The Westin Washington National Harbor

The room had an amazing view of the marina and Ferris wheel. Clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome.

I wish it had a pool. It would have been nice to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Food was not quality and was nor good. The room had an odor!!

The customer service guy denied looking thoroughly for my reservation, I had to stay some place else.

When we first got to the hotel the room we had we bad part of the floor was wet the bed was damp. We had to switch room. They only compensate us with a breakfast for 40 dollar.

The staff instead of resolving my complaint about overcharging me provoked me into a shouting match and then called the police on me instead of resolving my complaint. I will consider taking legal action against them because they essentially stole about 500 dollars from me.

I stayed at Westin National Harbor the past several days & LOVED IT! Super nice & super clean. And such a great location overlooking the National Harbor with lots of entertainment, shopping, & food choices. And a Cinnabon next door … WHAT?!?!?! Highly recommend!

I liked the rooms and location although my mother-in-laws room smelled like a dog.

I would not stay at the Westin National Harbor again. The hotel now charges a mandatory $25 per room “destination fee” that was not clearly disclosed beforehand. While they say you can use it as a credit at the hotel bar or restaurant, the catch is that it must be used on the day you check in. If you arrive late or already have dinner plans outside the hotel—as many travelers do—that credit becomes essentially worthless. In my case, I had two rooms, so I ended up paying an extra $50 for a benefit I couldn’t use. It felt more like a hidden fee than a value-added amenity. Hotels should be transparent about these charges and provide a more reasonable timeframe for guests to use any credits they’re forced to pay for. Very disappointing experience, and it’s enough reason for me not to return.

There's always so much to like about any given Westin but the highlights are: - the night time view of the harbor is just stunning - they're added perk packages are good although you'll see below check on the added fees and the times when you can use them - this is any Weston but I love the lavender oil at the bedside and the tranquil designs - Sauciety is also quite good and rather reasonable for a hotel restaurant

I liked everything about the location and the hotel. There were a lot of hidden charges that could have been explained up front. It's already expensive to stay in National Harbor so it was surprising to have an extra $25 in fees.

When we arrived we were informed our reservation was not in their system despite the fact I was able to pull up multiple confirmations in my end.

Very comfortable bed - slept great. Good size room. Excellent river view. Good water pressure in the shower. Nice gym with a nice view. Pretty decent restaurant with good service. Superb location right next to a Starbucks and plenty of other restaurants and shopping.

TV didn't work. Hotel is showing its age. Limited toiletry amenities.

Very outdated and the room could have used a better cleaning. There was visible rust and cob webs in the window.

لا أعلم سبب عدم تجاوب مقر الإقامة مع طلبي بتزويدي لفواتير تستثني الشراب والاكل وتقتصر فقط على الإقامة!! ارسلت أكثر من بريد بطلب فاتورة بهذا الخصوص ولكن لا إجابة للأسف. المكان يستحق إدارة على درجة عالية من تفهم احتياجات الضيوف وطلباتهم.

La literie est déplorable et les draps usés, voire déchirés. Ce n’est pas dit à la réservation mais un « destination fee » de 25$ par jour vous est compté, que vous consommiez à l’hôtel ou pas. Personnellement, j’étais occupé toute la journée et je n’ai jamais pu l’utiliser. Je considère cela comme une pratique commerciale abusive.

I called 3 times and no one could help me and a manager was never there when I called. at this time My Issue is has not been resolved and I am completely dissatisfied about that. I also left my name and number for a call back and I did not get one. If you want to help resolve my issue.

Our stay was part of a weekend trip to Washington. National Harbor is such a great vibe. Some people might say too touristy. Located right on the Potomac River, this is a pretty good hotel. Easy check in and helpful staff. A staff member even went outside to the parking lot to explain the parking and payment process. Sidebar: the only negative during our stay was the parking. Parking lots in the DMV are a joke and a RIPOFF! I was told that it's $25 for an overnight park. But I got my ticket and the machine didn't specify what type I f stay if we're going in and out. Long story short I paid a total of $45 to park one night. I guess I'll learn with experience. I don't want that to take away from the tremendous time and stay at Westin National Harbor. Planning on returning in either April or May so we can take the water taxi to the Wharf. I included a few photos from the meal we ordered at the hotel, which was pretty decent.

Price kinda threw me off. Reservations were made and once at the property to check in the price went up.

I spent $254 in total for one night, honestly all the hotel had to offer me for that was a bed and a workout facility there was no complimentary breakfast, no pool, there was a bathtub instead of a walk in shower, the sink was small and outdated. I feel like overall for how much it costs to stay a night it could have provided me with at least a breakfast and had a walk in shower the rooms very outdated If id wanted a stay where the room felt ancient I could’ve stayed at a quality inn for cheaper and they have a free breakfast

Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations. Upon check-in, I found what appeared to be dried blood on the duvet and hair on one of the pillows, which was concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. I disinfected the bed myself and removed the duvet. The following morning, the on-site restaurant, Sauciety, was closed with no prior notice. Attempts to order through the hotel’s website were unsuccessful due to items being listed as unavailable, even when trying to order something as simple as tea. I spoke with a manager who assured me the issues would be addressed, including having someone inspect the room and providing a missing part for the coffee/tea machine. Unfortunately, neither occurred. I was given a $40 breakfast voucher for the next day, but the restaurant was still closed when I attempted to use it. Overall, the experience was disappointing and fell short of expected standards.
