No poached eggs!!! Very greasy breakfast! Party on until 2330, was told the music would be off at 2300. was not told about the party, finally got to sleep at 1 am then to be woken by 15 second fire alarm blast at 2am, 8am and 8.10am!

Loved the walks nearby. Staff were really friendly

I was not expecting the high quality, the room and the shower room was one of the cleanest I have been to I can not complain about anything and the breakfast with a discount was amazing full English done to perfection, keep it up I would stay there again and recommend this hotel..

The bedroom was filthy, the air-conditioning unit in the room leaked all night long and the beds were uncomfortable, also wasnt a king size bed but 2 small beds bolted together

Arrived at the hotel had plenty of parking, when we entered someone was waiting at reception. the hotel is a nice area with nice views and no road noise.

The room had 2 single beds pushed together so the centre had a very hard seem as a couple unable to lay near the middle. As much as we was in the middle of the hotel the wifi kept dropping out wasnt a major issue but annoying when watching the football so turned wifi off. If we was on a night out the breakfast would of been ok but for a business trip a full english breakfast that was so greasy left a swimming pool under the bacon.

The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Friendly, helpful staff, good service. Clean. We opted for breakfast - it was a good cooked breakfast with choice of eggs & basic continental selection. Free parking, plenty of spaces when we were there. No hairdryer in the room but I called reception & one was brought up straight away.

No frills, not a picture on the wall etc - nothing to soften it - a little soulless. No lift with steep stairs up to the third floor.

It was really easy to find, accessible and ample parking. Staff were really friendly

The bed was not a double it was two singles pushed together. The piping around the edges of the mattresses in the middle were extremely uncomfortable. The noise travelled through rooms being woken by drunken guests early hours and again by someone departing at 4am

It was very handy for the A40. The staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly.

The beds were very soft. We were given a room with an interconnecting door which provided no soundproofing. We could hear literally every word being said next door!

It was in a nice quiet location, with plenty of free parking available! The reception area was very welcoming and modern. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for our short one night stay. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. It was excellent value for money!

There wasn’t anything I would say I disliked, however, the hallways leading to the rooms were very dated in comparison to the first appearance. The restaurant wasn’t easily accessible/advertised/didn’t appear welcoming, so we didn’t eat during our stay, we travelled somewhere else. However, we were keen to explore the local area anyway. The air conditioning was on when we arrived so the room was very cold, but this was easily warmed up changing to heating.

I booked for a double room, but I was shocked to get two single beds joined together. The double room was for myself and my wife. I am not a small man to sleep on a single bed and having a border line in between. Had a very uncomfortable night, sorry. Then I was given a room next to the main door, which did not have a stopper. People walking in and out banging the doors. The floor was wooden, very annoying when people were walking.

Loved the holiday-abroad-feel. The property is well maintained and beautifully laid out. My room was neat and tidy, no disturbances, decent shower and bath with high speed water flow, bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience that holiday abroad feeling.

Spotlessly clean. Great to have air conditioning in room. Bed comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Good coffee machine at breakfast, made lovely cappuccino! Staff were extremely polite and friendly and very helpful. There is plenty of parking available.

There was no hair dryer in the room - most hotels these days have them in the rooms. There was an old ironing board in the room, but no iron! Would have liked bigger complimentary toiletries, there were two tiny bottles 1 shampoo and 1 shower gel (enough for one person for 1 night, but we stayed for 2 nights so good job I brought our own).

A nice hotel that is easily accessible in Kenilworth with spacious rooms, good amenities. The bar and restaurant area are spacious, also separate. Nice big windows to bring in light. Good breakfast and very helpful staff.

Reasonably priced. Clean. Good location. Friendly staff. Food was good price and okay.

Bed not made. No iron or fridge in room. Although an iron and board was bought to us when we asked. No toilet brush.

Rather large, cavernous hotel somewhat lacking in atmosphere. Rooms pretty basic.

Pleasant staff. Generally nice hotel. Plenty of free parking. Cooked breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.

Room 203 had 2 ceiling corners occupied by cobwebs and spiders and a cobweb dangling from one of the spotlights. TV didn't work. Double socket didn't work. Couldn't cool the shower temperature initially. Small pillows. Not really good enough lighting to read in bed.

Our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests. I complained to Reception who were very apologetic and said they would get it cleaned whilst we were out for the day. When we returned we were so disappointed to find the bathroom Still hadn’t been cleaned . The cleaner had been into the room, changed the towels that are kept in the bedroom and then put the plastic gloves that they were wearing into the already full Bin in the bathroom- this was full from The previous guests as we hadn’t used it- the blue gloves were hanging out of the bathroom bin.

Albert made our unexpected stay great. No one works as hard as Albert and he always seemed to be in 3 places at once. I think the first night he may have been the only member of staff.

Not necessarily didn’t like but the bar could have had a couple of ales on draft. That was the only very minor niggle.

Very quick overnight stay for nearby championships following day. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Rooms very clean and looked refurbished. The food was exceptional value, absolutely delicious. 9.95 huge scampi and chips etc. Highly recommended. Thanks guys

Some parts dated,carpets.General maintenance ie bathroom door would not shut without pushing firmly. Some lights did not work,ironing board but no iron,no hairdryer,minimal teabags/coffee in room,bar understaffed so had to wait to be served or look for staff member.

Room and bathroom were clean and it had a decent shower.

No lift - this stop was in the midst of a longer trip and so luggae was heavy. Large parts of the site seem to be not in use. Catering was acceptable but a little odd. Seemed to be being run on a shoe string in terms of staff.

Room was good size, nice and quiet. Nice dinner served by a very polite gentleman from Albania. Nice atmosphere in the bar area.

Beds most uncomfortable I have ever stayed in, all 4 of us woke aching both days waking throughout the night. Fire alarm went off both mornings at or before 7.30 for no reason. 1 tea bag, sugar and milk each for 2 nights. Milk had turned.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht Sauber, ich habe 2x mit dem Personal darüber gesprochen und beim Zweiten mal auch gewisse Sachen gezeigt. Nur bis auf das etwas besser gestaubsaugt wurde ist da nichts passiert. Auch das Bett war sehr schlecht.

Couldn’t find any staff to book in when I arrived Second evening when I got back to the hotel my room key didn’t work and I spent about 10 minutes looking for someone to sort it out. Eventually found them in the kitchen. The cups to make a drink in the room are too small - a mug would be better.

Limited options for breakfast at a higher price caused us to go somewhere else for breakfast, only a full English or continental, more options would be more enjoyable

Doors are not slow closing so doors would slam anytime someone walked through them, also very loud floorboards meant being woken anytime someone walked past the bedroom

Breakfast was good value for the money, but no veggie options in the full English, just removal of the meat! The waitress at dinner and breakfast was very attentive and helpful.

It said we would have a room with a view but the view was of the other side of the hotel and the A/C! It was very basic at best. We had an ironing board in the room but no iron. No hair dryer either, and coffee/drink supplies were cheap and minimal. The bed was uncomfortable and the over the bath shower rubbish. (Write up said the room had both a bath and a walk in shower?!) We were also in a room on the top floor with no lifts and right by the entry door which banged closed as others went through it. There appeared to only be 4 or 5 other guests staying, so why all on the top floor?? Guy on Reception was very curt and unhelpful. Would not choose this hotel again!

Easy to get to from the motorway.. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable bed.. Polite and pleasant staff even though mosf of them had little grasp of the English languauge. Lots of storage space. Lots of parking space.

I asked several tones for a hairdryer but it did not appear.

Although the restaurant was well staffed, serving great food it did lack atmosphere. The tables just had plain white tablecloths, no candles, flowers or cutlery. It did make you feel as if it was closed. Because the room itself is quite large it needs some wall decor, or perhaps some planters to zone the seating a bit more. (These could be on wheels so they can be used in different configurations according to the size of groups)

Bed very squidgy, but passable. Room clean and everything worked. It was missing a hairdryer, however staff were really quick and motivated in finding one, so full marks there.

Beds a massive letdown. Very bad for people with backs that needs some sort of support.

The room temperature was set at 14 degrees on arrival, like stepping into a freezer. The towels were on the bed but that was because there was no towel rail in the bathroom, just the fitting remained. Nowhere to hang a wet towel. The mattress was smaller than the bed base leaving a sharp corner protruding at both sides which wasn't discovered until I hit my shin on it . The menu was limited and my food was at best average . The starter came with the brightest fluorescent green sauce I've ever seen and the Pilau rice had fluorescent Red and orange grains. The lamb curry was tasteless. Internal signing is poor and it took a while to find the stairs and there is no lift. The same applied when trying to find the bar. I found the residents bar but it was firmly closed.

Air conditioning during a heatwave makes this a great hotel! The rooms are well presented and clean, and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of free parking. I didn't try the restaurant or breakfast.

I might have had breakfast on the morning had I not been told the night before that it was £9.99 if booked then, or 12.99 if not pre-booked. Keep the price consistent at £9.99 as knowing that I would have been paying more for the same thing put me off even contemplating it.

Air conditioning and a really good TV! The bed was also quite comfy. It was what we needed.

Room needs a good deep clean - there were cobwebs everywhere & the bath needed a good scrub. The hotel was a little tired.

Very clean, the air conditioner was a Good addition to the room, bathroom was very modern and the shower was very good.

I didn’t like the bed as it was two beds joined so was a little uncomfortable when moving to the middle of the bed as you could feel the join

The hotel was easy to find and clean Rooms are basic but the TV is a good size and the shower was brilliant. The aircon was also wonderful. The restaurant menu is a bit limited but the portions are very generous so if you are not a big eater don't order too many things. Beer is a good price. Would stay again

The only downfall was my key needed resetting each day which was minor but annoying and also the fire alarm went off on our first night and the same again early in the morning.

Breakfast was adequate. Notthe best cooked breakfast Ive had. But for 9.99. It was okay. Nice you could help yourself to drinks, toast, fruit etc.

Firstly must compliment staff. Very warm and welcoming. Cleaniless good, however, bed was dreadful, springs poking up and no mattress protector, just a sheet on bare mattress, really didnt want to think of what lied underneath. Luckily for me I had my the bed to myself, so used quilt as sleeping bag, half underneath to stop awful springs in my back from cheap mattress. There was only hot water in my bathroom tap, no cold water feed, so had to buy bottled water for my tea. The window was locked so couldnt open for fresh air on hot day. The plug socket by bed was crackling when I plugged in a charger, so did not use also. It was a newly renovated room and looked lovely, but the mattress really let it down badly. It was value for money but needs some tweaking. I wouldnt return purely because of mattress comfort and matrress cleaniless. Think will go back to my usual.4☆ rating next time.

The Rudeness and unhelpfulness of the Staff Yes i did turn up early having made a night drive down from Scotland And yes i was prepared to pay to get into room earlier but to be charged £10 per hour for every hour was not on in my eyes. So opted to get another hotel and was treated a lot nicer and fairer
