No ice box. No soap in the bathroom. Very cheap amenities taken away. Very disappointed ☹️

Staff was very nice, when I first walked into my room the air was musty, I thought maybe because the air was just turned on and it was hot outside but found out later as I was standing in front of the sink that the carpeting was very wet, so I had to put a towel over the wet area. I’m not sure if the drain was leaking or they used a wet vac and didn’t vacuum up the water, other than that everything else was pretty good.

the refrigerator did not work, and there was mold in the shower - that was the largest complaint. I spoke to Adam at the front desk. He cam back to our room a while later and said we could move to another room, or would offer a discount. I believe it was 35%. We were leaving in the morning so we said just the discount was acceptable, as we figured we'd shower at the next hotel. He said booking.com would have to provide the discount. How do we accomplish that?

The room was fairly clean. Staff was friendly enough. Pretty good location, close to local attractions.

The bathroom was a little gross. There were splatter stains on the walls around the toilet. The shower head was very basic and low pressure. It dripped non-stop and there was mildew/mold in the shower. I also didn't get very hot water when I showered, even with it set all the way to hot. My wife said hers was hot though, so maybe I just showered at a bad time(?)

AC unit didn’t blow cold air and room stayed at 78 degrees. Towels were clean but appeared to be a bit dated and over laundered.

The third shift front desk attendant was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. To myself and I witnessed her being the same way to another customer. Your hotel tried to charge me for our room that was already paid for in advance, in full. When I politely pointed this out, immediately, I was essentially told I was lying when I had proof on my phone. My bank account clearly showed the hotel was charging me for the room when it shouldn’t have been. The pending payment in my bank account clearly had the hotel name and yet the attendant and the manager on the phone still said it wasn’t true. Then, in the middle of all this, the fraud department from my bank actually called to see if we authorized this transaction. The bank employee literally told the desk attendant and manager on the phone with her that there were in fact pending charges for the hotel room. Your employees still said it wasn’t true. The manager on the phone was at least polite but your front desk attendant was not. She was acting “ghetto” for lack of better words. Do better.

Easy check in and out

We were in a handicapped room and when they lost power we had no emergency lighting in the room and were in total darkness for a few hours. Had to use our phones for light. For a 2 night stay for 2 people only 1 bath towel was in room. We had to ask for more. Only had coffee pack to make 1 cup. Could be better stocked. Front desk did not know if any emergency lights should have come on or even existed.

The bathroom in my room was not cleaned at all. When I checked out Adam from the front deck said to contact booking. Com for a full refund. They said the hotel would not agree to the full refund. I wanted to check in at 2 could not because the room wasn’t cleaned came back at 4 checked in and left for an even came back at 1130 bathroom still not cleans someone’s else hair all through the tub, floor m, had to wait 25 minutes for clean towel and had to go back down to get them

There was only one set of towels in the room so my husband had to go to the front desk for more. The towels need to be bleached / replaced because they looked gray and worn. The ice machines were gone or out of order on floors 2-3-4 and according to past reviews have been out of order for months. They did not have the waffle maker for breakfast (this was the only thing that I would have for breakfast on previous visits). The attendant would not print out the bill for me at checkout stating that I booked thru booking.com. so would have to get one from them. I will be checking out other hotels the next time we go to Presque Isle.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very busy keeping everything well stocked. Will definitely stay here again in future!

We have stayed here before with no issues

The shower and bathroom floor had a very messy repair done. Everything worked well, it was just unprofessional. But what REALLY disappointed us was the horrible hot breakfast. Sausage gravy, ok. But only bread offered, no biscuits or bagels? Some weird white stuff, we found out later it was egg whites, tasteless. One choice for cereal. No fruit, yogurt, or pastries. It was not like this at other visits

I checked in just before 7:30 pm and checked back out at around 10 pm the same night. I didn’t like anything.

They have bed bugs. I checked into room 123 on 8/14/26, went to get dinner with my family, and when we came back we discovered bed bugs crawling on the sheets. We left immediately, if they are in one room they are in all of them.

Staff was fantastic. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Everyone went the extra mile to make our visit pleasant.

There was nothing I did not like.

I really loved how clean and comfortable the room was. It had everything we needed, including a microwave, TV, and refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast was also really good, and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. It was also nice that this hotel was fairly close to all the places we wanted to visit.

Broken shower door handle. There was no shower soap in the shower soap dispenser in my shower. No extra sheets, blankets and pillows for the pullout couch were available without going to the front desk to get them.

The air conditioning worked as expected. The breakfast was ok. Hot eggs, sausage, and home fries as well as choices of bread.

There was DRIED BLOOD on the comforter and they didn’t have another comforter to give me and were full so they couldn’t give me a new room. They gave me new sheets with extra flat sheets. There was only 1 towel but luckily they were able to give us more. The coffee was really bad. I am not a coffee snob but it was so bad that I went to the gas station across the street for a decent cup.

I filed the complaint which was ignored by the property. There was completely no soap in the bathroom in the sink. I file a complaint with Booking.com, who tried to get a hold of the property and was ignored.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Our room was neat when we entered.

The room was open when we arrived. The shower had noticeable mold and mildew. We did laundry: the washer had a faulty gasket and leaked alll over the floor. When my husband went to the front desk to report this, no one showed concern or even came to clean up the mess. The dryer was missing its lint trap; I almost lost a sock in it when loading! I expect more for the price we paid.

No smart t.v., so no streaming possible, and the t.v. kept shutting off. When I asked about it at the front desk, they said the smoke from the wildfires in Canada was affecting their cable!? The breakfast area was not stocked, at 8:00 a.m. there were empty food items everywhere! Also, after we checked in, we came down to get a cup of coffee and the carafe was empty, we asked if it could be filled, but it never was. Those little things add up, making the stay less than expected.

We were eaten alive by bed bugs the first night. We got moved to a different room and woke up again with more bed bug bites. We are still waiting for a refund that was promised to us. The breakfast was not served at the time they said it would be served, so we could not have the free breakfast offered.

Both mornings of our stay, by 8:00 s.m. there was little to no breakfast items left. No cups for the coffee. No bar soap by the bathroom sink. No ice bucket in the room. Room was not cleaned when we returned the first day. Dirty towels still on the floor. Coffee was nit restocked. Bath towels were so thin they hardly dried your body after a shower.

The breakfast was terrible! We actually had to go eat somewhere else because it was that terrible. They had bought a jar of peanut butter and scooped it into little containers instead of buying prepackaged individual servings of peanut butter. There is no water. The linens weren’t very poor condition and towels had holes in them we were checked into a room that wasn’t cleaned yet and had the lug. How are belongings down three floors to the front desk again back up to four floors to get to a room that was clean without compensation the cleaning staff was very friendly and apologetic the main desk person didn’t even want to hear about helping us out compensation or an apology. The room are very paper thin walls. You can hear everybody’s TV.

No, pool, no designated outdoor area to congregate, smoke, be social either near the front or rear lobby entrance (extremely important to those who smoke or vape. Also no shade to sit and smoke or vape.)
