I love the swimming pool , the private beach , the comfortable room , simply everything about the resort , the tranquility and peace and heaps of nature are wholesomely worth the stay and it went beyond my expectations.

食事はもっと頑張らないといけない。マレー料理はそこそこ良かったが、ウェスタンはひどかった。朝食もあまり評価はできない。

We had an amazing stay from the moment we arrived. Welcome: We were pleasantly surprised with a plate of fresh fruit and the cutest towel dog waiting in our room. It was such a thoughtful welcome and made our son so happy. Beach: Beautiful! Our 5-year-old had so much fun playing in the sand while we relaxed by the water. Room: The room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The room and bathroom was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both Asian and Western dishes. Dinner: We had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was flavorful and well prepared. We would definitely recommend trying it during your stay.

Es war am Strandabschnitt der nicht mehr genutzt wird sehr dreckig, was sehr schade ist. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und man merkt, dass Teile nicht mehr genutzt und dementsprechend sehr heruntergekommen sind. Die gesamte Anlage könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Auf den Bildern ist es schöner und moderner dargestellt. Die Restaurants sind sehr teuer und die Auswahl für Vegetarier sind gleich 0. Wir mussten immer rausfahren zum Essen da die Restaurants nicht überzeugten

Had a wonderful stay! The beach is beautiful, and the room was big with a nice sea view. The Sunset bar right in front of the beach is a highlight – especially having a meal and drink there during sunset. Nothing to complain about. Truly value for money.

The next door customer always closed Thier door in hurry and hard with nosing sound like something try to break the door.

Where to begin? - ac in the room didn’t work - the fridge didn’t work - one of the days there was like a plague of mosquitos in the bed - bath didn’t work - food experience was the worst, out of the 8 restaurants only 1 or 2 were open with half of the menu available - no juices or smoothies available - every day something happened…one it was shells in an omelette, another day no milk at the buffet, today my friend got food poisoning… - no clear information or communication unless it is to sell you something - common areas were sad…dry garden, broken pool showers, outdated gym, the spa smelled funny (humidity)

A fantastic return visit! I was here 2 years ago. I am here again today and the improvements really show. From rooms to better facilities. Loved the variety of activities (monitor lizard feeding and pond fishing were unique fun), and the beach is still beautifully clean and relaxing. The golf course looks stunning. When it rained, thanks to the covered walkway to the Sunset Bar restaurant kept things dry and easy. The room view was gorgeous too. Definitely a much better experience than last time – highly recommend!

The place is nice, greatful it have bath tub in it. We ordered room service and the food is great.

I hope breakfast buffet can add more varieties

room facility is old, checked in and the air-condition in the suits are not working well, so we asked the maintenance to fix it, but after fixing it, the toilet ceiling in the room breakdown, and water from the air condition start dropping for the whole night. Other than the room, the outside of the suits building are dirty and old.

Loved the beach at Nexus Resort – really beautiful and well-maintained. During my stay, I noticed a lot of work in progress to improve the facilities. They’re adding a covered walkway and a new pavilion facing the sea, which wasn’t there on my previous visit. I also spoke to a staff member who mentioned they’re refreshing the resort rooms and other facilities. Looking forward to seeing everything finished – the beach alone makes it worth a visit!

Certainement un bel Hôtel il y a 20 ans hôtel vieillissant chambres spacieuse avec sdb limite insalubre robinetterie HS c est le silicone qui retiens tout , moisissure odeur insupportable le tout sur une belle plage et grandes piscines qu il faudra remettre en état également ! Le parcours de golf est superbe manque juste de sanitaire quand au personnel l acceuil est chaleureux et souriant

Les restaurants sont désastreux qualité quantité choix rien ne va le personnel est disgracieux et incompétent après 25 ans de voyage autour du Monde je n avais jamais vu ça surtout qu il est quasi impossible de se restaurer ailleurs la ville est à 1 h de taxi sur un voyage de 2 mois le plus mauvais endroit utilisé Et surtout le plus cher !! Bathtub in the room, Staff upgraded me because my room was too far away and some rooms were undergoing renovations. Receptionist told me Children above 3 did not enjoy free breakfast but the manager James rectified that.

Initial Room was too far away from lobby, I needed a caddy to cover this distance daily. Water in the bathtub was yellow. Shower clogged on the first usage. constant blackouts due to grid problem. breakfast spread is not much. There's no salted butter. Not much free kids activity besides the pool and the beach for 3 and 5 years old. location was far away, cars don't come in as much.

Море не для купания: во-первых, волны мешают заходу в воду, во-вторых, 15 минут пребывания в воде оборачиваются 5-10 ранками от укусов каких-то морских мелких существ. Эти ранки сильно чешутся и долго не заживают. Трудно сказать, что с этим можно делать. Морем можно любоваться, природой и животными тоже. В общем, это для любителей прогулок, но не для пляжного отдыха

Beautiful garden and beach.

Nexus certainly has lost its charm. Maintenance is surely an issue. Room amenities lacked focus. Hot water not enough to fill the bathtub. Breakfast was just so so... Coffee beans ran out of stock a Sunday. The road to the resort seriously need repair and upkeeping..

The location is good, its right on the beach, staff are friendly, room is nice, view is good.

The room wasn’t clean enough, one of the pools is quite dirty, the hot tubs weren’t able to be used, but the worst thing for me was the breakfast, it was horrendous, I’ve never stayed anywhere with breakfast food made so poorly. Eggs were watery, not much proteins, nothing tasted fresh.

Food was poor quality, no room service one day, some staff need hospitality training, room not clean, no toiletries, very poor compared to what it used to be.

Впечатляющая местность! Очень понравились вид из окна, зеленая и большая территория, живность на территории, прекрасный пляж и идеальное море! А ещё большая площадь номера.

Завтраки не понравились, посуда ужасно грязная, далеко не вся еда вкусная, привычной европейской еды мало. Очень очень влажно, в помещениях плесень. В целом отель сильно запущенный, будто доживает последние сезоны. А жаль, такое роскошное место! На территории делать особо нечего кроме пляжа и прогулок, приехали только ради моря. Три дня достаточно. А ещё остерегайтесь пляжных мух, могут испортить весь отпуск.

Очень хорошее море, если цель - это тихий отдых у моря и не важны условия - это то самое место. Большие, просто огромные номера. Когда-то, очень давно, это было очень крутое место, это видно. Сейчас отель практически не управляется, это тоже видно.

Все остальное было плохо. Еды не добыть, завтраки совершенно не рассчитаны на не локального туриста, пообедать и поужинать по сути, негде. Мы бронировали на 7 дней. 3 дня слонялись в поисках еды и уехали в другой отель, это просто невозможно! Везде висят объявления о запрете доставок еды.... но вы же подумайте, если люди заказывают снаружи, это не просто так. Зачем-то при заселении дают qr код, ссылка на часы с обслуживанием. Там никто! Никогда! Не отвечает. Один раз ответили, что завтраки с номер они не делают (хотя в меню по тем же ссылкам все есть) и на этом обслуживание закончилось. Рестораны не работают, приехали в 9 с экскурсии... поесть негде. Вообще. Нашли еду (ну как еду, картошку фри и куриные крылья) в баре с бильярдом, ждали полтора (!!!) часа. Безобразие. Матрасы старые и очень плохо пахнут уже. Полотенца жёлтые и в пятнах... халаты выпросили, это просто стыдно должно быть, воротник прям рыжий, то ли не стирали его, то ли уже конец его пришёл. Сантехника в номерах неисправна частично. В общем, отсутствие еды можно и потерпеть неделю ради такого моря... но возвращаться на постель, где не знаешь, как повернуться, чтобы не воняло, ну это за гранью терпения и понимания. Бассейнов 3. Детский норм, ещё один небольшой тоже, а третий... мутный был все три дня, пригляделись... циркуляции не работает! То есть это просто болото! В общем, потеряли 4 дня по невозвратнрй брони, нас даже не спросили, чего это мы уезжаем. Видимо, сами все понимают.

Отель действительно прекрасный, с большой территорией и собственными большим пляжем, на котором к сожалению нет нормальных лежаков и постоянно много мусора. Из отеля мы уехали покусаны песчаными мошками.

Мы прилетели очень рано, можно сказать еще ночью и обратились на ресепшен о раннем заселении, нам сказали что наш номер не готов и номеров свободных нет для нас, что нам еще 10 часов нужно будет сидеть в ожидании, но через полчаса настойчивых уговоров оказалось что номер есть и этот номер нашей категории, но за дополнительные 10 часов с нас взяли больше, чем мы платили за сутки, это было странно, но в целом номер просторный с красивым видом на море. Чемодан до 4 этажа нам не отнесли, мы его тащили сами, нам только указали на ресепшен где лифт! Затем начались проблемы с уборкой, за 8 дней у нас убрались всего 2 раза и то приходилось ходить просить об этом, воду естественно тоже не приносят, это очень странно для отеля такого уровня! И самое печальное было это завтрак, мало того что одни и те же сосиски, омлет и рис были все 8 дней, иногда эти сосиски были подкисшими, фрукты очень скудный выбор, последние 2 дня ходили просто выпить кофе, а потом питались снеками из магазина. И самое печальное что даже за деньги нет нормальных блюд, рыбы, морепродуктов, в меню ресторанов пицца паста куриные крылья и лосось!

The toiletries should be better if complete with shower cap. The electrical items also didn't complete, like iron & hair dryer. There's water leaking from the showroom flooding into the bedroom. Hope management aware of this matter. In the morning before we check out, we didn't have a chance to take a shower due to suddenly no water supply or maybe got water disruption

Mi dispiace ma non è una struttura adatta per turisti europei o abituati a un 4/5 stelle come in Europa . La struttura non è curata per niente . Deve essere rifatta interamente . Spiaggia piena di sporcizia soprattutto plastica . Non lo consiglio

I saw comments that the hotel is dated but I think there is charm about it and it's not bad. I have booked a room with sea view and balcony and my room was very big. The bathroom has walk in shower and bath too. There are 3 different swimming pools and garden. In the complex is a small shop with water, drinks, ice cream, snacks and souvenirs. The breakfast was very generous with many different Asian and European food options. The complex offers multiple restaurants. I was expecting more sea food but due low season not all were open. Beach has sun beds and umbrellas and it was mainly empty. Big waves for surfing and beach was so long, great for walk. If you stay use their wellness center it's special and the service was amazing.

It’s quite worn down and far away from everything. They advertise with 8 restaurants but most of them were closed most of the time. The two open ones were out of stock quite often, which made dinner and lunch very challenging. The bars at the pool and beach were closed, so the only way to get drinks was to run to the souvenir shop. It was forbidden to order in food and there are no other restaurants nearby They advertise with activities like horse riding and atv but the reality is there is nothing left of those companies

Room was nicely renovated, modern and clean. Facing the ocean. Good for swim. Nice beach. Staff was helpful and on top form. Will definitely return again.

There's monkeys and dogs at night. Surrounding wasn't well lit at night. It gets dark fast. No outside food and drinks policy. Only have the options to eat at the few restaurants in the resort. Theres free WiFi in the resort but the TV has to connect to own hot-spot to work.

Its an old property with 4 stars hotel facilities

Night activity limited, restaurant available at the property but need to wait for long time (almost an hour) to be serve with food, even breakfast buffet need to wait in long queue to be seated, food was average, but most of the food they didn’t top up after 9am.

Enjoyed a lovely stay. Food was good and enjoyed the spa as well.

Most of the reviews say it’s outdated and worn down, and it is . But the location, view , people and food still made it a great stay. The spa was exceptional, and a must do.

Definitely needs an upgrade and I think they are working on as some restaurants were closed. In the room , things were broken and worn down but overall still comfortabels . I think the most important part that needs an update is the swimming pool as this becomes even dangerous for the kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Nexus Karambunai! The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and we’re truly thankful for the effort the team put into fulfilling our honeymoon vibes request — it made our experience extra special. The Penyu Restaurant served absolutely delicious food, the pools were amazing, and the Borneo Spa was pure perfection — a must-try for anyone visiting! The beach view was breathtaking and truly completed our romantic getaway. Thank you to all the staff for your warm hospitality and attention to detail. We look forward to returning again soon!

Despite of getting the far end room (i get it, due to last minute booking) the room that we get has smell of a wet mattress, i can feel the air humidity is high. There is no internet connection (wifi). There is no TV channel that you can tune in.

Praia, resort bem cuidado e arranjado e, no geral, com qualidade. Funcionários atenciosos. Praia agradável.

Resturantes disponíveis pouco variados (em 2 deles servem os mesmos pratos) , com poucas escolhas (e todas muito parecidas) preço variável na opção buffet, sendo necessário "negociar" o preço com os funcionários, algo que não faz sentido. Restaurantes fecham às 22h00, chegámos a essa hora e fomos informados de que só poderíamos usar o serviço dos quartos (informação errada, porque há uma sala de jogos e bar que está aberta até mais tarde e servem alguns snacks). O tabuleiro com as sanduíches que nos levaram ao quarto estava coberto com um pano cor de rosa muito sujo, certamente não era lavado há muitos dias, o que é completamente inaceitável. Nestas praias existem minúsculas moscas da areia (sand flies) que picam sobretudo ao fim do dia, e provocam reações alérgicas muito fortes, com muito prurido. Deviam avisar os clientes para usarem repelentes ou evitarem as horas piores. Fomos picados em mais de uma centena de pontos, a comichão passados 2-3 dias é muito difícil de suportar e um de nós, após quase 2 semanas das picadas, ainda tem prurido e marcas no corpo todo. Acabou por estragar quase 3 dias de férias.
