I love it all I love the patio and the very kind and helpful staff.

We Loved everything about this property all the amenities.

friendly staff, helpful... clean lobby, good breakfast..bed was comfy

rug is frayed, not safe bathroom is in awful condition. tub old and so marked up and was hair in it..bathroom floor/baseboard areas filthy.. dirty doors inside and out thru out the room.. toilet so old, seat broken and no grab bar.. old toilet so low hard for seniors to use..grab bar in shower rusty and gross! whole bathroom needs redone!! turned us off!!

The property was conveniently located with easy access to local shops, including several supermarkets and a large shopping mall. The property also boasted a swimming pool, which was heated, plus a full gym. The hotel also provided free parking.

The hotel communal areas appeared better looked after than the rooms, which is a shame. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which at first glance looks impressive and large, however, what you can’t see from the photos were the dust in the bathrooms, and the room we stayed in smelt rather musky and damp. The cleaning of the room was very minimal, despite signs saying rooms would be lightly attended to if staying for less than 7 days. Unfortunately, we did not experience this and only received new towels once and never had our bed made, which was disappointing.

Parking felt a little under light.

I didn't like our room being changed to a different room than I paid for on arrival. The front desk stated that the room was an upgrade but in reality it was not because it had 2 double beds instead of the queen bed originally booked. The staff apologized and got us the room we paid for.

The room was spacious and very clean. The amenities were great! I used the gym, went to the pool with my daughter, used the business centre to print a document, and did laundry, and it was so nice to have all of these things in the building. The staff were friendly, and the housekeeping was consistent and great!

I was exceptionally pleased with the over all experience from the very start! Extremely friends staff that great u when u come in down to the good morning from the housekeepers. This was the very first time my daughter and I had stayed and I can honestly say that we are planing our next trip back to Guelph and will be staying here again.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pet fee is reasonable. Always a pleasant stay.

Convenient location for the reason we were in town. Good traffic flow.

The view from the window could have been better. We looked out on a lot of traffic moving in all directions! As for safety of the surrounding area, hard to judge as any area, no matter what surrounds the hotel, can be a possible problem. The surrounding area appeared industrial, so was quiet overnight.

Very nice breakfast offerings; both hot and cold options. Baked goods; breads, yogurt, fresh fruit medley, hot oatmeal, scrambled eggs, ham/bacon; it was all there. Area was clean and nicely laid out. Food service staffer always looking out of things. They also had very good coffee which is a real find in hotels these days. No need to stop elsewhere for a 'good' cup of coffee as we left for home. That was a very welcomed treat!

Room was very cold when we arrived. Would've been nice for temp to have been adjusted ahead of our arrival. Room was decent and nicely done up. Beds were comfortable.

No where really to walk to for a pint during the day if you're without a car, but everything else was perfect.

The lobby, breakfast area, pool and gym are all great. The staff are excellent.

The kitchen adds so many options for our stay that a regular hotel just does not. The price is higher but we save by not having to eat out for lunch and supper. Breakfast had some decent options.

The eggs for breakfast were in the same container as the sausages. This meant as ovo lacto vegetarians, we couldn't eat the eggs. A simple thing to fix.

Exellent facilities great breakfasts each day and the coffee all day s great . Along with very helpful staff it was a great stay

The only real issue was the fact the pool did not open until 10am every day which prevented an early swim before breakfast

beds were like sleeping on cement floor, hard as a rock, couldnt sleep much at all.

Het ontbijtbuffet was te klein voor het aantal gasten, met maar 1 tosti-apparaat voor iedereen en niet genoeg ruimte als iemand op zijn geroosterd brood stond te wachten bij de rest van het ontbijt te kunnen komen.

Night staff was right on mark, Competent, respectful, and professional.

I could not locate cream or sugar for coffee in the room. When I went down to the lobby at 0530, the coffee wasn't available then either. I had believed I could get a coffee anytime. There was no one around the front desk to check out either, I think he was in the process of making coffee. It's minor, I'll likely stay again.

Room was excellent for our needs. We enjoyed the varied breakfast that was available Really appreciated the hot drinks that were available in the kitchen area throughout our stay

I liked everything.

My stay was short but I throughly enjoyed my time here and I have no complaints. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean and just as described and shown in the pictures. The breakfast options were sufficient for me and the complimentary dinner on Wednesday night was a life saving touch. I expected more options at the dinner but the poutine was quite good 😊 so it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. All in all I’d stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Also wanted to highlight that access the bus was quite easy and a quick walk put me right on the route to everywhere I had to go. On the amenities I used - the hot water worked well, water pressure was good, WiFi was good.

It’s very clean and welcoming. I find the rooms have absolutely everything you could think to need and I love the rooms with kitchen etc.

Large parking lot. Excellent location. Beautiful spacious suites with separate bedrooms and full kitchen. Two minute walk to Tim Hortons and PetroCanada gas station with convenience store.

Ideal location that's easy to access from Ontario Hwy 401, also room and public areas were exceptionally clean and well maintained.

Only issue is, at check in, the deposit hold should be disclosed before signing for it.

I often stay at Staybridge hotels when traveling for business and need a convenient overnight stop. The standard is generally consistent across the brand, with differences mainly in staff, property age, and maintenance. Staybridge Guelph stands out as one of the best-maintained properties in the franchise, with very pleasant and helpful staff. The location is excellent for a stopover stay.

A bit pricey compared to usual Staybridge rates.

The Facilities were great, the size of the rooms was great...on the whole the place was awesome!

Only complaint was the furnace in our suite. The thermostat was set at 78 when we got there and the room was 78 so too hot. We lowered it to 71 and over 24 hour period went down to 69..raised it to 74 and over night dropped to 66 and furnace continually ran in our room...a little annoying and no heat...with 6 people in the suite! Otherwise accomodations , space, amenities, breakfast, common areas were amazing. I commented to the front desk at check out on the furnace issue and we were given a 20% discount for both nights! So all in all totally satisfied! Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again!

I wish the TV had of been a smart TV in order to connect my own streaming services. There wasn’t much on cable and I genuinely got the room as a mom night away where all I had to do was relax. I ended up watching things on my phone.

As always, everything went well and the staff could not have been more pleasant. The hotel continues to maintain high standards and provides great value, especially since it provides well equipped kitchenettes and dynamite breakfasts.

Only one observation - toilets are too low for those who have had recent hip or knee replacements.

We always have a great experience with Staybridge, a suite with two very comfortable double beds. The kitchen was great, clean & nicely equipped! My following comments are meant purely for awareness: Our room was on the first floor and seemed smaller than previous visits. It was very tight to get to the closet/vanity area. Also, there was a closet door with louvres which allowed very cold air into the room.

The location

I didn't like the layout of the room. The TV was at a bad angle and the bed was right next to the washroom.

Excellent room and breakfast

one small thing - beeping from dishwasher cycle didn't finish from previous customer that stayed at the hotel. I spent a ton of time trying to figure it out and had to call for support. the front desk person was extremely helpful and came right away. perhaps add a note to explain to customers what to do in the event of the dishwasher beeping.

The staff are all friendly and remember me and who I am they also know why I was staying there, the room is a decent size and accommodate me very well. I like the idea of breakfast every morning and a few nights of having light dinner which save me from going out to look for something when I don't need a heavy diner.

Since staying for a longer period of time breakfast can be better a different choice each morning but appreciate it all the same. I didn't like that for a long stay customer that extend stay I wish the rate would be lower or better and also your system does not allow to calculate your stay after you pay meaning I had book 8 nights first then paid for the eight nights and I asked for the calculation for the other nights that I extended as I need it for insurance purpose and the system keep calculating all of the combine stay so it would be nice to have that in place to get the calculation when need for just future reservations.

The room was super spacious and dynamic which was nice having a busy 1.5 yr old with me. The breakfast was also fabulous!

The pool was a lot colder then I was expecting. We still swam, but you had to stay moving or you would get cold. It was also deep everywhere which was okay, but no where my 1.5 yr old could stand in the cold. I'd bring a floaty next time.
