Off the highway. Good restaurants nearby.

Old property and the room smelled like an old bedroom that hadn’t been aired out. I had to lift my heavy luggage up the stairs because there was no elevator. It reminded me of an older Motel 8 from the 1990s. And it’s expensive for that type of hotel. It did have a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included, but was average.

The fee was great for a last minute booking and we had no issues. Quiet area near lots of food options

Honestly , your charging $428 a night , way outbid line for what we got , no value at all , we had to stop for work , I felt very ripped off . Won’t be back ..ever

Overall, not bad for a short stay. The room was very clean.

We experienced some inconveniences with the key cards: when we arrived, something was broken, and a staff member had to open the door for us. We received our cards in the evening, but they didn’t work the next day, so we had to go back to the front desk. The breakfasts were very basic and limited.

Si l'extérieur ne paye pas de mine, la chambre était très propre Le petit déjeuner inclus Le jacuzzi et la piscine et son toboggan étaient très appréciables Le personnel très serviable. On nous a recommandé un très bon restaurant indien.

Le prix est un peu élevé pour un motel sans doute parce que c'était en pleine saison. La salle du petit déjeuner est assez petite donc il faut faire la queue car tout le monde arrive a la même heure et il y a embouteillage

It was convenient from highway. Clean comfortable room. Easy to access with our dog. The open area outside was really nice for our pet. Quiet and comfortable.

Great value for.money. Comfortable and spacious and there was a great spread for breakdast. The staff was lovely too. Conveniently located.

We liked the proximity to Banff and that the property was safe and quiet.

It was mostly clean but there was a moldy smell coming from one of the AC units so we just kept it turned off. Also the corners of the bathroom weren’t the cleanest.

Pool and slide were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking right outside the room. Not far from the Rockies. Staff friendly and check in and out were easy.

Very expensive probably due to location. This was the most expensive place we booked on our road trip but not the best. Let down by the breakfast. Breakfast very limited.

Showere wasn’t working

Das Hotel ist absolut nordamerikanischer Standard untere Mittelklasse. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer, mit einem King und einem Queen gebucht. Man hat gesehen, dass das mal 2 Zimmer waren. Es gab auch 2 Kühlschränke und 2 TV-Geräte. Dadurch war alles sehr großzügig. Das Hotel ist definitiv in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war soweit sauber und in Ordnung. Es liegt nicht direkt am Highway, wenn auch nicht weit weg. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach, aber es gab Kaffee und eine Pancake-Maschine.

Golden selbst ist absolut trostlos. Das kann man dem Hotel zwar nicht ankreiden, aber es gibt aus unserer Sicht kaum Gründe, hier Stopp zu machen.

We didn't arrive until 9pm, so we appreciated that the hot tub & pool were open late for us to use. The breakfast was also good!

Salt water pool is nice!

Boendet var okej men inget speciellt. Barnen gillade poolen men det var lite trångt och högljutt.

Det kändes delvis lite nedgånget och frukosten var ganska enkel. Men det funkade bra.

Pancake machine was broken and no yogurt.

Il y a eu une panne de courant dans la ville après un orage et ils ont assuré le petit dej avec des groupes électrogènes . Ils ont été aussi corrects en nous annulant nos 2 dernières nuits car nous avons du partir du fait qu’il n’y avait plus de courant dans Golden avec nos 2 enfants compliqué de rester

Location is good, away from highway noise, but close enough to easaly get back on the road. Many amenities are close by.

Room was poor compare to the price we paid. Basicaly it is a cheap motel. The breakfast room is very small, got very crouded with a tour group, some guests could not find a table to seat. Breakfast items were not replenished.

I paid approx 400.00 cdn for 1 night not value for money dussapointing that a trvelodge felt like a motel. This was a extornate price for 1 night. I wont be coming here again.

Overpriced for value. Room was modernized but very damp and small for a family of four. Also the price per night is not worth the value.

La noia de l'esmorzar. Molt atenta i amable. No faltava res. L'esmorzar estava bo. La piscina amb tobogan. A més, l'horari és súper ampli. Aparques a la porta. Tens nevera.

The room was very clean with a nice odor. Coffee machine with tea and rounded coffee complimentary and very pleasant surprise. Relatively big room for four people with a good air conditioner. Beddings in good condition with a pleasant odor.

It is more like a middle grade motel instead of a hotel as we understood. Too many people for the small breakfast room some appliances are out of order in the long line in the entrance, breakfast is mostly scrambled eggs with bread and some marmalade. Windows are facing neighbors in the back yard with a lot of noise and loud music. Two floors and no elevator.

Personal am Empfang und im Frühstücksraum war steht's freundlich und positiv. Das Zimmer durchaus sauber und die Betten bequem. Auch das Badezimmer so ausgestattet das alles vorhanden war. Pool war sauber etwas in die Jahre gekommen wie die gesamte Anlage. Das Frühstück auch wenn es im Preis mit inbegriffen war hat mich nicht vom Hocker gerissen. Rührei, Pancakes und diverse Toastbrotarten dazu Marmelade oder Erdnuss Butter. Kaffee und Yogurt mehr nicht. Fußläufig sind einige Fastfood Geschäfte erreichbar in die Innenstadt mit dem Auto meist in unter 10min.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis wenn man es mit anderen Hotels vergleicht. Man zahlt sicherlich auch für die Lage und den Ort so nah an den Parks der Umgebung.

Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt gar nicht. Hotel deutlich überaltert, müsste dringend saniert werden. Pool mit Rutsche zwar toll, könnte aber sauberer sein. Zimmer hat sehr unangenehm gerochen bei Ankunft, extrem nach Reinigern.

The travelodge staff refused to provide me a receipt. Staff instructed me to contact booking.com. Booking.com then told me they are unable to provide a receipt and that it has to come from travelodge. I told travelodge all of this and they still refused

Your guest service agent at just before midnight. Made the stay memorable. She was considerate that we may have a reservation somewhere else. She called to make sure. She went above and beyond and made what could have been a stressful situation for us. Seamless.

Alles vorhanden was wir brauchten. Der Laundryroom war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war ausreichend.

Die Zimmer war etwas dunkel und machten einen etwas abgenutzten Eindruck…. Letztlich war aber alles sauber.

Didn’t end up staying here because our room was so small so we cancelled and stayed somewhere else. The staff were very understanding and refunded my money other than a $30 cleaning fee which I thought was fair.

Small rooms and was expensive for the type of motel.

Quick stop and convenient for an overnight stay with a hot shower. Wish the smoking would be located away from the doors and windows.

Room smelled from cigarettes and was not done up … had to carry all my things from second floor to the first floor.

Clean room and linens, fairly quiet at night

Expensive for 1 night stay registered after 4 pm almost 400 CAD. Room booked as pet friendly had to change room on arrival as not pet friendly. No small freezer in room fridge, travelling in summer with small cooler unable to refreeze ice bags. Typical of highway motel look out window at someones car, not mine as another car parked outside my door.

Way to overpriced, all the photos looked good but even a $90 inn is better than this, the swimming pool is okay but there is rust on the steps to the slide and the platform of the slide so maintenance isn't that good, the mattress and pillows are very hard so we had a terrible night sleep, thankfully we could leave earlier than planned. Also breakfast is nothing more than pancakes or toast so don't expect much from it. Overall, $300 for one night stay is way to much, think twice before you book a room here.

I booked a room which showed a sofa/seating area. The room was small with no sofa, the hotel couldn't accommodate what I had booked and it should not have been advertised as such

Clean. The pet rooms didn’t smell and they have GREAT dove soap!!!! Nice smelling toiletries…. Maaannn…. That’s actually really important!!!! They were so nice during check in, told us which were the good restaurants and the room was so clean with that lovely hotel smell on the bed linens. I was even going to ask how much for the pillow to take it home!! lol.

I wish there was more grass… but it’s just a wish! Oh. Loved the river/creek thing beside the hotel too!!

The hotel was clean and fairly updated. The WiFi was fast and amenities were okay. The hot tub could use more powerful jets. The complimentary breakfast was nice. I would have liked to see a meat added . Overall the location and price made this a good choice for a visit to the area.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Wir hatten etwas im Hotel vergessen und wurden schnell per WhatsApp informiert. Waren noch keine 15 Minuten unterwegs und konnten ohne großen Zeitverlust umdrehen.

Beim Frühstück war es sehr voll und zu den Stoßzeiten war es schwierig einen Platz zu finden.

Defekte Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Kinderreisebett ohne Matratze. Decken waren zu dünn und waren schmutzig. Keine Waschmaschine, obwohl angegeben. Einmalbesteck beim Frühstück, was sehr billig war und extrem viel Müll erzeugt hat. Sehr enger Essraum. Kaum Auswahl. Nur der Kaffee war gut. Grill ohne Gasflaschen sehr unbrauchbar.

there was no shampoo in the shower, it had not been filled up or even check to ensure there was. The breakfast was disappointing, they did no offer any gluten free options and the coffee was not drinkable.

The room while appearing clean, had a very weird smell. The room was small with the sink outside of the bathroom. There was three pillows on a bed for two people and they were flat and not comfortable, and the bed was creaky when you sat or moved on it. It was an uncomfortable sleep. The space seemed half heartedly updated. Appliances, furniture and bathroom fixtures seemed tired, worn and old but flooring seemed new. The breakfast area was dated and cramped, and the selection was minimal. The staff however were friendly and kind. The reviews online made this property seem better than it was.
