Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Estuve en este hotel hace diez años prometiéndome que no volvería de lo mal que me fue (entonces no pude dormir por mala climatización y por el ruido de la calle. Pero dentro de lo caro que está Palma, no he tenido más remedio que quedarme de nuevo. Y no ha cambiado. El hotel está viejuno y le falta mantenimiento. La ducha cuesta regularla un montón y apenas tiene presión. El colchón hace años que debía haberse cambiado. Está blando y se le notan los "huevos". Me despertaba con dolor de cuello de lo incómodo que es. Y el personal correcto sin más. Antes de la reserva insistí muchísimo en que quería una habitación en interior en piso alto y al llegar me tenían preparada una exterior en primera planta, que me comiera como hace diez años el ruido del tráfico de las avenidas. Para qué mirar las peticiones de los huéspedes. Y caro. Muy caro. Por mucho que toda la hostelería de Palma esté así, este hotel no vale ni mucho menos los 335 eurazos por las dos noches que estuvimos. Me sorprende que Meliá quiera asociar su marca a un sitio tan cutre.

I materassi erano vecchi e sfondati, il bagno poco funzionale, la finestra della camera non si apriva, la moquette in corridoio è piena di macchie... e nella nostra stanza avevamo anche le formiche in bagno. In generale, quattro stelle per questo hotel è piuttosto generoso.

We booked a superior room but it’s dusty, and the mattress is sagging /worn out. Didn’t sleep well because of it.

We specifically reserved a courtyard-view room — we were given a street-facing room without any prior notice or explanation. Given that the hotel is in the city center, the street noise was significant and disrupted our sleep. The room was also advertised with air conditioning. In reality, the hotel operates a centralized heating system with no individual temperature control. The room temperature was around 26°C at night — far too warm to sleep comfortably. When we raised these issues with staff during our stay, we were told the hotel was fully booked and no room change was possible. After our stay, we contacted the hotel multiple times to request a partial refund. The hotel declined, claiming all services were delivered as described — which is simply not accurate. We also involved Booking.com, unfortunately without success. If you are booking this hotel: make sure to verify your exact room type at check-in, and be aware that individual climate control is not available.

"Francie" (Francesca), front desk reservation manager, was able to upgrade me to the penthouse unit to accommodate me and my partner. My hotel suite was spectacular! The daily breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect for shopping, dining, night life and sight seeing. Francie was bilingual and extremely pleasant to me and my guest. She answered questions, ordered taxis and stored our luggage. I highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here upon my next trip to Mallorca.
