Es war alles super! Aber: Die Zimmereinrichtungen würden sich über einen frischen Anstrich freuen. Ein paar Möbelstücke oder Teppiche dürften nächstens auch mal ersetzt werden. Klagen auf relativ hohem Niveau :-)

First and foremost, the staff at this hotel are spectacular. Everyone was friendly and aimed to please. A huge " Thank You " to Mahmoud at the front desk for making our stay truly memorable. He was instrumental in helping us with surprising our friends upon their arrival as well as helping with a short notice dinner reservation. - Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Dinner buffet had an incredible cold bar. - Pool area and restaurant were perfect for relaxing. Great service. - Bar area in evenings was nice place to sit back and socialize. - Two very nice golf courses - both the 18 hole regulation and 9 hole executive. - No Kids!

I wish some of the hot mains at dinner buffet were more "cooked to order". Many of the proteins (meats & poultry) were so dry, as if cooked hours ago and reheated. It was hit and miss as to what you got.

Alles perfekt,wie immer.Wir waren zum 4.mal dort.

Schöne Lage am Golfplatz, ideal für Golfer. Shuttle-Bus zum Strand stündlich. schöne Sundowner-Terasse. Das Personal im Restaurant ist großartig, uns hat Amer betreut, aber auch alle anderen superfreundlich und sehr aufmerksam! Sehr gutes Vorspeisen-Buffet und Patisserie.

Hauptgänge haben Steigerungspotential von einem guten-sehr guten Niveau. Fleisch teils trocken oder durchgegart wo das m.E. nicht der Fall sein sollte. Dringend empfehlen wir die Anschaffung von Tellerwärmern. Nichts ist mehr abtörnend als wenn der Hauptgang wenn man am Tisch ankommt schon erkaltet ist, erst recht wenn man vom Grill auf der Terasse Essen holt. Wir hatten Flug und Hotel getrennt gebucht. Wir sind bei Ankunft in Hurghada für die Fahrt zum Hotel übelst betrügerisch übers Ohr gehauen worden! Für Rückfahrt einen Uber bestellt - der kam dann und verlangte eine vielfachen des bereits über Uber bezahlten Preises in bar. Ist dann wieder gefahren, als wir das nicht bezahlten wollten! Hotel-Shuttle war dann rasch da und mit seriösem Fahrer bestückt...

La zone transat de la piscine de l'hôtel, sous la vue des chambres périphériques. Il est nécessaire d'une isolation visuelle avec une haie par exemple. La plage sur la mer partagée avec un autre établissement très en dessous du standing de l'hôtel Les diners avec une proposition qui se veut trop sophistiquée mais mal maitrisée, le chef doit se remettre en question

Bin das 2.x hier und nur schon die Begrüßung war überaus herzlich, als wäre ich erst gerade da gewesen, dabei war es über 1 Jahr her. Von überall kam ein welcome back Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Jungs im Speise Saal, aufmerksam und fleißig Da wird sofort nachgeschenkt, abgeräumt ohne aber aufdringlich zu sein Das Essen ist wunderbar, da fehlt es an nichts. Der ⛳️ ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und der Marshall hat es gut im Griff und schaut, dass es läuft Man fühlt sich einfach super wohl hier Alles ist überschaubar und familiär Hat man dann doch ein Problem wird man an der Reception die Hilfe finden Und das Problem wird sofort gelöst Auch immer schön in das frisch gemachte Zimmer zu kommen und gespannt aufs Bett zu gucken was für ein Kunstwerk drauf liegt, gemacht aus Frottetücher und Blütenblätter- herrlich und zum schmunzeln Also für mich wirds bestimmt ein 3.X geben, dass ich hierher komme, weil es einfach an nichts fehlt Ich danke dem ganzem Steigenberger Team vom ganzem Herzen

Toit, teenidus, puhtus ja hubasus on kõik kõrgel tasemel. Soovitan väga seda hotelli paaridele või väikesele seltskonnale. Ööbisime superior toas kus oli suur rõdu vaatega golfiväljakule. Tuba oli valge ning avar, vannituba samuti suur ja hubane. Golfiväljak oli väga heas seisukorras.

Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen nicht ohne Grund schon zum zweiten Mal! Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel und sind erneut begeistert. Das gesamte Team ist einfach unfassbar gastfreundlich – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Die Atmosphäre im Haus ist warm, angenehm und absolut zum Wohlfühlen. Sowohl die Qualität des Service als auch das Essen sind outstanding. Jeder Handgriff sitzt, alles ist aufmerksam und professionell, und die Küche ist wirklich hervorragend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Das Personal ist unfassbar freundlich, sehr kompetent und jederzeit sehr, sehr hilfsbereit. Wie bereits im letzten Jahr haben wir wieder viele interessante - auch ernste - Gespräche geführt, viel miteinander gelacht, und uns bei sehr guter Verpflegung (Dank an die Küche!) mehr als gut erholt. Spezielle Grüße an unseren Freund Ayman Elmasry, F&B-Manager - es war uns wie im vorigen Jahr - wieder ein besonderes Vergnügen. Ebenso an "Bibo" (Abanob) und unseren Roomboy/Housekeeper Ayman, der sich stets um unseren Komfort auf dem Zimmer gekümmert hat, so dass wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Danke für die sehr kreativen und humorvollen Handtuchkreationen, die uns nach der morgendlichen Zimmerreinigung Tag für Tag aufs Neue begeistert haben :-). Auch Macarius (Marcus" aka Mr. Merry Chrismas) war immer sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, Dankeschön! Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf ein Wiedersehen!

Das TV an der Wand ist viel zu klein und der Ton ist wirklich schlecht. Mehr deutsche Sender wären toll.

the staff are lovely especially the bar and catering team. they remembered my birthday and did a small celebration for me. Before you even sit down at the table or the bar they are bringing our favourite drinks without needing to ask for them. food was varied with different daily specials. we were late returning on one of our excursions and they kept some food for us at the restaurant which we very much appreciated

the people next door were continously smoking and the smoke was coming through the connecting door but the front manager kindly told us he would remind our neighbours it was non smoking and amazingly the next day it stopped!!

The Bathroom was big and nice. Some of the staff were helpful and nice as well friendly

The hotel is quite small and there are sadly no space to have a romantic walk in the garden... The gym was also tiny and a couple of machines were defective. We had stomachaches and diarrhea when we tried the food at Sofra restaurant... 2 days later my partner also had a stomache from the food at Steinberger.. We were promised that someone will get back to us and give us some sort of feedback... I asked again before we left and we were promised again that they will contact us and give us feedback why and how this happened.. sadly no one contacted us or even cared ....

I stayed at Steigenberger Makadi, and I can say it’s a perfect choice for honeymooners and couples who love peace and quiet. The atmosphere is really calm and relaxing, which made it a great place . The staff were super friendly and always helpful. Every time I left the room, housekeeping surprised me with nice touches on the bed, which made the stay even more special. As for the food, it was good with a decent variety, though I honestly expected it to be a bit better. Still, the options were enough and quite enjoyable overall.

Property was clean, beautiful well kept gardens and golf court, dinner was delicious despite, kitchen and catering team were amazing; friendly, polite, professional and very helpful. Pool was very relaxing and clean with a wonderful view.

Hotel is far away from the beach, you need a shuttle bus which runs hourly and has a couple of stops before reaching the beach. The beach is very crowded as more than one hotel share same space on the beach. I had a bad experience with Check in , staff from reception ( his name was Amr) was not friendly, asked for reservation reference which I forgot to keep a screenshot on my mobile, I felt I was interrogated by him as I was checking in with my Fiancé in separate rooms as per hotel rules. I was stressed as I was unable to access booking app at that time for some reason despite me offering to share all other relevant information but he insisted on booking reference, I was about to cancel my booking and return to Soma bay however Mahmoud ( reception team ) was amazing, he was very understanding, friendly, professional, hospitable and resolved the issue within a few minutes. I appreciate his effort and help; thank you Mahmoud.

Très bon service seulement si vous donnez des pourboires exemple pour le menage de la chambre au 4 etage la personne n'a pas cessé de réclamer de l'argent à mes enfants. Par contre à la reception, dans les différents restos et à la piscine le personnel est au top.

Spacious room

There was a work vehicle that desperately needed a service or replaced as it would make a loud noise early in the morning. I understand they have work to do but using a vehicle that is well maintained so it doesn’t make unnecessary noise would be greatly appreciated by the guests.

The reception was great, the staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and the view was very comfortable and beautiful, and the main restaurant, chefs and waiters were friendly , shutter bus every hour to the beach which sandy , the hotel can provide you shutter bus to go to Makadi water world.

Concerning the hotel, daily housekeeping service, which does not fully perform its job. The only cleaning in the bathroom was the trash basket, without polishing anything else or removing water stains. The coffee corner didn't provide the necessary supplies, such as wooden spoons. Nothing in the room was polished, not even the bed was made. Sunblock accidentally fell on the table and mirrors, and they were not cleaned. An hour before checkout time, I left the room and forgot something then I returned to my room and found the housekeeping inside the room before completing the checkout and handing the room card to reception. Another negative in makadi, Uber app, which overcharges and negotiates very high prices outside the app, taking advantage of the long distance and the customer's need for a quick trip.

Absolutely outstanding hotel experience! We stayed here with our two daughters, ages 18 and 16, and every aspect was exceptional—from the delicious food and stylish ambiance to the fantastic location, top-notch fitness offerings, and delightful entertainment. But what truly makes this hotel stand out is the incredible staff. They were exceptionally attentive, genuinely kind, wonderfully funny, and very personable. Special thanks to Mr. Masry, Ahmed at reception, and the fantastic Kadou, the zen fitness instructor and world champion in Boccia. Highly recommend this gem! Thank you all for making our first visit to Egypt unbelievably memorable and for making us feel as if we were visiting our second home. Truly 5 stars in every category!

I would like only to mention the good staff who deserves a great shoutout although all my issues during this stay! Firstly Ahmed Fateen in the reception is absolutely amazing! Polite and friendly.. he gave us a decent tour for the hotel and chose a spacious room with amazing golf view.. chief Yassin, is amazing too! He has a warm smile and so kind! Mr Ramy the manager is polite and he showed great potential to help and sort our issues! The hotel is not bad! The rooms on the golf are something else!

Oh! Alot! A person called Masry and he claimed he is the F&B manager came to me while im having breakfast with my husband and asked me to put a tshirt on while im in the restaurant although i was in dress code, i had my pants and cropped shirt on and all foreigners aroud where literally in their swimsuit which i considered rudeness, discrimination and racism!! Secondly all extra drinks and food are coming in a cheque in euros! When i raised that im egyptain and i should get the receipt in egyptian pounds they told me no these are the rules! Thirdly the hotel is way far from the shared beach! Its like 10 mins driving distance then 10 mins walking distance which was not convenient in this hot weather! I found on my room’s door a gecko and insects on my bed sheets! I have an option for a la carte restaurant and when i asked the idiot reception guy to help me in reserving he refused and when i asked to escalate, Mr Ramy is the one who helped!

1) we arrived an hour late however our room wasn’t ready and we got to the room after 30 mins from arriving. 2) We were asked to wear pants and shoes to dinner on our arrival however it wasn’t mentioned or communicated beforehand and I was very surprised because I was half board so hadn’t I had an emergency pants in my luggage would I have lost the privilege to get dinner 3) We saw a big pool of blood between our floor and the floor above when we were going to the lobby which made my wife very terrified the whole night. 4) The reception called us to check out 10 mins before time despite the fact that we checked in later than our time All of this was communicated to the reception starting from the late check-in to the blood incident and the urgency to checkout before my time and no action was taken and I didn’t feel that they care.

Many things: 1- Check in was supposed to be at 2pm I arrived at 3 pm I received the room at almost 4 pm ! I told the reception the room was supposed to be clean and ready since 2 pm and no one was cooperative and they were so negative. 2- I requested queen bed in the booking phase and when I arrived they gave me a double bed room and after I informed them it took them extra 15 mins to find me another room 3- when we arrived they surprised that its mandatory to attend dinner with pants and refused to let us attend dinner with shorts ! And no one from the hotel informed us before coming with this rule

Absolutely amazing hotel!

Everything was extremely perfect. Staff are amazing and helpful. Property is exquisite. Location is great within the Golf course.

This was our second stay, we were welcomed like old friends. The staff are absolutely amazing they make the holiday really special. Hopefully we will be back later in the year
