Actual beachfront.Staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Older Hotel and still had to care with the need for attention to some things that need to be repaired.

The buffet was not that great. The pool was an operatable as they had an issue and they had to repair it, but those things do happen

Great location Good breakfast

Argument with front office manager about providing extra water beyond 2 bottles of 335ml during my stay. She made unnecessary argument about charging for water, which no other hotels of similar standard had done over my 4 weeks stay in Vietnam. Penny wise pound foolish. The hotel lost my 40 says stay which I confirmed with another Hotel 1 km away. Idiots no business sense.

The staff made me feel at home and remembered the little things like my birthday. Our room was huge and the air-conditioning was great. Was close to the ocean and view was fantastic!

The Fitness center might need some work but it was still usable.

Impressive and delicious breakfast, huge variety of food!You notice it is not a new hotel, but it is very comfortable and the staff is super nice and friendly!

On the beach

Poor response to emails sent through bookings.com and to hotel directly. I tried to book May1st anniversary dinner in rooftop restaurant two weeks in advance. I was told it was totally booked due to celebrations. I later found out it was not booked at all. We did go there twice and were the only guests each time.

Very friendly and helpful (front-desk, check-in and restaurant) staffs.

There wasn't anything that bothered us, accept walking across the street without traffic lights.

l’accueil tout le personnel est au petits soins l’emplacement entre ville et calme avec le petit parc juste en bas génial pour les enfants avec les jeux illuminés en fin de journée le rapport qualité prix le café excellent (cappuccino ou ice coffee with milk très bon) l’hôtel à le confort nécessaire tout en gardant le charme d’une certaine authenticité et la plage est aux portes de l’hôtel c’est formidable

le rooftop mériterait d’être mieux aménagé et mettre une partie à l’abri du vent la salle de sport le tapis de course était en maintenance mais c’est déjà bien d’avoir des poids à disposition

Schöne Lage direkt am Strand mit Zugang zum Meer. Gutes Zimmer, groß genug und sauber. Frühstück war mehr asiatisch, dazu gab es Toast, Eier usw. Es war also etwas zum satt werden dabei.

die lage ist ausgezeichnet. das frühstücksbuffet ist abwechslungsreich. die rooftopbar ist etwas verwaist doch die herzliche barkeeperin macht‘s wett. dem kilometerlangen sandstrand entlang marschieren hält dich fit. oder du schliesst dich den quy nhoner/innen an, die ab 5am / 5pm ihr fitnessprogramm am beach und auf der promenade absolvieren. ein stop in quy nhon lohnt sich alleweil, noch ist es ein „hidden place“, der sich der baustellen entsprechend rasch entwickelt.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming - the lemon welcome drink was delicious and we were also given a sweet treat at the end of our stay. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows were an added bonus. Lovely view from the balcony.

The rooftop bar was very tired and it was such a shame that there weren’t more people using the space and the view. We did find the area to be very quiet which was a shame as it was such a beautiful area.

Das war das bequemste Bett, das ich je hatte. Die Lage war super, wenn man direkt am Strand sein möchte. Ich hatte ein sehr günstiges Angebot. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und es hatte einnsehr grosses Angebot.

The hotel is very caring. They gave me a birthday cake on my birthday surprisingly. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Ms. Le, a cashier ò the restaurant took very good cares. She offer great serve at the breakfast. In general, everything was great

Staff was very helpful. It’s an old property on the ocean. It was comfortable for a one night stay. Food was ok but not great.

Limited restaurants that were open. It was fine for one night. Would choose a newer place next time.

On arrival at the hotel the welcome from Nguyen Thi Kieu was first class. Checking in was smooth and efficient. On seeing the allocated room on the 9th floor we asked to move to a room further away from the road. Kieu showed us two rooms on the same floor, one on each side of the building. We opted for room 10 as we would catch the sunsets and were overlooking the square rather than the small kiddies fair ground. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed with firm beds, two chairs and loads of table tops. My only adverse observation is that the plugs are dated and could do with upgrading to multi country plugs with usb connectors. There was one multi country plug built into the bracket for the hairdryer in the bathroom. Internet is also slow and at times flakey, dropping the connection but is good enough for posting to socials and sending WhatsApp messages, emails and WiFi calling. The hotel is well situated for the beach but only a short taxi ride to the centre of town. It’s great to find a hotel with a pool, backing directly onto the gorgeous beach and to have chairs and loungers by both the pool and on the beach. Pool towels were provided and there were toilets, showers and feet wash taps near the pool. A big plus is that each day there was a complimentary item in the room. On our arrival it was a small plate of cookies. On other days it was fresh fruit or cakes. We even had a joke left with the fruit on one day. This is such a lovely gesture. We dined in the restaurant twice during our stay and Tran Thi Hung Long made us feel as if we were the only people that mattered. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the food and produce being used in the meals and fun to chat to too. My favourite dish was the tuna steak, cooked to perfection and served with a delicious delicate sauce that complemented the fish perfectly (one of Long’s recommendations). I visited this city by chance and stayed in this hotel, it was a random selection. Later I found, I made a great selection. I had a wonderful stay in such a wonderful hotel, facing the ocean just about 50 meters from the ocean . Sound of waves breaking the shore , beach full of golden sand . My room was incredible , sea facing with all facilities at down to earth price. Every afternoon I was provided with fresh fruits right in the room with a smile. Morning breakfast was so good, I needed one hour or more to properly eat and preferred to skip my lunch . I was served fresh fruit juice right on my table. People were so nice, friendly and helpful. I wish I could stay a few more days. Would surely like to come back again.

Das Balkonzimmer war sehr geräumig mit direktem Blick auf den Strand, und es ist keine Straße dazwischen. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbüffett. Bei Wunsch täglicher Zimmerservice.

Die Fotos des Hotelkomplexis bei Booking.com sind von Grün und Bäumen umgeben und offensichtlich absolut veraltet. Wir dachten bei Buchung, dass wir außerhalb, am Rande der Bucht, im Grünen wohnen werden. Das Hotel ist mittlerweile von anderen Hotels u. Restaurants umgeben. Der Balkon hatte keinerlei Balkonmobiliar, so dass wir die gepolsterten Stühle aus dem Zimmer nehmen mussten.

Tout était parfait : un personnel sympathique et professionnel. le petit-déjeuner était excellent et extrêmement varié. Nous avons profité du service de massage et nous sommes tout à fait satisfaits.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Seagull hotel which sits fairly centrally within the bay . The rooms are large and ours had a pleasant view down the beach and sea.. The Seagull is a proper hotel with reception, porters, restaurant, room service, spar and full facilities. The staff were extra helpfull / excellent. My wife used the spar for a facial and massage which she described as very good. Breakfast had a vast selection of mainly asian dishes and was good. Overall very good value

The hotel is a little bit dated, The pool area appears a little negected but we were staying in low season.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was great, beach front pool was ideal.

Laundry service is expensive. Best off go local in town.

Alles !!! Die Lage direkt am Strand, das Frühstück, das schöne Zimmer mit Meerblick, das bequeme Bett, die netten Mitarbeiter. Besonders nett und hilfsbereit war Nguyen Thi Kieu. ( Wir hatten keine Zugfahrkarten über Online zu unserem nächsten Stop bekommen ). Dank ihrer Hilfe haben wir noch Karten bekommen und konnten pünktlich unsere Reise fortsetzen. Danke.

Das Seagull in Quy Nhon war eines der besten Hotels, die ich in Vietnam bewohnt habe. Große Zimmer, ein sehr gutes Frühstück und der Strand vor der Tür. Das ganze zu einem günstigen Preis.

Just on the beach and good walking distance to most places in Qui Nhon. Pool and gym were basic but good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange a tour to the sights in the area.

Great location right at the beach. Comfortable and cozy rooms. Very good breakfast buffet. I've been coming here for years now. And the staff is amazing. Even though I made a mistake by booking for a wrong date, they detected that before I even arrived and secured me a room within 30 minutes. This hotel has a certain old-world charm that is now missing from many of hotels.... Seagull hotel actually cares about their guests and tries very hard and succeeds at making things simple and enjoyable for the guest. CAM ON RAT NHIEU !!!

Direkt am Strand, blitzsauber, sehr engagiertes und freundliches Personal (mit gutem Englisch!) , in der näheren Umgebung reichlich Restaurants und kleine Shops, ins Stadtzentrum gut 25 Min. zu Fuß! Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, im "älteren Look", aber alles top. Empfehlenswert!

The best thing about this hotel is that is it right on the beach, no need to cross any streets. Staff were friendly. Lots of vegetarian options. Great breakfast. Rooms were nice. Great value.

It’s a bit dated and could use some minor touch ups like slightly peeling edges of wall paper and polishing bathtub grout.

The hotel is a bit old and deserves to be renovated. The receptionists are rude. The Hotel management should train the staff much better to deserve its 4 stars. Very limited hygiene, you need to cross the underground car park to go to the swimming pool ! The deck chairs at the pool are damaged and unusable. Breakfast was just OK. So many things are wrong! I strongly advise against it despite its location on the beach and its magnificent view. Lots of new hotels around which in my opinion are much better options.

Lovely breakfast with many options (both western and Vietnamese), great location on the beach (all other hotels are across the (busy) street. Friendly staff that go beyond their way to help even if their English is limited. The lunch and dinner options also included fresh grilled seafood. Also I recommend the massages offered at the spa, great value for money.

Nice hotel right on the sandy beach. Buffet breakfast was lots of variety of English & Vietnamese food. We had dinner here which as customised to our taste and the chef as so helpful and nice. Receptionist staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A good breakfast buffet, with various Asian and Western options. Great staff, great location, great view, everything great. The rooms are a little dated, but very comfortable.

The conveyor toaster in the breakfast area has been broken/malfunctioning for at least 2 months now.....I pointed this out to the staff repeatedly....... As of yesterday, no remedial action had been taken...... Power outlets in the room. They are hard to find and hard to reach.....plugging in the water kettle or the laptop charger demanded acrobatics from this 60 year old......Easy solution: The hotel should buy multi-outlet electrical cords and place the outlets on top of the work desk..... No more crawling under the desk for me ;-)

Exceptionally helpful staff.

A nice 4 star hotel like a holiday resort, locating right on the beach and in the centre of Qui Nhon. Even if you are not hotel residents, you can try lunch dishes with good price about 70K - 100K per dish. Good quality good at reasonable prices at a four star hotel. Check it out. Restaurant has beautiful sea view. Food is safe and good quality, many choices at reasonable prices compare to local restaurants. It’s worth a try.
