The manageress Amy was excellent. Position good as was room and facilities.

An apple was the only fresh food offered for breakfast. The whole breakfast experience was soulless.

Beautiful setting and great location. Incredible deck that opened onto a lovely yard and spectacular views. The on-site manager Amy was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our stay was wonderful.

This was a beautiful location. There were lots of amenities.

It seemed to have a lot of rules. I understand they are there to protect people. Renting during ski season may draw a different clientele.

Had a one-night stay at the Lodge, mid-September (off-seasion) so the restaurant was not open, and things were very quiet there. We arrived late day/early evening, so were simply looking for a restful evening/sleep. We had that.

Had a squirrel in the ceiling chase, did tell staff about it. It isn't that we didn't like that (wasn't a problem for us, squirrel went to sleep, too), but it's something the site will need to address.

Beautiful mountain ski lodge with welcoming staff. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of travel.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation with the loveliest receptionist. Our room was beautiful, featuring a balcony and a view of the forest. Bathrobes were even provided, making it easy to walk to the hot tub in swimwear. Breakfast was fine (no hot dishes, but options included making oatmeal, cereal, and toast, as well as yogurt). We also enjoyed the communal area, the outdoor sauna, and the hot tub (though the latter could have been cleaner).

Amy the manager is a gem! We had vehicle trouble that delayed our arrival. We left a message and Amy returned our call and assured us that it would not be a problem to arrive late. The secluded location and small size of this lodge located right on the mountain was glorious. This is a mountain boutique lodge. Why would anyone stay in Golden when this gorgeous lodge exists! Perfect

Tout, le lieu, le superbe ranch, l’appartement avec la vue sur le lac et les montagnes au loin , les nombreux animaux, l’emplacement avec la kettle valley raid Trail à côté ( on part à vélo du ranch ) . Rien ne manque dans l’appartement, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Et enfin, la gentillesse de Stephanie et Adrien.

Wir waren im letzten Jahr schonmal dort und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Lage ist super , die Zimmer geräumig, komfortabel und gemütlich. Selbst den Regen am Morgen haben wir genossen

Kleinigkeiten. Das Fenster im Bad war kaputt und ließ sich nicht öffnen, die Nachttischlampe flackerte. Ein Monteur wollte sich aber nach Abreise kümmern.

Le cadre est idéal, ma chambre en mezzanine avait vue sur les montagnes et le réveil avec le lever du soleil était très agréable. Le lodge est cosy, on s’y sent bien et on aimerait avec ce genre de lieu comme seconde résidence au Canada. Je n’ai pas testé le jacuzzi, ni le sauna mais c’est un bon point après une journée de randonnée pour se détendre. Le personnel s’est montré accueillant et disponible, c’était appréciable.

Comme l’indique certains avis, le petit déjeuner mériterait d’être un peu plus fourni en salée. Rien de rédhibitoire ceci dit. Cela demande une autre organisation mais il serait appréciable d’avoir un réfrigérateur avec du fromage, de la charcuterie et éventuellement deux ou trois autres aliments salée pour contrebalancer.

Tout, absolument tout. L’endroit est magnifique, le personnel est aux petits soins et nous y avons passé un merveilleux moment. C’est vraiment un endroit atypique où on se sent bien de la porte franchie.

I absolutely loved the bathtub and everything about the room! It felt so cozy and so spacious. It was beautiful and had an amazing view. I definitely come back and recommend to anyone going to Golden or passing through.

Sehr nette gepflegte Lodge im alpinen Still. Sehr freundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon, ein großes Badezimmer mit ovaler Badewanne. Die Betten waren mit warmer Decke ausgestattet und sehr angenehm. Ein kleines Frühstück war inklusive. Es wird u.a. Nespresso-Kaffee angeboten, wenn man Kaffee zum Frühstück möchte, ansonsten Tee, Wasser und Orangensaft. Die Lage am Berg ist sehr ruhig und erholsam für alle die die Ruhe suchen. Im Winter ist die Lage am Berg neben dem Kicking Horse Resort Schigebiet sicherlich ebenfalls außergewöhnlich.

Im Zimmer hätte es etwas wärmer sein können.

Toilet was not bolt into the floor, very loose, not feel safe to sit on, make noise at night Night stands are too old, not maintained, protruding out nail, poking guests, Bathtub is way too high for shorter people. No hair dryer, no heat in the room, no slippers, very cold floor in the bathroom Door is not shutting on its own, very heavy to open and close, the whole lodge is very echoing, noisy. Robes are scratchy, towels are not soft, toilet paper is very thin, easy to rip as well. Coffee is very very bad, tasted like plastic No amenities around unless you wanted a 30$ hamburger Sauna takes 90 minutes to warm up No proper tea table in the room. Very tiny table and low to the ground

La habitación era amplia y bonita. El espacio en general esta muy bien cuidado y es muy hogareño. Las camas son cómodas, muy limpio.

Bellissima struttura nella natura. Attenzione perchè non è a Golden ma in una stazione sciistica a 15 minuti di auto. C'è un solo ristorante molro buono ma aperto dal mercoledì alla domenica. C'è un'area comune con microonde ma non c'è cucina.

Zeer prijzig. In de zomer erg afgelegen en stille plek. Ontbijt valt tegen; alleen voorverpakte spullen van mindere kwaliteit. Het hotel verdient wat aandacht en zorg!

Good secluded location in the middle of the mountains, modern interior, friendly staff. Heating was working really well. Sauna. Clear recommendation.

We quickly ran out of yogurt for the breakfast. And coffee was mostly decaffeinated. No bears around during our stay :(

L'emplacement éloigné et isolé mais finalement très agréable - Accueil très sympathique- Belle architecture extérieure soignée - belle terrasse pour la chambre même si nous n'avions pas la meilleure chambre compte-tenu de la durée du séjour courte - Espaces généraux agréables - Une restaurant très bien juste à côté: super car redescendre dans la station c'est long.

PD tout plastique - au final plus de contenants que de contenus de toute façon de mauvaise qualité - Equipement chambre minimaliste : un lit, 2 chaises et c'est tout dans une grande chambre -

We could hear other guests - someone's dog was barking inside. The showers/tub are beautiful with nice water pressure, but if you have mobility issues, you won't get in. We don't personally have mobility problems and came up to hike, but the tub is treacherously slippery if you stand for the shower.

Pregunté si tenían opiniones para desayunar sin gluten. Lo hice 2 meses antes de la llegada y no me contestaron hasta unos días antes que lo volví a preguntar. Una vez allí me dijeron que no tenían y que lo mismo iba al pueblo a comprar algo, pero no sé hizo. Entiendo que con un poco de previsión hubiera sido un detalle haber tenido algo que se ha preguntado con tanta antelación. Pienso que esto se podía cuidar mejor ya que no está cerca de otros sitios para desayunar.

Amazing location with bears on the doorstep. Staff were helpful and welcoming, rooms clean and comfortable with georgeous balconies. If in the area again I'd definitely choose this lodge.

The only criticisms, and Im being picky, were the breakfast could have been a little more varied and the rooms a little quieter. However as I said I'd definitely stay here again.

Das "kontinentale" Frühstück ist sehr limitiert auf Süßes und vorgefertigte Produkte. Besser eigene Sachen mitbringen, das ist auch kein Problem von Seiten der Besitzer.

Winston Lodge is simply amazing, along the mountains just 12 min driving from Golden City. It's a very typical mountain Lodge, rooms are great amenities also

the only thing is that there's no lift in the lodge and the access door is upstairs, so if you travel with a lot of luggage is not comfortable.

Great rooms, very clean, and loved sitting on our balcony with a drink (we saw a black bear which was very exciting!). Hot tub was also fantastic after a day of hiking and you are very close to the gondola for hiking!

Only real let down was the breakfast - very basic for £200 a night. But the rest was lovely!

A very warm welcome. A lovely room with 2 double beds and a large bathroom. Beds extremely comfortable.

The bathroom needed a blind as it looked out onto the rear parking area and trees but felt a little exposed. Kettle was a bit hit and miss

Lodge très chic et décoré avec goût, bonne literie, chambre très propre. Sympa d'avoir un "hot tub" à disposition. Le lodge est excentré par rapport à Golden mais ce n'était pas une surprise, et du coup l'environnement est particulièrement calme.

Points d'amélioration: la procédure d'arrivée n'était pas 100% fluide ; le petit déjeuner est perfectible.

The continental breakfast was sufficient, only because we didn't want a hot breakfast. Coffee was great. The location is quiet and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Amy answered all our questions and was amazing.

We're in our mid-sixties with achy knees and didn't realize our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator, so we had to haul our bags up a long flight of stairs to our room.

Fantastische plek op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden van Golden. Deze mooie lodge ademt wintersport uit maar is ook in de zomermaanden een geweldige plek om te verblijven. In de zomer kan er worden geborreld/gedineerd in de naast gelegen lodge, maar ook zijn er verschillende restaurants op rij afstand te vinden. We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen en werden gewezen op de sauna en jacuzzi waar gebruik van kon worden gemaakt. De kamer waar wij in verbleven was erg ruim, had een groot balkon en prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en bergen.

Mooie locatie in een ski-gebied met diverse eetgelegenheden. De ontvangst was heel persoonlijk met een rondleiding. De sfeer van het hotel is zeer aangenaam met mooie kamers.

Toegang tot het hotel is minimaal via een helling en een paar treden of een langere trap.

Hier hat man wirklich ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Die Lodge liegt im Wald und ist sehr gemütlich und familiär! Alles ist aus Holz aber trotzdem sehr schick! Die Zimmer waren groß und sehr sauber! Es gab Bademäntel für alle und gemütliche Betten! Der Whirlpool und die Sauna im Garten waren wunderschön! Mitten in der Natur! Zu jeder Zeit konnte man sich Getränke (Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Saft ) und sogar frisches Obst nehmen! Wir würden immer wieder kommen! Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und waren total nett! Das Frühstück war ausreichend und war lecker!

The staff was so amazing and accommodating. The girl with the UK accent was so insanely kind to us, she made our stay special. And the bath was super nice and relaxing.

Breakfast options could have been a tiny bit better for the price. And the hot tub could have been open later.

Super ausgestattete, grosse FeWo mit Grill auf der Terrasse. Frühstück war etwas eingeschränkt in der Auswahl und alles abgepackt, aber trotzdem gut. Lage etwas abseits von Golden. Gegenüber gab es ein Restaurant, das fanden wir etwas überteuert.

Close to mountain and lifts, but far from city

Room very small for 4 ppl even it was saying quadruple, especially no place for bags. NO AC at all! And summer can be quite hot there. Breakfast almost non existent, spoiled boiled eggs , stale waffles, had to eat cereal and yogurt as it all what left. Nice coffee machine in lobby though, sauna and spa we didn’t use, if stay one night it’s quite impossible as you need sign waiver and nobody there. But for one night quite okay. 5/10 in general

There was a sauna located directly outside our windows where people spent their time, so it was quite noisy. The walls also had poor sound insulation, making the room even noisier. The air in the room felt stale and unpleasant. The bathroom was inconvenient. There wasn't even a table in the room. The breakfast was very basic.

酒店的位置比我想象得离黄金镇远，但酒店很有特色，小而安静得存在。尤其是浴缸，是比较大的按摩浴缸，但可惜我们就住一晚，而且入住时又太晚了，没能享用，还挺遗憾。

The lodge was nice a little older but well maintained. The unit was clean and comfortable, and self check in access was easy.

There wasn’t any air conditioning so it was hot when we arrived and very few windows had screens. So even though the evening cooled down it was hard to get the unit comfortable for sleeping

Es un lugar hermoso, con grandes detalles y una decoración de muy buen gusto. Nos encanto la cercanía con la naturaleza y al mismo tiempo con la zona de actividades como la gondolas o la visita al oso Boo.

Muy pocos detalles por mejorar, las opciones en el desayuno por ejemplo.

Prachtige lokatie dichtbij alle faciliteiten. Wij waren er in de zomer en komen zeker in de winter nog eens terug.

We stayed with two small kids. No air conditioning, very hot. Very small fan that didn’t make much impact. There is a hot tub out side our window which had loud residents in it making it tricky to open the window for the kids. There is no blind or curtain on the window in the room (the top part) meaning it was very bright. Together this made for a poor nights sleep with young kids. The price was comparable to other accommodation in the area but very expensive by normal standards.

The lodge is beautiful and set in the lovely forest. It was immaculately clean, the room was spacious and the bath was fantastic - huge and overlooking the woods. Breakfast was simple but nice. The hot tub and sauna, whilst looked inviting, we didn't have time to try.

The Lodge provides a great balance between secluded retreat and ease of access to amenities. An ample private balcony and luxurious bath with a mountain view were highlights of the room. The common area encourages cozy socialization with the other guests.

The rooms are sparsely furnished. We found ourselves limited in storage with no table, desk, or luggage stand in the room. Food preparation options are similarly limited, a single microwave and toaster in the building encourages supporting local restaurants the most viable choice

This is an excellent lodge great location for gondola at Kicking Horse. Staff very helpful
