Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Room was very spacious with very comfy bed. Big bathroom, but you need to be careful no one hits your legs when sitting on the loo as the doors open straight on to toilet basin.
Parking! We parked in a nearby car park because, based on the information we found online, parking is not included with the hotel, but the hotel offers a partial subsidy for some nearby car parks. We didn’t realise that only specific car parks were eligible for the subsidy and simply chose the closest one. Perhaps this was a wrong assumption on our part, but if the hotel does not clearly state which car parks are subsidised, it is quite reasonable to assume that the offer applies to nearby city car parks in general. The hotel sends several messages with information about online check-in, etc., so it would be very easy to include the relevant parking information and the names/locations of the participating car parks there as well. When we asked at the desk, we were told that there is limited space on Booking.com to provide this information. I find this a rather ridiculous explanation — if there isn’t enough space on the main property page, the information could simply be included in the pre-arrival message or check-in email. As the hotel is already quite expensive for what it offers, having to pay an additional €50 for one night of parking because the subsidy information was not made clear feels extremely unfair. Clearer information about exactly where the parking subsidy applies would have easily prevented this situation.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026The staff was very nice and helpful. Also, great location; close to the center and all the sites to see, but also walking distance to train and bus station.
I booked a small room for one person. It had a connecting (locked) door to the neighbouring room. Most likely their bathroom. I could follow conversations in the adjoining room literally as well as all the bathroom noises. Not a pleasant experience and as my neighbours stayed up late, I didn't get much rest. Also, the one person room feels like a closet (a bit claustrophobic). That was to be expected for the price. I would advice single travellers to upgrade or look for another hotel.
