Le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas correct. Par ailleurs, contre mon accord, j'ai été inscrit sur une site promotionnel (IHG) et me suis retrouvé inondé de mails publicitaires sans aucune possibilité de me désinscrire. Pas professionnel, et inacceptable..

Moving the bathroom door sounded like some was knocking on the outside door. Bad hinge, not a squeak . I asked about it at 9a Sunday, and no one responded. I asked at 5p and was told no one could do anything . I said the review would reflect this and was offered a free drink. They showed up with WD40 which did not help. Room 007. $1000 for 2 nights.

La pulizia della camera è stata praticamente inesistente. Per “pulizia giornaliera” intendono sostanzialmente rifare il letto, ma solo se non c’è nulla appoggiato sopra; in caso contrario, non viene nemmeno rifatto. L’aspirapolvere non viene mai passato e la pulizia del bagno si limita a spruzzare un prodotto e passare velocemente un panno. La doccia, durante il nostro soggiorno, non è mai stata pulita. L’unico servizio effettuato con regolarità è stato il cambio degli asciugamani. Sul sito della struttura viene chiaramente indicata la “pulizia giornaliera”, ma quello che abbiamo riscontrato personalmente è ben lontano da ciò che normalmente si intende per una vera pulizia quotidiana di una camera d’albergo. Quindi attenzione: chi prenota questa struttura deve sapere che, almeno per la nostra esperienza, non può aspettarsi una reale pulizia giornaliera della camera. È un aspetto che ritengo importante conoscere prima di prenotare.

Elevator did not work, beds were horrible, room is very small for the price, had to call for more towels because they gave us enough for one person, too expensive for an old hotel.

The room was small. I asked for two twins and got a twin and a hide-a-bed. Price was a bit much.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr zentral. Die Ausstattung war auch ganz ok. Das Bett war bequem. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Ersatzbett. Leider war dadurch das Zimmer extrem klein, so dass die Koffer kaum Platz hatten. Ausserdem hatten wir eine Verbindungstüre, und wir konnten die Nachbarn jederzeit hören. Das Frühstück war extrem bescheiden, jedoch hat mich am meisten gestört, dass der Raum keine Fenster hatte.

It would be nice if they could fix their curtains. It was falling off because some pins was missing and it’s hard to close it all the way and you can still look through the gaps from outside.

It was located very near to Waverley station and most touristy streets like Victoria street, Royal mile etc.

Breakfast was average, not too many options for the price I paid. Room was not very comfortable, quite basic and no car parking facility by the hotel. Bathroom (shower area) was clogged and had to wait 30-40 mins for someone to show up to fix it.

Posizione centrale, staff molto accogliente e disponibile. Ci hanno dato la possibilità di lasciare una valigia per 3 giorni prima del soggiorno senza pagare.

Nel periodo del nostro soggiorno era rotto l'ascensore e abbiamo dovuto fare 4 piani a piedi con le valigie.

Ascensore rotto per tutto il soggiorno (di tre notti) abbiamo dovuto sollevare le valigie di oltre 20 kg per arrivare alla nostra camera al terzo piano. Non hanno neanche avvertito del problema

Asked for 2 single beds but got a double room with a bed settee which wasn’t set up on arrival. Bed settee uncomfortable.

Die Lage des Hotels ist top. Man ist mitten in der Stadt und fußläufig schnell an den wichtigsten Attraktivitäten.

Der Fahrstuhl war während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes (vier Tage) defekt. Mit schweren Koffern sehr ungünstig. Zum Glück waren wir nur im zweiten Stock einquartiert. Hilfe beim hochschleppen wurde nur zurückhaltend angeboten. Das WLAN funktionierte nicht gut und war ständig unterbrochen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war mittelmäßig, dafür der Preis (Festival Woche) extrem überteuert, insgesamt eine Unverschämtheit.

Das Hotel punktet besonders bei der Lage. Es ist sehr nahe zum Schloss und der Einkaufstrasse.

Preis- Leistung ist es zu teuer. Wir haben ca. 700 Pfund für 2 Nächte bezahlt. Daher haben wir uns schon mehr erhofft auch wenn es "nur" ein 3* Hotel ist. Das Personal macht was es muss, jedoch nicht mehr. Zusatzinformetionen oder Tipps müssen erfragt wwerden und die Auskunft ist meist mangelhaft. Parken vor dem Hotel ist sehr schwierig, da meistens die 2-3 Plätze besetzt sind oder es werden Bussen verteilt.

Elevators weren’t working

The staff was amazing, they tried their best.

The elevator went down the day we got there. We were on the 4th floor. I was mobility impaired due to an injury and had to walk up 4 flights of stairs every time we needed to come down or up. And getting suitcases up and down the stairs was not fun. The lift was bit fixed in the 5 days we were there and they didn’t know when it would be fixed.

Life was broken. Ok for us but hard on older people carrying bags. Maybe supply a foldable suitcase holder in each room.

Hotel molt acollidor, de fet vaig repetir l'estada per ser cèntric i tal i com esperava. Personal molt amable.

En habitacions familiars que són adaptades per minusvàlids també, s'enten però costa moure's al lavabo amb tot a baixa alçada.

Habitació molt còmode i àmplia. Ubicació excel·lent, en 15 minuts estaves al centre de tot. Supermercat Tesco a prop que va molt bé per les provisions. Totalment recomanable i repetiria.

Només destacaria el lavabo que a ser habitació familiar era adaptada per minusvàlids i tot ens quedava baixet però s'enten.

Lo mejor del hotel es su privilegiada ubicación a un paso de la ciudad vieja . El personal es excepcional , eficiente , amables y diligentes , aunque no hablen español .La habitación pequeña pero correcta , el tamaño de las habitaciones en las grandes ciudades turísticas ha sufrido un empequeñecimiento general y este hotel no es la excepción.

Para mí tiene dos puntos débiles , el desayuno que es muy simple y aburrido . Para un par o tres de días pase , nosotros estuvimos ocho noches y los últimos días ya comíamos el desayuno fuera del hotel , teniéndolo pagado. El segundo punto débil es la conectividad , cuando el hotel está lleno , pleno mes de agosto , la señal no es estable y sufre caídas frecuentes , hoy en día esto es una molestia aunque estés de vacaciones

Lo mejor la ubicación cerca de todo el entorno turístico y la atención del Sr. David a nuestra llegada, al igual que el resto del personal. Desayuno correcto. Un 3* correcto y adecuado para ir a Edimburgo.

Por poner algún pero, como éramos 3 en la habitación faltaba un poco de espacio de almacenamiento.

Ideally located in Cowgate just a short walk to Royal Mile and only 10 min walk to Edinburgh Castle. We visited all the main attractions and areas like Holyrood Park (for Arthur's Seat) and Calton Hill both only a 14 minute walk. There is a handy convenience store just opposite, Hotel itself is clean and tidy with a breakfast room on the lower floor (all floors accessible via lift). Breakfast selection is basic but adequate with a choice of hot and cold foods (sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans, scrambled eggs, toast , croissants, muffins, choice of cereal, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit juice). We stayed in room 301 which had a good view towards Arthur's Seat, but the room was set up as accessible and the bathroom was a wet room with the shower in the corner. Unfortunately the whole floor was level and so the whole floor flooded when using the shower! So ask for a non- accessible room if you don't need it!

Wir hatten ein 3 Bett Zimmer, welches groß genug war. Es war barrierefrei, das Bad war gut, aber beim duschen war der Boden etwas nass. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Sehr zentral gelegen. Das Parkhaus NPC ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir würden nochmals wiederkommen

Great location and supportive staff.

Rooms are small and cramped and doesn’t feel like value for money (all you’re paying for is the location). Our room had a leaking AC which wet the entire entryway carpet and was really frustrating to deal with. The staff couldn’t really do much and gave us a drink voucher but rooms need to be double checked before offering them to guests.

الموقع كان قريب من السنتر ومحطه القطار موظفه الاستقبال عند الخروج سمحت لنا بالجلوس حتى الساعه 2 ظهرا

الغرف صغيره لا يوجد ماء في الغرفه عندما تحدثنا مع الاستقبال قالت الموظفه اشربو من الصنبور 😳اضطرينا لشراء الماء من الخارج طول فتره اقامتنا مع ان جميع فنادق العالم الماء من ضمن الغرفه الفطور كان سي كنت افضل عمل البيض حسب الرغبه ولا يكون مطهوا مسبقا لم تكن هناك خيارات لنا كاعرب

the location of the hotel was very good. walk distance for the most of the attractions. staff was kind and tried hard to give us a good time during our stay.

the size of the bed for a couple is not good. too narrow!! I had to ask front desk to set the sofa bed and we slept one on the bed and the other on the sofa bed. location was great. breakfast was fair. no fresh fruits.

Hôtel très bien placé pour visiter Edimbourg. On peut tout faire à pieds. La chambre était très confortable. Le personnel serviable.

The location was ideal with only being about 8 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the Royal Mile. We especially appreciated this since we were hauling our suitcases to and from the train station and Edinburgh is very hilly. We also really appreciated that they had a secure system for storing our bags after check out while we were touring the town before our train left.

They seemed to be understaffed for breakfast and ran out of clean plates and mugs, coffee and some food.

Breakfast is really bad. They don’t even have hot milk, and to get hot water you have to stand in a terrible line for the coffee machine. You spend half of your breakfast just trying to get a cup of coffee.
