Room was nice, clean, spacious. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, liked the shower amenities (shampoo, body wash, lotion, etc.). Fast elevator. Hotel convenient to convention center / Bellco Theater which is where our event occurred. Secure Parking. Coffee in lobby in the morning.

Room 1023 - the bathroom door "stuck" and did not close all the way. Not a big deal for my wife and me, but just a bit annoying. Could have used an extra chair at the table/desk for eating. Coffee machine did not have any regular coffee, only tea pods and decaf. Could have used an extra comfy chair or two-seater couch for watching TV. Room is big enough.

Location is great and it is very clean!

It is a very dry place! The whole building seems to have either grounding issue or extremely dry air. I stayed at Airbnb for a couple days a few street away and had no issues with the air. As soon as I stayed at this hotel, the air was so dry my lips start cracking after just one night of stay. I heard the same stories from other friends who stayed there for a conference. Most parts of the building gives you electrostatic shock anytime you touch it which is weird for a building this high. I wonder if both are related to a very dry air or if the latter is a bad grounding issue that needs proper attention especially during times of rain where thunder storms could pose more issues.

You were conveniently located to the hospital where a family member was in critical condition.

We arrived late and tired. You were notified in advance of our late arrival. After checking in, we went directly to our room. When I used my key card to open the door, to my surprise the 2 guests that had rented the room before us was still in the room. I immediately apologized and went back downstairs and told this to the desk clerk. We were given another room. However, no one offered us a free a free breakfast or anything. That situation could have gone bad. The next day, the maid didn't leave clean towels and didn't empty the waste cans.

Nowhere during booking, check-in or ordering do they tell you that this rate ONLY applies to their buffet (which was out of stock of a lot of things, like Orange Juice). ANYTHING ordered off the menu is FULL PRICE (no credit). Interestingly, I ordered the same thing both days and was charged one day and not the other. When I contacted the front desk at 1145CST on 13 OCT this is when the news broke that they don't recognize the breakfast rate at this hotel outside of their buffet.
