Clean and the beds slept good
I didn’t have any dislike
It’s a good value location
Under renovation meant roof top not available.
Cleanliness ,very nice staff, the location was near Broadway just a few minutes walking distance
The property charged for parking $48 dollars when a hotel should have free parking if are already paying to stay there I think it’s just an extra charge that we shouldn’t pay.
Room was nice and coean
Under construction and you had to valet your car for 48.00 even if it was for only 12 hours when you could park it yourself. It was hidden on the web site you had to read between the lines that's where they get you. I even called booking .com to get help and they refused to pay for my valet was very upset
Helpful staff
Very noisy.. could of been cleaner.
Everything. Great location, clean rooms and helpful staff
The location.
Very outdated. Needs some major updating. My outlets didn’t work in the bathroom and that was frustrating.
The staff was very nice. The location is relatively close to the nightlife attractions on Broadway . The room was very big .
The hotel is old and everything in it seems to have known better days. The room smelled bad and you could not open the windows even a little bit for some fresh air. The food was horrible
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel’s location was very convenient. It is close to popular attractions like Broadway and Music Row, which made getting around easy.
The reason I gave it an average rating is because the valet parking was expensive and took a long time. Unfortunately, there was no alternative parking option available, which made the experience less convenient. Unfortunately, the parking situation took away from the experience. Finding the valet entrance when we arrived was confusing, and there was only one valet attendant working. More than six guests were waiting for their cars, all with luggage, which caused a long delay. I also felt that the valet parking fee was not reasonable, especially since there was no alternative parking option.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was close to everything we wanted to do.
Our room was clean and comfortable but was quite warm. There was no vent in the bathroom or living room and the one vent in the bedroom kept getting blocked by the curtains. So the temp was uncomfortable.
Nothing
Everything. Upon checking in the hotel smelled of marijuana. I immediately notified the front desk and left and got a new hotel room else where.
Great location and convenient 👏 shopping
No problems 😊
The room was great. The bathroom was huge and the shower was good.
The bathroom was thin and you could hear everyone in the bathroom. The parking was awful. Its only valet and one person working for the whole hotel. Go downstairs early
The room had an excellent view
The hotel was a bit warm through the hotel.
The location was ideal. 5 mins from downtown
The air condoning was very noisy.
The rooms were big clean and nice with a great view
It smelled like urine someone peed on the carpet.
The smell and the noise being put in a room on the 2nd floor on the street. The room is dark and depressing!
The staff was nice
The building was challenging. The ramp one had to use with a luggage cart was painted with something that made it dangerous in a light rain. No help was offered. The parking was very expensive. And my room had no hot water
Location was great
Todo
Nada
The hotel was amazing great hospitality and scenery. Smelled fresh very relaxing
The staff was very warm and inviting and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed.
The elevator was very slow.
TJ was very friendly and had a great smile.
The staff was really good and I lived that the water was always provided. The choice for breakfast was great and prices were very reasonable.
There was a big bug that was climbing up the wall in our room. The room was clean however and we were able to get the bug and dispose of it.
Nothing
The picture frame fell off of the wall in the entry way of our room because it was secured firmly. Luckily we were not standing near it but it did scare the heck out of us. Further, it delayed our plans for dinner because we had to wait for maintenance to put it back up on the wall. Further, I was charged for 2 nights of valet parking on 2 different cards even though the receptionist told me that it wouldn't happen if I used a different card to check out for valet parking. I did not realize this until I received 2 different invoices via email from the hotel. Last, calling the front desk is a hassle because they are busy helping people standing there in line. Overall, I did not like the inconvenience and follow-up on my behalf. I don't want to pay to do all the work for Aloft.
The location was perfect for my needs.
The sheets on my bed were not as fresh as I would have expected. They smelled like someone's cheap cologne. Then there was the saga of my lost car. The young man who parked it when I arrived left the key fob in the console and the young man on duty when I came back down three hours later and needed my car couldn't find key or car. The manager was called in and everyone was very nice, but I was late for my meeting. The car was finally found and all was well, just very frustrating. It was CMA weekend to boot and I am not a country music fan. NO fault of the hotel's, but the rates were higher because of all that nonsense.
I like the amenities that were included and the location.
The front desk staff were rude. You walk by and say Good Morning they just look at you and don’t speak.
The staff was very friendly and helpful
It was alittle further from downtown than I thought
Everything.
That we did not have the option to park the vehicle ourselves. Daily $45 mandatory fee for valet was not planned ahead of time.
Joel front desk was very kind and welcoming. The valet was also very helpful . Cylus . Southern hospitality.
Location
Only two beds and a shower. No refrigerator or closets, very basic. A little expensive.
Valle parking is $48 a night. No other options.
Location
Needed to be updated. Our room had empty bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Very Fun stay reminds me of the Moxy but the valet stood out the most! The only other time I’ve ever experienced valet service that great was at the Gaylord. He helped with my bags opened my door, loaded my car & closed my door. He asked about my stay and wished us safe travels! So if you’re seeing this Zain H Thank you for genuinely making my morning!
Bed was super comfortable and we had a very large room!
The valet service was a little pricey.
Had a wonderful stay at this location. In particular with some vehicle trouble Zain H at the valet was a fantastic help. I cannot begin to articulate how happy I was to be able to find my keys once lost. Truly saved multiple trips to multiple locksmiths to get into my house, my car, my job, etc. literally saved me hundreds of dollars. The view was great and the donut shop across the street was amazing.
My sister was in the hospital at Vanderbilt for 2 weeks, which required me to have multiple stays in Nashville. I stayed at Aloft each time because the location was perfect, the staff was kind, the valet was prompt/friendly (Zain H.), and the hotel was very flexible to my schedule changes.
Valet was extremely nice and did very well, Zain H was helpful and fun to talk to. The front desk was extremely nice and sweet. My only issue is the lack of Foam pillows, feather pillows have no support.
Our stay at the Aloft was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. Our valet guy Zain H was outstanding! Very friendly, knowledgeable great personality.
We stayed here because friends had booked at this hotel. After reading the reviews, we were very uncertain about staying, but decided to book anyway because of our friends. Unfortunately, believe the reviews. The rooms had a very strong moldy smell, and it was evident there may be mold issues. The room was not clean. I pulled out the desk chair and found an entire sugar packet spilled on the seat from a previous guest. The chair itself was disgustingly dirty. My husband used the bathroom, and his shoes were literally sticking to the floor. We ended up getting extra towels just to lay on the bathroom floor while getting ready in the morning because it felt so gross. The staff was nice, which is the only positive thing I can say, but based on our experience, I would recommend staying somewhere else.
Courtney checked us in and gave us some great recommendations, super friendly and star of the show.
It is loud, doors could do with something as they have large gaps all around letting in light and sound. Location of hotel is on a busy road, so expect car noise throughout the night. Rooms are fine, little dated and wear and tear. But are fine for the price. AC was so loud, had to turn it off, so either bring earplugs or sleep in heat. Parking is expensive, look at a local lot for cheaper options
Pool table
Breakfast/ lack of hot water
The staff at this hotel were very kind and welcoming. As a platinum member they gave me a very cute welcome gift. Zain H at the valet stand was very professional, timely, and helped with the bags into the car. Truly appreciate my experience overall. The only issue I had was that the WiFi was not great for the work I needed to do but that’s not really that big of a deal because I have a hotspot. I would stay again!
On this review, I want to specifically acknowledge the outstanding service given by Zane, in the valet service. Clean cut, great smile and efficient in his service! Interestingly enough, the valet is the first impression when you arrive at a hotel. Thanks Zane!
Large room--lots of space for us and our 2 pups. Several restaurants within walking distance so we didn't have to retrieve the car for our one night stay. Staff very friendly.
Worn out all over. 2 inch gap under the door could hear everything in the hall way.
Worn out
Location, room was lovely
Big rooms
Expensive parking
The temperature in the room was very stuffy and warm no matter how low the thermostat was.
The location was nice and they valet your car. The rooms were very spacious and clean!
This wasn't something that was too bad, but wish the lightning in the room was brighter.
The room was spacious and beautiful. We loved the location to everything. We also enjoyed the pool table.
There could have been more towels, trash cans and the hot water took FOREVER to heat up.
If you are looking for a hotel that puts you in the heart of the action with a team that actually cares, the Aloft Nashville hits those notes perfectly. While the "software" of the hotel, the people and the placement, is great, the "hardware" definitely needs a tune-up. The Highlights: Staff & Location The real reason to stay here is the exceptional staff. From the front desk to the bartenders, everyone was incredibly friendly and eager to help. They bring a warm, welcoming energy that makes a big difference in the overall atmosphere. Furthermore, the location is hard to beat. It is situated in a fantastic area just one mile from the neon lights of Broadway, making it easy to access the city's best attractions while remaining just far enough away to escape the constant roar of the crowds. The Room Experience While the service shines, the building itself is showing its age with a severely outdated design. Sleep quality can be a challenge due to the combination of a very hard mattress, flat pillows, and a flashing smoke detector that flashes brightly throughout the night. Additionally, the hallway light leaks significantly around the door, making it difficult to keep the room dark. The bathroom design is also a bit of a hurdle; the lack of a shower door leads to water getting everywhere, and the slatted doors offer very little privacy. Facilities & Maintenance The hotel’s infrastructure could use some attention, particularly the elevators, which felt shaky and had non-functioning button lights. If you are traveling for business, be aware that the conference rooms struggled with temperature control and AV connectivity, which led to significant delays for our group. The gym is basic, notably lacking exercise bikes, and the TV isn't positioned well for those on the treadmills. On the plus side, because the elevators do not require a key card for floor access, food delivery services can bring your order directly to your room door. Final Verdict Go for the people, stay for the location. The Aloft Nashville is a solid choice if you want a friendly home base near Broadway. However, if you are a light sleeper or require a high-functioning "smart" room for a business trip, the outdated amenities and maintenance quirks might be a bit frustrating.
Really cool place.
Parking
Very spacious rooms very clean! The staff was very friendly.
The parking was valet only. They wouldn’t let you park yourself so you had to pay and extra 44.00 to park. I had forgotten my shoes in my car and I couldn’t go get them and they only had one valet worker working and he was covered up so he couldn’t get them either.
Stayed at the Aloft Nashville West End for a weekend trip, and this hotel is definitely not for everyone especially if you’re hoping for a quiet Friday or Saturday night. My first room was right by the elevator, and I barely slept. The hallway turned into a hangout spot for loud, inconsiderate groups well into the night. I called the front desk, but nothing changed, so I actually packed up and left in the middle of the night. The one bright spot was the young man working the weekend overnight shift. I didn’t catch his name, but he went out of his way to move me to a quieter, emptier part of the hotel. That gesture alone kept this place from being a one‑star experience. As for the hotel itself, it’s your typical Aloft vibe minimalistic, modern, and geared toward a younger crowd. The lobby has a pool table, a bar, and bold décor. It’s not a cozy or homey property, but the rooms were decent. The bed was comfortable, Wi‑Fi was hit‑or‑miss, and the showers don’t have curtains, which may bother some travelers. Location-wise, it’s fine if you’re planning to explore Nashville, but don’t expect true walkability. Most attractions will require a rideshare. Overall, the staff was helpful when it mattered, but if you value guaranteed comfort and quiet, you may want to compare other options or at least request a high floor away from the elevators. This hotel can work, but only with the right room and the right expectations.
Very nice hotel!
No restaurant! Bad! No coffee! Terrible.
It was very clean , I love the lobby and also the location
All it was lovely
