The staff were exceptional, they went above and beyond to make myself and my six year old daughter welcome. this goes from management to cleaners, everyone was brilliant. We visited to see family and when we decided to all eat in the hotel at very short notice they were fantastic and found us room on one of there busiest nights of the week. We are already looking forward to another visit.

The rooms were quite dirty, lots of dust and cobwebs, marks on the sheets, bathroom had toothpaste marks from previous guests. Bathroom was extremely small and difficult to navigate

We have stayed here alot and enjoy every stay. Sadly this time it didn't go smoothly. I had booked a deluxe double. We did arrive early and house keeping said our room would be ready in an hour so good from there. When we got the keys to our room we expected one of the new rooms .we did infact get a disabled room wich we didnt want to stay in. the staff were amazing and found us another room. It would be good on the website to mention its for disabled people with a wet room .my wife was really upset because we had been caring for her mother who had a room similar. In a care home

Everything. We had one of the new family courtyard rooms. Very spacious, comfortable bed, superbly clean, settee, large tv. Tea, coffee, biscuits and 2 small bottles of water per day. Great choice at breakfast, cooked breakfast to order. Evening meals were high quality and plentiful. Our dog was made very welcome and could accompany us to breakfast and dinner. There were a number of dogs staying while we were there. If you don’t like dogs then this is not the place for you. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, well done on your excellent team. There were many returning guests staying. New EV chargers have just been installed, though currently having some teething problems, but we managed to charge our car successfully.

The car park is new deep gravel and has a number of potholes on the driveway that need attention.

Dog-friendly. Good parking. Large, comfortable room with excellent bathroom, which opened onto grass area - very convenient for the dogs. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.

The breakfast was excellent, good choice and lovely setting. I very much appreciated the chef catering for my dietary needs and really enjoyed my dinner thank you. We would definitely stay again. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, you have a great team of staff.

It would be useful to have A/C in the rooms as that would be the only reason we wouldn't stay with you during the summer months.

Lovely room with plenty of space - we stayed in a deluxe room overlooking the front of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious.

We had a short break at The Coach House and it was excellent. Food was great, staff were really friendly & very helpful, even letting us order some food to our room when we were tired and a bit too full for a meal in the restaurant....even though they do not actually offer room service. Accommodation was really good and very spacious. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

The location was near to shops, places of interest, breakfast was great, was superb stay the room, staff, food . We will definitely go back .

Maybe update the door locks, old fashioned keys. Doors do not autolock when you shut them, remember to lock your doors when you enter and depart the rooms.

Great location that serves as an excellent base for exploring the area. Breakfast very good, tasty prepared with quality ingredients. Super friendly and accommodating staff who made the stay incredibly welcoming. Bed was very comfortable with high-quality bedding and perfect pillows.

The toilet flush wasn't great, but it was only one small thing in an otherwise perfect stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here at The Coach House. The room was comfortable, light and airy. The hotel is very well kept in a modern, clean, appealing appearance, very well suited for any event. The staff are very helpful and polite at all times. Close to the coast, major road connection, and bus route directly outside the hotel. Food here is exceptional.

Breakfast was lovely accept the fry up , it seemed the bacon was made earlier and just heated for whoever ordered it. It was overdone and difficult to eat both mornings .

Like many I booked the Coach House in order to visit the next door museum (East Anglia Transport Museum) and it was excellently placed for this. The welcome on arrival was great and the receptionist was keen to offer advice on the local area and transport options. The room and ensuite were very comfortable, well equipped and spacious. I breakfasted twice and had one evening meal, all were excellently cooked and well served.

We stayed in a newly renovated room which was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The receptionist gave us such a warm and professional welcome. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect. We also had our little dog Lucci with us and really appreciated how welcoming and dog-friendly the hotel was. 🐾

Breakfast was very good. Limited buffet but cooked food was very good indeed. I asked for a half portion and they were more than happy to oblige.

Cleaning in the room was slightly under par but nothing more than a bit of dusting would have fixed.

Absolutely fantastic. I've been to hundreds of hotels, bed and breakfasts and this was by far the best. Every single detail couldn't have been better. The receptionist was very attentive, even called me by name and was very entertaining. The bed and facilities in my room were all great. One of the highlights was breakfast, it was so nice to have a menu choice and the eggs benedict was the best I've ever had. I'll be back for sure, as it was truly 5 star

We arrived late at night and were given a warm welcome. Our courtyard facing double room was spacious with quality linen and towels. The king sized bed was very comfortable, with usb charging sockets by the bed. Decent storage with a kettle, tea/coffee, milk, biscuits, bottled water and hairdryer in the room. Clever layout with a great en-suite. Lovely shower with good pressure and plentiful hot water. The towel rail seemed to be on a timer and was piping hot overnight. Very nice toiletries supplied. The room had a beautiful wooden ceiling fan which was surprisingly efficient at keeping the room cool enough during a heatwave. Strong wi-fi signal and a TV. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cereals, fruit, pastries and jams. Waitress service to take your hot food order which had a good range of options from a full English to American waffles, with vegetarian options. Plentiful tea and coffee and fruit juices with not a coffee machine in sight! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. We also ate at the hotel one evening which was also good food and service. Location is spot on for Lowestoft, Beccles and Southwold. So many quaint places to visit. We'd definitely stay here again.

My only gripe and it's a minor one - the extractor fan in the en-suite was rather loud. However, the noise could be lessened by keeping the bathroom door closed.

One night stay for four great friends after a lovely day in Southwold. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we entered the hotel. V welcoming man on reception, even took us to our rooms. Barman and night porter very friendly and ensured we were comfortable in the bar area. Excellent service at breakfast. The team were so friendly and accommodating. Hotel is beautiful, such great value. The photos do not do it justice. Delicious breakfast, everything you vould want. Thank you so so much x

This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff are good and breakfast ample, good location and parking.

Very noisy, wooden floors in corridor so you can hear every footstep, doors banging all night, inconsiderate women in room next to ours having a late night party, singing, completely oblivious to other guests. Not the hotels fault but this is the reason why I marked it down as I’m basing this review on our experience. Room cleaning staff chatting, laughing loudly and again, banging doors in the morning. So we got very little sleep. Shame as it really is a lovely place.

I have stayed at nice hotels all over the world, and they all have some good aspects AND bad also, however, this hotel had the most friendliest staff I have ever met, NOTHING was too much trouble, especially Daisy and Mike, my room was impeccable, and I couldnt fault it, the hotel is ideally situated, very quiet, with lovely gardens to sit at tables and chat and drink. I thought the food menu was superb and fairly priced, and the level of cooking/cuisine, was second to none (well done chef), I am so impressed with this Inn that I am treating my daughter and her husband to a long weekend there for their anniversary later next year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYBODY, and Booking.com for everything, AND I shall be back next year as well for another short break
