Location was great. Room we were given was perfect location on site. Pool area and bar were nice and food was excellent.

Rooms could do with updating, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast needed to be booked but we didn’t know that and so we were not allowed in which was disappointing.

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for. Property is a bit further out from the marina which we actually liked, about a 15-20min walk in. Handy having a fridge and very spacious for a one bed apartment we felt. Very very clean.

As others have said, it’s dated. When you get over that it’s good to go. Some very rowdy all male & all female trips there for hens and golf trips so the pool wasn’t exactly relaxing but all in good fun

Just back from a 10 night stay which was perfect in every way. One bed garden view room was bright and spotlessly clean with a sea view-which was an added bonus. Enough room for us with 2 teenage boys. A big thanks to every member of staff. We love the two pools, ping pong table and laid back atmosphere. Everything is clean and well maintained. Hopefully see you next year for our 6th stay!

Great place to stay if you like a relaxing & tranquil break-away from crowds. Reserving of sunbeds is monitored & frowned upon-good! So only come here if you're respectful of others. Everyone tends to eat in their apartments or pool side bar and so there's no mess left round the pool or gardens. Villamora has lots of very uneven pavements-be ware! Pinhal is fab-clean, small & friendly. Stock up at Aldi & top up at Spar. Walk to Marina is easy. Try Braganca Mar & Goldenmarina Chinese.

El mobiliario y el apartamento en general era antiguo

Boa localização (20/25 minutos a pé até à marina de Vilamoura). O aldeamento é bastante amplo e dispõe de vários espaços verdes. As piscinas são espaçosas e são disponibilizadas várias espreguiçadeiras e vários brinquedos/bóias. Localização de um WC e do bar junto à piscina. São disponibilizadas várias atividades para as crianças e para os adultos (baloiço, trampolim, mesa de ping pong, mesa de snooker), embora a maioria delas já se apresente num estado bastante desgastado. O aldeamento dispõe de vários lugares de estacionamento, com sombra.

Funcionária da recepção muito pouco simpática. Existência de apenas 1 único aparelho de ar condicionado, instalado na sala. Inexistência de ar condicionado e de televisão no quarto. Apesar de ser quarto de casal, a cama era composta por 2 colchões individuais, os quais bastante desconfortáveis (rijos). A cozinha dispõe de muito poucos utensílios para quem confecciona almoço e jantar. As cadeiras da mesa da sala são igualmente desconfortáveis (afundam). A sala não dispõe de um verdadeiro sofá, mas sim de uma estrutura em madeira com um colchão de fundo e almofadas grandes para as costas, o qual é igualmente desconfortável. A limpeza deixa muito a desejar para um aldeamento que diz estar classificado com 4 estrelas. Diariamente, apenas foi feita a mudança do saco do balde do lixo da cozinha (o balde do lixo do WC nem tinha saco) e uma varredela rápida. Durante toda a semana que estivemos hospedados, nunca foi feita a limpeza na varanda, cujo chão, espreguiçadeiras, mesa e cadeiras já estavam sujos quando chegámos ao apartamento.

Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du personnel : disponible, patient dans ses explications, aimable, souriant. Les 2 piscines sont facilement accessibles et plutôt grandes. Lé résidence est sécurisée, des emplacements de parking en quantité. L'appartement est assez spacieux et doté d'une belle terrasse. L'environnement pavillonnaire fait que le calme y règne. 25 minutes à pieds pour accéder à la marina, aux activités et aux plages, nous l'avons fait tous les jours, ce n'était pas contraignant. Vous pouvez y aller en voiture, il y a beaucoup de parking.

Il n'y a pas de "kit de démarrage" dans la cuisine. Donc prévoyez d'apporter éponge, produit vaisselle. Il manque des couteaux de cuisine (on a dû l'acheter aussi). La climatisation n'est que dans le séjour, pas dans la chambre (très difficile la nuit) Le mobilier et l'impression générale du logement est vieillissant et mériterait un petit coup de jeune. Notre appartement disposait d'un étage qui menait à un placard et à une 2ème terrasse complétement inutile, non équipée (des m² perdus). L'établissement devrait interdire aux clients de bloquer les transats de la piscine dès 7h30 le matin en y mettant leur serviette et ne pas rester avant des heures !

the reception staff are so unhelpful ( especially the morning one) the door to the room was very difficult to open & close the room was so smelly & damp & dark opened the balcony door to freshen up the room but that only made it worse as there was a strong smell of something coming from the balcony below i went to reception to asked to be moved & was just told no you have to stay there i then asked for towels to rent i was told laundry was not up yet come back later, went back later & told no try again in the morning, went up early next morning to be told no there is none here for you..... i went & bought some the cleaners took away the bathroom towels in the room & did not replace them restaurant food was delicious & pool area very good

The grounds are not maintained, trees are too high and need trimming, overgrown hedges, broken concrete slab pathway to and from pools/reception which is a trip hazard. Pool was nice , cleaned daily . Reception poor , dark and mat at door very dusty. Location is uphill from marina so taxi/user will be needed if mobility issues. We traveled with a large family group, my room was nice and updated but the 3 other rooms my family members had were dark and in need of updating the furnishings and floors . Thought it was expensive for what we got as other resorts are much cheaper and much better maintained. Overall we will go back to vilamoura but not to stay at this location. We made the best of the week we stayed but we will not be returning.

We liked the location and most staff we encountered.

Property needs some freshening. Our meals were not included in the rate for the on-site restaurant, which was fine. The staff, however were not very welcoming without it being included.

Location is fine if you are mobile - shop is a 10 minute walk and you have to come up the hill on the way back. (Think heavy water bottles up a hill on the heat) Marina a further 10 min walk so if happy to walk location is fine. We were with a grandparent so reliant on Ubers. Atmosphere - Quiet and relaxed the best part about this hotel and having the two pools meant one pool was more child orientated and the bottom pool was very chilled. Rooms - we had a great size apartment which suited our needs. Clean on arrival, would say housekeeping was not great in comparison to other ‘4 star’ hotels we’ve been in. Not serviced as much as reception told us on arrival. Had to go looking about clean towels after day 5 we were there 10 days and only had fresh towels once. Very disappointing and reception were made aware and did not address until reminded the next day. So housekeeping wasn’t ideal. It was an affordable break but definitely not what I would have expected given the reviews and the rating given be easyJet holidays. Expected more in comparison with other stays. Area around the pool could do with some TLC as could the grounds. The food we purchased on the whole at the hotel was lovely but the service at the bar restaurant was extremely slow. The older lady was good the older man was a bit slow at times but pleasant, the younger man did not want to be there and had very poor customer service. Access to our room was via flights of stairs no lift so just be prepared for bringing suitcases up and down and also if you are not mobile. Wouldn’t be an ideal location for pushchairs.

The apartment was wonderfully quiet and spotlessly clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The highlight was definitely the balcony—it overlooked the pool, and having a fully equipped kitchenette made it so easy to prepare our own meals (though I'd suggest packing a couple extra mugs if you're coffee lovers like us!). We also really appreciated having two pool options: the lively one near the bar and restaurant was great for socializing, while the other pool offered a peaceful retreat when we wanted to unwind in silence. The location was ideal too—just a 10-minute stroll down a gentle hill to the marina, and grabbing an Uber back for around €5 was super convenient.

The only real downside was the seagulls. During the day, sitting out on the balcony was often interrupted by loud, squawking birds that could be quite aggressive—they'd swoop close if you had food out, which made relaxing outside a bit stressful at times. It's not something the property can control, obviously, but it's worth being aware of if you're planning to spend a lot of time on the balcony. Other than that, everything was great—just a minor note that the kitchenette only had two cups, so we had to wash up frequently or take turns with drinks. Nothing major, but a couple more mugs would have been a nice touch.

Great location with a short walk to pubs, restaurants, a fantastic beach and the marina. Really nice quiet pool area with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are really really friendly. The food in the pool bar was good too. The housekeeper came daily and the room was clean. We got a surprise that our studio room actually had a kitchen and full sized fridge. We have stayed here 3 times and each time was really good. We would recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

The only thing that I would change would be, putting a bigger bed into our studio room but everything else about the studio room was great. The room was slightly dated but it didn’t affect the stay at all.

We had a two bed apartment in block 12 on 1st floor overlooking the garden, apartment was dated a lot of brown wood panels, two bedrooms very small, kitchen was grand and well stocked with everything you need, a large bottle of water was left in for us, sitting room and balcony good size. No bar area or reception area after 10 pm at night if you wanted to sit and have a drink. There are two pool areas , very quiet. The restaurant is more like a café then restaurant we only looked in did not eat there. There is no mini market on site which would be of benefit to all guests staying to get basic supplies, the nearest Supermarket Spar is about 10 mins walk away down a slight hill so if carrying up waters and messages in the heat it can feel longer going back up to apartments. Walk down to Marina is 15 mins and taxi back up at night €5 there is a taxi rank at Marina. Marina full of nice restaurants and bars with entertainment. Taxi to Albufeira old town €26 to get there. Quiet location, more residential, no mad crowds.

Took a chance with this hotel as booked late and it was the only one with availability. Fantastic hotel, we had a 1 bed apartment 8111, end of the block, huge verandas with sun loungers that caught the sun in the morning and until 6.00 pm. Pools - clean and warn. The one by the apartment was quieter, often had it to ourselves. Restaurant - we were half board but this seems to be a rare case as there were only 2 of us. Breakfast is continental and plenty of choice with good quality food. Evening meal - limited choice of 2 dishes but well cooked, tasty and nutritious. Consisted of 4 courses with table water. Other drinks you had to pay for. Really quiet, I had the best nights sleep here. Beds are a little hard. There is no evening entertainment so the whole place is quiet from around 11.00 pm. Heaven for us. We used it as a base for cycling and have to say we were disappointed. The hotel advertises itself as a Bikhotel with a workshop. The receptionist was reluctant to give us a key and we never saw it. She said it was just a small cupboard. The roads too and from our apartment were virtually impossible to cycle on as they were made of some form of patterned substance that was very uneven. We may come back purely because we loved the food and its peaceful location, but in my view it was expensive for what you got.

I have stayed here several times and always enjoyed it. Appartments are dated, dark wardrobes etc and patio doors not working properly but overall enjoyable and lovely location is the best. One very disappointing thing this time is the fact I asked for two extra bath towels for room as there is 4 of us and two of them are young one a girl in early 20's with very long thick hair. There was a big fuss made of asking for those two extra towels, something I never witnessed before and an experienced member of staff who I recognise from previous stays questioned me in from of another customer as to why I needed two more towels, I couldn't quite believe that they wud be so unprofessional about it and cause such a fuss.

I ate evening meal one evening of stay ,I am a coeliac ,unfortunately no allergen guidance on menu sheet provided and on asking male staff member if he knew what was gluten free - no clear answer provided ,ad hoc ,this was worrying and unsafe potentially .

Great location, pool area lovely with plenty of sunbeds, no need to rush to reserve them. Apartments are bit hit and miss, the modernised ones are lovely we had two allocated in Block 2 but had to request to move, they moved 1 of the rooms to Block 6. Like to different apartments. Block 2 was outdated and need of refurbishment, nothing like advertised. Block 6 was bright airy and very big with great views of the pool.

Given how quickly I returned and the value of the items left behind, I found this response extremely frustrating and disappointing. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I would have expected a more thorough effort to locate the missing belongings or provide assistance. The lack of resolution left me out of pocket and significantly impacted what had otherwise been a pleasant stay. I would advise future guests to double-check all belongings before departure, as my experience with recovering forgotten items was very disappointing.

Trees/plants could be cut in apartments with pool view areas so you have more of a pool view but other than that fantastic

I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday. We had the most amazing stay. The pictures do not do this place justice. The pool area was brilliant, could get plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day. 15 minute walk to the Marina and about 20 minutes walk to the beach. The food at the restaurant was lovely and very reasonably priced compared to the prices of eating out at the Marina. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We have no complaints at all. The only thing missing is some evening entertainment.

The property is set in beauty grounds, spacious apartments with everything you need and closely located within walking distance to Vilamoura. The staff are excellent, so friendly.

Stayed with husband and daughter, 6202. A few steps to the pool and restaurant which was nice. Very dated apartments. We were on ground floor with grass at the patio - covered in ants - seemingly we were just unlucky ! Sofa bed very uncomfortable. Twin beds in bedroom okay. Pillows are dire. The placement of the shower head over a very narrow bath wasn't safe. Beds made every day but there was an awful smell off the towels. Restaurant is lovely and clean but has the same menu for lunch and dinner every day. No drink fridges or ice cream fridges out. Was a good 10 minute walk to the nearest shop and back up a hill. Marina is fab. Wouldn't go back - really needs a good cleaning and updating.

Very expensive on site restaurant when you read the reviews it tells you bars and restaurants are just a five minute walk but not true nearest bar and restaurants are twenty minutes away in the marinea area and the same to quarteira. If you don't mind the walk.

We (3A 1C) have just arrived back from a T3 apartment on the ground floor. The space is huge! 3 large bedrooms and so much storage space. The living area and kitchen area are spacious too. Kitchen kitted with all amenities and large fridge with smaller freezer to the top. Reception were very helpful in advising us on supermarkets not the corner shop ones the proper ones and also we encountered a couple of minor issues being ground floor ants came in but we contacted reception and very quickly a lady came over to deal with the situation and left us some ant killer incase they came back, the oven has been cleaned so many times the numbers and settings have rubbed off but this was a quick fix simply asking the maid for direction. Pools are great, upper pool by the snack bar and we tended to use the lower pool it was a quieter area. Apartment itself as mentioned was huge. Some updating required yes but honestly I think some minimal changes would make all the difference, the pictures in the room are very old and sun marked, the bathroom could probably use a regrout and the tiles by the front door renewing and curtains updating but these are minor, the place was spotless, the maids came daily we only let them do it a couple of times as we tidied up as we went along and were so fast but cleaned everything, Definitely a great place to stay, gardens were beautiful everywhere, reception very helpful and polite, cannot comment on the snack bar as we didn't use this service.

A group of ladies in 2 separate rooms - 1-bed and studio apartments with a pool view. Rooms were clean and had all we needed for our short stay. Lady on reception was very friendly as was the lady in the bar. We didn’t eat here so cannot comment on the food. Walk to the marina was around 20 mins. It wasn’t a difficult walk either there or back. For what we paid we were happy with everything

This was our fourth visit, and again we were not disappointed , We were staying in an apartment with a pool view which we had booked again, and we were looked after by everyone involved in our stay. Dora and Carmen on reception made our stay great, with a seamless check in and all questions answered making our time so enjoyable. We were booked in with half board and Paula as before made our visit memorable ably helped by Manuel and Daniela. The food was excellent and we are still talking about the coffee and fresh fruit for Breakfast as well as wonderful choices for evening dining. The apartment was well looked after with fresh sheets and Bathroom & personal care changed regularly! Finally we are both hoping to make another visit next year as its our “Go to” Place in the sun.

It could do with having a shop within the complex that sold basic goods. The nearest spar supermarket was quite a trek away! They said it was 7 minutes walk- yes if you are an Olympic athlete!

Lovely grounds, peaceful setting. Two wonderful pool areas. The main one was best for families; the other was quieter and better for adults who wanted to snooze and read or listen to music. Water was pretty cool, but refreshing. We had one bedroom apartment. Well equipped, very clean. A bit dated. We don’t normally stay in apartments, so didn’t use the facilities apart from making team and coffee. 15/20 min walk to the marina, so fairly convenient. And loses the noise you would get if staying closer. All in all, a nice surprise, we would recommend.

Lovely place with fabulous pools and gorgeous grounds. Our room was probably the worst one on the complex (2201), it was dark and straight out of the 1970s. But we only booked a 3 night stay and we only use the room to sleep in so we managed ok but would have been really disappointed if we had to stay for a week or more. The shower was rubbish, beds were comfy and kitchen was ok. The reception staff were more than helpful and very friendly. Would go back but would insist on a room with a balcony rather than a room buried in a dark corner of the building.

I was disappointed with the communication - I was concerned about precise location and the possibility of a delayed flight - the property did not respond to my email In the end there was not a problem with check in but a short response would have made the experience less stressful

Firstly the area is stunning, very well kept gardens and lovely pool areas. We had a two bed, two bathroom self catering apartment which was very spacious indeed. Ok, it’s was slightly dated, but very clean and had plenty of crockery, cutlery, a toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board, fridge, cooker and hob. It had a dining, sitting area with tv and patio area with loungers. The negatives are the air con is only in the living room and when the temperature reached 25 / 27 degrees outside it struggled to cool the room. Still we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Pools, restaurant, play ground

This is the fourth time I have stayed here and I would return again, despite not usually being someone to stay in the same place twice. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facilities are more than sufficient for a self-catering complex and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The distance to a supermarket and the marina is perfect yet you feel in a nice quiet area when relaxing around the pool/returning to your room. Highly recommend.

Staff very friendly and pleasant. On check out day we had a late flight so we were able to keep apartment until we were ready to leave as it was not booked that day which was great. Apartment clean on arrival, and cleaning staff call everyday to change towels etc.

A good 30 min walk from main marina uphill. Alot of steps up and down to get to apartment. Not good for anyone with mobility issues. Apartment really needs to be refurbished everything very shabby and worn. Very outdated. Not much life around the bar or restaurant, certainly not somewhere you would have a drink in the evening. If you want somewhere for a base and intend being out and about during the day and evening then these apartments are ok.

This hotel is perfect if you like calm , peace and self catering. The setting and grounds are very well kept. The staff were all so nice. Food in the restaurant is of a high standard. One pool was shut for maintenance due to the storms in Feb- no issue to us. I would come back to this hotel as the location was perfect to walk down to the marina , the spar and the surround bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is really good and accommodating for gluten free requests. we stayed in block 83, the apartment was spacious and our little garden was beautiful. The only negatives I have is the beds were awful , I came home with a bruise from the metal spring sticking into my thigh. The groups of young people that this hotel seemed to be a magnet for shocked me. It was like big school trips or teenagers - really did put us off as they were very loud and large numbers. The English groups of teens we had to ask to move away from us as they were swearing near our daughter and playing football at the end of our sun beds .
