The staff was wonderful. Better than a 5stars hotel in Europe. The hotel has a lot of green places and lakes (not too much mosquitos). It is like sleeping in the nature, but with all the commodities and without the bugs bothering. Good food in the restaurant. Room very spacious, comfortable and clean. Wonderful pool to relax.

The location, it is a little bit away from the town, but in the other hand, more close to the nature. Some minor facilities need repair like the decoration on the pool.

The staff made us feel like family!! Incredible place to stay, can’t wait to come back!

Las instalaciones son espectaculares. Las habitaciones muy grandes y comodas. Ell personal de 10, muy muy amables. Tuvimos la suerte de que un elefante se acercase al hotel. La chica de la recepción vino corriendo a llamarnos a la habitación para que pudiésemos verle. El desayuno es alucinante, demasiado! Y la piscina muy bien también. El mejor hotel en el que nos hemos alojado en Sri Lanka.

La ducha tenia poca presión, pero entendemos que por donde se ubica el hotel no será fácil conseguirlo.

Stunning property in a beautiful and peaceful location just a short drive from Lions Rock. This hotel far exceeded our expectations - from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and the staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcomed. The rooms were HUGE!! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well maintained. The pool area was a lovely place to relax after a days sight seeing. We really enjoyed the tranquility. The food was delicious and plentiful with an excellent menu to choose from. Thank you for an incredible stay and giving my family fond memories of Sigiriya

It was a lovely quiet hotel with a beautiful atmosphere. The staff were amazing and were always on hand with a large smile for anything you could need.

If you are wanting to eat out in the evening you cannot walk to any local restaurants, but the hotel can easily organise a taxi/tuk tuk.

Excellent accueil, tout le personnel était aux petits soins, très disponible pour nous aider à organiser nos activités et excursions. La piscine est très belle, calme, agréable, et la chambre joliment décorée, spacieuse, lit confortable. Le restaurant coûte évidemment un peu plus cher que les restaurants locaux alentour mais était très bon notamment le rice and curry. Petit déjeuner très copieux, et de qualité (préférence pour le petit déjeuner sri lankais qui varie tous les jours). Les paons, autres oiseaux et écureuils gambadent dans le jardin, on se sent vraiment en pleine nature.

Salle de bain un petit peu défraîchie, baignoire spa longue à se remplir.

Sehr nettes Personal, super schöne Anlage, gutes Restaurant, sehr gutes Frühstück. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Es könnte hier und da etwas renoviert werden. Kann aber auch sein, dass es gerade passiert. Als wir da waren wurde die Reception neungestrichen. Der Wasserfall am Pool war leider auch defekt.

La habitación es muy grande y cómoda, son como apartamentos aislados alrededor de la recepción. Las camas son muy cómodas El personal es increíblemente amable y servicial, aunque es cierto que les falta quizás un poco de profesionalidad a los jóvenes pero son un encanto. El desayuno es super completo y las cenas que ofrece el hotel tambien están muy bien. La piscina grande y limpia.

Quizás la ubicación, pero porque no se puede llegar andando, aunque en furgoneta está cerca de todo.

Le restaurant et les cocktails sont chers. Plats trop salés. Obligés de prendre les repas à l’hôtel car on ne peut pas sortir le soir en raison des éléphants.

The menagerie and the staff were exslent. Every thing we asked they answered emidiet. The best service. We loved them.

The location. Very isolated. We didn't meet any gests. It felt uncomfortable. We needed a driver for any thing and every drive took 20 minutes and more.

Habitación cabaña muy amplia, bonita. Espacios amplios, pocas habitaciones, hotel acogedor.Tuvimos un pequeño problema con el jacuzzi de la habitación y nos cambiaron de habitación sin problemas.

Le faltarían mejorar pequeños detalles de mantenimiento en las habitaciones.

The location is a bit outside of the town so the property can feel a bit secluded from things.

Our stay in Seerock was 10/10! The rooms and setting of the hotel are beautiful, the staff are super friendly and caring and the food was incredible. Special mention to Malinda and Krishan who served us throughout our day making sure our food was okay and our bellies were full. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts! Five stars all round

We had a lovely one-night family stay at Seerock The King's Domain. A special thank you to Nimesh, who was very helpful with our booking, arranged a room that met our family's requirements, and took the time to check our child's meal requirements before dining. We would also like to thank Krishan and Gayan for their excellent service during dinner and breakfast. They were friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. The warm hospitality and helpful attitude of all team members made our family holiday even more memorable. Thank you for the excellent service.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are looking rather tired. They definitely need a shower upgrade and repaint. The hotel was extremely quiet which was disappointing. The staff were very efficient at meal times and the food was always delicious and well prepared. We were slightly disappointed that we wanted wine and despite a red, white and rose appearing in the menu, they didn't have any! The gate man was also very inefficient. Despite there only being two couples in the hotel, he scrutinised us every time we returned to the hotel like we were intruders, despite us being in the same car with the same driver. He was the most unwelcoming person we have met in our first week in Sri Lanka. As a first point of call to a hotel, he was unwelcoming.

Great location for Sigiriya rock and Minneriya National Park. Breakfast was great and the dinner menu`s were quite substantial. It is at the edge of the forest so not many restaurants nearby. This property has only cottages which are large and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Quite expensive considering it was lean season. We were the only guests the entire time...3 nights.

It’s not your usual manicured places… but this places grows into you in one day …clean spacious room, the quiet place… staff pretty girl Nikini and Charming Gayan is to look out for always.. the manager is great guy too ., gentle and helpful. The best feature is the ayurvedic massage ..100/10 .. therapist Trisha .. i regretted the moment i went to a spa out in the town … Food needs an upgrade though. The cut fruits are good Loved the laid back frog croaking sounds at night … I was alone but I felt secure in the place .. I highly recommend for those who likes to be in rustic nature with good people , a large clean and comfy room stay .. good for kids to be in nature.. one room is enough for a biggg family .. will come back soon

Nimesh and the staff here were absolutely wonderful. They catered to our every need and looked after us extremely well. Rooms are great and the atmosphere here is very serene. Everything is neat and very clean. The staff were especially helpful with managing our late meals as we were often out. Despite that being the case, Nimesh always made sure we were well fed and taken care of. We can’t recommend them enough.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming and welcomed us with their signature syambala/ tamarind drink which was really tasty. I’ve had syambala but never had a drink and the drink was executed so well, natural and sweet but not too sweet. The place is very quiet and calm and a good place to visit if someone likes the calm and quiet nature. The room are spacious and big and I think all the rooms have a jacuzzi, and the jacuzzi is huge and can fit 2 adults for a spacious relaxing time and fit 3 adults and even a child for a fun family time. They also provide complimentary ginger cookies, tea and so on in the room. The room also has a net that we can put incase there’s mosquitos but there were very less mosquitos as we made sure to keep the doors closed so we don’t use the net. They ALs have a small pool a bit more isolated form the rest of the hotel which again makes it calm and peaceful. The hotel also had a buffet for us and there was a combination of mostly Sri Lankan food as well as a few western foods. Overall, the food was good. The buffet was in the queens pavilion and we could slightly also see the pidurangala rock. A staff member that out stood the others was Nimesh, the operations manager. He was with our group the whole time looking out for us and ensuring our time at the hotel was good. But ofc there were more friendly staff but I was unable to get their names. Overall the stay was peaceful and relaxing.

Attentive and kind staff and the cozy ambience of the place. The room is far superior and prettier than the photos. The chalet design of the rooms and the jacuzzi were the highlights. The hotel is very beautiful overall. Everything was clean despite the jungle type location. The staff weren't overpowering - just available in the right way.

Not related to the hotel but the area is not in the city side which restricts you from being out too late at night due to elephant scares. The food tastes good and had a decent range - but it could improve significantly as someone who is vegetarian may not have many options. The staff did their best to accommodate all requests.

Check the room facilities before checking guests in, the show was not working in our room and we needed to change. Check crockery before serving, we given a cracked and chipped glass.

We had the most amazing stay @seerockthekingsdomain. Surrounded by Sri Lankan wildlife and nature, our family of 20 enjoyed every second of it. The good food and excellent service made it all come together.

The staff went above and beyond, the food was amongst the best cuisine we’ve ever had, the rooms were gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Fantastic experience. So friendly and helpful. We had the bonus of seeing elephants at breakfast on our last day.

-The water to fill up the jacuzzi was super slow. By the time it fills up midway the water has cooled off. -Breakfast wasnt exciting -The outdoor pool was so dirty, impossible to use. Yet we were charge a crazy price for it.

We stayed two night during our honeymoon and they made sure to make it super special! The food and the service were exceptional. I would love to comeback!

De mensen die er werken zijn ontzettend vriendelijk. Het landgoed wordt mooi bijgehouden en ligt lekker rustig. De huisjes zijn erg mooi en de bedden liggen waanzinnig lekker. Ze hebben er lekkere wijn in het restaurant.

Het bubbelbad functioneerde niet, maar kan vast worden gerepareerd. De fontein in het zwembad staat uit, die moet waarschijnlijk gemaakt worden.

Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig, toller Sonnenuntergang von der Terrasse aus! Beim Duschen gab es ein An-und Abschwellen des Wasserstrahls, was das Einstellen der Temperatur erschwerte, die Bettwäsche war schon etwas löchrig und überhaupt hätte das Zimmer dringenden Renovierungsbedarf - dies hat uns aber auf unserer ganzen Sri Lanka Rundreise begleitet - irgendwie ein bisschen in der Kolonialzeit hängen geblieben, was auch durchaus seinen Reiz hat, aber deshalb kann man auch nicht „alles“ verkommen lassen!? De offene Speisesaal im Obergeschoss des Haupthauses hat durchwegs seinen Charme - leider spielt hier aber das Personal nicht so mit! Beim Einchecken wird man fast gedrängt sich zu entscheiden, ob und was man zum Abendessen will, damit es dann reibungsloser (wegen dem hohen Andrang) abläuft, beim Abendessen selber sind wir dann aber richtiggehend abgefertigt worden - wir hatten noch nicht einmal die Vorspeise beendet, da kamen auch schon die Hauptspeisen!!! Es gab beim Pool insgesamt 6 Liegen (sehr wacklig), aber nur zwei Auflagen - da passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider gar nicht!

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Seerock The King’s Domain during our trip to Dambulla. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. The rooms were incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We chose the room with the jacuzzi, and it truly made our stay extra special and relaxing. It added such a lovely touch to the whole experience. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding — everyone was so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Nimesh for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The food was another highlight! There was a great variety to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. On the first night, we enjoyed roasted chicken with rice and vegetables, and on the second night, we had a crispy fish fillet with vegetables — both dishes were excellent. Breakfast options were also wonderful, with both English and Sri Lankan style breakfasts available. The hotel grounds are extra spacious and peaceful, truly giving that “home away from home” feeling. We also loved the fun activities available, especially bicycling around the property — it was such a great experience! The pool was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing dip. Overall, we would give this place a 10/10 for its exceptional service, comfort, and overall experience. We highly recommend Seerock The King’s Domain to anyone visiting Dambulla and would absolutely love to return!

The room was amazingly modern but with a colonial feel with the high ceiling Staff very helpful and accommodating with our request and transport arrangements. Considering it’s surrounded by nature reserve we were surprised that there was hardly no mosquitoes and flies other than the odd ant fly. The place is continuously kept clean.

Excellent location and 15 mins in a tuk tuk to sigiriya rock. Delicious food in the restaurant, all fresh and a lot of food! We’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean stay near sigiriya rock.

Such a stunning appointed property with pool, gardens, child's tree swing, pond, open area bar/lounge, dining and spacious rooms. Very caring of childrens needs and little games here and there much appreciated. Exceptional service. Half board recommended to experience the chefs dinner and breakfast menus. We have been twice now with friends and family groups. Highly recommend and so thankful to have found this gem in Sigiriya.
