Great experience

Breakfast and dinner was excellent. The Infinity pool is fabulous and swimming pool and Spa area is of a really high standand.

I would have liked a safe in my room

The staff were very helpful from the staff at the golf course, to reception and the dining room staff. Although quite busy, the hotel always felt spacious and peaceful. The rooms were well appointed.

The swimming facilities and walks around the estates are definitely the highlights. Swimming from the private pier, the infiinity pool, choice of saunas and steam rooms, all fantastic. The views really are incredible.

Generally, all was great, some of it feels a little bit dated, i.e. and could do with a little bit of upgrade, e.g. the carpets and wallpaper could do with a make-over if I am being critical.

Breakfast was good, and would be improved with dishes like Eggs Benedict or Eggs Florentine. Other hotels would have a baked ham to be sliced fresh, that would be a nice enhancement. There were fruit options, but a compote like rhubarb would be a good addition. The dinner was very good. The new infinity pool is very nice, good facilities in the spa.

Improvement suggestions are listed above. There was nothing to dislike.

Loved this property! We had an amazing stay. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are well-appointed, and I think they had the softest bath towels I've ever experienced. Loved the spa and hikes through the surrounding woods.

One of my favorite hotels in the world. I’ve taken friends and family here for years. The location is magical. The spa is the the perfect end to a perfect day.

This was our 4th stay here and unfortunately we noticed some flaws that we hadn’t seen before. The spa is normally magical but we noticed some areas that need attention - drains were clogged in one of the showers in the main spa area, one of the steam rooms wasn’t working, two of the showers didn’t have soap. My biggest disappointment was that this was our 4th time here and it wasn’t recognized in any way. I mentioned to the woman at check-in that last year we brought our family and this year we brought our best friends - thousands of miles from the US - to the hotel because of of our love for it and she just smiled and then proceeded to hand me a key to a room on the 3rd floor all the way to the back. I didn’t expect that we’d get upgraded to a suite but put us in a room with somewhat of a view - or acknowledge our loyalty in some way.

Sehr schönes, schlossartiges Hotel in traumhafter Lage Wir waren als Familie im Parknasilla Resort in Sneem und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist ein sehr schönes, schlossartiges Gebäude in einer traumhaften Lage. Unsere Tochter hat sich hier tatsächlich wie in einem Märchenschloss gefühlt. Wer moderne Architektur erwartet, ist hier sicher nicht unbedingt richtig – wer dagegen den besonderen Charme eines älteren, schlossartigen Hotels mag, wird sich sehr wohlfühlen. Die Ausstattung und Freizeitmöglichkeiten sind hervorragend. Es gibt zwei Swimmingpools: einen schönen Innenpool und einen wunderschönen Infinity-Pool im Außenbereich. Außerdem kann man Kajak fahren, an geführten Kajaktouren teilnehmen, Tennis spielen und Golf spielen. Meine Frau und unsere Tochter haben an einer geführten Kajaktour teilgenommen und waren begeistert. Diese können wir absolut empfehlen. Das Frühstück war qualitativ sehr gut. Neben einem schönen kleinen Buffet kann man verschiedene Gerichte frisch bestellen, zum Beispiel Lachs mit Ei oder Müsli. Auch zweimal haben wir im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und waren mit der Qualität der Speisen und dem Service sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten unterschiedliche Zimmer. Das Executive Zimmer mit Meerblick war sehr schön ausgestattet, allerdings merkt man ihm das Alter des Gebäudes an. Möbel, Betten, Fenster und teilweise auch das Badezimmer sind nicht mehr topmodern. Dafür hat das Zimmer einen besonderen Charme und war, wie das gesamte Hotel, sehr sauber. Mein Standard-Doppelzimmer war moderner eingerichtet und hatte ein sehr schönes Badezimmer mit einer hervorragenden Dusche. Einen Punkt möchten wir allerdings ausdrücklich empfehlen: Kein Zimmer mit Verbindungstür zu einem anderen Zimmer buchen. Mein Zimmer war dadurch leider extrem hellhörig. Die Gäste im Nachbarzimmer waren teilweise so laut, dass ich das Gefühl hatte, sie würden direkt in meinem Zimmer stehen – insbesondere nachts war das sehr unangenehm.

Location was magnificent

The bedrooms furniture was tired - with torn pieces of card as draw liners. The day beds in the common area are too low to look out at the magnificent views and food was mediocre

While we had a lovely time, it is not at the standard of other 5star hotels. No concierge to bring in luggage or meet you at the door. The receptionists don’t give you a full run down on the hotel that you usually get. Rooms are fine but they are more of a 4 star standard. The service in the bar for lunch was just lacking that slickness of a 5 star hotel. There are areas that do require a little upkeep & freshening up. The dinner in the restaurant was good and the waitress was a lovely woman, very personable. Breakfast was good too, same lady served us and again was lovely. It’s not somewhere to go if you’re looking for pure luxury but facilities are the stand out of this hotel, so much to do and avail of.

Excellent resort! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made our stay even more special. The heated pool was fantastic, and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

This is a pricey but fabulous hotel in a great location, we wished we could have stayed longer to make better use of the facilities. We had drinks, dinner and breakfast at the hotel, the restaurant and bar were lovely. The thermal suite, and infinity pool overlooking the bay were blissful. We went on a walk around the woods before we left - the mapped and marked ways were quiet and we were lucky with the weather.

We couldn't use the pool in the evening as it was taken over by teenagers playing games. There was no easy link to Sneem, if we had wanted to go into the town for food or drinks in the evening.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen Wie spielten die 9-Loch Golfanlage, die ebenfalls sehr gepflegt ist und unglaublich schöne Löcher hat! Abschläge direkt am Meer.. Warmer Infinitypool direkt an vorderster Front! Das Hotel bietet etwas für jung und alt! Pärchen, Familien mit Kinder.. Das Essen war fantastisch. Was will man da noch mehr..!

Excellence is not an accident what a beautiful place what wonderful staff a special magical place

Oh my goodness it is hard to say apart from in July and august full of the most happy 3 generation families, because we were on our own I had nobody else to jetty jump with 😩😩it didn’t stop me doing it ,what a fantastic place for all the generations a jetty jump institution . Also Lost 9 golf balls in the most picturesque 9 holes it’s very tight but absolutely beautiful.

Location is extremely pretty. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and much nicer than my previous stay which was in the older part of the hotel.

In a recent long weekend stay at Parknasilla, the weather was fabulous and we went for various swims in the various coves / beaches on the grounds of the hotel and loved going for a dip in the sea off the pier outside the front door of the hotel. We spent lots of time having drinks on the sunny patio, went on long walks on the many trails around the hotel. Dinner was lovely in the main dining room. This is such a great hotel for relaxing, activities and enjoying the beautiful scenery all around the hotel. Finally, Ankush looked after us so well in the restaurant - he gave us 5 star services!

Location/surrounds are beautiful. The meal in the main restaurant was very good. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Ridiculous drink prices. Breakfast was not good. Pancakes almost solid. Luckily free breakfast but if we had to pay 25 per person it would have been a complete rip-off.

We felt instantly relaxed in the spa area, which features a fantastic pool and indulgent outdoor hot tub overlooking Kenmare Bay. The bar offering is great with fantastic food and selection of their own spin on classic cocktails. It perfectly balances historic grandeur with a warm, inviting atmosphere. A very special place that creates lasting family memories. Parknasilla is a fairytale escape set within a wonderful, homely manor estate. The grounds are spectacular, with 500 acres of subtropical vegetation and coastal trails to explore.
