We unexpectedly got a room with a balcony! Was a lovely surprise.

We didn’t see how to open the door to our building so we struggled a little, but that’s half our fault

The room wasn’t great, we didn’t even get to use some of the furniture because it was already broken I we didn’t want them to say we broke them because they do take £100 deposit from us, which is meant to be refunded back after 7 days of checking out. Is been 13 days I still haven’t received any refund when I called they don’t even intend to help

The kitchen was so bad u would not want to use the microwave is so bad. Not even a single spoon in the kitchen

Good value for money

Noise lots of comings and goings late at night people talking loudly doors banging etc. Plus not enough pillows and furniture a little shabby shower was q little temperamental fluctuating between hot and cold.

The location is good, the staff are very good and always ready to help..

Quality of beds, property condition are poor.

Room dirty and squalid. Also we were kept awake all night by the noisy gates on the basement car park opening and closing until after 2am! My advice - don't stay here - pay a bit extra and stay at the Premier Inn nearby.

My dad was sitting at reception waiting for us and one of rude staff ask him to vacant the area and sit in room.. some rooms were smelly..

No airflow in the bathroom, floor got flooded quickly. The radiator fell off the wall. We requested more pillows and they took nearly an hour to come by because they didn’t have any, and didn’t think to tell us. We had to seek out where the staff went to find out. Charged us with a security deposit fee that I was not informed of. They put us on the spot, and told us the money wouldn’t leave my account. It did. Upon requesting the money back when checking out, they said they couldn’t necessarily provide proof that we would see that money again, and told us it would take one working MONTH to get back. I am poor, and I cannot go without this money. The staff were rude, and absentminded. We were rudely awoken by staff doing construction outside our door at 8am. When tidying our room when we left, they dumped all our belongings on one bed. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, and just plain terrible. There was black mould, paint peeling, broken drawers, mismatched furniture, etc. We were not allowed breakfast. This was £152 and a waste of my money.

It was ok, nothing special.

Price for room was high considering conditions and our room had a plumbing issue so the toilet stank the whole night we were there!!

The Cranbrook Hotel was amazing. The location was excellent, the facilities were very good, and the parking was convenient. The staff were friendly and had good communication. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. I will definitely come back next time

The hotel doors were very noisy. My room was near the main entrance, and whenever other guests went to their rooms, the doors made a loud noise when closing. This disturbed my family while we were sleeping. The doors should be fitted with a soft-close mechanism or adjusted so they close more quietly.

I didn’t like the property. What was the point taking a £50 caution fee or deposit? There are no lifts, I had a big luggage and I had to drag lift them through the staircase. Was not a pleasant experience.

I didn’t like everything about the property. No lift, causing me to develop back pain that was already hearing, as I had to drag lift my bags.

J’ai l’habite de venir dans cet hôtel mais cette fois les lits n’étaient pas confortables.

Easy to find and free parking. Very easy walk to subway station and a simple journey straight to central London. Clean with friendly staff.

We were unaware that it wasn’t just one building and were led through the hotel and a car park and across the road. We were in an upper flat with no lift, however our room had a balcony and was lovely and quiet so no complaints with that

Great location Ilford station was only a short walk away as was the nearest bus stop. The room was a great size The bed was extremely comfortable Free parking was much appreciated

It's very near to the Town Centre where there are loads of shops . The staff are all very friendly. Also it is very reasonably priced .

The only problem is when You are in anex & the lift is out of order .

We expected the room with fridge and microwave with toaster because they do not give breakfast including in the room but the staff was nice to letting us put our things in fridge. Also the room was too hot at night and day time it was very uncomfortable when trying to sleep in the Hotel night time They do try their best to please customers but I respected them for that. I would stay again in future

The Staff are friendly. The Room is cleaning.

-No lift for those who staying in the first or second floor. -The Furniture and equipment are not modern.

We like the proximity of this hotel to various amenities in Ilford. Free on-site parking is great and the staff are helpful. We stayed in a quadruple room which was clean and daily cleaning was spotless.

The twin beds are not as sturdy as the double bed. Due to the recent hot weather we had to keep the top windows open and the traffic noise was unmissable. Also the opening and closing of the car park gate woke me up every time, perhaps it needs servicing? The shower room must have a vertical blind as it just has a net curtain and you can be seen from the property opposite at night!

It was my 4th stay. Location , cleaning staff all are really good.

This time I don’t have microwave and in the other room we don’t have fridge , that’s I want them to improve

Shame they're not still doing breakfast

Room smelt stale, bathroom smelt stale, carpet in the room looked like it had been there for over a decade without being washed. Bathroom was not it, looked like a makeshift bathroom.
