The TV went out several times and the power went out when perfectly sunny outside. The evening staff was inconsiderate. When coming in from a raging storm he was blocking the entrance and said nice weather huh. We were carrying in our dinner and were soaked!

The location was in a good spot , very clean , very friendly staff and great price!

Perfect location. Close to the beach, shopping and everything we were needing. Very comfortable. Clean and all necessities were met. Very relaxing for us after a stressful trip elsewhere. Just what we needed.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early July. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Lots of counter space by the sink for toiletries. Soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers. We walked to Jacksonville Beach the first day, in the afternoon, it takes 20 minutes to walk there. The next day we drove. There are paid parking lots near the beach. Many restaurants in the area.

We were sitting on the outside these peoples had a dog in the eating area he’s walking around licking on everything I feel dogs don’t need to go near where people have to eat

Staff was courteous. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. While all motel breakfasts are similar, this was one of, if not the best I've had, with real ham. It was very good. You usually get a very greasy, so so sausage or extremely thin bacon. They will both do, but the ham set it over the top.

The parking was doable, but quite tight. On a separate note, having nothing to do with this facility, but with my booking experience, I was beyond frustrated. This booking was for an appointment at Mayo. I'd previously stayed at Holliday Inn Express SE- Medical. It costs a little more, I'm assuming because of demand and proximity to the hospital. I looked at it late one night in early June, and the price was what it always had been. I decided to wait and book the next morning. The price went up $63 overnight. I went ahead and booked. It bothered me, but I did it anyway. I checked a day or so later and it had come down $34. I kept watching the price and it was all over the place from day to day. After a couple weeks I decided to book at the one closer to the beach and cancel my previous reservation. It was MUCH cheaper and a little further away, but not bad. On the day before my reservation, I got a text asking me to pre-check in. I didn't pay much attention to it. I didn't do it. The day of my reservation, I got another text asking me to complete my check in. I looked a little closer and it was in reference to Holliday Inn SE- Medical, which I'd canceled from, and had a cancelation confirmation email. I got back on Booking to see if I could figure anything out, and to get the address for that location to call that Holliday Inn Express. I then saw the price had dropped back to five dollars over the "regular" price, which frustrated me. Also, when I called the facility, I pretty quickly realized I was taking to an AI which identified "herself" as Gloria. Kind of creepy. It gave me a number to customer service. I called it and talked to another AI. I can't remember "his" name right now. Best I can tell, it's worked itself out, but caused me some frustration.

We had the best stay. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. It was the perfect location and just a short drive to the beach or many amazing restaurants. Staff were always very friendly and spoke as we came and went. 10/10 recommend!

I want to give recognition to Noah. He works at night. He was amazing. Helped me so much. My phone died the first day I got to Florida. I had to attend my nephews retirement ceremony in Mayport. Noah gave me directions and printed them for me. Such a life saver.

I booked a hotel room, checked in, tried to cancel 2 hours after purchase on your realize I was out 225 dollars. I will never check into this hotel even if it's the cheapest I will find something else. I don't care about anything else besides the principal. An hour after a certain time I'm not eligible for my refund I learned my lesson and realized money is not as important as common decency.

Perfect location

I had a terrible first impression when I checked in and met Noah, the PM front desk associate. He was rude and unprofessional during the check-in process. I informed him that the reservation had already been paid for, but he proceeded to charge me a second time. Throughout the interaction, he continued reading his Tom Clancy book and ignored my questions. Fortunately, I met Carmen and Kim the following day. They promptly addressed the issue and ensured that the duplicate charge was refunded. One suggestion: Noah would benefit from additional customer service training to improve guest interactions and professionalism.

Not sure what it was on Saturday night but I felt like I was in a dance club. Lots of heavy bass. There were no noticeable clubs outside the hotel so it must have came from a room

I canceled my reservation 2 days in advance, which I had been told I could do. They refused to accept my cancelation, so I paid $169 for a room I didn't stay in ( and which they re-rented to someone else. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Loved the coffee machines! Wish the pool was in a different location. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Liked having the shampoo, conditioner and body wash on the wall, but the print was too small to tell them apart easily. 😊

The stay was great. The rooms were nice and clean.

The idea of having the toiletries locked in the shower and at the sink but nothing by the tub. The complimentary gift could've been better. Water and a small bag of pretzels ☹️ Never had to pay at check in. The gentleman that was there never addressed me. Never said one word to us from checkin or each time we entered the lobby while he was there. Always looking at his computer screen.

There was also no ironing board in the room. And the ice bucket had two USED tea bags still inside of it. There was also no complimentary waters, welcome packets or Togo bags.

Booked two beds, but recieved one bed. Was told by staff that there is no guaranteed selection when booking through "booking.com" and that i get whatever room i get. This was difficult, i am a father and a retired disabled vet who was with my adult daughter. I had to request a rolling hospital type looking twin bed to sleep on and it was uncomfortable and got im the way of using the desk im the room. We had to do eveything in the bed.

It is exactly as described. Very pleasant stay.

Can’t state anything negative about this hotel. Not ritzy and not shabby. Just an excellent standard hotel that’s perfect for the my traveling needs.
