Olive was an amazing host. Kind, considerate and funny. My room was perfect. Comfy bed, hot shower and quiet.. location was walking distance to everything I needed.

We arrived very tired from ferry port by bicycle late evening and the welcome was amazing and just what we needed.

Breakfast not brilliant- fruit unimaginative and bread etc very average. No cooked options which in itselfcis not a problem but then the quality of tge rest needs to be good.

Bed was rather a small double for 2 sharing.

Breakfast was plentiful and was had a surprising number of vegan options. Very relaxed and was lovely meeting other guests around the table. Host was incredibly accomodating and very friendly. Clean room and comfortabel bed. There was a great fan in my room as I stayed during a heat wave, made it extra comfortable.

Absolutely cozy room decor and comfortable mattress, stuff there is super nice!!

The room was ok to sleep in and kept well maintained. Plenty of water for drinking in the room. Olive the landlady was always attentive with guests and asked if I needed anything doing in my room.

The noise coming from a nearby establishment overnight even though I think it was out of the property's control.

- the owner, Olive, is an absolute delight. A very warm and welcoming Lady, with an amazing life experience -the room was comfortable and well equipped. All seemed clean -breakfast was tasty -easy to reach all major destinations in Plymouth on foot - we felt overall really welcome and safe in this hotel

Nothing to say here. It is a more traditional British design, so nothing modern or flash, but a cozy bed and breakfast with a relaxed vibe.

The location was brilliant, the host Olive was very welcoming, her knowledge of Plymouth was incredible and we felt at home for the five nights.

Everything. All is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the rooms are decorated in such a lovely way. This is the first place I'm going to check for availability next time I'll have to be in Plymouth. It was so nice to meet the host, thank you for everything dear Olive!

Maybe the light in my room was a bit too dim, but I had the light on my bedside table that was more than enough!

Was well situated easy walking distance to thHoe and Barbican .and plymouth Town .Olive the propieter was very help full and couldnt do enough for you felt like home from home. My party of 4 loved it . THE ACCOMODATIN WAS EXCELLENT 2 double rooms and continental breakfast self serve fabulous nothing was too much trouble for propieter Olive and her family Jen and Jack well worth a visit we were 2 couples and stayed a week .we can thouroughly recommend this guest house .

A warm welcome , given a ground floor room as my wife has mobility issues . A well equipped smallish room but was quiet at night . An excellent beakfast was offered and special dietary needs catered for. Overall an excellent experience .

Apparently parking can be expensive but we had been able to park elsewhere .

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut Olive und ihren Sohn Jack kennenzulernen. Sie waren sehr freundliche, aufmerksame, höfliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder!

The weather - unusual for June we had gales and rain but given lots of advice and assistance.

The Mariners Guest House is a truly wonderful place to stay, with a very personal and friendly atmosphere that makes it a real pleasure to be there. For me, it was one of the few truly exceptional experiences I had during my trip, and I would recommend it without reservation.

Great host, communicative all across the board and very much accommodating to our needs. The location was spectacular, close to the promenade and various pubs. Lovely breakfast too.

The amenities are quite old and the room was hot in the heatwave (could use some AC or fans in the rooms)

Camera mare, foarte comfortabila, cu facilitati de cafea/ ceai, lapte si biscuiti. Doamna propietara ne-a oferit un mic dejun foarte bun, cu produse de patiserie, unt, gem, paine prajita, lapte + cereale, sucuri, cafea /ceai. Ne-am simtit excelent in compania ei, dorim sa revenim!

Good location - close to bus routes and railway station only a 15-20 minute walk away. The host is happy to book a taxi for customers if required. Continental breakfast - cereal, pastries, toast, fruit etc all available and plentiful. A quiet, clean, single en-suite room - no noise at all. Comfortable bed, decent bathroom/shower. No complaints from me.

Everything we were advised was as expected and was good.

There is no mention on Booking.com that a cooked breakfast is available as an extra, and this was not shown as an option, so it was a surprise when fellow guests were served cooked breakfasts.

The property is closely located to the centre. Easily accessible. The property was very tidy and had all the facilities. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

We booked this accommodation on short notice. Olive (Owner) was so helpful and very prompt to responding to any questions. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and walking distance to a lovely pub for a drinks and eats. Parking is very easy, just check with Olive beforehand.

We had a lovely welcome from Olive and the rooms were really comfortable. The guesthouse is situated in a very convenient location, close to many of the lovely things to see in Plymouth. I would certainly recommend the Mnariners.

Great location close to the Hoe front which has a wealth of good restaurants. Olive is a delightful hostess and nothing was too much for her. Olive gave us the opportunity of a free upgrade which we took. Very clean rooms and friendly staff

All good but our room was at the very top of the building and there was not a lot of water pressure for showers. We have stayed here before on the lower floors and this was not an issue then

The guest house is in easy walking distance of the city centre. It is good value, especially as a continental beakfast is included. My room is described as small, which it is, but it's fine for a short stay. It is clean and quiet. The owner was friendly and very helpful.

Olive was a lovely, friendly and excellent host! Rooms were cute but rather small.

There was no hangers for the towels in our bathroom and had no place to put them. Breakfast was good but there was no savory food, like eggs or cheese!

Las instalaciones, servicios, ubicación, etc son importantes para mí, pero nada es más importante que ser recibido cálidamente. En Mariners Guest house tuvimos éso desde el momento de la reserva. Jack estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades al llegar y la amabilidad de Olive durante toda la estadía es algo muy destacable. Altamente recomendable

Mariners is in a great location for Central Plymouth, The Hoe and The Barbican but still in a quiet area. It's clean and cosy, good value and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

The guest house is in a quiet location, and is easy to reach by bus from central Plymouth. It is close to Plymouth Hoe but the old town is further away perhaps 20 or 30 minutes on foot. There were several coffee bars and restaurants nearby but I didn't find any shops on the vicinity. The room I had was comfortable and clean with en suite facilities. There was a good variety of things to eat for breakfast. The owner and staff (it's family run) were very pleasant and helpful. I'd certainly consider staying there again if I'm in Plymouth.
