Location is fabulous but you need a car to get the most out of the area or pay for cabs everywhere. We always hire a car to get to close by beaches, Palma, Portal Nous and even to Bendinat centre as it's quite a walk up a steep hill. We love the gardens and the fact you can get a sun-bed every day. The pool bar is also excellent and the staff there are very friendly and do an excellent job.

We love everything about this hotel.

I do love a gym, so this was the only thing missing for me. However, I enjoyed my daily sea swims instead.

The room was very nice and so were the hotel grounds. The room was available for early check-in.

The service was poor: every simple request was an uphill battle. One day my room wasn't serviced, even after I requested it. The breakfast buffet was fairly limited, and lounge chairs by the sea or pool were rarely available. Swimming in the sea was unpleasant due to murky water and heavy boat and jet ski traffic. Overall, the food quality didn't match the price level.

We fell in love with Hotel Bendinat from the moment we arrived. I was recommended it by a good friend who has stayed here for years, and we now understand why they keep returning to this gem of a hotel. The setting is stunning - some of the best sea views on Mallorca - and the whole place oozes old school charm. We travelled as three generations of one family (grandmother, mother and daughter) and it was loved by each of us equally. The restaurant is excellent; every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully executed, so we kept going back for more. If you fancy a change of scene, Palma is just a 15-minute cab ride away. We stayed in two double sea view rooms in the main block - well appointed with wonderful views, though the walls could be a little thin. Every room at Hotel Bendinat is different, so it’s worth staying more than once to find your favourite! I found a beautiful coastal walk to do every morning towards Portals from the hotel and our daily swims in the crystal clear waters by the hotel were just lovely. What really makes this hotel special is the staff, many of whom have been there for years. A special mention to Marcos and his family, who run the restaurant with such warmth and professionalism; Carina, who went out of her way to help my mother find Wimbledon tennis on the bar TV so she could watch her favourite player; Victoria, who looked after us on the beach with endless smiles; and fabulous Alejandra, who made our stay that bit more special. Thank you too to Tony in the restaurant, the reception team, and Magdalena and the booking team. We’ll definitely be back — again and again!

I think my review best summed up by saying very disappointed. I booked a 5 night stay with my wife, celebrating our 1 year anniversary. The location, the charm and strong reviews sold me on it. Started great at the airport, after a 5 hour delay out of Nice the private driver was still there as promised 3ven after all the flight issues. That was super appreciated. We get there and get our room - no ac. Note - this was during one of the hottest weeks ever in the med - so it was sweltering. Also no room service or food after 10. Kitchen closed...bummer. The bar staff rustled up some bread and olives which was nice. Because it was later in the evening check in due to our delays only the night crew was there and apparently we had the last room in the hotel - fully booked so no alternative room. So he gave us a single standing fan. Needless to say - one miserable night. The next morning I brought it back to the attention of the desk and we went down to the pool the next day and had a nice lunch and drinks. When I checked a couple hours later they said great news..its fixed. Problem was - it really wasn't. Yes cool air could barely be felt coming from the vent but no where near any sort of normal ac. We brought it up again and they promised to work on it but it never resolved. We blacked out the curtains, kept the fan and made the best of it until the last night where it completely went out again. Error code on the panel - nothing. When I brought it to the attention (again) they said the hotel has an issue and I could talk to them in the am when we checked out. So a very miserable last night. The cherry on the cake of our last night? We went to the lovely and delicious restaurant for our anniversary dinner at 940 and placed an order. We watched 2 other tables get seated after us and food come, including a whole fish to go for the table in front of us at 1015. At 1020 the waiter comes to apologize and sys due to a problem with the lights (?) our food isnt coming because now the kitchen is closed and offered us a salad. I was not understanding because I just watched two hot entrees get served and he said well he ordered by phone. Me: yeah but his order just got served? It was clear he forgot to put our order in and the kitchen closed and wouldnt accommodate his mistake. We just got up and left. There were some standout employees for sure, the woman working breakfast as the supervisor and the woman bartender at the pool are excellent - as was one of the main guys at the restaurant that always ensured we got an amazing table. I get thst things happen but the lack of accommodation or offering anything at all other than sorry just isnt it for this price point. We are by no means hard to please but as well no ac is a fundamental failure which again- things happen but we were there for 5 nights - find us another room. Bonus tip - dont let them give you room 109 its right next to the storage for the housekeeping so you will not only hear all the equipment as they do their work, but all the staff conversations starting too early in the am as well as that door opening and closing all day. Im hoping the hotel will see this and somehow make it right but this was something we looked forward to for a long time and had nothing but frustration and having to make "the best of it" and a fundamental lack of services and hospitality. Things happen but how you respond to them is all the difference and Hotel Bendinat failed us.

The hotel enjoys a fantastic location, and having breakfast there each morning is an absolute privilege. The reception staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always making guests feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast team is equally attentive and provides outstanding service, even during busy or challenging situations. The restaurant impresses not only with its spectacular location but also with the excellent quality of its food and carefully selected ingredients. The hotel is not particularly well suited for young children unless they are able to entertain themselves independently or, for example, enjoy spending time together jumping into the sea with other children.

10/10 lunch experience we booked for the last day of our holiday - can’t recommend enough! Particular shout out to Alejandra for making it such a special experience

This is an absolutely charming spot to stay in Mallorca. It’s pierced above the sea-gorgeous views wherever you are. The restaurant and daily breakfast are excellent. Staff is friendly and efficient. Our room was cleaned daily. There is a rocky beach, which is busy and fun. A sand beach is an 8 minute walk away. We contemplated going to a beach club and thought why bother. It’s perfect where we are. We had no problems parking our car and took a daily excursion somewhere on the island. I would stay here again and again.

Frukosten var helt fantastisk, när man väl hade förstått hur proceduren var. När det inte fanns någon ost för mig som allergiker, ordnades detta på bästa sätt! När kylskåpet inte var kallt, fixades detta på nolltid! Ordningen i trädgården!

Asfalterad gång utanför, där sopkärlen drogs fram och tillbaka. De gapande turisterna på den allmänna udden, men det kan ju inte hotellet rå för. Tur att vi inte fick Cottage nr 1.

the toilet had a constant leak , and the hot water did not work unlless you opened two other taps first , first the bide , then the sink , then the shower , if not no hot water in the shower . a maintenance man had to show us this after we decided to make the problem aware . but we were very very happy with the cottage and the hotel , no complaints . we will return and we will tell our friends to come for sure .

Ich bekam ein Upgrade in ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit einmaliger Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Personal, besonders die Frauen im Restaurant sind unglaublich professionell, freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Obwohl es den ein oder anderen herausfordernden Gast gab, haben sie sich nicht aus der Ruhe bringen lassen und sind stets freundlich geblieben (Chapeau!!)

Eine einmalige Aussicht hatte ich auch auf den Kran des Nachbargrundstücks, wo gebaut wurde. Baulärm von 9-17 Uhr. Krach, Bauarbeiter die auf meine Terrasse besten Einblick hatten. Ich hätte mir dringlich gewünscht das VORHER mitgeteilt zu bekommen. Bei 500€ pro Nacht ist das schon ärgerlich. Gerade weil ich nur Ruhe und Frieden für 2 Tage suchte. Das war leider nichts. Beim auschecken sagte man mir die Bauarbeiten hätten nur bis 13 Uhr andauern dürfen. Dieses Wissen hat mir auch nichts mehr gebraucht und wurde vom Hotel auch nicht nachverfolgt. Definitiv schade!

Our room was next to kitchen extractors and so we had to put up with good smells all the time. The fittings in bathroom were tired. Shower set up flooded the bathroom - we tried to be careful but still ended up with wet floors. Bedroom quite small

An absolute gem of a hotel. Everything is perfect. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and nothing can beat the beautiful terrace restaurant which we ate in for 2 evenings (we never normally dine in the hotels because we like to go and explore other restaurants). Just stunning.

We were unfortunate to have a noisy aircon unit in our room (106) which we had to turn off at night so the room was very hot. We booked last minute so only room available but if you can, pay a little extra for bigger room which we will definitely do next year on our return. Cant wait.

De ligging van onze kamer 405, grenzend aan het grasveld en nabij het zwembad. Ontbijt, diner en personeel, alles was uitstekend!

Stunning location. Beautiful hotel and surroundings.

Building site right next door to the hotel which we were not informed about prior to booking. What should have been a tranquil stay was spoilt a bit by the noise if the crane and drilling. The hotel did everything they could to stop the workmen from starting early in the morning. I received a partial refund after complaining which was a nice gesture.

L'emplacement, la configuration hôtelière, le cadre, la vue sur mer...

Bien que la mer soit aux abords de l'hôtel, ce "rocher" qui fait office de plage, est en fait un endroit public difficile d'accès, de même qu'il est envahi. La piscine quant à elle est relativement petite et mériterait un aménagement plus digne d'un quatre étoiles. Parallèlement côté restauration, le service n'est pas des meilleur : accueil et amabilité du personnel à désirer, temps d'attente long, prix exorbitants pour une carte qui ne le vaut pas. Idem pour le petit déjeuner où le service à la carte (boissons, oeufs...) manque de réactivité. Cet hôtel est clairement ciblé pour les touristes d'Europe du Nord, peut-être moins regardants côté gastronomie et prix.

The staff were extremely helpful, polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them throughout our stay. The room was lovely and we had everything we needed. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent .

Die Lage ist sensationell, das Hotel liegt ruhig und direkt am Meer.

Unser Zimmer war unmodern, hatte aber einen tollen Blick, weshalb man darüberhinwegschaut. Das Frühstücksangebot könnte mehr alternative Produkte aus Soja, Humus etc. beinhalten. Es wäre gut, wenn man die nassen Handtücher am Pool austauschen könnte. Ein Sportangebot wäre auch schön. Dies sind jedoch nur subjektive Eindrücke und Anregungen. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt

I recently returned from my first visit to Hotel Bendinat and it certainly won't be my last! It was simply wonderful. The hotel, the location, the views, the amenities, the food...... I could go on. Everyone at the hotel were warm and welcoming - thank you. But a special thanks to Alejandra, the wonderful Guest Experience Manager, who made my stay even more special! Thank you Alejandra. I look forward to seeing all again soon!

Perfect location with views over the sea. Lovely room, very spacious and comfortable. Food and service were exceptional. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist definitiv die traumhafte Lage: Der Ausblick ist wunderschön und prinzipiell sehr ruhig, und der direkte Zugang zum Strand macht das Ganze besonders attraktiv. Auch das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Ein weiteres Highlight war das hoteleigene Restaurant – das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig.

Leider gibt es einige deutliche Kritikpunkte. Die Zimmer wirken insgesamt veraltet und könnten dringend modernisiert werden (bspw lief im Badezimmer bei der Nutzung der Spülung Wasser aus, zudem klemmte einmal die Tür vollständig, auch der Kleiderschrank ließ sich wegen verzogener Holztüren nicht richtig schließen). Zusätzlich kam es regelmäßig zu Baulärm durch Bauarbeiten auf einem benachbarten Grundstück, was die Erholung spürbar beeinträchtigt hat. Insgesamt entstand bei uns auch der Eindruck, dass das Hotel eher auf einen älteren Stammgast-Tourismus ausgerichtet ist, was sich in Atmosphäre und Ausstattung widerspiegelt. Fazit: Eine tolle Lage und gutes Essen treffen hier auf deutlichen Renovierungsbedarf und einige störende Faktoren.

Fantastiskt läge vid havet! Härligt att inta måltiderna på den fina terrassen med utsikt över havet. Jättegod frukost! Mycket trevlig, vänlig och hjälpsam personal! Rent och fint överallt.

Internetanslutningen var problematisk.

Vänligt, välstädat, snyggt inrett, mängder av platser att sitta och njuta, läckert placerade solstolar.

Ett litet minus att det inte fanns tillräckligt många platser i trädgården till frukosten.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar - das Frühstück ist ungewöhnlich überschaubar als Buffet, aber die Frühstücksschicht der Mitarbeiter ist an Freundlichkeit, Schnelligkeit, Fürsorge und Hilfsbereitschaft fantastisch.

Das Badezimmer war bereits vor uns dem Untergang geweiht - zerbrochene Fliesen, massiver Schimmel in den Fugen, Optik der 80iger und eine von unten bereits stark verrottete Tür …. Abendschicht im Restaurant sehr rustikal - muss man lieben - Gäste sind eher störend und Gäste mit eigenen Wünschen nicht vorgesehen, leider, wir sind dann aushäusig sehr lecker abends Essen gewesen die Tage.

Excelente ubicación, frente al mar y una zona residencial agradable y tranquila. Equilibrio perfecto entre lo clásico y lo moderno. Disfrutamos de una bonita suite con vistas al mar, confortable y bien equipada. Personal muy amable. Restaurante en localización espectacular, y platos muy ricos.

Se echa de menos una ducha de mano y/o regulable en altura.

We’ve just returned from another fantastic stay at Hotel Bendinat, and once again it exceeded all expectations. The location is simply unbeatable — right on the rocky coastline with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. It’s the perfect blend of tranquility, elegance, and authentic Mallorcan charm. Our room was bright, comfortable, and spotless, with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and having breakfast surrounded by pine trees and blue water. The restaurant is outstanding — excellent food, a great selection of wines, and impeccable service. Every meal felt special, whether it was a leisurely lunch by the sea or dinner under the stars. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their attention to detail made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. After many years of traveling around Mallorca, this remains one of our favorite places on the island. Peaceful, beautiful, and full of character — Hotel Bendinat is simply perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Location, view and restaurant - are terrific!

Not enough sun beds. Our room “suite “ was not even close to suite - small, not attractive with terrible smell of sewer in the bathroom . One time we ordered room service for dinner, after 2 hours when we called - they completely forgot about our order.

Die Poolbar war meistens geschlossen und sonst gibt‘s auf der Terrasse keinen Service für Drinks oder kleine Snacks am Mittag u. Nachmittag. Nur weiss gedeckt für Lunch-Gäste. Da sollte sich das Bendinat als 4* Hotel etwas einfallen lassen.

The ocean views were amazing, I couldn’t believe how beautiful the vista was. The property is gorgeous and a nice walk to the marina. Highly recommend.

Serviço de bar na piscina. No Domingo estava apenas 1 empregado a servir 20/30 pessoas, a ter que ir à cozinha buscar os pratos, e naturalmente, por que se esforçasse, que se esforçou sempre com boa cara, não conseguia dar para todas as encomendas e o serviço demorava muitíssimo.

Menu was expensive The room was a great size but had know style at all ,very white walls ,lighting ,bit like a hospital. The rest of the property was beautiful.

Wir hatten zunächst ein viel zu kleines Zimmer, aber die Rezeption hat sich extrem bemüht und uns schnellstmöglich umgebucht. Personal und Küche sind fantastisch. Die Spa-Mitarbeiterin Katia ist außergewöhnlich gut -- wie es selten in einem Hotel anzutreffen ist.

Die Zimmer und Suiten sind sehr unterschiedlich. Es würde helfen, sie in mehrere Preiskategorien zu unterteilen, damit es keine falschen Erwartungen gibt.

Location is fantastic.

Restaurent needs to be more careful with the food produced, my wife ordered the octopus, sadly it had to be returned as was soooo tough! The Burrata salad replacing it had been rushed, it did not resemble the same i had to start with. Breakfast on the 7th was a disaster, not until we had ordered, and a good 10 mins after did the waiter announce it would be a further 20 mins before we received eggs benedict. We cancelled as we had to leave for the airport. Not the best last experience.

Lage ist ok Wir können kein objektives Urteil abgeben, da unser Handkoffer samt Schmuck und Schuhen ab dem Gepäckwagen vom Portier gestohlen wurde Einzig nach Bitten hat man uns für die Umtriebe ein Nachtessen von der Rechnung gestrichen. Selbst ist niemand darauf gekommen

Wir sind mit dem Auto vor den Hoteleingang gefahren. Das Gepäck wurde ausgeladen und auf dem Gepäckwagen deponiert. Man schickte uns zum Checkin. Als wir fertig waren fehlte unser Handkoffer mit all unserem Schmuck. Wir waren an eine Hochzeit eingeladen, deshalb etwas mehr als üblich. Ramon hat uns am anderen Tag zur Guardia civil begleitet, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Der Dieb wurde auf dem Hotelvideo festgehalten. Gut erkennbar. Aber leider interessiert sich für einen Handkoffer Diebstahl niemand wirklich. Wir mussten dann zuerst Schuhe und Handtasche kaufen gehen. Bis heute weigert sich der hoteldirektor uns den Namen seiner Versicherung zu geben. Das finden wir eigenartig. Auch wird das Video zurückbehalten, obwohl mein Anwalt darum gebeten hat. Somit war das die erste und letzte Reise in dieses Hotel

Die Liegen wurden schon vorm Frühstück mit Tücher besetzt.

Pool too small

A very good breakfast in a beautiful terrace front sea with a buffet and many hot meals available to order directly at the table. The air conditioning works perfectly in the room, and after sunbathing there is a great spot to swim during the day.

Having to wake up early to take sunbeds in good position 😄
