The breakfast was disappointing
Friendly staff and close to town centre and beach
Not much selection of food during buffet breakfast. Both coffee machines out of order so limited hot drinks available. Drain smell coming from bathroom
Great location, nice spa and pool
Was all ok
Lovely stay staff all wonderful
Water in cold taps warm:hot
It’s spa was lovely
The breakfast
Very welcoming and great facilities. Room plenty big enough and staff exceptional
The room was dusty. Bottom of the table, the chairs and corners in bathroom. Needs more attention to detail. Bed hard but bedding spotless as were the towels. Great shower I
Location
Carpet in room needs a good clean many stains
Everything the environment was amazing the staff were polite and helpful especially when I couldn't work out the AC the spa is always a must for us when we go
There are a few tiles missing of the pool floor in the spa which I caught my toe on a few times but it's nothing major
Staff very friendly and helpful great location spa was very relaxing
I have never been to a hotel that do not replenish teas and coffees in the room. Room was clean but in need of refurbishment
Place was clean and so was our room, especially our bathroom.
Will say the bed was lumpy. Couldn’t book an evening meal when we wanted.
Welcoming, professional and exceptional staff. Clean, good service, excellent restaurant.
Nothing
How we were welcomed into hotel by receptionist
Noise Sleep was awful ( didn't get much sleep ) Due to our next door customers They were up all night And slept all day ( surprise surprise) Put us off returning Porters were ment to check hotel during night shift But nothing It was so bad I had to put tissues into my ears to block out noise from room 71 unacceptable This was for 2 nights And as usual they checked out the same day as us The experience we had put us off returning
Location was great for the theatre, easy parking, clean and well maintained
Nothing at all
Average please
I expected more from a Superior Double room as the name suggests. I expected a double bed but two single beds were merged together. I expected more for the price.
The breakfast was good and up to the standard expected The staff in the dining room were smiley and welcoming
the storage in our first bedroom which unfortunately had to be left due to a leak from ceiling was really poor not even enough coat hangers
The room was big
The noise! They had an event on and the music was so loud it kept us awake for hours! Would not stay here again!
The hot showers The beautiful bathroom and room Beautiful accessories ie, pictures, big 65 TV on wall, clean walls, lights
Old, dirty and dusty furniture in the room. Padded wooden chairs and cracked old side lamps on more old bedside tables..
Clean and well accommodating
Rooms were too hot and no AC
Lovely hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean rooms
Food
Bedroom very old
We have been coming for a few years now as my family enjoy using the pool facilities and the hotel is perfect for us.
We went to re book for same time in 2027 to find out two nights now cost £1647 which is an absurd cost, so unfortunately we won’t be back.
Public areas were very nice, restaurant staff also very nice, the rooms were a good size and housekeeping every day
Room was very dated, bathroom wasn’t dirty but looks it due to age of the fixtures and fittings. I was in a boot due to fracture and was given a room that involved 2 sets of stairs after exiting lift with my luggage, thankfully a staff member was there to assist me.reception would have seen the boot but still went ahead to allocate that room. Also very abrupt man on reception when asked for the code for swimming pool snapped are you staying here in spite of me showing my key card. Relayed this to a thankfully pleasant lady on reception as I checked out and she took this on board
Great location. Spa was lovely. Staff were friendly.
Bed was to hard for my liking.
Everything was accordingly my and my family expectations, food was great, spa and pool met my expectations only because we're traveling with our 7 years old son, that we couldn't go together to spa, but we understand safety rules and restrictions. Our room and bathroom was big enough with working AC and comfy bed that we could sleep well and rest before another busy day. Definitely we want to use this one same hotel next time.
The only minus is quite complicated meal selection. If you have chosen half board option, you need to keep attention what kind of food (with appropr. tag) you decide to order. Even with a detail explanation from hotel's staff it's easy to order something what cost additional, but you only find out about it when you receive the bill. Waiter should be clear and transparent about any additional payment during order. Another things is order waiting time - in our last night ( 6-7 Sept) we're waiting 15 min for drinks, and almost 1.5h for main food what is a bit too long a specially when over 50% tables ware empty... We're trying to be patient but we've spotted that one person from neighbor table was remining 3 times to his order... However - food was great.
Nice to have a swim
Parking is a rip off it cost us £60 for one parking space because we had four motorcycles although we only used one space no understanding in reception apart from quote, you can park on the street which is free, thanks then
Very nice, clean rooms with a good size TV, supper service from staffing, very nice breakfast service, not too crowded pools
No mini fridge in room, have to pay for robe (spa hotel), did not see any additional services such as massages available, not all items in bar menu were available (cocktails)
Restraint
Room was to hot and looked out window to look at a wall and fire escape
Lovely beer garden and pool Pleasant bar and restaurant area Staff helpful
Rather odd guests staying there Drunk guests Clearly being used as social housing Strong smell of toast in bedrooms Very hot and stuffy room Inadequate ventilation
The hotel is modern and very well presented. The facilities were good (swimming pool & outside patio) The restaurant is modern and stylish. The breakfast is buffet style and the food was good with plenty of options.
The side our room was on had no lift and we were on the second floor. We managed but I would recommend for those who would struggle to request ground floor when booking.
Lovely hotel , clean and friendly
The room was right by the back door and had lots noise from people coming and going to car park and banging the door Breakfast was a bit unorganised, I ordered my gluten free toast and never got it , there was only 1 or 2 staff members in the dining room
The property was horrible and the customer service was atrocious. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to reschedule the booking I’ve got in touch with the property and they’ve accepted the change of dates however as I wasn’t in the right mindset due to what I had gone through I’ve paid for 3 nights and they’ve allowed 2 nights. I’ve tried to raise this with the manager during my stay however he didn’t even curtsy to listen and try to help with the situation I was really devastated. This has really tipped me over the edge. They gave us a room in the middle of nowhere literally in the attic. Then as if that’s not enough the hallway and rooms smelt really bad. This is not how you run a hotel.

The staff were lovely , the breakfast was excellent
The room was not one of the ones advertised and the bed was really hard. I also think having to pay £15 to park per night when your staying at the hotel was a bit much.
Room was clean and ready on-time. The bar was good and the staff very friendly. A 15 min walk to the center of town.
Our room was on top floor with no lift access having to lug up heavy bags was no fun. The SPA was in horrible condition the Sauna benches were rotten and the changing facilities just poor. The breakfast was limited with no vegetables apart from cooked tomatoes.
Friendly atmosphere. Great breakfast
No air con in room but had a fan which gave some comfort. Place looks a little tired and dated
Restaurant and bar were great. Breakfast was nice. The spa was quite small but all facilities were good and it was not crowded. All staff were very friendly
The room was a bit dated and the bed was very uncomfortable
SPA AREA WAS LOVELY AND STAFF VERY HELPFUL VERY CLEAN AND GREAT VALUE £20 per person per stay. YES PER STAY NOT PER DAY.
Staff are really kind all in all very good Stay
A bigger room would be perfect next time
Upon entry of the hotel everything reflected 4 star hotel. Indeed staff were welcoming and the foyer was pleasant. The bed and pillows were reasonably comfortable. Breakfast selection was good.
The false advertising for this hotel was extreme which showed pictures of very nice spacious rooms on Booking.Com but then our standard double room could hardly fit two adult occupants and our luggage. Not surprised they did not have a pictures of any standard doubles because they were so small. Very little surface area to put luggage contents except the bed. In the evening and mornings I had to get changed in the doorway! But worst was the housecleaning. We noticed there were used-earbuds and blood splattered tissues in the bin already. Disgusting! The bath was plastic and bath-taps were loose. The toilet holder had been placed in an up-position to stop the toilet roll from falling off! The bath sealant was wearing-thin and the decor of the whole room was tired. We also noticed the hotel corridors had quite a few room-doors with scratches and they were chipped. Not very inviting. We complained immediately about the bin via the app-portal which they provide after check-in, but nobody responded until morning with just an offer of late check-out. We couldn't stay longer and didn't want to. Wont be back.
The food was great neve and james, think that's their names great service in dining room on Saturday evening. .
On arrival reception didn't think our stay included meals thst we had to prove from email and didn't know had to to pay 30 pounds supplement because my daughters booked for a Saturday. There were a few mishaps if I am honest.
All round really good stay. Value for money, parking spaces limited, but this is very common across any hotel in Bournemouth, so it definitely not reflected poorly on hotel. Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice and quality good.
Nothing.
The breakfast was good but the main meal was dished up in a cereal bowl but was very tasty steak ale pie
Room 30 was in a very poor state not clean and needed updating with damage bathroom and a view of the fire escape
Staff were friendly and helpful . The facilities were all good
The room, the whole hotel and all the staff especially the lovely fun happy cleaner Victoria!
Facilities location room was decent
Bathroom curtain shower rail was mouldy
Food and friendly staff
Friendly staff, couldn't fault the food.
Room very outdated. £45 to park the car is horrendous when you are staying at the hotel!
All
Nothing
I like the spa facilities
I was give a room at the back that was very disappointing
Lovely and clean hotel, comfortable beds and room. Lovely bath even tho not updated. Good breakfast buffet. Close to beach. A bit far from the center of the beach activity but fine if you are up for a walk.
No views of the ocean from the ground floor so prefer to get my dinners closer to beach, with the view, so requires walking back across traffic.
Location
Quite outdated facilities needing maintenance. Limited breakfast options.
Central location for Bournemouth, good for wheelchair users. Nice relaxing bar area and comfortable beds
Convenience and friendly staff
The room was a bit warm and smelly esp the bathroom
Well located just a 10 min walk to the beach and town centre
Would be good to have a fridge in the room
The happy hour at the bar!
Only form of eggs at breakfast was scrambled and there were no mushrooms either.
Close to sea
The lobby and restaurant areas are very nice, cosy, and even being old, still nicely maintained.
The standard double room was very cramped and uncomfortable. Due to the limited space, you had to almost step into the bath before you could close the door into bathroom. The room looked old and poorly maintained, and generally looked very tired. Not talking about the issues with the room lock, which worked every other time. Unfortunately, the bed and mattress were also old and worn off, which didn't contribute to a cosy and comfortable night stay.
Location is great. Swimming pool is good. Staff were friendly.
Could have done with a fridge in the room as had children with us. Another mirror in a family room would have been helpful rather than just 1 small one in the bathroom! Had to pay 2 lots of car parking which made our stay quite a bit more expensive. Have stayed in lots of hotels where parking is free!
Location was superb
Very clean and friendly staff.
Good location
Had a live band and Disco on Friday night But had booked as had a early start Up at 4am
We liked the location and the staff were friendly and polite.
We had a rather unpleasant stay. There was blood in the bath. There wasn't any spare sockets to charge phone or put the provided fan on. We stayed in the family room 102, the kids are in a sperate room which is fine however they are in the room next to the main door that has no chain on it and could easily open and leave if they wanted too!The roof started leaking rain water over my daughter at 3am while she slept and that caused us all to be up in the middle of the night to drag her bed out into the middle of the room and move other furniture around. We had to put the bin under the leak to collect the water. Not the best night sleep!!! The breakfast was extremely expensive for what it was, very soggy and mushy food. Just overall awful and a waste of money.
The breakfast was great. Unfortunately the room didn't have air conditioning and it was very hot when we stayed, but the rest of our stay was great. The spa area is very good, with a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, aromatherapy room and relaxation room.
We would have preferred to have an air-conditioned room, but we didn't know it was going to be so hot, so didn't book that type of room. Will know for next time.
Location to beach and town centre, friendly and helpful staff.
No air conditioning
Great staff location was great facilities great lovely breakfast
Room bit dated step into bathroom was a nuisance trip hazard
Room, staff, location
paying for parking
Really liked the hotel, staff were helpful. Breakfast was good
The only disappointment was we originally booked this hotel due to the spa facilities & treatments that were available. However its only when we got nearer to the date of our booking & we were looking to book treatments we found out there were no treatments available. So that was a real shame but the hotel itself was really nice.
Location, facilities and friendly staff
Room was hot as no ducted air con. Cleanliness could be improved generally
The location was near to beach and shops, the room was clean, the food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were all polite and helpful.
The bedroom was too hot so it was impossible to sleep, there was 1 window which opened about 2 inches, there were 2 fans in the room so I think they know it’s too hot, there was instructions on how to use the air con but there was no air con, no hair dryer or fridge in the room and too many hidden charges which makes it so much more expensive, parking is £15 a day, to use the spa which is basically a small swimming pool and jacuzzi it’s £20 for the stay, and then £5 for a robe, but no slippers. Our room was right next to the entrance door so it was very noisy as other guests didn’t even try and be quiet.
The hotel was amazing. Very clean Rooms was really big lots of room. Good size bathroom. And it was spotless. Food was 5* We will definitely be back.
No faults at all.
Pool and friendly staff
Room very warm and a bit grubby
The staff were very nice and helpful
I was expecting more about the spa facilities and didn’t like that there weee no air conditioner
The staff were wonderful and very attentive. The spa facilities were great - the temperature of the sauna, steam and jacuzzi was great but the pool could have done with some maintenance (there were missing tiles and grime along the walls. The location was perfect as it was in a quieter area of Bournemouth - within walking distance to beach and town centre. We really appreciated that they had iced water drinking stations at reception and within the restaurant so we could serve ourselves - these were refilled constantly!
The older rooms have no central AC, even though the hotel provided a portable mini AC it was not enough to keep us cool during the English heatwave - on top of this, the windows had safety latches on them so they couldn't be opened fully for airflow. The water pressure in the rooms was poor and only one shower in the spa changing rooms. The breakfast was also very lacklustre - typical full english but little options for vegetarians or vegans.
Friendly staff good food menu lovely pool & outdoor seating area
No air con in room
Breakfast was good
Very helpful staff and a very friendly atmosphere for an amazing break thanks
The reception area was very nice and cosy
The hotel room was so hot. No air conditioned
Location
No fridge in the deluxe room
The pool
Yhe room was really hot and was dirty
Location and staff
No cold water coming from the taps. A portable aircon unit and fan were provided but quite noisy
The
The food was very nice the staff was very polite it was nice to have a swimming pool unfortunately it was far too hot
I was very happy with the service and what we had until the last day when around about the 6:45 I was woken up by a van pulling oven an inch of my window because we was in the ground floor and there was no space for it to park but they parked there then they started unloading and they carried on banging and making lots of noise pretty much until about 8 o'clock when I reported it to reception i will add a picture to show you also be nice to have more plug sockets close to the bed so we didn't have to stretch wires or sit at the desk to use our laptops sometimes people like to be comfortable on their bed and use a laptop so having some plugs on the sideboard would be great
Great staff. Fab facilities. Wonderful location. Just 10 minutes to the beach
Nothing I did not like
Breakfast was good , swimming pool was good
Found the receptionist’s not very friendly, no welcome or hope you enjoyed your stay , kids beds were a little small especially for a teenager
The outside area
The room, no aircon and very old and grubby
Friendly helpful staff , great pool and spa . Decent breakfast .
All good
We had travelled from Scotland and so had left in the early hours of that morning so were very tired by mid afternoon. The lady on reception checked at 2pm and our room was ready so she checked us in a bit early. We really appreciated that! I was also very glad I had booked a room with air conditioning. The temperatures were so warm we were really pleased we were able to sleep. The half board option was great for our trip. The menu had a good selection to choose from.
It was quite noisy at times in the bar/dining area as the hotel was quite full of families with children. The traffic was also a bit noisy when we were sat out in the garden. It was not bad enough to stop us being in either of the areas.
Entrance was bright snd clean with lights on the large plants at the door. The upstairs pool was warm, clean changing area and bright. Garden area attractive .
The carpets were dirty threadbare and needed replacing . Our standard room was very dreary, poor lighting small and uninviting . . The bed was actually clean and comfortable . The bathroom was old with a small shower head over the bath . It was tucked away on the ground floor with no view . ( car park)
Grubby. Crappy room.
Too old. Facilities dated.
The room was very spacious for 4 people. Reception & bar staff were very friendly & helpful. The pool was amazing, very clean & warm. Would definitely come back & recommended to others.

Facilities
The rooms where too hot
The staffs were friendly
The rooms were hot, no air conditioner
The staff were friendly
The rooms were hot and no air conditioning
The lunch was very nice
The room wasn’t like the photos and wasn’t really what i expected. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and it all felt a little underwhelming.
The location
The room was not worth the price . The room was boiling hot with a fan that did not work . The room and bathroom were dated . Far below the price charged
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice. Parking was easy and the hotel wasn't too far from the sea front.
I booked 2 rooms. 1 was unbearably hot but because the windows only open slightly due to safety locks you couldn't get enough air in, even with a fan in the room. The beds weren't very comfortable, they needed new mattresses or turning as you fell to one side(the side you got out) .
The hotel is in many ways a straightforward, reasonable option, among many other similar options in the area. A little tired here and there, but with obvious ongoing investment and good leisure facilities making it appear fair value for money.
The carpark entrance had a damaged kerbstone, impossible to see on turning in, which caught two wheels of my car; I spoke to others in the carpark who had caught the stone too, earlier in the day. I mentioned this at reception around 6pm and was advised that Maintenance would look at it the next day. My overnight parking was charged at 15 pounds, rather than the 10 pounds quoted in my booking. I was advised prices had risen on my arrival day; this was resolved as I complained. I observed public parking available 50 metres away at 6 pounds for 24hrs. The air con instructions in my room were unclear - I took them to reception and asked for guidance. I was advised that the room did not have air con, because it was a standard double. Windows were restricted to minimal opening, on a heatwave day. I notified reception of a rotting rat carcass outside the hotel entrance, with a response of 'sorry about that'. The rat was still there when I left the next afternoon.
Issue with room was quickly remedied.
No fresh fruit/fruit salad options at breakfast.
The property was very nice, clean, and comfortable. I really liked the facilities and enjoyed my stay.
The room was far too hot, which made it uncomfortable, especially when sleeping. The place itself is really nice and has great facilities, but the room was disappointing because of the heat. I hope they will consider upgrading all the rooms with air conditioning, as this would make the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.
