.

The lobby's furniture is outdated, dirty and ripped. Just terrible. This is the second Hampton Inn I've stayed at with the same situation. This one was the worst. Never again staying at a Hampton Inn. The hallways, elevators and lobby were so hot. Water pressure in the bathrooms was terrible. Our room door was loud and kept getting stuck. The faucets everywhere are oddly placed where it doesn't allow you to wash your hands or get soap correctly.

Location was great, not far from Broadway. Value was great, beds were comfortable. We didnt spend a lot of time in our room. Would recommend, especially of location. We had a large group staying it was wonderful.

The pillows on our bed were terrible and dirty linen was not collected our whole stay other than that the stay was great.

Stayed at Hilton for a concert, 2 rooms for 2 nights. Paid over $1,100 and used approx 500,000 Hilton points to stay near venue (prices surged due to concert I am guessing, normally $150/night). Every single piece of furniture in the lobby was torn, cracked, dirty, no where to sit comfortably. The pictures on their website show a nice area with a couch in lobby, there were no couches. The hallways to rooms without airconditiong and were miserable, which was unfortunate since the elevator took forever. Our balcony in our room had one lay down chair so only one of us could sit out there. The toilet didn't work properly, and the shower was massively damaged and cracks everywhere in it that were caulked. Went to get ice on 5th floor, no ice in machine. The laundry for guests was also out of order. A concierge texted how was my stay, when I explained above, she said a renovation is coming. I would suggest lowering your prices to the facilities experienced until it is complete.

First off, parking is an issue. We decided after a four hour tiring drive to just use their valet parking service - at $68 per night. Convenient, but . . . Anyway, check in was okay, but getting into the room itself, not so much. We required room service help to open the door for us. It turns out maintenance had installed the door latch upside down. Awkward, but again, once you know the secret, it worked. The hand held shower would not hold its position which was also unexpected and required adaptation. The bathroom in general looked like it needed an overall refreshing. Breakfast was adequate with nothing outstanding. All in all, the hotel was average at best, but next time we travel to Nashville we'll consider other close by options as a priority.

Very disappointed in this hotel. No AC in lobby or elevators, by the time I rode the elevator from floor 5 to lobby I was sweating! Rust & mold in bathroom. We will never stay here again. Very poor service as well. And $60 night to valet your car seems quite eco given the over priced room. Room says sleeps 4 but only one lounge chair on the balcony. Super disappointed!

I paid for a suite with a square Jacuzzi because I was gonna be there with my friends and we paid over $300 but got a smaller suite. We asked the girls from clean staff and they said they have the 627 suite wich is the one I paid for but we got the 614 wich is smaller!!! But still got charged as the big suite. So we are not going there anymore unless I get the refund of the suite that was charged extra

Staff upon entry were rude and unhelpful. Had reservation and some older employee stood watching tv while I tried to gain entry to fulfill reservation. Used valet so they could take care of parking. All valets told me price for parking and because they cant find real jobs they overcharged me to park.

This property was great! Walkable distance to everything downtown. The continental breakfast was also great. Beds were very comfortable. Valet staff was TOP notch!!

Maids only clean every other day. TV had only live tv available and not a smart tv so unable to log into streaming services. Hotel staff was friendly enough but didn’t go out of their way. A/C didn’t get cold enough despite adjusting the thermostat.

The carpeting seemed to be quite filthy, maybe because it was dated. The rest of the establishment was clean. I did not appreciate all the Spanish speaking staff. Some could not even answer simple questions when asked.

Location is excellent and pricepoint considering proximity to Nashville attractions is more than fair. Very clean and well maintained rooms, friendly staff considering the volume of patrons.

Hotel provides only valet parking and it is very expensive, but it is quick and easy to use and you feel good about leaving your vehicle with them as far as security.

30min vor Ankunft wurde uns das Zimmer storniert! Grund angeblich die Kreditkarte. Noch beim Anruf wurde uns eingestanden das es überbucht ist und keine Zimmer mehr frei sind. Also einfach ihr Problem gelöst und uns mit 4 Leuten sitzen lassen.

The room is comfortable, but the hallway and elevators were a tad bit muggy hot.

The location of the hotel was perfect - it was very close to places we wanted to visit on foot, and felt very safe for two women walking around at night. The staff were really friendly, and provided a lot of helpful recommendations for us.

The breakfast was fine, not enough savoury options and we were horrified to see how much plastic wastage there was - plastic cutlery and crockery, and apples wrapped in cling film. The room was large but a little tired.

Our stay was perfectly fine...good breakfast buffet with lots of choices, nice room, fairly quiet, friendly staff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it really needs a renovation of the common areas (and some features of the room needed a little sprucing up - for example, there was not a plug for the bathtub - so I had to use the rubber non slip mat over the drain to fill up the tub) The furniture in the lobby and breakfast seating area is really tattered. Some built in banquette benches were literally shredded. It didn't bother me that much, but if they could fix that, it would be top notch.
