Breakfast was ok. Fairly basic. Would be nice to have a choice of eggs. One morning there were no eggs at all!!

Bit annoyed that we had to pay extra for parking although apparently it was in the very small print. No food available on Sunday evening except pizza as chef hadn’t turned up. Members of staff said there were places to eat in the shopping centre. Subway and KFC aren’t what we class as restaurants for an evening meal!! Ended up having to go to the old town where we had only just come from. Could do with some drawers or shelves in the bedrooms.

The hotel is good value, and I have stayed there before. The food in general is good, but in the evening I had a Thai Green Curry and it came with the usual rice, but also a naan bread which completely messed with my taste buds.

Good location, close to Ferry Harbour. Ten minute journey. Quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. All staff went the extra mile to cater for disability issues. Room clean & easily accessible.

Has a restaurant, but upon arrival informed that the Chef was ill, so no food other than a choice of 3 types of pizza. Nowhere local to find an eatery, so that was your only chance to get some hot food. Pity, would have been a lovely stay otherwise.

The express brand of Holiday inn always seems to disappoint, One gets the impression that the service and facilities are 'dumbed' down to the lowest denominator and is for the convenience of the staff (very few !) rather than the customer. Ok for a short one night stay .

The Holiday Inn was very clean, and staff were lovely. I think these places are ideal for travelling for stop gaps for pleasure or business.

The only thing we had was my dad steak pie, the crusty was very hard. Otherwise it was all excellent.

Breakfast options were limited in comparison and food was cold. Bacon was over done and cold to eat. Bed linen was awful felt unsoft and like was laying in the plastic that comes with such bedding as thought it had not been taken off. The sofa bed for the kids looked unsafe with metal bits all sticking out. Wooden table beside bed was also broken and had sharp edges. Room was just too small and not worth the price we paid. Cleanliness was good as maids cleaned room nicely and made the beds well.

The top floor room with air conditioning was a good size with tv & free wifi to get work done. Large comfortable bed with extra pillows if needed. Limited menu in a basic restaurant but the food was good although perhaps a little expensive as were the drink prices. Self serve breakfast was excellent.

The Holiday Inn was awkward to drive to from any direction. Road works in the town did not help. There are no hotel direction signs in Poole. (just a couple of discrete signs would have helped).

Location close to Harbour only 10 minute walk. Also, close to train station.

View from room could have been better. We look out onto corrugated plastic sheets.

The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Whenever we reported a problem, they fixed it quickly. Good location for a short stay.

The room was quite small for four people. Even though we booked for a family, it wasn't prepared for four guests when we arrived. We had to call reception to have the second bed made up for the children. Also, the sink was blocked, but the staff unblocked it after we called them. They should pay more attention to prep for families.

There is a railway about 50 feet from the back of the hotel where we were, nothing in the blurb about that. Old double glazing failed to keep very noisy train noise out at night. TV didnt work, had to request a new aerial cable, bed side light didnt work, broken switch had to request another one. Room looked tired and dated, peeling corners on wallpaper, one wall had been re-emulsioned but the edges not cut in. Room had air con but fan was so rattley we couldnt have it on at night. Faulty Sink plug didnt hold water, had to have tap running to wash. Does no one check that the basic facilities in a room actually work? Scrambled egg at Breakfast was dissapointing, , looked and tasted like reconstituted egg, horrible, I'm vegetrarian so ended up with Beans on Toast for Breakfast! Very Dissapointed given we paid a total of £495 for 3 nights.

We went a family of four: two beds with 3 pillows, 3 towels, room and corridors smelled bad and was dirty. No air circulation and very non enjoyable place. Nor even their price of the dinner vs quality. So we ate elsewhere.

The best thing about this hotel was the comfort of the bed. I have not had a better night's sleep in a hotel anywhere for a long time, so comfortable and the room temperature was excellent. Just what was needed when I was so tired. Pleasant staff and a decent breakfast too.

Very small gripe was the location, which was tricky to get to without a car but manageable nonetheless.

Simple, well euipped basic room at a decent price in a good location for the town centre and the harbour.

The beds were uncomfortable but this is very much a personal choice.

Next to bus station. Food excellent. Quiet. Helpful staff.

This is the best Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in... Rooms very clean and bed super comfortable... All staff very friendly and helpful... Breakfast and dinner food delicious, plenty of it and the whole package extremely good value. Easy to book through the IHG site... Everything excellent!

What has pulled our score down was the fact that on arrival on Sunday our room had been given away? Granted we arrived very late but we had booked and paid for the room 10 days earlier. It took 30minutes to make up a staff? bedroom..which was lovely and the guy was hugely apologetic BUT it was deeply frustrating at 11pm. Paying for the parking was also rather annoying too

Cogimos una habitación marcada como cuádruple para toda la familia, pero el sofá cama para los niños era algo estrecho.

The location is great - easy to get to by car and to visit various destinations. Car parking is good also and you can normally charge your car in the selected bays. The breakfast is excellent - good selection and the quality was great. The rooms are very spacious as is the ensuite and the bed was very comfortable.

Il parcheggio è a pagamento e si paga a parte (10 sterline perr 24 ore), ma non è stato male perché abbiamo potuto lasciare l'auto lì anche dopo il check out. La posizione non è un granché, ma in pochi minuti si raggiunge il centro di Poole con la sua zona pedonale e il lungomare.

This hotel has seen better days, shower leaking, air conditioning unit dripping and mouldy bathroom sealant. Not what I'd expect from this hotel group and very expensive.

I have been more than three times, every year with my family. And this year I will return again. Again with my family.

For us everything was perfect

Main reason for booking this hotel was that there are 6 electric Charing bays. As we drove over 2 hours to get to the hotel, it was disappointing to be told the chargers were not available and that we needed to go elsewhere to charge. With hardly an apology or a warm welcome, this was not a great start to a holiday that we had planned and looked forward to for a long time. I checked their website that still proudly advertised the electric charging bays with no mention they were not working. False advertising? Rest of stay was average and so was breakfast with dodge scrabbled eggs. At least the staff at breakfast looked like they wanted to be there and were friendly and attentive.

Value for money, no frills accommodation.

Breakfast was amazing! They had some options for my gluten intolerant child! The twin room was way too cramped up not big enough for a family of 4 and the sofa bed was lobside and uncomfortable because of this massive tilt. Otherwise the regular bed was comfortable.

I didn’t like the cramped up space and the fact that there was only 1 plug sucker by the bed side tables. My booking included dinner but I think this is a big mistake all the food in that menu was straight from ready made and felt like eating cardboard boxes especially the burgers, I had to order kfc for the kids!

Friendly staff, clean & fresh decor, easy to navigate around, decent breakfast included. Air con in rooms was great - it was 30c+ while we were there! TV and basic bathroom products good. Free refillable water station downstairs.

We had some issues with the tele in the room which they struggled to sort out. The company have since reimbursed us for this. Communication post stay was a struggle. Parking is expensive and would be great if it could be included in the booking price.

For a hotel that's classed as budget it is amazing, they think about every detail, rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, Staff are friendly and willing to do anything.

The staff was very pleasant and professional. I got the double bed room as requested- thank you for that! The room was very pleasant, spacious and with all bits and bobs that one might need, like an iron and an ironing board! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Shame I couldn't stay longer!

Everything was fine. The only thing I would mention is that the air conditioning was a bit loud/rattly during the night. I am not sure if it is a 'feature' of the model or maybe something technical to look into, I will leave that to you to explore.

The addition charge to park on site meaning first come first serve and meant couldnt risk leaving site incase you lost your spot otherwise a charge for a parking spot that you may not get back

The Bin in the room was still full on our arrival, which was quickly dealt with once reported. The meal we ordered in the evening was not very nice at all so had to send it back and we changed our option. The second meal could have been better.

Perfect for our one night of madness at the Poole Harbour festival. There was no parking when we arrived, but the kind and efficient staff soon sorted that out for us. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The catering staff were first class and our evening snack and breakfast were great. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express if you are in Poole.
