Lovely clean and fresh
Other guests shouting in the corridors! Know this can't be helped by the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Everything was great
Mooi Hotel, met goed diner, zwemmen, sporten alles in mogelijk
Ontbijt mag wat uitgebreider
Habitacion
Desayuno y cena
Room, facilities, friendly staff
Only down point was the bed was not comfy, quite hard
The adult spa area. Food in the bar was very good.
Receptionist was very vague regarding timings for children in the pool. Her timings contradicted those of your web site. No instructions from receptionist as how to use the spa area, get towels etc. no encouragement to book table at restaurant and 5 hours later when we went to, we discovered it was now fully booked! Single beds in our room were very hard. Cost of an extra £25 pp to use of the outside pool area was very overpriced! Having stayed at the Belfry which is a similar but larger golf hotel and spa nearby, I was disappointed.
Great location, stay good and hotel very clean
Bed was hard and pillows weren’t comfortable
Everything about the Hotel was amazing. All parts of the Hotel were in excellent condition and the staff were so helpful.
Nothing
Location, Services and Excellent Staff
Outdoor restaurant seating
Loved the facilities at the hotel
Nothing- enjoyed the stay
The rooms were a really good size, well decorated, massive shower, the spa facilities were amazing, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great, just a few miles from Warwick, very easy to get an Uber.
The only thing really was it felt and looked like a leisure centre with rooms rather than a hotel. The bar and restaurant also felt like eating in a leisure centre. Just lacked a bit of character is all
You charged me the £50. Took £26 for dinner on top, I was assured by your rude staff who were more interested in gossiping amongst themselves that I would be refunded as I had also been charged late checkout of £30 when we checked out on time at 11 . I since called this establishment who assured me I would get a phone call back and be refunded but neither since has happened. My partner was going to redeem his membership and add me on too but clearly your standards have dropped as your service people. Anyway the matter will be escalated
Poor and lazy customer service and not handing back my money
Currently on a golf society. We do a number of these as a large group but have never received such shocking treatment by the hotel. A deluxe room was booked but as they had overbooked made ridiculous excuses to avoid honouring the booking. The staff at the golf club house are welcoming but I would look elsewhere for value for money and customer service.
Very relaxing environment with excellent facilities
Clean & Tidy Friendly Staff Gym Facilities & outside Pool
Everything you needed very comfortable
Nothing
It is a leisure centre with a hotel, not a spa hotel! Absolutely packed with children and not at all the relaxing break imagined
very friendly staff and nice clean room
more places to sit by the outdoor pool
Bedroom and bathroom both spacious and clean. Nice showers.
Our room (room number 20) was right in front of the cleaning services storage room so it was quite noisy in the morning when they started their shifts.
Lovely quiet location; warm welcome from staff on arrival and my Daughter and I felt very safe and relaxed here. The facilities were great, rooms were smart and the beds were very comfy! We had a really restful stay.
We were sad to only be staying one night!
Amazing gym, great golf course (Kings), comfortable room
Reception staff seemed more interested in having a chat as a group of 3 rather than promptly attending to guests checking in. Room was an accessible room (not needed) and had a terrible smell from the shower drain. Also the view from the window (room 14) was of the laundry storage. And when I say “view”, that’s literally all that could be seen out of the window. Less than ideal! Would also recommend you offer a room service menu beyond the current cut-off of 9pm. For a busy worker, who wants to attend the gym after the working day is over, this leaves no opportunity to get food. Both nights I stayed I ended up going to Leamington to find some sustenance.
Comfortable spacious room. Great pool and spa facilities. Breakfast very good
Dinner extremely slow - almost 2 hours for a starter and a main. Food underwhelming and overpriced. No atmosphere in the restaurant
So nice a big staff excellent
Lovely place
How clean it was and the room was great too
Lovely location. Very nice rooms and very clean
Lack of seats and sun loungers around the pool. No drinks really available around the outdoor pool and spa area.
Went on a golf break with a group of 16 of us. The golf facilities were excellent with two very good, well maintained courses and some excellent staff both in the clubhouse and the course marshalls. We are already considering booking again but a few of our group need some convincing about the hotel. There were probably two main gripes with the hotel side. Firstly I think it is awful that hotel guests are not allowed to use the outside pool and they can only do so if they are willing to pay an extra £25 per day. This is scandalous!!!! And totally unacceptable. Secondly the hot breakfast offering left a lot to be desired. The fried eggs were just piled up in a bowl and were inedible and I can’t even begin to guess how long the bacon had been sitting there. Perhaps the hotel management haven’t eaten in there and seen it first hand? Two fairly easy to fix problems.
La posizione, la facilità del parcheggio, l’ampiezza delle camere.
Una certa approssimazione nella colazione, peraltro di qualità modesta. La pulizia non sempre impeccabile, soprattutto delle posate.
Location, setting, rooms and superb leisure facilities
After an excellent dinner in the restaurant the breakfast was disappointing with everything pre cooked and eggs dried out.
Location, staff, bathroom, outdoor pool golf clubhouse
Bedroom lighting and furnishings very hard bed, no bathrobe (extra charge)
Beautiful location
Not many obvious signs up on the inside or outside so can be confusing where things are. Reception staff were not the most helpful.
Lovely hotel and set in an beautiful countryside. Amazing views and a brilliant spa.
Driving up to the hotel was disappointing it looked more like a prison nothing inviting at all. Inside was nice as was the pools and room. Food expensive and not all that. Ran out of towels for the pool and receptionist said we had to use room towel???. Skipped breakfast because of bad reviews. Packed with gym members all walking round the hotel, not at all relaxing. We won't be back.
The bed was extremely comfortable.
The smell from the drains. The stench was unbearable so moved to another room across the corridor. This also had a bad drainage smell but no other rooms available.
Nice venue, easy location and lovely room
We would have liked to use the spa but when we booked via here we were not aware that you have to pay an additional £20 each to use the facilities
Room was superb, air con, pillows, TV all really comfortable, and superbly clean.
nothing to report everything was spot on!
Really nice rooms lovely staff friendly main lunch and evening menu was so nice
The only thing that lets it down the breakfast was not the best
The breakfast was awful, the staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there all looked miserable
The breakfast components were a little overcooked. Tea making could be arduous. Swimming pool and changing rooms of high standard.
As this was a golf hotel no information was provided where one could have a casual walk as a non golfing guest.
We came for the golf and were not disappointed.
At Breakfast there was no staff. Food was running out and no staff was on hand to talk to request more. Not much choice either. We booked 2 X golf days and one night stay. Information between the golf staff and hotel staff was disconnected making the experience unnecessarily complicated for us the guests.
Excellent service
Very clean and functional.
Would have preferred additional Americans pod in the room rather than latte pods.
Clean and modern. Great facilities. Beautiful location and very good area
Excellent overnight stay at the Warwickshire for golf and leisure. Played both courses, very different and enjoyable - good pace, excellent service in pro shop and marshals on course. Hotel room was excellent, ready for our arrival - good linens, some fa bed made up and appealing (so many are a let down, shower was amazing. Used the gym and outdoor pool spa area - only recently opened and was very lovely. Gym instructor (girl) was super helpful and welcoming too. Definitely returning again soon. Thank you
Clean room. Tea, coffee available in room. Lovely air con in the heatwave. Receptionists were lovely.
The very busy gym and pool are next to the dining room, so a lot of people were coming in or leaving through the dining area, which was not restful at all. The choice of food for dinner was very basic. Breakfast was really poor, really limited and not fresh - pastries were soggy, melon salad looked old, and no natural yoghurt for example. The pools were nice, but far too busy, so I didn’t land up swimming. It was a shame that the photos of the hotel and pool make a promise that the environment is really restful… it’s not!
Facilities, room was lovely. Inexpensive, clean....
Staff were the most miserable unhelpful bunch I've experienced to date and I stay in a lot of hotels. No smile...no welcome. Didn't add WiFi password or gate code to key card so had to walk all the way back to reception to get this and was due to attend a Teams meeting. I also have £50 debited to my card that has not been returned. Probably wouldn't return on the basis of the staff alone If you don't like your job....do something else!
I thought the room was nicely appointed, the setting is great, and the produce for breakfast was first rate
There was a drain smell in the shower There was a wait at breakfast for, plates, glasses and some of the food items
Beautiful location and the new outdoor pool area was outstanding
The check in experience was good, the receptionists were exceedingly helpful. They made sure the booking-in experience was efficient and we were not kept waiting longer than necessary. The room was nice and comfortable and the bed was comfortable though I had trouble getting on the bed but that is because I am short not because of any short falls in the establishment. We had a meal in the Warwick room on the first night. The waiter was great, 'Sam' was both helpful and knowledgable about his job and the product he was serving. Sam was actually one of the pluses to the stay. he was both friendly and professional. When I paid for the meal we wanted to give him a tip, but was told this was not aloud. Even though I thought he deserved it, especially as he made sure my partner got what he wanted for his breakfast on both days of our stay. Well done.
I thought the menu could reflect the hotel more. There were things we liked on the menu, however because it was a spa and health and lifestyle type hotel just thought the menu could have reflected it a bit more thats all. Otherwise no issues. I think the booking process of the hotel could be clearer I thought I had paid for breakfast for two days. to be informed that I had not, and I always pay for breakfast when we go away, no matter how long we stay for. So this was poor on behalf of booking.com. I would like to be able to pay and book direct with the hotel.
Great place with nice rooms and good facilities
Everything was great this time around
Love the new renovations and facilities. Clean hotel and rooms easy to access
Nice firm bed.
Poor bar area. No lemon in G&T.
Nice location and views across golf course
No pizza available as ran out of pizza bases.
Very smart clean tidy and staff were excellent
All good.
Room size and bathroom
Room looking a little tired
Modern and clean
No shuttle between the golf club and the horel The gym appears to be the main focus of the hotel
Room was lovely, staff in the bar and at the reception were very welcoming.
The bed was very hard. Apart from that the room was lovely, stylish and clean. The only thing I also found a little frustrating was the golf club not serving the children’s menu that they did at the hotel. We had to go back and forth.
Facilities were great as was the location for what we wanted. The room was of a good size and well equipped. We didnt have breakfast but had an evening meal which was fine.
Lack of attentive staff in reception and dinning area - obviously caught everyone on a busy day
Breakfast was ok, not a bigger choice considering the cost
Arrived at 9pm, went to room, someone already in there (embarrassing), waited over an hour for an alternative - was given a voucher for a drink at the bar. Considering the cost of staying here, this seems unacceptable.
Nice location with plenty of outdoor spaces to sit. Staff friendly & very helpful.
A little disappointed that the rooms weren't set up as requested ( 2x twin) but this was soon rectified. Breakfast on the first morning was not great but after a little persuasion was sorted.
Location
Getting woken up at 6.30am by a towel trolley banging down the corridor
Room was spot on, location was fabulous. Nice atmosphere.
Breakfast was not great to be honest - undercooked bacon and lack of options
Lovely location, beautiful view from decked area
Not regarding the property, but more towards accommodating pre-requested needs and reception - complete failure, also requested help with a few things on a special day, again no assistance - person I presume is a manager, very lovely, best intentions, a member of reception staff needs to know when to make remarks about the manager
The lobby and the bar needs to improve a lot. Tks, MM
Lovely stay, couldn’t fault it
Nothing, all brilliant. A simple breakfast menu in the bar would be nice, for those not wanting the full buffet.
Fantastic venue, amazing location, beautiful scenery, great facilities. Very happy with the stay! I would love to come back. Fabolous view on the terrace, swimming pool and gym also very good and clean.
I would have helped to get another card to enter the room. The family did different things at different times so we had to wait for each other a bit.
We were at Farmfest for a couple of days and the location of the hotel worked well for us. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Spa was clean Bed was very comfortable and room clean and good size
We arrived earlier than check in time. We weren't advised beforehand that there is no luggage store, apart from it staying in an unlocked, unsecured, public area. For a hotel to not offer such a service was disappointing so we had to repack our car and then get it back out on our return late at night. Bar staff/service at night was questionable. Had to ring the bell a few times the first night to get any service. All young lads that are possibly new to the role, all hide away behind the scenes. Second night a few guys ahead of us questioning how rounds if drinks were being charged differently. I had a glass of rosé which was served warmer than expected, had to ask for ice. Just not a professional outfit for a hotel which wasn't charging cheap rates. The YSB and plug sockets in one side of the bed didn't work.
Very comfortable and all the facilities we required. Super swimming pool.
A little busy at times with a large number of health club members and children.
Fitness facility is really amazing. Very big gym and a pretty nice swimming pool. The room was big enough and nice. Every day there were 2 bottles of water in my room. Parking gets quite busy but big enough for everyone. Golf courts are amazing.
Staff was not really kind to me. When arrived they didn't explain anything about fitness facilities, restaurants and where my room was. I had dinner one night at the restaurant, food was ok, but service worst thing ever. I had to pay before getting the food on my table, never seen anything like this before. SPA was closed for that week but this was not mentioned during reservation....
Very well equipped room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was immaculately clean and this standard was maintained throughout my stay.
I marked down on the value for money as it was expensive. At this price, I feel breakfast could have been offered
The water in shower smelt off shit
Excellent swimming pool
Food was poor
Excellent room, breakfast and atmosphere.
Excellent gym and pool facilities. Friendly staff. Rooms are large, modern and comfortable.
Sadly a disappointing stay. Arrived late to check in for a reserved double room and as the last person to check in that night, I was obviously allocated whatever was left, which proved to be disappointing and not what I had expected from the pictures of the room and description at the time I had booked online. I was offered drink tokens to make up for it, which, as I wasn’t going to the bar or looking for a drink, further disappointed. As the hotel was full there was no chance of a different or even upgraded room. I have to stay around Warwick for a number of days a month so will continue my search for a better hotel that can also offer a corporate rate. A real shame, had high expectations which were sadly dashed.
Everything about this hotel was fine a little manic at breakfast time but overall our stay at the Warwickshire was good.
Comfortable beds, decent swimming pool/jacuzzi facilities.
The bathroom smelt like sewage, very disgusting smell as soon as we entered the room. The outside drinks patio was being refurbed which is fine but this wasn’t disclosed when booking which is disappointing as the weather was nice so would have been good to know ahead of time. From 7am in the morning we was woken up by the noise of several trolleys/cages being moved constantly which was very annoying and ruined our sleep.
The room was a decent size with good views. The shower in the bathroom was very powerful. Breakfast was quite good but dependant on when you arrived. Very convenient for Warwick when travelling from the north.
A fridge in the room would have been good. The hot breakfast was dependant on when you arrived with trays of food not being topped up until almost empty
Very pleasant grounds, nice clean rooms, friendly staff.
The Hotel is not really a hotel in the traditional sense of the word, it’s a sports club with attached rooms rather than a hotel. Great choice for golfers and local fitness fanatics but not greatly attractive to families. Rooms are disconnected from facilities. Entry is via key controlled system to the shared sports facilities/bar and restaurant and there is no room service after 9pm.
Beautiful grounds. Bed rooms a good size and excellent shower
First day breakfast was very busy. Ran out of the fruit bowl totally which was annoying. 2nd day less busy but no scramble eggs. Bit of a poor show.
The golf course was fantastic. The hotel Jeeesss. Problems started as soon as we walked in. We booked an 8pm meal. The staff tried to move to 7pm. They explained why it was far more convenient for them to serves at 7pm. Despite the fact in booked for 8pm as I wanted to watch the football. The whole dining experience was poor. Meal was poor quality for the price paid. Bruschetta was so basic. Then the main meal was chicken and chips. With no upgrade option. No dessert. No waiting service at the table you had to go to the bar. The bar service was really poor and took ages to get served as only one person on the bar. Got back to the room. It stank of sewage. Called the receptionist in. Offered a drink voucher (I'm going to bed). Even then was trying show horn us into a breakfast slot at 7am. (I'm on holiday stop trying to wake me up so early for your benefit). Said no way and I will go for breakfast when I like. I'm paying. So here I am. Say in my room stinking of sewage. Night. Looking forward to golf tomorrow though.
Continent for travel.
The rooms all facing the parking when you’re on a magnificent site.
It was absolutely outstanding, the grounds were stunning, the hospitality was amazing and the facilities were top quality. We really enjoyed the pool and spa area and the restaurant food was delicious. Special mention for Cary who was running the restaurant, absolutely fabulous customer care which went above and beyond the usual hotel offering.
Nothing. It far exceeded our expectations!
Staff - in partticular Elliot and Jack who were in the restaurant at breakfast were charming and very helpful, a credit to the hotel.
extractor fan in bathroom not working strong smell from drains TV had to be manually tuned every time I wanted to watch it
Breakfast didnt live up to expectations. Staff need more training in bar and restaurants. Most tables in bar had dirty cups, glasses plates left on them. Staff walked passed them and it wasnt busy.
Messy bar areas
Decided to end our health club membership. 5 years ago when we joined the cost was £80 each per month which was expensive compared to others but we liked it and felt comfortable there. Since then their prices have risen by 75% to £139 each per month. Only difference is they are building an outdoor pool, however, that does not justify the prices. We have found an alternative hotel offering the same facilities but has a spa too for £50 each per month so off we go. Warwickshire got too greedy charging 5* for 4*
Facilities and room
Breakfast was poor and cold
This one night was followed by additional 2 night stay as part of a larger group golf booking, very disappointed by closing times of bar (considering the Master was on) and the bar running out of two lagers and guiness, considering we were not the only golf group there and the masters was on I would have thought someone would have had the foresight to plan accordingly for these things
Hotel was beautiful, great stay
Almost everything was perfect.
The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the bar ran out of quite a few things leaving us limited on drinks. Also the bar shut at 11 on Sunday when its masters Sunday and there was at least 50 people in the bar willing to spend.
Good facilities and great location. Nice setting!
My bed was 2 singles pushed together and it wasn't comfortable to sleep over the join. We also sat in the private area for breakfast and after we sat down to eat, somebody came and moved us 'as it shouldn't have been open'. Lack of staff in the restaurant at mealtimes.
In the 5 years of membership the price has almost double, I expect to pay for the new outdoor pool but its made this place inaccessible for most people. £280 a month for the gym/pool facilities makes you feel you are paying for something really outstanding but in truth its not. Its ok, i do love it here- which is why I have been here a long time and was well worth the money at half the cost. There is too much competition out there and with our in work benefits we can get another hotel for £75 for us both. No brainer. So our membership here is over as feel they got too greedy.
Went to wedding and could'nt fault the organisation of that. Grounds are lovely
The wifi hit/miss. Toilet was constantly running so needed to close b/room door. Room exceptionally cold and no info how to operate heating. Whatever I tried made no difference. People cud not contact us via hotel phone!!!!
Lovely grounds and swimming pools. It was nice to be able to use the pool after check out and our children loved it.
No complaints although food could have been better- poached eggs were hard and the menu generally could have been a bit more interesting.
