The location is amazing, peaceful and calm.

There are lot of lizards and coach roaches which come into the cottage. But the staff was very quick and helpful to manage these situations.

Good experience, food was delicious, great pool area. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is good.

Un hotel vechi,dar destul de bine intretinut.Camera a fost curată și destul de spatioasă.Domeniul hotelului e vast și vă puteți incânta cu observarea animalelor sălbatice.

Mâncarea a fost extrem de proastă.(mic dejun&cină)Multe feluri de mâncare,toate extrem de prost gătite și chiar nu exgerez.Am vizitat Sri Lanka pt a treia oara și am mâncat foarte bine,dar aici tot ce-am putut consuma a fost pâine,unt și cam atât!Pernele au fost tari și foarte inalte.Vă puteți caza,dar vă sugerez să evitați ofertele cu mâncare......sunt bani aruncați!

It was very peaceful and luxurious. The rooms have lots of space and the staff are so friendly. 10/10 for me!

A localização é excelente. Ao lado de um lago com vistas lindíssimas, árvores antigas endógenas com muita diversidade de pássaros com uma piscina muito boa. O quarto era grande, muito confortável e limpo. A comida do pequeno almoço e jantar era de grande variedade e alta qualidade.

O serviço foi muito irregular. Alguns funcionários muito prestáveis, outros não... Um dia não aceitavam pedidos de comida na piscina e noutro dia aceitavam. Notámos algum atendimento preferencial com alguns hóspedes.

Beautiful and peaceful property with charming architecture, lush gardens and an excellent swimming pool. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very well serviced every day. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very generous, with lots of variety and good vegetarian options. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Champika, Senarathne and Sumith. We also really appreciated the complimentary birthday cake with a candle prepared for a family celebration.

Communication could be improved. At check-in, there was no clear explanation of the activities available, timings, services or other practical information, so we had to discover many things ourselves. At dinner, bottled water was offered automatically at an extra cost, although free drinking water in a jug was also available. This option should be explained more clearly. We also had an issue with a bottle of wine that was charged at a price around 30% higher than the one shown on the menu. The staff corrected it immediately and handled the situation well, but the pricing information should be kept updated. The Wi-Fi was often very slow and unstable.

Loved everything about this hotel, from the friendly staff to the rooms and pool area and the huge selection of food at breakfast and at dinner.

We had such a lovely stay at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana, and what will stay with us most is the genuine warmth and kindness we experienced from the staff. Travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging, but the team made us feel so welcome and truly went out of their way to make our family feel at home. A special thank you to **Malvin**, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. He regularly checked in on us, always making time for a friendly chat and, most importantly, taking the time to acknowledge and interact with our son. Those little moments meant a lot to us as parents and really made us feel looked after. Our biggest highlight was the care shown by the **chefs, particularly Chef Mohammad Salih and Anura**. They went above and beyond to give us a genuine Sri Lankan experience while making sure our toddler was also fully catered for. They prepared special dinners for him every evening, which was incredibly thoughtful and made mealtimes so much easier for us. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making our whole family happy. A very special thank you to **Chef Mohammad** for the fun ice cream tasting. It was such an unexpected and memorable experience, and the **chilli ice cream is an absolute must-try for anyone who loves a bit of heat!** We would also like to thank our **room attendant, who we believe is named Narendra**, for the lovely touches during our stay. The beautiful **elephant towel display he created for our son** was such a thoughtful gesture. Seeing our little boy's face when he saw it was priceless, and it was one of those small details that we will remember from our stay. Another lovely experience was our impromptu tour with **Shakti** of the butterfly garden and organic farm. It was wonderful to learn about the fruits, vegetables and herbs grown on the property and used in the restaurant. It gave us a real appreciation for the thought and effort that goes into the food and experiences at the lodge.

There are a few areas where we feel the hotel could improve. The **WiFi could be better**, particularly in terms of speed and stability. The **mattresses are also very hard and uncomfortable**, and we would recommend either updating them or providing good-quality mattress toppers. The **air conditioning in our room also needs attention**. It did not seem to be as effective as the one in my mum's room, which resulted in a few hot and uncomfortable evenings. This was particularly disappointing as we had paid extra to upgrade our room, so we would have expected the air conditioning to be consistently comfortable. We also found that the **check-in experience at reception could be warmer and more communicative**. Compared with the wonderful hospitality we experienced from the rest of the team, our interactions with some of the female reception staff felt quite reserved, and we were sometimes left having to *guess what the next step was* during check-in. A little more guidance, communication and warmth at this point would make the arrival experience much smoother and more welcoming. Despite these points, our overall experience was very positive. **It was the people who made our stay special.** The warmth, kindness and genuine care shown towards our family — and especially towards our son — made us feel incredibly welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana and were extremely happy with the overall experience. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent pool to the fantastic food and, most importantly, the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, everything made our stay very special. One of the highlights for our kids was the butterfly garden. They absolutely loved exploring it and seeing the beautiful butterflies up close. It was a lovely experience for the whole family and a great way for the kids to connect with nature. We also had the opportunity to take part in the in-house ice cream tasting, which was a super interesting and enjoyable experience. It was great to learn more about the process and taste the different flavours, definitely one of the memorable experiences from our stay. A special thank you to the F&B team, especially Melvin, Gayan, Chef Saliya and Chef Ravindra, who went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. What really impressed us was how they customised meals specifically for our kids according to our requirements. This level of care and personal attention made a huge difference and was genuinely appreciated. The morning and dinner buffets were excellent, with an impressive variety of dishes and so many choices. There was something for everyone, and we really enjoyed trying the different dishes throughout our stay. The à la carte menu also had a very good selection, with plenty of great choices. A special mention also goes to Anura from Housekeeping, who was always friendly, helpful and attentive. His service and attention to detail were greatly appreciated and contributed to making our stay comfortable. The pool was another big highlight, especially for the kids. They had a fantastic time enjoying the pool and the beautiful surroundings. Overall, we are extremely happy with our stay at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana.

Their quick response and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction completely turned our experience around! A special mention must go to our housekeeper, Suhan. His cleaning of our room each day was absolutely exemplary, and his warm, friendly demeanor made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. My mother found the resort facilities—especially the stunning swimming pool and lush surrounding gardens—to be incredibly peaceful, rating them as some of the most relaxing she has ever experienced. Thanks to the management's swift action and the fantastic team on the ground, we ended up having a wonderful holiday. We would now happily recommend Cinnamon Lodge Habarana to anyone visiting the area!

הגענו זוג וילד בן 11, החדר היה גדול המיטה היתה פחות נוחה והריהוט היה קצת ישן. אכלנו 2 ארוחות בוקר וארוחת ערב והאוכל היה בסדר גמור הרבה סוגים ומגוון מאד. חשוב לדעת שבמלון ישנם 2 סוגי קופים, לטאות כח וסנאים. מי שמגיע שידע למה לצפות. לנו ביום הראשון קבוצת קופים היו ממש על החדר שלנו. המלון ענק הצוות נמחד מאד.

We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay here. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable stay. The staff were exceptional — truly some of the best, if not the best, we experienced during our entire holiday in Sri Lanka. We would especially like to thank Chef Ravindra Samarakoon for the amazing ice cream tasting experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, and the chilli-flavoured ice cream was such a fun and unexpected surprise! Thank you, Chef, and the entire restaurant team for your excellent service and for making the experience so special. A special mention also goes to our butler, Asanka Ravindra, who was incredibly attentive to even the smallest details. His thoughtful and personalized service made our stay extremely comfortable, relaxing, and completely stress-free. Finally, a big shout-out to the housekeeping team, Ronal and Prebath, for their excellent work and attention to detail throughout our stay. We will be back next year.

En nuestro caso, la habitación era enorme y muy bien puesta y decorada con una terracita súper tranquila y con vistas preciosas. La zona decorada la piscina está muy bien, con una piscina enorme. El buffet del desayuno y la cena están muy bien y tienen mucha variedad. En nuestro caso, muy buena relación calidad precio. Repetiría sin dudarlo. Muy recomendable

De ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame staf; heel veel dank aan Megana, Chaminda, Navodya / Wasantha Bandasa, Melvin, Senarathna en Indika die ons verblijf onvergetelijk hebben gemaakt! Eten is goed, veel keuze. Voldoende bedjes bij het zwembad, er wordt op toegezien dat er niet de gehele dag handdoeken liggen om de bedden bezet te houden. Kamers zijn fantastisch en worden dagelijks schoon gemaakt. Bedden zijn van zeer goede kwaliteit. Locatie is zeer centraal ten opzichte van de bezienswaardigheden/ activiteiten. We zijn een nacht langer gebleven en willen zeker nog eens terugkomen. Je betaalt iets meer dan gemiddeld in Sri Lanka, maar het was het zeker waard.

Pour un hôtel de ce standing, la cabine de douche devrait être beaucoup plus propre... Les joints et le carrelage ne sont pas bien entrenus, peut être faudrait il utiliser des produits plus adaptés ? En tous cas, le reste de la chambre était super ! Pour le buffet, c'est beaucoup plus quantitatif que qualitatif et beaucoup de plats étaient trop salés, c'est dommage...

La piscine est très jolie

Les chambres sont trop vieilles. La porte de la salle de bain qui ne peut pas rester ouverte c’est pas pratique. La luminosité des luminaires dans la chambre étaient vraiment pas optimales. L’odeur des remontées d’eau très présente. Le buffet de l’hôtel était vraiment trop cher pour les prestations, la nourriture en général était pas incroyable.

Can’t thing about anything

The property is set on beautiful land, so many trees, a beautiful lake, wild animals and birds everywhere, its really incredible. It is close distance to all the main areas and attractions, easy to access. The rooms are big and spacious. Although a little outdated. The bathroom too, is big, but old and needs seom repairs. The swimming pool is massive and really nice, but the tiles where chipped and scratched us. The breakfast and dinner were great, so many options, we really enjoyed the food.

The buildings and facilities all needed serious maintenance, the staff (a lot of staff) were all a bit slow and unresponsive. Like when you ask for tea at breakfast, it could take a long time, if they even remembered.

Amazing location and massive grounds. Great for birdwatching. Pool adjoining the restaurant is large and good for laps. 

Special thanks to Champika our very attentive waiter. He always found us a great table and was very attentive.

The Cinnamon Lodge Habarana is the pinnacle of what a hotel can be. We appreciated in particular the friendly staff (in particular at the bar and at the organic farm and butterfly garden). This is a true treasure that we will definitely visit again. The garden and the lake are a true haven of peace and we can see that the hotel really respects the environment (for example, only glass bottles and no plastic). We hope to come back here soon!

Property gives a heritage jungle lodge feel. Nicely spread asking the river with lot of trees. Tree house near the river is great place to spend some leisure time. Nice pool. Very elaborate buffet dinner and breakfast Staff is very helpful We got a free upgrade 😊 Great value for money

The property is huge, lush green all around and service is great. There is a lot of space to walk around and the area near the lake is very serene.

I didn't like quite a few things - 1. Very aggressive monkeys outside our room, which made it impossible to sit or lounge outside 2. Dogs barking at night 3. Location was not great, its kindof secluded 4. Overall there is an isolated feeling because the rooms are far from each other, monkeys in the campus, people are mostly around the pool area only. Does not feel lively at all.

המלון ממוקם בתוך הטבע, בסביבת החדרים קופים ובעלי חיים. החדרים מרווחים ונעימים. צוות המלון אדיב מאוד ודואג לחווית האירוח של הלקוח. הגענו עם ילד בעל אלרגיה נדירה למזון, צוות המטבח וחדר האוכל דאג לכל צרכינו, היה קשוב ואיכפתי ואנו אסירי תודה על כך.

קופים לקחו לי את בגד הים שתליתי במרפסת, חבל שלא היתה אזהרה כתובה בחדר.

The grounds were amazing with a large pool and a cool running track around the property. The gardens and the lake made it special with cute seating and viewing areas all around. The staff were insanely helpful for any issue that arose. Monkeys come out each evening to play at around 5pm!

Pool area was just lovely. Got to chill by the pool as hornbills and monkeys played in the trees behind. Breakfast was also pretty impressive as weee the grounds - the resort is massive. Staff were pretty lovely - especially the reception staff.

The rooms are a bit dated especially the bathrooms. Can imagine it is a challenge to maintain such a large resort.

Our stay was amazing! The pool was the biggest we have seen in a while and the grounds were great - we saw a lovely sunset in a treehouse by the lake. Great location, right by the main road with restaurants, however the restaurants had a very traveller theme with similar menus, and we weren’t that impressed (so we recommend eating at the hotel instead). Our rooms were comfy and huge. It is a very family friendly hotel and we would definitely recommend - during our time in Sri lanka we went to 3 Cinnamon hotels and we were never disappointed. Ayesha cleaned our rooms one of days and was. amazing - she even made an elephant out of the towels and made our rooms spotless.

Bellissimo resort immerso nel parco nazionale di Mynneirya. Ottima base per fare Safari con elefanti e visitare Sygiria. Nel resort vivono tantissime scimmie e babbuini oltre vari uccelli, bellissimo per i bambini.

Potrebbero migliorare un po il servizio di ristorazione ma comunque andava bene per le nostre esigenze

A wonderful stay and an easy 9 out of 10 for us. The hospitality was exceptional. Every member of staff was kind, welcoming and genuinely eager to help, which made such a difference throughout our stay. The grounds are beautiful, the food was excellent and the whole place has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms have a lovely rustic feel, although the bathroom became very warm, the air conditioning struggled at times and the phone was unreliable. Those are minor complaints compared with the overall experience. It was the warmth of the people that made our stay so memorable. We would happily return.

Beautiful resort with so much variety. Beautiful swimming pool area. Spacious and clean rooms. Tennis court included and Bicycle renting available. Perfect location, 20 min drive to Lion's rock. We had a wonderful time with our teenagers.
