The location and the parking spots for disabled people almost in front of entrance.

When you order your stay, you will hope with a hotel part of the Hilton group that your room will be cleaned every day !!! !!!But no .... and at the reception nobody tells you .... but in the bathroom on the mirror, a very small sign says that the room will be cleaned every other day. We stayed for 3 nights ... and never the room was cleaned, and the trash was piling up because you got a mini-oven and so we took some dinner inside our room. I don't tell you how hygienic this can be.

Overall it was a good experience! From the breakfast buffet to the amenities and customer service.

Chris was outstanding with his customer service and displayed hospitality at a high level. He gave us clear instructions on check out, parking, pool hours and the breakfast bar. The room was perfect and clean and quite nice stay. Highly recommend! Thank you Chris!!

Very nice hotel and nice staff. Breakfast was honestly really nice too ! They changed up the protein which was cool. Quiet place and close to many of the attractions in Carlsbad such as the Legoland and any beaches. There’s also a farmers market on Thursday's in Oceanside. Toilet seat was a bit worn lol but overall a very clean place !

The staff was exceptional, very professional and friendly. I was sitting alone in the lobby waiting for family and without even asking, the young lady at the counter brought me a cold water…very much appreciated. The free breakfast was very good, lots of choices, both hot and cold. As far as the room, it was clean, however, the bed felt hard, they should give you an extra blanket, there is only a cover sheet and one blanket. The TV does not give you many choices. Because the hotel is right by the airport, it can be loud. When the air conditioning goes from cold to warm, there is a chemical type of smell, perhaps the vent needs cleaning. Our room was next to the elevator which made it noisy so it you have a choice, ask to be far from the elevator. For the price of the room, I feel we could find something more to our liking.

We booked our room, plus 2 other rooms, for one night after our daughter's wedding. We worked with Tatiana to set up an entire block of rooms for our wedding guests from out of town. Tatiana made the process so easy and checked in with me multiple times to be sure we had enough rooms. Our room itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the night. The hotel has a pool, which I didn't even get a chance to see, and a really good breakfast spread that is included in the cost. Everyone was pleased with their breakfast selection and strong coffee. We also used the conference room after the wedding to catch up with relatives that were flying out the next morning. There was a misunderstanding on my part about the hours that we could use the room, but the employees graciously allowed us to use it after hours. The conference room was clean and comfortable and was perfect for what we needed it for. All of our guests had an excellent stay. If you need a room near Palomar Airport or to access Carlsbad, this is a good find.

The property is well kept and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good, they had a nice variety of options.

The light coming in from the hallway door was kind of annoying to deal with if you aren’t used to sleeping with light. Other than that everything was great.

Hotel is in a good location near to LEGOLAND and outlet mall, rooms were clean and breakfast had many choices. Customer service by Christopher and Jasmine was excellent, overall was a pleasant stay. Definitely this is my hotel when I’m in the San Diego area. Keep up the good job.

Room and lobby area where clean and well presented. It is perfectly located with some great restaurants near by and LEGOLAND only 5 minutes away. Right across the street from the local small airport CLD.

Part of what I didn't like was my own fault. I thought I had booked the Hilton right next door and got the two names messed up. I don't like rooms with only beds and no where else to lounge or relax in the evening. There was no outdoor space. So honestly I went over the other Hilton and hung out in their patio area. They also had hot water for tea. So did this Hilton but the water wasn't hot. There were also minimal supplies in the little snack area so I went to the other Hilton to get those too.

Accommodating, patient and engaging. Great stay. I asked for quiet room and it was. Parking was very adequate. Food was plentiful and fresh. I really liked the choices for coffee. The laundry was very clean and reasonable. Very fair price compared to Others close by.

We will be back to stay at the Hampton Inn again. We love the consistency of amenities at the Hampton and particularly the accommodating staff at the Carlsbad Hampton Inn

The facility was very clean. Parking place for the car.About 20 minutes (bu car) away from San Diego city center. Breakfast was sufficient.

There’s no view and its location is among buildings. Also the entrance to the property wasn’t easily accessible.

Chris Long and Jasmyne assisted in the front lobby, which caused our experience to feel like home a couple times we needed something and immediately they assisted us with smiles, professionally and with care I’m not familiar with the area. Cris was number one and help me get from place to place with the trainsz it was super helpful to be confident, reaching our destinations, knowing we were able to make every train. Jasmine was the last person we saw we left again. I felt like I was gonna be missing out on the smiles and the hugs from the wwekend

This Hampton inn and suites is awesome and a great value!! They have the best customer service! The location is perfect, close to everything!! We had to update our room reservation and add a couple nights and they were so accommodating! Jasmin at the front desk was amazing!! The night audit was wonderful as well at check in! Just the best staff!! We love the breakfast and rooms are clean and fresh! We will continue to stay here over and over again!! Also, this location is close to so much, the beach, grocery, Lego land, and just south of Disneyland

SMELLY room...Musty and possibly food smell. Unwelcoming lobby, hallway, and room were depressing. Never saw an employee except for a housekeeper that accidentally opened our door.

I loved the staff they were very helpful especially Andrew in the front desk.

Hotel was easy to get to from the freeway, parking was a little confusing as it's behind another hotel. Room was nice and clean. Reasonably priced for the location. Noise was not a problem. Service was okay. They had a very nice hot breakfast with many choices.

this hotel is 5 stars because of the staff. they are amazin from chris the manager ( great person) , to jasmine to andrew. all are great. the lady who works in the kitchen is also so nice. free good breakfast, free parking, close to lot of shopping places and restaurants. you can even walk to some nearby restaurants. 10 min drive to legoland. 7 minutes to the outlet, the rooms are well insulated. some rooms have view on the airport, and its not noisy and its very cool at the same time to watch all kind of planes land and take off. pool on the smaller size but the jacuzzi is amazing. also they have clean gym

Service was absolutely incredible -a large portion of the parking area was being re paved which left limited available parking spaces - Chris at the front desk went above and beyond - he apologized for the inconvenience and when we told him we were going to downtown San Diego to attend a Gulls hockey game and would not be back until late that night - he volunteered that if we would call him prior to arriving back to the hotel that night he would give us his parking place - Unbelievable! And he did! When we got back that night he was outside moving cars around to accommodate other hotel guests and he kept his word and saved us a parking space close to the front of the hotel. Everyone else at the hotel was very cheerful and friendly and seemed genuinely appreciative that we were staying there. The room itself was very clean and the breakfast fare was also up to Hampton Inn standards - all in all a very pleasant overnight stay and we will certainly stay here again later this year on our next visit to the area.

Staff member recommended a lunch place, provided me a brochure, and said it was walking distance and good food. It was a quarter mile walk, mostly downhill, but I did not find the place. I walked into a close by brewery and was told that the restaurant did not exist as a brick and mortar bldg but rather. it was a food truck that frequented their location and it would not be there that day. I took a Lyft ride back to the hotel incurirng that cost and ordered lunch via Uber Eats delivery. I told the young lady at the front desk when I returned that her referral was not a good one and explained the situation. She did apologize so I hope she does not refer that place to other guests. The coffee maker in my room was missing parts. It did not have the tray to place the coffee pod in. The black out blind got stuck when fully extended and i was unable to roll it up.

The staff was very kind. Chris was able to accommodate both my friend’s family and our family with connecting rooms, which made the stay especially enjoyable for the children. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Christopher was amazing! He let us borrow a charge. Then our neighbors next store were extremely loud, babies crying. We had to get up early. Christopher changed our room and even came to us to bring the new room key!! Thank you for making our stay pleasant

We get a room last week with my family, everything was amazing. My kids love this place, everyone there are so helpful and nice rooms are amazing and so clean. I planning be there for my next trip to San Diego.

Can’t tell you how impressed we were with the service at this Hampton Inn! For a chain hotel it was unbelievable - the checkin “clerk” could not have been more helpful or considerate and every single employee went out of there way to make our stay perfect! Actually much better staff than at the “fancier” hotels.

The hotel is incredibly clean! We booked two rooms and they gave us side-by-side rooms with a connecting door, which was perfect for our family. Both rooms were spotless and smelled fresh, and even the lobby was very clean. Everything about our stay was perfect—highly recommended!

The best in Carlsbad for excellent customer service and hospitality experience! Chris, the GM, and his entire crew are friendly, efficient, and helpful from arrival to departure. They have a great housekeeping and maintenance team who can handle a guest's special requests. I personally think they have the best Hampton breakfast with plenty of food and a lot of variety from 6-10 AM. I've been stopping by here for some years now, and they never disappoint! Definitely, a clean, quiet location if North San Diego County is your destination. Hilton would be proud and so would you!

I’ve stayed here several times and I stay here whenever I can if they’re not booked, this is absolutely one of the best hotels in the area… not just the accommodations .. but the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.. Everything is updated… cleanliness is excellent.. breakfast is awesome.. the location can’t be beat….. I actually do extended stays when possible.. I travel quite often… at least six times a year… I would absolutely recommend this hotel.. although I’m hesitant to do so because I always want to be able to book here 😉

The hotel is clean. Service is great especially Chris. I always have a smile when I come in nice place. right off of the main street. It’s easy to find San Diego‘s beautiful.
