Great location
Room smelled terrible, not clean. Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, made inappropriate comments that we could not spell a property email correctly which was found to be not true, did not apologize.
Good choice and hot
Nothing
Muy cómodo, atención muy cordial y excelente ubicación
Todo estuvo bien
Accomodations were excellent, very clean and comfortable
Breakfast not included
Air conditioning didn't seem to work
Great location, great restaurant and staff!
Hotel is dated and seems overpriced for what you get
It was walking distance to the University Football field
There was no microwave in room. But front desk instructed me to use he one on the main floor
Bedding was nice. Breakfast and Starbucks were good. Two small bottles of water provided per day.
Not a $400/night hotel. Shower didn't work until a guy came up and banged on it a bit; ridiculous to pay $15/night for parking in such a big lot not downtown as a Marriot member. They printed us an invoice for the wrong room and we noticed their first night was $100 less than ours. The guys at the desk weren't overly welcoming. For an expensive hotel you would expect magnifying mirror, maybe a robe or a decent coffee maker.
Excellent!
Friendliness of staff
Nothing
Quiet, Clean.
Breakfast not included
Well trained staff who provided good customer service.. very helpful front desk staff.
I was there without a vehicle. The hotel is not located near any shops/ restaurants so was fairly isolated.
Stayed on the Victoria Day weekend. Good hotel, but overpriced for the location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Coffee bar on the main floor is nice and staff are friendly. I would give it more than 3 stars if the price was more reasonable.
Convenient and close
Squeaky bed Broken ice dispenser Disappointing exercise facility
Good location, bed fairly comfortable
The price in the end for one nights stay was crazy. We go to Guelph a lot and I will certainly stay some place more affordable next time.
the room was clean and nice and everything was great, the staff was very helpful and welcoming
The breakfast that was included was not really a breakfast and you needed to add money if your bill was over $25, there were 4 of us and coffee was around $4 so we ended up adding around $100 in total for 2 days stay and the parking wasn't free and we were charged around $25 a day, all of this would be fine if we knew before we booked the stay which was primarily because of the breakfast and parking. Overall the stay was great but the extra charges was not something we planned on spending.
I stayed a this hotel because it's right next to the University of Guelph, which I was visiting for a campus tour. I arrived be rental car, and there was plenty of parking available. The check-in service was good. Jonathan checked me in, and he was very polite and well mannered. We went through the standard ID and credit card checks, and he went through the hotel amenities. As this Delta doesn't have a lounge or pantry, they provide free breakfast for platinum (or greater) member + 1 guest, which I gladly took over the points. We given a room on the 6th (top) floor. As we walked through, the noted the lobby and hallways are nice enough. They're dated, but well-kept and clean. Our room felt the same in terms of look. I'm not sure if we were upgraded, but the room had a small living area with sofa-bed, and then a separate bedroom. It was roomy enough. Had a microwave, mini-fridge and small sink which are handy. Bathroom was good size, and WiFi worked well. I didn't notice any road noise, but I think the fridge was a bit on the loud side - which isn't a concern for anyone sleeping in the bedroom, but bothersome for the person sleeping on the sofa bed. The hotel restaurant, Bar Mason, was notably good. For dinner we shared a pizza which was pleasantly good. The chicken wings were ok. As for breakfast, we got a smoked salmon benny and avocado toast - also both good. As for free platinum member breakfasts go, it was better than average in quality and there were no limitations on what we could pick as long as it one menu item and one drink each. I didn't use any of the other amenities. There is a small strip mall behind the hotel, but there isn't much close otherwise. The only reason I stayed here was to go to the university, which is just across the street. My stay was fine. The hotel was generally ok, but nothing special. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The rate I paid was relatively high, but it was for the convenience of visiting the University of Guelph.
No bellmen to help with bags .
It serves my needs
I would say drinking water was really bad
The location is good. I could buy a Starbucks coffee in the lobby.
The room was small- it was a “suite” with kitchenette but didn’t have anything included in the room that isn’t found in any of the hotel rooms. No dishes, glasses or anything for the so called kitchentte. The only difference between our room and a hotel was an added wall- one less bed replaced by a sofa bed. We were told it was a king suite but it had a queen size bed. The fitness centre is dreary with very little equipment - sets of some dumbbells only had one weight. It’s obvious they don’t invest anything in the fitness centre. There wasn’t a breakfast included.
Hi! My husband and I stayed at the Delta Conference Centre recently...flew to Kitchener/Waterloo and took in our daughter's spring show at the University across the street from the hotel. We had SUCH a good time. We flew in early Saturday morning, had a lovely breakfast at the onsite restaurant Bar Mason (which has amazing food...especially the flatbread wood fired pizza) and then waited around to check in. Summer was amazing! She let us check in early and we crashed in the comfy king bed. The room had two areas... a private bedroom with TV and the sitting area had a pullout sofa, mini fridge, microwave, bathroom and another TV. We settled right in! The Stone Road Mall and many other restaurants just a few kilometres away. What a perfect location for us! We will always stay here!
Room was clean and everything was well maintained. Restaurant servers were great especially Joud with her excellent memory and kindness.
Very comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.
Lunch expensive. Preprepared pizza put in the stone oven to get a little char, came to the table cold. Breakfast expensive; Muffin and a coffee for $20?
Carpets were dusty
The room was very out of date, especially the bathroom. Way past its best before date!!!
Make sure I am put in up to date room!
Location- close to the university and also close to the city center
Would have loved a buffet breakfast
Everything! Location, room, bar!
No complaints
Overall, just a very nice hotel and the staff are really friendly!
Nothing
They charged additional for parking, it's generally included in the price.
Great location and lovely staff
Tge room was clean .
The staff was little rude. upon the check in the resiptionesits was rude , talked to us in very inappropriate way .its a new year day and a truck with very load noice was driving randomly trying to remove the snow at 7 am . so in reality we did not have much sleep , we went to sleep after 2 am( its new years eve) and he wake us up at 7 am and scared our dog , he was literally shivering. we could not go back to sleep , all day tired . our day was destroyed. and the thing when we were leaving the hotel we noticed that he did a very bad job removing the snow . it was all messy and slepry . when I mentioned it the person, she did not even cares.
Friendly and helpful front desk. The rooms were large and clean.
Room was quiet and comfortable; onsite restaurant was very good.
I thought it was pricey - $214 for the room, $18 to park, plus taxes etc.
Room size was nice
Location wasn't best for me.
The Delta Hotel in Guelph is centrally located and makes visits to the university, mall or the downtown area quick and easy. There is plenty of parking and the rooms are clean and updated. Also onsight is a restaurant & bar with great breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Great for a full meal or something quick before getting on the road. Coffee and handhelds to go are also available at the attached cafe. If visiting the university is in your plans, the Delta is just a moment away. If you plan to visit the adorable downtown area, that is just a quick drive down the road and might even afford an ice cream stop by the river and a record store or two along the way. Guelph is a great town and a hotel like the Delta makes the accommodation part of your journey easy and convenient.
The breakfast was good
Nothing
Nice place, comfortable bed
Little pricey for food
Room service via hotel
Charges for parking, have to pay almost $5 for a decent coffee
Breakfast to go was excellent: yogurt parfait, fruit cup and breakfast burrito.
Friendly staff
Due an upgrade - bit dull..
Close enough to all the locations that we needed to visit. Easy to find. Nice restaurant with friendly staff.
The hotel charged us for parking. You should see the huge parking lot that they have and yet they feel the need to charge extra.
The hotel was fine but no hair dryer or socket to charge iPhone. My biggest issue is that they have yet to return my $75 Can deposit, some 18 days after I checked out.
They charged me many extra fees and repeatedly insisted the charges were from Booking.com. You need to check your card carefully; otherwise, you risk losing money. It was a bad experience with unexpected extra charges. They didn’t seem to know what was going on, the situation was embarrassing.

Front desk staff were very nice beds were great
We were chilly and no extra blankets in the room. I’m sure had we called front desk we’d get some but it was late so we didn’t bother
I felt comfortable.
We were preparing to sing at a wedding so wanted to practise in the room. They put us on the top floor with no one on either side of us…and it seems we did not disturb anyone else. They also extended our check-out to 1pm. That was really great stsrt for our 3 pm wedding day. 💕
Great place clean quiet Sad they now charged for parking $15 Rooms are already expensive Sad they do not offer gym memberships across the street at Movati Won’t be staying again sadly
Room was nice enough but the air conditioning sounded like an airplane taking off every time it started. And was not happy having to pay $15 for parking in a Guelph suburb!
Clean Easy Cozy
It was beautiful all around

Clean room, lovely staff, conveniently located for the University. Hallway noises were quite loud at times. Not the best a/c system.
Rude Staff, Poor service in their restaurant - took 50 minutes for one order for a single person. Required 250 dollar deposit if booking by debit card - Not mentioned on Expedia site. Extremely poor customer service.
The hotel was beautiful, but it was very loud outside from the road noise. Sirens and loud cars racing up the street all night.
Perfect stay.
Everything was perfect !
This hotel is handy for dining and shop whether by car or on foot.
Easy access to university, downtown, major shopping.
weekend getaway, comfortable beds, very well located to the places we wanted to visit.
Clean room, Business friendly
The room was comfortable and quiet. Stayed on the 5th floor away from the main road. Attended a conference during the day, which was also well taken care of by the hotel staff.
