Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They really made me feel welcomed, made me tea while I waited for a room upgrade and were super speedy getting my room ready! Would recommend:)

Die Lage nahe dem "Hoe", also dem Hügel der Denkmäler und der Aussicht auf das Meer, ist sehr gut. Das ältere schmale Haus wird schrittweise modernisiert. Die Einrichtung reicht von ältlich, aber angenehm, im Frühstücksbereich bis zu überwiegend neuer Ausstattung im Zimmer, aber der Platz ist sehr begrenzt. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Innenstadt ist von hier gut zu erlaufen (15 Min.). Die lokale Parkregelung mit Anwohnerrabatt erlaubte uns, unser Mietauto nahebei zu parken (GBP 9 pro Tag). Die Betreiber waren nett.

Die Verkehrsausschilderung in Plymouth ist unzureichend. Wir habe nur nach "The Hoe" gesucht und unser Ziel letztendlich gefunden. Die Modernisierung im Haus brachte uns eine Dusche, deren Regelung wir nicht erschlossen und verstanden. Die Betreiber sollten die Gäste kurz darin einweisen. Check-in ist erst ab 17h. Wir hätten, nachdem wir früher in Plymouth ankamen, eine Zusatzgebühr für "vorzeitigen Check-in" zahlen müssen und zogen es vor, einstweilen spazieren zu gehen.

The location was very convenient, especially walking in from the ferry. It’s a great spot to explore the city by foot. The room was cozy and clean, with a host of info about the surroundings. The hosts were very welcoming and they even upgraded me to a nicer room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I was even allowed to leave my bags after checkout. Overall a lovely experience!

There was a bit of construction going on as I was staying, with some people coming in and out of the house. It was not a problem overall and even turned out handy as I was struggling to get someone to answer the doorbell.

Diese nette Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war so liebevoll, zweckmäßig und schön ausgestattet. Das Bad war super schön, man hätte gerne länger geduscht, oder sich dort aufgehalten. Das Esszimmer war überaus schön gestaltet. Man hat sich so sehr wohl gefühlt.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon passage chez The Firs B&B. L'emplacement est idéal pour le tourisme proche de The Hoe et du quartier Barbican ; la chambre était très confortable, le quartier très calme et les petits déjeuners délicieux. L'accueil de Dan & Izabella a été adorable et très chaleureux, je n'aurai pas pu trouver meilleure place pour mon petit trip de deux jours. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse !!

Breakfast gorgeous , people that owned hotel were excellent hosts so Loveiy and kind and they upgraded me to a double room too. Dan even gave me lift to town on my leaving day at a small charge . The view was Loveiy and it was a comfortable hotel . A very good stay I would say would recommend

A gem in the making. The B&B is being renovated by the new owners, a lovely couple who are pouring their heart into it, and it shows. The room was large and nicely decorated, the bed very comfy. WIFI good for remote work. The shared bathroom and the rest of the house was spotless clean. It was a bonus to have a cooked breakfast included. The house is 2 minutes from the water front, with nice walks, restaurants and a great view. Really good value for money. Highly recommended.

La casa muy ruidosa. Vieja. Las puertas mal construidas. Me encontré al dueño de noche en la oscuridad de la escalera cuando fui al baño. Parecía que me estaba esperando. Me asustó. No dormí nada bien. Porque además.mi puerta arriba solo tenía un cojín! Había perchas de carnicero en la habitación y debajo un banco de iglesia. Eso.por la noche daba yuyu.

room was clean bed was very big and comfortable.down side one small wardrobe shower on small side and as for tea making had to asked for more milk twice as room was not serviced.Breakfast ok plenty of choice nice toaster but last day brekkie bit greasy.But overall ok hosts and a great location pub just up the road nice and big and chippy just round corner.

Owners were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. They looked after our dog while we were for a swim and messaged us to say he was ok. They made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was superb and we look forward staying there again if we return to Plymouth. Superb location a 2min walk from the seafront.

Everything was great.

Room was really great, lovely big comfortable bed, furniture was lovely and the room beautifully decorated. Hosts were super friendly, I believe they hadn't long owned it and you could see they were dedicated to making it welcoming for guests. We will defiantly stay again.

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer und Badezimmer waren groß und ansprechend eingerichtet. Auch das Bett hatte eine tolle Größe. Für das Parken in der Straße zahlt man extra. Einen Platz zu bekommen war für uns kein großes Problem.

Perfect location for our needs

I had a great stay here. The hosts were very friendly and you can see they are working very hard to give their guests the best possible experience. The room was very comfortable (thank you for the free upgrade) and clean, breakfast was tasty and it was incredibly good value for money. Also a great location. Don’t expect five stars and the check in is a bit later than usual but it was fine for me.

The room was stunning, with a lovely, calming décor. It was spotlessly clean, had a modern bathroom, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Exceeded my expectations. It really did feel like a home away from home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect spot, very convenient, friendly, wonderful cooked English breakfast included, easy check-in/out, comfortable bedding with large windows and adjustable blinds. Cute "have a beeautiful day" placard on bedside table.

Shared bathroom could have been cleaner- please provide a toilet brush so other guests can clean up after themselves. Also needs to have some products provided eg soap at least in there rather than (or as well as) in the individual rooms- private basin was helpful for toothbrushing and contact lenses though.

Room was small, no towels, toilet is downstairs, property is still under repair, didn’t sleep well. Location is not accessible to buses, you need a car ot taxi and no parking. However, owner provided a discounted parking for 24 hours for £9

The owners of the Bed and Breakfast were very welcoming, very nice people they couldn't do enough for us, the shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable and a good size, and the location was excellent. which was really welcoming. we would most definitely visit that bed and breakfast again on our way to Spain.

The hot water tap didn't work properly. It trickled, so I couldn't have a proper shave. The shower was excellent.

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of fresh food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

So cozy and felt so looked after by the lovely Izabella! She had great recommendations and was so attentive. It was a heatwave and the room stayed cool and the street is quiet - the location was great as short walk to the lido!

Parking was not easy.

The room, whilst small, was very clean and well organised. It was in very good condition and the shower was a joy. The 'full English breakfast' was excellent and freshly cooked. The owners have had the property for about 6 months and are busy working their way through renovations to ensure that the whole building ends up at the standard they wish it to be. They are hard working and enthusiastic and I wish them all the success they deserve.

whilst I travelled by train and taxi to the hotel, had I arrived by car, parking is a bit restricted, although some can be made available by the owners.

The accommodation was really nice, clean and comfortable, with absolutely amazing hosts who made our visit very smooth and enjoyable. The breskfast was always freshly and tastily cooked and nicely served. We would stay again if we were to come back to Plymouth

It may be a bit far from the bus stop for people with special needs, otherwise the location is fantastic, and we were really greatful for Dan, the host, to meet us when our train had arrived late at night.

Posizione centrale, a piedi si fa un bel giro per il centro. Lungo la strada c'è parcheggio a pagamento, utile se si arriva con la macchina. Proprietari molto cordiali e simpatici, camera di ottime dimensioni, ordinata e pulita, con tutto il necessario.

Colazione continentale un po' base ma va benissimo per una notte.

The Firs B&B hat eine sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Parken ist kein Problem und man kann Plymouth ohne Probleme zu Fuß erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich bemüht, hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend im Firs B&B. Die Zimmer und das Haus sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist an jedes Detail gedacht und es fehlt an nichts. Betten waren sehr bequem und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und reichhaltig. Alle unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt.

The owners were very lovely and spoke Polish too which was useful.I had plans early in the morning so Ieft at 7am but the owners let me leave my bag and come back for it later in the afternoon which was really helpful thank you!! I also got upgraded to a double bed room which was nice. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. It was also really easy to use the shower and regulate the temperature.The location is perfect, the WIFI was also great. I would definitely stay here again the atmosphere was lovely.

Can’t complain,despite some decorative work going on,the noise was kept to a minimum.I travelled down to attend a funeral and the Firs was the perfect place to stay.Would recommend

Both Dan and Izabella were very welcoming and friendly from arrival till departure. The room was spotlessly clean, bed was huge and very comfortable and en suite with shower was an added bonus. Top it off with an excellent breakfast every morning. Would highly recommend this guest house to everyone. Thank you Dan and Izabella for a great weekend.
