The staff were very welcoming,helpful and knowledgeable and the location perfect.

The not all the items on the hot plate were hot but tepid, mainly caused by the fact that the heat lamps hang low and obstruct lifting the container lids so guests were leaving them raised letting out the heat.

The breakfast was very good, the staff were very helpful, the bedroom was very good.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that I didn’t realise how hilly it was there and I had a job with walking.

Nice room, good size, tea & coffee making facilities a plus. Also good size bathroom with walk in shower. Novel idea about saving £5 to spend on snacks or bar, if you don't have the room cleaned on your stay, as we only stayed 2 nights we did that. There was a good fitness centre for guests and a fairly good choice for breakfast. Parking facilities right below the hotel was really convenient, and being able to drop passengers and luggage at the drop off point near the entrance was really helpful. Also having a section of around 20 EV chargers was a welcome sight as an EV driver!

The only small issue was the shower-head, I'd suggest changing it for one with a wider and better distribution of water. Parking charges at £13.50 per night seemed a little high.

The room, breakfast and staff were all lovely. I did not realise the hotel was located on a hill. This was not expected so my 93 year old mum had a bit more exercise than she wanted :) Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, it was an excellent stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good. The only downside for me was the walk back to the hotel, as it is uphill and can be a little tiring. Apart from that, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel

Hotel up on a hill,not great if you have mobility issues.

The location was reasonably convenient.

The room was uncomfortable and the facilities were very limited. There was no refrigerator in the room, and the window could not be opened, making it impossible to let in fresh air or ventilate the room naturally. The blankets also did not feel sufficiently clean or fresh. Overall, the standard was well below what I expected from a Hampton by Hilton, particularly considering the price.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the helpful. Enjoyed the walks to the beach, convenient. Close to restaurants etc.

The room had a damp smell from the carpet when we arrived; had to keep our door open for a while. I did not like the parking arrangement, having to walk out, up and down the stairs to the car and back; also parking spaces are small especially those next to the pillars.

• staff a bit useless, didn’t seem to know much about the car park (was told I needed to vacate the car park by 3pm which wasn’t true, the parking charge seems to last 24hours from paying, so for me 7/8pm) • breakfast a bit naff - the vegetarian sausages had an odd taste and look to them, is it really that difficult to use a good veggie brand? I would stay again but I’m having second thoughts as I’m forced into paying for the breakfast as part of the room price. Should make breakfast optional add-on.

Bar food choices a little limited but what I had was lovely.

Only stayed 1 night at the Hampton by Hilton in Bournemouth but would have gladly stayed for longer as it's a super hotel in a great location with clean bedrooms, comfortable beds and lovely staff. Checking in was speedy and done with a smile, everything was explained to me and up in my room in no time. The room looks like it has been recently refreshed and showed no sign of being over 10 year's old. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and everything looked spotlessly clean and tidy. Soundproofing was excellent as were the blackout blinds so slept like a log. Wifi was pretty good & easy to connect. The wardrobe was a good size and with a luggage rack, hairdryer and ironing board. There was also a kettle to make tea/coffee as well as a desk area. What I also liked about the room was the amount of space you had, it was generously proportioned and felt light and airy. There was a small crane your neck and you could just about see the sea view from the room too. The bathroom was fine, the shower was easy to use and choice of shower gel, shampoo & conditioners in the dispensers fixed to the wall and plenty of towels. Decent amount of counter space around the sink but the shaver point was a little hard to reach under the mirror. Unlike Hampton hotels in the US, the breakfast here was 100% better. Good choice of scrambled egg, hash browns, beans, quite tasty sausages but sadly over baked bacon. There was cereal, fruit, yogurts, cold meat and cheese as well as bread to toast, croissants and a waffle maker, tea & coffee and juice. Everything was being checked and topped up when necessary by the team. Plates were constantly been cleared away once people and finished breakfast and cleaned ready for the next person to sit down and start their day. I was quite impressed by the food offering and the staff looking after the buffet - 10/10 The lobby area had some lovely seaside-themed artwork and felt quite relaxing and a nice place to have a drink and unwind. There is a secure car park underneath the hotel (£15.50 at the w/e) Remember to keep your ticket with you as you need the QR code to enter the car park the next morning. If you stayed for 2 nights or more you could decline housekeeping and get a £5 voucher to use at the bar or pay towards some snacks. Considering some Premier Inn hotels in Bournemouth cost the same price as the Hampton, they do not offer a free breakfast buffet so I would definitely recommend staying here over a Premier Inn, it's a no-brainer - I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did !

Breakfast was good. The selection offer was impressive. The food quality was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The staff were friendly and efficient in my view.

Around in Bournemouth for 2 nights relaxing and enjoying the summer, from the moment I arrived, Victor at reception stood out as exactly the kind of person every hotel needs. Extremely helpful, genuinely friendly, and always ready to assist, he brings a level of professionalism and warmth that is not easy to find. Working in hospitality myself, I truly appreciate the difference someone like him makes. The room (104) was clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely view. The temperature was easy to adjust, and everything felt welcoming and well prepared. In the morning, the reception team continued the same high standard. Chantelle, Leila, and Hollie were exceptionally kind, smiling, and very inviting, the perfect start to the day. Breakfast good as a classic full English breakfast . Overall, a wonderful experience supported by an outstanding reception team. Thanks to Victor Leila, Hollie Highly recommended.

Had a lovely relaxing stay. The lady and gent that checked us in were very chatty and friendly. We had drinks at the bar one night and they were served with a smile and some helpful advice on where to eat. Breakfast was good.

The location was good, and it was easy to reach the city center and the beach. The breakfast was enough.

I noticed that there are no slippers in the room. I believe they should be provided. Also, there is no window to open or a balcony, so our towels and swimsuits can't dry.

Lovely staff and excellent value for money. Big comfortable beds, good aircon, good breakfast on the house - all the basics done really well. Let us check in earlier as well.

We’re aware that the secure parking is not under your control but there’s no signage to direct one to the hotel/hotels. There was someone experiencing difficulty every time we went to the pedestrian gate to enter. One person had charged his electric car but couldn’t remove the cable from his car. He had to leave his car there for three days until someone had sorted the problem.

We were given a disabled room. When we questioned the staff they said we had requested a disabled room but we definitely didn’t. I showed my booking confirmation to verify this.

Very disappointing customer service. I’m not sure whether this hotel is struggling with bookings, but refusing a refund for an honest mistake is unbelievable. I didn’t change my mind about staying, I accidentally selected September instead of June when making the booking. I even travelled to the hotel with my 2-month-old baby during one of the hottest days of the year, only to discover that my reservation was for September. The reception staff confirmed they had no availability for the dates I actually needed and suggested I contact Booking.com to request a refund. The hotel refused the refund without any understanding or compassion. I then tried to compromise by asking to change my stay to 5–7 July, when rooms were still available, but the hotel didn’t even respond. The complete lack of flexibility, communication, and customer care has been extremely disappointing. Honest mistakes can happen, and I expected far better service than this.

The air conditioning was very good and the bar area extremely comfortable. Our room was on the third floor but the lifts are well set up. The room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast on both mornings which had a very good selection and was well presented. All the staff were extremely professional but very friendly which was really nice. The only issue we had was the hotel is positioned on a steep hill which, as it was so hot, we were restricted with walking any distance. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Set aside that the bedroom telephone was missing, the television had "No Signal", the desk lamp didn't work and the bedroom had no natural ventilation, the star of this hotel is the guy who gets there at 5am and sets out/cooks breakfast. The layout was brilliant and a credit to his hard work and meticulousness

we have stayed here a few times now and would stay here again when visiting bournemouth. The location is nice, quiet yet still a good location for everything. Rooms are nice, a good size and very well looked after.

We notice this time the breakfast buffet was not as good. The food had been left out abit too long some of it was dried out of luke warm. When it was topped up the fresh food it was put on top of the food which had been put out earlier

Lovely welcoming and helpful staff to greet us when we arrived. Modern building which was clean. Great size rooms and lovely shower.

Hotel was immaculately clean and spotless both in the public areas and in our room. All the staff that we encountered were very professional and attentive. Location was fairly central with easy walks to the centre, close by the beautiful gardens and not too far to the beach. Also for bus travellers the services were either close to the hotel or in the town centre even allowing for the major on-going road repairs. The various coastal day trips were excellent aided by the frequent bus services.

Nothing really springs to mind. Maybe the room could have done with more hooks1. another in the bathroom to hang a second towel and 2. in the area adjacent to the bathroom but that's being picky.

Friendly and helpful reception team. They helped when we faced a parking issue and arranged an additional layer for the sofa bed.

The central locatiom, secure car park.and spacious comfortable room were ideal for our needs. The buffet breakfast choice was very good too

The underground car park has no direct access to the hotel reception. You have to go back to the street then have a short uphill walk. Worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues.

The beds were not comfortable. The breakfast was week. The bath was very slippy and dangerous. I could not go barfeet.

Booked in for one night to go to a show at the nearby Bournemouth International Centre whish is about a 10 minute walk. No complaints about the location and there is a 'Food Hub' across the street at the rear of the Odeon cinema featuring a number of well known chains so you won't go hungry. The staff were friendly and our room clean, quiet and spacious with an accessible shower as requested. The buffet breakfast was also good with a wide choice of food available although fried eggs would have been good rather than the horrible tasteless scrambled egg many hotels now serve up. If you have mobility issues you need to be aware that the secure underground car park does not have direct access to the hotel reception. You need to go back into the street and walk up a short but steep slope to get to the hotel entrance.

Our experience at The Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth was brilliant the hotel was clean bright and was a comfortable accommodation. The staff was friendly and I would say they highly accommodate and regularly go out of their way to ensure a pleasant check-in. The self-service hot breakfast with a great variety was brilliant, (featuring a waffle station). Thank you very much to the staff they all were amazing. I would highly recommend it.
