Beautiful
Really nice hotel that is located near the lovely city of Kenmare. Lots of walkable trails.
Wonderful place to stay and unwind. Superb facilities and a great staff.
It’s an amazing hotel - all the walkways, the spa the room ,the food , the view ,the staff from the moment you arrive everything is 5 star
Great 3 night stay here. Food in
Loved the hiking and golf
Recommended by a friend and we don’t know why won’t recommend onwards. A stellar property in nature’s lap, stunning views and good food. Great for families, couples alike with perhaps one of the most thermal suite options anywhere in Ireland.
Room was disappointing, view of trees and marsh ground. asked to be moved second night, it was much nicer..Menu and food disappointing in bar. Great service and very friendly staff in hotel.
Better than expected and great value. Hotel staff were wonderful, pleasant and helpful. Not stuffy at all. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Great dining service. Purchase breakfast along with your stay....it's delicious and plentiful. Great spa, saunas, pool and infinity pool, but book massage, etc., well in advance. Do try the kayaking with Noel, and do take the nature and sky walks with Vincent.
It was a good stay, I with the “hot tubs” were hot they were warm but would be very lovely got.
Absolutely amazing. Best place I’ve EVER stayed. And I mean that. The views were spectacular. And staff was amazing. I got room 315 and it was the best room I could have gotten! It was perfect. And the spa and pool amenities are great. Let’s not forget the breathtaking 360 view of the area. And in a great spot on the ring of Kerry!
The staff were absolutely wonderful.
This was our second time staying here and it certainly won’t be the last….it is magical!!! The location, staff, service, facilities are faultless. If you want to spoil yourself you have to stay here :)
Amazing stay
Best hotel in the world! Incredible staff who clearly love their work and are unbelievably helpful. Brilliant with kids! You never feel uncomfortable and too many kids activities to list. Amazing views and an infinity pool that is heaven! Highly recommend, especially if you have little ones
E exceeded our expectations
I would come back here in a heartbeat for the beautiful location, infinity pool, free thermal spa for guests, well-appointed rooms, and walking trails all along the ocean. Absolutely wonderful stay!
The entire place is absolutely beautiful. We loved the spa that is available for everyone with the stunning infinity pool and amazing saunas/steam rooms. The restaurant was delicious & staff was amazing!
Very nice place to stay. Staff was extremely helpful and made every attempt to make our stay as nice as possible.
During our two week stay in Ireland, we spent one night here, and this is by far one of the best places. Spa and pool facilities were 2nd to none and the restaurants provided great food and fantastic service. There are walking paths around the large facility as well. Would go back given the opportunity !
Fantastic spa. Wonderful staff. Wonderful food. Spectacular views
Absolutely gorgeous resort! Highly recommend.
A beautiful and relaxing location. Swim and Kayak in the Ocean, play a nice round of golf and enjoy excellent food. The service was fantastic!
The most beautiful setting I’ve ever seen! The grounds and the outside of the property are amazing. The inside needs a refurbishment. Feels worn out and the bar had kids sitting at it with prams, it was hard to get a drink. Amazing golf course but golf house is small and feels disorganized.
Parknasilla continues to be a stand-out hotel and resort. The rooms are excellent, the restaurant is great, the grounds are wonderful, and the pools are lovely. My only gripe, and it's got little or nothing to do with the facility, is that the main swimming pool was overrun with kids diving, jumping, running, and shouting. In many respects, a beautiful noise, even if it ruled out a gentle adult swim. Renting head caps, required for pool use, at 3 euros was a little naff, but just a detail. We've been to Parknasilla a number of times and will be back.
We really enjoying walking and jogging the trails around the hotel and taking a dip in the sea. The setting is beautiful, the staff are friendly and competent and the pool and sauna are equally good. I loved the fact that children are not allowed in the pool from 8am to 10am and from 6pm to 8pm to allow adults actually do some swimming - more hotels should institute that rule. Our only disappointment was when we arrived and found our room looked really tired and really needed a refurb. We feared that was what the rest of the hotel would be like (it wasn’t). Moreover, the manager gave us a discount on an upgrade and that instead set the tone for our stay. We will be back.
Amazing
Staff were very courteous and helpful! Beautiful grounds and views.
Very friendly, helpful and excellent food. Interesting trails👍
This Resort is a destination in itself! We wished we could stay another few days! Reception staff were friendly, expedient, and helpful, dinner was outstanding and the grounds and amenities were beautiful and plentiful!
Grounds were nice. Hotel rooms were small , electric plugs were all under desks so you had to get down on the floor to plug in. Windows did not have black out drapes. Food was only served in the restaurant. My room was suppose to be a sea view and you could see it if you look out to the right but not right out the window.
The food was excellent as was the service. I loved the array of spa saunas and specialty steam rooms.
Great views in beautiful sunshine Great welcoming hotel staff.
One of the most beautiful spots in all of Ireland- and we’ve seen a lot of the country. The hotel was spacious, super clean and excellent staff & crew. I’ve never seen such cleaning practices in a hotel/resort. Food & drinks were fabulous and the amenities were great too. Walking paths were a great way to see the shoreline and the forest. Played the 9 hole course too ⛳️
Amazing, luxurious, very clean openspaces go leor to relax in , pool jacuzzi sauna steam outdoor tub gym, spa massage etc. Two restaurants. Scenery, sea forestery. All in one location and more. A bar to top it all with friendly staff through out.
The property exceeded our expectations. Has excellent amenities, friendly staff, great food options on prem and beautiful location!
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and its setting. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. The spa and beach/sea swimming were our favourite activities. Good 4 star breakfast, lunch and dinner. The evening entertainment (live singing and instrumental) paired with the dim lighting and overall ambiance made for perfect evening meals. Overall, a great stay. Would recommend!
Really liked the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel
An excellent hotel in an amazing location.
Wonderful and charming
Very tranquil, only let down was room service, no specific menu (same as restaurant) and only other option was very unimpressive toastiest
Great family hotel with a large spa and pool. Right on the rugged coast, the location is quite stunning. The restaurants were first class and staff were very accommodating. The twin room we had was generously proportioned and very clean.
Lots of walking trails and everything was so beautiful.
Proper old fashioned service - very friendly and amenable staff. Stunning location. Room and bathroom was a bit disappointing - very plain, with dated furniture and fittings, though the carpet seemed new. Thanks to the excellent service levels, it really was like a peek into the past. A unique experience.
Writing this review couldn't be easier as we could not fault anything in this beautiful hotel. The only downside is that we could only stay for one night. From entering reception when we arrived to checking out, we felt totally spoilt. The staff were so friendly and the service next to none. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The hotel itself has beautiful features with incredible artwork on every wall. You can do so much here from relaxing in the Thermal suite to going for a walk in one of the numerous trails in the grounds of the hotel. The food was exceptional too. Our stay was so relaxing and we felt totally recharged after just one day, I envied anyone staying for longer! This was our first trip here but it will not be our last :)
Beautiful place, great facilities Gorgeous area around Most recommend!!
I loved the whole ambience of the hotel. The food was delicious. I would have loved to have been able to get a spa treatment with my friend at the time that suited us not the hotels, even when I had tried a week before our arrival date.
Very conducive to relaxation
Great location with a traditional feel
Fabulous hotel with so many amenities we could have stayed on site for the 3 days! The views are spectacular, staff was very attentive, our upgraded room was luxurious with sea views. A truly magical experience.
The property is breathtaking- spectacular views and serene ambience.
Beautiful scenery and property. The staff were great. For a spa, wasn’t expecting the large number of children—definitely a family spa retreat.
Our trip to Parknasilla was amazing The hotel and surroundings are divine. It’s like being in another world. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them
Absolutely amazing stay, thank you to all the staff and management team for making our stay a truely enjoyable experience, we will be back!
Spent 5 days in Parknasilla and can honestly say we enjoyed every minute. The weather was great which meant we could partake in the numerous forest walks throughout the 500 acre grounds. The 12 hole golf course is tricky but very enjoyable. The swimming pool was warm and the outdoor jacuzzi was sublime in its setting. One jacuzzi didn’t work but there was no sign to indicate this. The breakfast was of high quality as were the evening menu. The hotel and the grounds were immaculately clean and hand sanitisers were in abundance. Would highly recommend the hotel and others we spoke to who stayed in the woodland villas were singing their praises too. Will definitely be back.
Views 👍
Fantastic, friendly and thoughtful service made our visit so memorable.
Amazing views. I found the rooms outdated. Small TV with poor coverage. Food was average. Good service & kind staff. Stunning walks/outdoor areas but the hotel is rather outdated.
Absolutely stunning scenery, loads of activities including well maintained walks, tennis courts, hall with table tennis, ice hockey table etc. Service was great.
We had a great weekend at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the ground are are stunning. There is lots to do including walks kayaking and boat trips. Looking forward to going back again
It was a great break , excellent friendly service and beautiful surroundings . We will be back very soon
lovely hotel in a beautiful relaxing setting. Rooms are nice but ordinary (for 5 star hotel) very comfortable beds and pillows Food is lovely Staff very friendly
0ur stay was fabulous staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was poor. Bacon salty and hard couldn't eat it Scrambled egg didn't taste nice. 1 sausage 3 mushrooms half tomato and 1 black or white pudding. So not a pleasent experience. Pity everything else was great.
Beautiful property, some the the best views from a Hotel I’ve ever seen. Wonderful spa, atmosphere and dinning. Only down side it Slightly dated rooms.
Simply exquisite resort. The location, staff, property & food were incredible. Coming here would be an experience you would never forget
Beautiful setting and lots of amenities! You could literally stay there and never leave the property. The food was not as good as expected. Had both room service and the morning breakfast buffet. Very disappointed when room service accidentally took one of our newly gifted and personally engraved Guiness glasses. We called down for assistance and the issue was never resolved before leaving the resort.
The staff exceeded our expectations. We arrived late and had to go an early morning boat ride to Skellig Island. The staff was so nice in making sure we had bottles of water, coffee and pastries to go in the morning for our trip. just wish we had more time to enjoy our stay here
Loved, loved, loved this property. From the numerous walking trails and activities outdoors to the luxury rooms and fabulous dinner indoors...it was perfect! We will definitely come back! Service was excellent. Zero complaints.
Love the site near the ocean, the surroundings are fantastic!!!!!!
Great staff and very comfortable surroundings. Served as a wonderful jumping off point for time with friends in Sneem and Derreenavurrig.
This hotel was far too good for what we required which was basically just a bed for the night.
Lovely grounds in a great location. Miranda (and family) so very helpful and one feels they have a perfect private getaway with advice and help when needed. (And great Irish breakfast!).
This was our first time at Parknasilla. The entire staff was so accommodating and friendly. The hotel is gorgeous and you can’t beat the views.
Truely amazing place. Many activities at hotel and I would like to spend more time there. Iffy weather added to the atmosphere. Service and food, both excellent.
This hotel is in a great location that offers beautiful views and grounds to explore. Food and drinks were well prepared and delicious.
This property is beautiful, tranquil and just what you want to down tools and spend quality time with family. Our 5 year old loved exploring in nature too
Great view. Great service. Very nice design
You’ll never get bored in this property there’s loads of things to do.
Beautiful location, lovely hotel, great facilities and friendly service. Couldn’t ask for more.
Beautiful location with fantastic woodland walks. Delightful staff. Nice spa.
Very good staff property good and spa v good That is all
The views were very nice. Shower and bath were lovely
Amazing highly recommend
excellent location - warmly recommended - see you soon again
Fantastic!!! Could not recommend it enough!! Our favourite hotel we stayed at!
Great stay and great facilities at the hotel. We had a wonderful time.
Beautiful setting at a beautiful hotel. Very polite and well trained staff. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Don't forget your swim suit for the indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs. Very nice breakfast.
Luxury hotel in lovely grounds with wonderful view over sea lough. Staff and catering very good. Short stay but hope to return.
Returned after staying here 55years ago! Had fond memories of Irish hospitality but most of the staff were no longer Irish!
Fabulous location. Showers in apartment master bathroom too small - replace!
Beautiful hotel, lovely gounds, delicious breakfast, great room
Very special place. Loved the owl experience, got to hold a Tawny Owl named Ferbie.
great hotel with lots to do - tennis, spa, walks, places to eat, swimming in the sea, the hardest part is leaving
Beautiful location, relaxing, very attentive staff. 2 smallish hot tubs- could be larger, pool has shallow end, not great for doing lengths, windows looking out on view from pool could be cleaner, couldn't open bedroom windows
This is one of the best run hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are clearly highly trained and very well motivated. The location is stunning and the grounds are huge - you can get a 3 mile run in without crossing your tracks! Food is great, rooms are nice. I should mention the graceful and elegant way in which the manager Alex dealt with a minor issue - this man will go far in the hotel trade. Every morning there are meet and greets with owls and other birds in the front porch (and their handler!) the views are breathtaking. But our best memory will be the quality of the staff. Friendly, efficient and really made our stay! (Went on for a second week in a nearby 5 star hotel which is nowhere near the quality of parknasilla!)
An absolutely beautiful escape to Parknasilla, relaxing and the great weather just added to the fantastic scenery and surrounding area. Relaxes the soul !
Amazing location, atmosphere and facilities... room could be more comfortable (no climate control / air conditioning or fans, but advised to keep windows closed due to insects outside)
My experience of parknasulla was a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back only little complaint waited one hour for dinner to arrive my fish was cold, lovely waitress apologised and I got a free dinner but errors in the kitchen happens
Great spot, service On terrace not that great
brilliant experience! everything was amazing!
