Rooms were clean, Parking was not expensive, food was good

The staffing in the restaurant was poor, for Labor Day weekend, they should have had more staff. We had to wait firstly to get seated for breakfast, as we were not told we should make a booking for breakfast and there would be a potential wait, for the first day we had to wait 20 mins for a table. For the second day we make a reservation, but because they were short staffed it took 15 mins for someone to take our orders, the food then took 45 mins, so for breakfast it took is an hour. Tables were not being cleared after the people left, and I cleared plates were attracting bugs. The restaurant service needs to do better

At every possible opportunity, the hotel tries to nickel and dime you for extra services. $16/day for parking in their own attached garage. Early check in fees and late check out fees, regardless of whether they’re sold out or not.

Since we were Marriott people we got an automatic upgrade with beautiful water view. It was our anniversary and we had always wanted to check out Erie. Has so much to offer with the water adventures, etc.

It was peaceful and quiet , I liked being on the 8th floor away from everything else and the breakfast and supper was great .

We stay at this hotel one to two times a year for pleasure. We usually have a great experience with the front desk staff. This visit the front desk woman who checked us in was rude and could not be bothered beyond taking our name and credit card.

Great location. Room was clean, staff is friendly. Our room was on the 8th floor - The lounge is very nice, I just wish there were option for juice or milk. Instead of water and soda. The coffee in the room wasn’t to our liking. We wished the coffee machine was available at 5. Found out it wasn’t available until 6:30 - Not good for the early risers.

Key card for parking didn't work. Watched for a half of a hour other people trying to use their card. None worked until you hit help. Also the shower was ridiculous, curtain not long enough and no water pressure. Not enough light in bathroom , could not even see to shave or wife to do makeup.

We were given at first a room with a view of air conditioning machines and a TV that didn’t work. After complaining (we had a booked a marina view) front desk switched us. I feel for the price parking and a breakfast credit should be a courtesy

Outside deck with comfy chairs outside pool on side of building could have been opened as a quieter place to sit outside. Was locked.

My husband (who is disabled and in a wheelchair chair) and I booked a room overlooking the bay for a 2 day stay with our dog at the Sheraton. We were given a room on the second floor next to the banquet room. While there they had a wedding both nights that we were there. The music was very loud. The hotel advertised dog friendly but they only had a strip of grass bordering their entrance. We had to walk to the Mariott next door for our dog to have a place to use the bathroom. We informed the checkin clerk upon arrival that we booked the roll in shower and our dog was a service animal and firstly was still charged $75, and secondly the roll in shower room with chair was faulty and broke while my husband was showering causing him to fall. The staff only offered to get the chair fixed once we checked out and deducting one day of parking. This alone didn’t help my situation due to my husband falling and I am very unimpressed with their customer service skills. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that our room was very clean but we would never stay there again. Do yourself a favor and don't book this hotel if you are traveling with your dog or require actual ADA amenities.

Mattress seemed sunken in the middle and raised at the edges. Food at restaurant was good but service was very slow, however we were dining late. Parking seemed overpriced for the area and considering the cost of the room.

Reserved a room here for the holiday weekend and it was obviously very expensive but a great way to watch the fireworks. For that price, though, I expected a shorter line at check-in, an open pool, and no grubby handprints all over the room. Luckily the staff was helpful in resolving our issues but if I had known the pool would not be available I would have booked elsewhere so this was very disappointing.

I stayed in mid-May as part of a birdwatching group. The hotel provided complementary parking for members of the group, which was much appreciated. Leo was friendly and helpful at check-in. The room was spacious and clean, with extra floor space for suitcases, plenty of seating, and a small table. I had a bay front room, so the views were amazing. There was a lot of lighting in the bedroom area. Bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge and a bottle of water. The room did not have a microwave. There was a communal microwave in the vending area. It was spotless the first couple times I tried to use it to heat a cup of tea. On my final morning, someone had used it to make oatmeal and had made a mess, so I had to ask for a cup of hot water in the lobby for my tea. Bathroom had a standalone shower, which is great. The shelves in the shower were a little too small for my personal toiletries, and the grab bars were in an inconvenient location. Lighting was ok, but could use a little more. Hallways were noisy on the weekend from other guests being loud. The Marriott app made ordering room service easy. Room service was fast and delicious, although not a ton of meal options. Parking was conveniently attached, although one of the doors between the hotel and garage did not have a button that you could press to open the doors, so it was a little challenging to navigate with suitcases. The door closest to the hotel did have that option. Overall, I would stay here again.

we had breakfast included in the rate but when we went to eat at 8:30am nothing much left and attendant was in the back but did not re-fill, also payed for early check in but pool closed!

I liked the bay view at sunset, that was beautiful. I liked the overall esthetic and look of the hotel.

The bathroom shower was moldy and dirty, I wore water shoes just to take a shower. There is a cement pole outside the window that had a livery large light on all night long, couldn't get a nice dark room. The bathroom was only lit by the mirror, which was far to dim for actual shower or toilet use. The club lounge options were minimal at best, did not have the upscale vibe I was expecting for that level. - this floor also does Not have an ice machine, you have to go to other floors for ice. I explained during check that the card that was "scanned for incedentals only" was not to be used for the room, well they put the whole room in the card. Additionally there were some issues with both rooms I was issued and when discussing one of the issues with the manager, she hung up the phone. Highly unprofessional! Overall, I was highly disappointed with the hotel, especially as its supposed to be upscale and for the cost.

Club lounge breakfast uses powder eggs which were inedible. So I skipped it on day 2 of our stay. Returned on day 3 and they had bite sized egg whites with spinach which were tasty. It seems inconsistent. Could use some improvement.

Location was close to restaurants and I asked for a little something to help celebrate our 30 wedding anniversary. They came through with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne beautifully done!

At first we thought the view was the Dobbins Landing tower of the bay. We had the marina view of the boats. Next time we go there, I'll make sure we get the Bay view of Dobbins Landing. Although we saw it outside the room window on corner.

We had a staff walk in while my spouse was heating up food. While staff gave us back our trash bins, my husband was back and tried to take it from staff...staff kept on and went in our room to set it down.

I believe for Erie.. the cost was extremely high.... the room rate was ok, but drinks, food, etc was high.... no fan in bathroom; no luggage rack;

Lovely hotel with stunning sunsets and a kind staff. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. We sat at the bar and had a nice time, my only feedback would be to remove the liquor bottles blocking the view of the lake and sunsets from behind the bar.

We had a great view from our hotel. The staff were all so lovely, the facilities were phenomenal. Free breakfast at the club, the pool, and the restaurant were all great.

$16 a day to park is ridiculous. Room was smaller than expected. Not needing to use all of the amenities but having to pay for them is crazy. No fan in the bathroom and the lighting was too low. Fridge was tiny. Felt like a holiday Inn.

This hotel is in an excellent location, particularly if you value being near the water. The views of the bay are a standout feature, and the outdoor seating areas provide a great opportunity to enjoy the setting when the weather cooperates. That said, getting to and from the hotel can be frustrating. Ongoing construction in the area makes access unnecessarily complicated, especially if you’re not familiar with the local streets. It requires a fair amount of zigzagging to navigate, which can be inconvenient. The hotel does offer covered parking at a reasonable fee, which helps offset some of that inconvenience. Check-in was a strong point. The front desk staff were helpful, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making the process feel rushed. The room itself was very solid. I had a king room with a bay view, and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the overall environment made it easy to relax. The only drawback was the bathroom layout. The door configuration and limited space made getting in and out more awkward than it should be. The common areas throughout the hotel were well-maintained and clean. The lobby and restaurant/bar area are especially well done, even though I did not personally use the dining options. One of the highlights of the stay was the members lounge. Access was included through my Marriott status, and it was easily the best service experience in the hotel. Both the evening and morning staff were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and proactive in making sure guests had everything they needed. The lounge was also well-stocked and consistently maintained. Overall, this was a good experience. The combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, and standout lounge staff makes this a solid choice. The primary drawback is simply the difficulty of navigating to and from the property due to the surrounding construction.

We had dinner there Friday night the salad was great the soup was good but the steak was tough I didn't think it was worth $50

The view was great. Water pressure was better than expected.

Next to elevators (noisy). Mattress needs replacement (sagging). Biggest disappointment: the restaurant. Options were only at the high end of prices and very "cheffy" . Just offer simple food, well prepared. Bar food would be very welcome instead of fancy, heavily sauces food options.

Excellent check-in. Friendly and amazing staff!! We were here for 2 nights. We enjoyed club level breakfast and we had dinner in the igloo too although it was a cold night. I had the best sleep here. However pool didn't have a deep end just less than 4 feet deep all the way.

Spent one day and night there and would return. We had a 8th floor water view and it was spectacular. Woke up to seeing the ice fishing huts all over the frozen ice. Staff were friendly and we had no issues with the room.

I booked two rooms at this hotel for my family. We were traveling in Ohio and came to Erie on the fly due to a snowstorm (family hasn’t seen a major storm). The hotel has gone through the renovation of the Sheraton brand but still left a little to be desired. We were not on the club level despite being Titanium and the up button on the elevator was not working. To get to the lounge we had to go to the bottom and then back up. We used the coin laundry during our stay which is a rip off. The machines on either floor did not dry clothes very well despite being an average load and required multiple payments for multiple cycles. Upon leaving I like to strip the room to help the housekeeper and the room had one of the most disgusting stained mattresses I have seen in years that was clearly not updated during the renovation.

Upon arrival there was a weird stench that lingered from the air conditioner into our room maybe from outside, but it smelled like sewer for the first night. We had booked for two nights and were only given a roll of toilet paper. House keeping walked right into our room after knocking and waiting for 3 seconds max. Parking was $16 per night when there was free parking closer and we were not made aware of that. There was a trash can full of puke just sitting outside our hallway.

Room was very nice, i arrived after dark and had to check out early so I really didn't notice the view. The bed was very comfortable!

I had requested that my room be near my co-workers but I was on the 6th floor and she was on the 2nd. When we ask if we could get rooms closer together, we were informed that it would cost $20 dollars more. Why do they even bother to ask if you want rooms near each other when making the reservations if they can't honor that request at check in?

Due to construction, it was challenging to get to the Sheraton. Our marina view was pleasant; seeing Lake Erie would have been even nicer. The bed and pillows were NOT comfortable: the mattress was uneven or tilted, and the pillows were too soft or worn. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. Breakfast was just OK. The location was excellent for going to shops, taking a dinner sunset cruise, and going to Presque Isle.

The mattresses and pillows could have been more comfortable for the price. The breakfast was very basic for the price.

Recently stayed at the Sheraton Bayfront for a week while in a business trip. Hotel is great. Rooms are comfortable. The onsite restaurant serves quality food and the view is great. The gym has excellent equipment and everything you need to workout while away from home.

Shuttle service started an hour too late. Too far to walk to downtown for business. Booking Com noted reservation was fee free for cancelation, bit when I tried to cancel, i was prevented from doing that. I HATE BOOKING.COM!
